761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: August 07, 2020, 11:20:59 AM
White paper is just a beautiful legend, a fairy tale that, if it does come true, is either not as written, or does not live up to expectations, or does not come true at all. Choosing a project for investment taking into account only white paper is like marrying a bride only because of her beautiful appearance

Or maybe and most of the time it is using by this crook to lure and hype the investors to their scummy project. By the way a good project make their own way and attract people by the result of their project. For me ( not at all) WP is just only a tool that can be use good neither bad nowadays.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: August 07, 2020, 04:05:06 AM

Thanks dude, I think i need to explore more and learn more on how to be better to mine and earn MASS, I hope the price soon climb in a good spot, I will start a little and watch for the price goes high.

Buy now if you really wanna get benefited with this coin. Price is down these days and thats the ideal time to invest in any coin. Not many of us avail the opportunity when coins are at there bottom.

I tried several days but seems that mining this coin is not fair enough to get profit or to get good amount of coin, yeah you are right buying this coin is the best option for now and wait for the ath and sure win for the profit.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I bought 30 grand usd worth of P106 and hosted them in China! on: August 07, 2020, 02:40:35 AM
Hey whats up guys, I am Bruce and I just bought 30,000 USD of p106 card and hosted them in China. 33 eight-cards rigs. This is the first time I posted something here lol. I want to mark my revenue and every expense every two or three days to give the newbee a clear idea of GPU mining. I am not a master but I used to do GPU rental services so I know a bit.

All the p106 cards I bought were from one of my rental contractor farms in China, we have been working together for two years. And I just wired him money and let him do all the stuff for me. His farm is in Guizhou, China. The elec is 0.057 USD, and approximately 1.23 USD for electricity use per miner per day. And p106 I bought was 800 for one 8-card rig. I gave him my exchange wallet and I got paid directly everyday when the pool pays.

I made a google sheet to monitor my investment and everybody can view it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LBD2zgDZxrdUkreOYUcwBqr75E0l_jdsqz4ZpTW6GNY/edit?usp=sharing

I hope you guys can get what you need from here, thanks!

I'm just also thinking and planning to run again my gpu rig, the only thing that hinder me is the stability and the profit of mining today, it looks like the market is not yet stable and my though was, if i start running my rig for example in 1 month time im just worried if the price of eth drops again i can't cope to pay my electricity bill, suddenly the electricity price in my country is too expensive. So what do you guys think?
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: GMNG/BNB listing on Binance Dex BEP8 on: August 06, 2020, 04:44:38 PM
Good to you dude, but did you consider that most of the people here love to read a good information in one's typical project? seems you forgot to write the most important thing here in bitcointalk, a complete information because most people here are no time to visit some link. This is a unsolicited advice, kindly put all your link information here and let the BTT community decide if they want to go in to your link.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: August 05, 2020, 04:43:30 PM
It means that the gpu mining industry will alive again? is it the sign that im going to assemble my gpu rig again and participate the miners to solve every dag file needed to get an ETH reward.. If you have a good and potential coin to be mine, don't be hesitate to drop it here Wink
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: hash crack bounty up to 10 BTC on: August 05, 2020, 04:41:24 PM

767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡PRIVCY [PRIV]⚡ Airdrop explained in details on: August 05, 2020, 04:28:56 PM
It's my big regrets for buying this coin worth 780$ and now the coin i have from the amount i bought is only $12 or less, plus the fact that this coin is now diminished in the market, I hope some newbie here will learn the lesson that too much hype is not good, better to good to be true.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.0e: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: August 04, 2020, 05:30:14 PM
It;s nice to see that the development of Phoenix miner is on going and the dev and the team done a great job, I wish and hope that the old days of mining profit will be back again, specially to us who are living in the country that the electricity is so expensive, we cannot afford to pay our bill in this current mining profit.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4GB GPUs and DAG file load problem with Claymore and Ethereum on: August 04, 2020, 05:27:42 PM
Claymore disappear again? I would think he'd like to update his software to allow mining 4GB until that time but nothing. I stopped using his Mining software once PheonixMiner came around. Now there's other options at hash just as good as his. He was first to market with "soft-mod" BIOs for Nvidia 1x00 and AMD however, props to him.

