I think there is more you can actually do to prevent situations like this from cropping up in the first place and a number of them can actually highlight something isn't right somewhere, if more hands are needed, go ahead and get them.
In fact there was nothing else to do.. A "big" payout request was made (which is manually verified and processed) and that verification was made within minutes. That was why that scandal was a little bit inappropriate

As a new user I am entitled to a bonus of up to 1 Btc but the bonus is only given after achieving a certain number of loyalty points.
If my balance reaches zero and if I do more deposits am I still entitled to get more loyalty points in order to complete the bonus requirements?
I am sorry for this delay replying your question. If that happens you can re-deposit the number of times you need, the only thing that would break your bonus is just a withdrawal and not deposits.
