I want to set up a masternode as well. It looks like a majority are set up at Amazon and in the US. Where should I set it up to benefit the network/coin the most? Or does that not matter?
Outside the US would already be great.

For example, if you want to send 1 DRK, send successively 0.34 DRK, 0.33 DRK and 0.33 DRK to make 3 transactions using DarkSend.
I understand... I did exactly as you said. But somehow I get those errors, as mentioned before, again. You do this when you see "waiting for more entries" ?

When trying to do a transfer with DarkSend I get the following error: darkSend Satus => ERROR : masternode switched, please resubmit
After that I try it again and I get errors: Couldn't find a confirmed unspend output equal to 10DRK. This shouldn't happen, please report to developers.
and Error: Transaction creation failed! Am I doing something wrong or is this is a bug? Please PM eduffield. In case it's a bug, he needs to know This means the masternode switched while you were waiting for a match (it happens every 25 minutes on average). Currently the client isn't smart enough to retry, but I'll have this fixed in RC3, plus lots of more neat stuff that I'm keeping secret I had this error for 3 or 4 times. Retrying didn't help... I think something else was the problem. I just opened darkcoin-qt again and now I got a message to check my machines time. I installed Win8 on a Macbook with VMware Fusion and the time was somehow incorrect. Just tried it again and my DarkSend transaction is waiting for more entries... Awesome! Still doesn't seem to work. It's waiting for more entries (1/3) and after a while the status bumps back to idle and the transaction is not finished. Darksend needs a minimum of 2 other transactions (2+1) to process. As it is still the RC version there are not many people using it simultaneously. So a workaround can be to divide the amount in 3 and send them to the address successively using DarkSend. Thanks Kai. But if I try a 2nd transaction to the same address I get the same error as above (first goes well). I also get this error, when I make a DarkSend transfer within 10-15 seconds after opening darkcoin-qt. Can it has something to do with the number of connections I have? For example, if you want to send 1 DRK, send successively 0.34 DRK, 0.33 DRK and 0.33 DRK to make 3 transactions using DarkSend.

DONT BUY IN PEOPLE!!.. duh !!
Who the hell is buying in like that? Pumpers... again, same deal, different Friday!
He who wants masternodes, has his DRK's hot and ready. Real big ass investors will WAIT until after 14th, for proof it works, issues etc. The rest is whales circling the news and creating weekend tension.
And what if it's 0.0075 and rising at the end of the week ? lol Remorse or regret ?

I stop mining there EVRYBODY IS HAVING PROBLEMS ON EVERY POOL . now iam solo mining Try to mine with p2pool. ...and then RC2 comes along and breaks it. He will change then, but now seems to me like a better choice than solo mining.

I summarize the previous posts : "Go to a multipool let me mine some darkcoins alone".

chaeplin it would be handy if your masternode count page listed the actual masternodes by IP. Because this would save me valuable seconds each day logging in to mine to see if they are still alive. edit: or would this just provide a convenient list for DDOSers? Yes so no IP please ... The information is out there for anybody to read anyways! just use darkcoind masternode list and there you have the IPs same goes for the information of the current MN with darkcoind masternode current Someone could just do the same thing chaeplin has done with darkcoind masternode count here ( http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html) for a dynamic list of the masternodes. You can monitor the current masternode for each block and output it on a website. So anyone can see which was the Masternode for which block. Like blockchain.info does with the bitcoin blocks and which pool mined them. I know but why make it easy for them I may be wrong, but the daemon itself lists the masternodes, so... not really that stealthy anyhow. It would be cool to be able to mask the public IP, no doubt. Yes, they just have to type "masternode list" and they can see all the IP, but they have to use darkcoin-qt or darkcoind and that's one step that they would like to avoid. If somebody posts the list, everyone including the laziest can "participate" effortless.

Bit of a tradeoff security wise though, I prefer keeping my wallets separate, with separate passwords, in separate physical locations, with separate backups. Guarded by separate assault-crocodiles. Then again I'm both paranoid and inept. I just have regular crocodiles. Where do you get them trained to become assault crocs? WI? My regimen includes forced viewing of X Factor and daily injections of supplemental crocosterone, about 300mg/half-ton of bodymass. Mine are in very cold storage and guarded by : remarkable resemblance to my ex girlfriend. she was a 15 - 20 pinter. Only 20 ...