There's couple of miner are available inside of this section you can chose one that are fitted to your gpu's/asic needs. I agree I once running Phoenix in my gpu rig and it seems it gives and add to my riga good hashrate power, I stopped to use Claymore since the day that good miner entered to this forum.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📱[ANN][ZCore - Official Release] [🔥][ PoS] [ Quark ] on: August 04, 2020, 05:14:03 PM
The very intimidating part of every project is the swap, I don't know why so many developer imposes this type of scheme, I have many of coins that i've been hold for months the other are for year, suddenly after im done checking their updates i saw that they've done swap things in their coin. Sometime the swap decrease your holding coins and sometimes it's value.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTC2] Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: August 04, 2020, 04:05:39 PM
It has had both, but no bounty or airdrop going on.

What other forks of bitcoin keep giving out coins? I have only found one Bitcoin Ultimatum coin so far. I am very interested in getting some coins in my wallet. Is there a summary table of all the forks?

Pretty sure BTCU is not a true fork ....for any BTC you have in HODL mode. But feel free to send me a link that states such and feel free to prove me wrong.

I could not find anything much on this with google in that area.

But, as to your point, there does not seem to be any 'true' BTC forks anymore for your BTC HOLD Hoard.....mostly stuff like Bitcoin 2 which are NOT true fork

(or limited to a true fork for a brief few months on launch it seems for a lot of BTC forks now). Anyway, with low volume on all such forks, you likely could not really

get much if anything for them anymore. It seems that all exchanges don't 'purge' sh*tcoins anymore....they just have a 'hard floor' of 7 stats or 0.00000001...thus

As, and EXAMPLE ONLY I've 10 million FJC (Fujicoin a 'dead coin' with like 80 million for sale with no takers) says it is worth for example,

FJC, even though it is deader than dead sh*tcoin that it is, on most exchanges only go as low as 7 sats for value...thus it sits in the basement never to go away

of exchanges even though it is 'worth' nothing with I think around 80-100 million FJC on various exchanges with NO sales in months of any note. Sad So, supposedly, at

0.00000001 x 10,000,000 = 0.1 BTC or approx as of this time at $11,232.14 from www.coinmarketcap.com that 'supposedly' means my hoard of FJC

is worth $1,123.21...in 'REALITY' it is worth absolutely nothing (make me an offer you can frame the nice paper wallet for fun) So, in that FJC has not 'sold' anything of

any note in a year or so. So keep this in mind for all sh*tcoins in general and perhaps 'most' newer and or dubious BTC forks

and or whatever Altcoins....reality, now that exchanges no longer 'purge' dead coins..also applies IMHO, to dead BTC forks or any note from back in the

day. You may be seeing a LOT of imaginary profit vs reality if you just rely on what an exchange tells you for a BTC fork and its worth. Even those from back in the

the day that actually matches BTC for the forked coin. Anyway, as an aside. Damn, I sure wish they still purged 'dead coins' or 'dead coin forks'

like this like back in the day...but likely this is how it is now 'cluttered' exchanges filled with dubious sh*tcoins in 7 sat limbo forever. Maybe Bitcoin Ultimatum is in the

same boat...seems likely, from what I can tell. Be nice to be wrong, I too would like a non-dubious fork of BTC with value...but seems damn unlikely in 2020. Sad

Brad

I partly agree with you that in speaking of fork, in my thought ie was also made by some developer that want to take advantage of Bitcoin, maybe we can called it "Modofied" i don;t know what is the best term to use to call this so called Bitcoin forks.

But in fairness to the developer of Bitcoin 2 seems the development is continues since 2018, maybe some of their action are too slow but Btc2 remains in the market.

