In Satoshi whitepaper, he created  Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System as form digital currency, this technology has evolved with lots of critism that had survived from the hands of traditional finance body, politics and other firms that has seen cryptocurrency as an opponent that will disrupt their centralized financial system.
However, individuals and group of people (scammers) has a way to take advantage of ignorance and tricks to swindle investor and amateur their live savings by promising high returns. They are saturated in every social network( YouTube, Facebook channels /groups, WhatsApp e.t.c), bitcointalk forum is not excluded.

You often see comments like:

Cryptocurrency space is vast with lots of folks with common interest ( sole aim to make profits) but we must also realize that for business to grow, we have to make schedule maintenance. We must protect the investors from getting discourage, change their misconceptions about bitcoin and other digital currency. This protection start as an individual, not just financial body as SEC.

Theymos sees future in this community despite different hack attacks, it was still revived. Thanks to him. This space must be well conserve for the future.
As a bitcointalk soldier who has always prove to keep the good reputation of this forum and help beginners, what can you do to safeguard  this Ecosystem?

In addition to what OP posted, there are similar  websites out there that promised to pay btc when you watch dozen of videos on their website and refer friends, it's disappointing at the end after wasting your monthly data subscription on videos without getting paid.
It was down on me when I noticed the videos were actually linked to YouTube channel to gain views.
There is nothing like free money or bitcoin, you either work for it infom of service or invest your own money for it.

765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why there are too many topics related to Crypto Scams here? on: August 09, 2020, 12:45:30 PM
Unfortunately, matters related to deception are not present here. They are everywhere, in every location, and in every forum that contains beginners. These people are new to the field they enter in and they have no experience. That is why fraudsters exploit them using many forms of fraud, the most important way. The temptation to speak and persuade as the impostor persuades the novice that he will pay him large sums in exchange for clicking on a specific link or downloading a specific application.
Greed and been ignorance are things that cannot be separated from a novice in this field, it's either they possess one or the both. What they failed to understand is, there is no free money on the internet and crypto space. It's either you invest or work for it.
766  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] - How to use different order types. on: August 08, 2020, 11:17:29 AM

Market order vs limit order
Be it high or low market cap, limit order is the best option because you will be the one to set the price yourself and you can adjust it to a price your order will be completed in time.
It's not about large/ low market cap, it's order book and volume, It can happen to bitcoin or any other coins when trading.
All order type has merits and Demerits depend how and when you use it. There are certain trade that you can not use Limits order type especially when market is crashing(This happens when price dump within minutes). You will end up with huge loss and your order will not be executed.
Sometimes, limit order got jumpout even if you set it before a pump or dump.
Quote
There was a day I used market order to trade digibyte, the current price was at $0.0023 at the time but the order was placed at $0.19, this also happened to me when I purchase curio, and both were great losses for me. So, I am not using market order again. Using the limit order is the better for someone not to lose much funds while trading coins.

You have to used market order when necessary, March black Friday came to my mind when BTC flash crash to 3.6k, limit sell order isn't the best such period.
