There is no civil war. There are some government actors planted in bitcoin ecosystem that do everything they can to generate noise and prevent accelerated bitcoin adoption.

Funny thing is that ppl seem to want to keep a civilized debate going while "they" spread FUD and discord and plant demolition charges in the basement.

I vote for holy war, with the battle cry of 1MBFOREVAH!

Would you say?

You posted the ultimate buy the dip chart, although the numbers aren't quite right...

I think so, in fact I hold PM too, but a trend reversal would take ending the price fixing shenanigans, which is far from likely, given that even the major stackers of physical are taking advantage from it.

gold and silver which are superior stores of value

You would say?

just to support my idea:

Your chart shows that even being so lucky to sell at the very top along the channel and buy at the very bottom every single time the gains would be scarce, while the risk of missing a buy and being left behind would be great.

Selling some along the way up is wise, but then do not count on being able to jump back on the train at a discount later.

This is not a children fight, BU is a very bad update for Bitcoin.

It's an inside job.

Hey a-ads, why don't you add an option to be paid in altcoins (like LTC or whatever)?
That's because I've only a low traffic blog so my payments make just dust in my wallet.
Thx.

what about people that earn money through ways that would not be possible without Bitcoin?

The question is about your attitude about the bitcoins that you have (whatever the amount), not how did you earn them.
If you spend/convert them all in fiat at the same time that you gain them and so you hold no bitcoin at all I would not even define you as a bitcoiner.

BTC at 10500$ (10x) would require just 6.9 billion per year to buy the annual production (657k coins x 10.5k usd).
Silver at 170$ (10x) would require 136 billion per year to buy the annual mining output of ~800mn oz.

very interesting.
Thx

it will get critical at gold parity (1 ounce is 31.1 grams):

Why 1337 $ ??
For me will be a little lower than 1100

what matters is to top the previous high.
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 01, 2017, 06:30:21 PM
All I know is, once they default on the debt, gold will probably be in the $20,000-$25,000 an ounce range, and silver should see even higher percentage gains.

In 2008 gold crashed hard (from 972 to 732 $/ounce) with everything else, before hitting an ATH later (1837 $ in 2011). I would not exclude a similar 2-step move.

So have fun creating your useless "anarchist" team of defenseless idiots, while I form my team and destroy you and the Marxists at the same time.

You can enslave only those who value their freedom less than their lives. And slaves are not so productive (witness the ever lower growth economies of the ever more tax-enslaved), and they might even revolt at some point.

Looks like the US is heading towards a constitutional crisis at best and armed clashes between civilians at worst. Question remains how BTC would react in such a scenario? It's not a given that prices would rise imo.

If the Donald is the fall guy as I suspect, the plan is to pull the plug and blame him, that is: stop printing/raise rates and let everything default (in order to reset the system while buying all for peanuts). The price of almost all assets should crash then -but gold price should remain very resilient. Then we'll see if BTC really works as digital gold. For the moment it seems to have no correlation with gold price: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-gold-prices-correlated/

What if there were so many torturers that they could use shifts

Funny that you don't realize that you are already in a gulag run by torturers. They already extort you of >50% of whatever you produce (see taxation as a fraction of GDP in the west). They find difficult to go for more just because we have already passed the peak of the Laffer curve.
And that's the why of demonetization/war on cash.
776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 29, 2017, 06:44:17 PM
If the state has the power to take everything from you, I'm not sure how useful a bitcoin brain wallet is gonna be while you're hammering rocks in the gulag.

to buy anything in the gulag's black market? Maybe a ticket to the outside too.
777  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 29, 2017, 01:40:23 PM
But btc? It's just... An idea. It worth nothing more than what people are willing to pay for this idea.

What could be worth the only thing in the universe that the state cannot take from you?

please name at least one "socialist" measure, law, decree by the nazis or that touched the very core difference  between socialistic/communistic and capitalistic ideology and that is the question of private ownership. the nazis never touched it. they were no socialists at all.

Hitler finds out how money is created (funny joke, up to a point)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G28rz9AT8VM

They actually put the state in charge of the production of money/credit (point 5 of the manifesto of the communist party by Marx, Engels).

fact is:

-hitler was in bed with big high finance.

- while the bolshevik jews sent from New York like Lev Bronstein and that other famous guy with a fake name too sent to revolutionize  Russia on an armored train from Switzerland loaded with gold and money were not in bed with high finance, right?

please name at least one "socialist" measure, law, decree by the nazis or that touched the very core difference  between socialistic/communistic and capitalistic ideology and that is the question of private ownership. the nazis never touched it. they were no socialists at all.

What matters is the degree of power of the state on the individual and its penetration in the private sphere. Anything else is a show for the fools.

maybe that the hacked bitfinex coins started moving?
https://www.reddit.com/user/MrChrisJ

Wo-wo-woah!  What effect is that likely to have?

If they could dump them a crash, but I doubt very much that they can dump the most of them easily in a short while. Now even the use of mixers is considered a proof of laundering.