773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: All Mining Pools are Stealing. Or Not? on: August 01, 2020, 11:52:13 PM
I think they are not, but they have so many hidden charges to miner that they can never tell (yeah of course it's a form of stealing legally Smiley ) but we have the responsibility to chosse a trust worthy mining pool for us to maximize our income in mining.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4GB GPUs and DAG file load problem with Claymore and Ethereum on: August 01, 2020, 11:43:56 PM
I think that is one of the problem mining eth, the dag file, many of my gpu;s had the same problem and it was change the hashrate and reduce it, i also notice that in the long run the gpu will no longer available to flash into factory mod.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get rewards for TRON (trx) nodes? on: August 01, 2020, 02:13:53 PM
How many tron will be needed in building or setting up node? Tron is a good coin and has a solid foundation and one of the coin who has a good future. Is there anyone here running a ton masternode? What server you are using right now?
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitflate (crypto with inflation) Mining on: August 01, 2020, 07:57:52 AM
Seems the OP has a consistent spirit in promoting this coin? miner? i have no idea what was you are promoting here, if your coin, I ask that you put more information regarding your coin and also if you are promoting a miner same question i just want to ask, kindly post a full details here.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mininig with Air Conditioner ??? on: August 01, 2020, 07:38:22 AM
nowadays it is not practical to mine cryptos and using aircondition, I've been a miner since 2015 and mining in a tropical country, in my experience a good ventilation is enough to cool down your gpu's. If you are living in place that has good temperature, no need to use an AC, and by the way if you are using AC it will give a not good outcome with your rigs, because if you are not doing some good config in your AC system, it will cause static in your machine.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with the experts? on: August 01, 2020, 07:34:39 AM
It depends on experts. because most of them are using their opinion just to promote or disgrace one's project or some of them are using their influence just to take advantage the crypto community to believe on something that he is promoting.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: July 31, 2020, 11:44:09 PM
For me, a whitepaper is a like a business plan in business and a documentation/manual on a production. Without it it seems that the project has no clear idea what he is doing and what will its end result. I would recommend to skip everything that has no whitepaper.
All of the projects, especially ICO have an initial whitepaper, I have never seen any project that doesn't have whitepaper, back in 2014 or so there used to be some POW coins that used to make a whitepaper after the launch but no one is surviving till now. OP actually stated something good that you should always check that project should be having some working product that they promised in the whitepaper or working towards it and is under progress, this makes sure that the team is working and not just giving everyone false promises which they can't fulfill.

Thanks mate for reinstating my point, actually I never discredit the importance of WP like I said the WP is the Owners Manual of every product they've bought, but today the WP is far difference with the digital product there are promoting, and all of the written words inside WP are not defying the product and it will not happen also in their finish product.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: July 30, 2020, 09:07:16 AM
Who among us here have been victims of almost perfect Whitepaper?
Those sublimely well-written, full of excellent ideas and proposals that turned out to be a piece of crap!
Reading whitepaper is not enough to be a basis of investing in crypto because almost everyone can write whatever they want,
they even promise you the Moon and Stars.

So, be careful now in choosing ICOs, as much as possible look for projects that at least have initially implemented the products or services, if not the whole.

You honestly made my day; I was just laughing out when I am coming across the image you have shared. If I would have come across this kind of topic some two or three years back, that would have changed many things in my investment plans with respect to what I have done with most of the ICOs. At some point of time, people have emphasized about the importance of ICO whitepapers and used it as a tool to identify a right projects.

Over the time I remember someone has shared like this: many ICOs has managed to derive wonderful concepts and provided them in whitepapers but for no reason they fail to develop and deliver those things. Because, this is free world and no one need to keep their word after they achieved big money through crowdfunding. This was what exactly happened with most of the ICOs even they had perfect whitepaper.

Thanks for appreciating my post, you have the point here, Yeah i admitted that WP is the user manual in every product they want to offer in public, same with ICO, but nowadays because of many flaws in ICO project, people are now are so aware and conscious about, we can never  blame them, me or us to develop a wrong perspective in some ICO project that has a good written WP.
