Just set my account, BURST-BWJ6-KJFE-M3CP-4XYW6
-ANNOUNCEMENT-

The pool at http://mine.burstcoin.info needs miners. There is also an asset you can buy into there that will provide you with extra income. The connection was killed at a very unfortunate time, and thus the pool lost quite a few of it's miners. Now I am going to do this in order to get some back! So, here goes...

The next 25 miners to join the pool, PM me with their burst address, and wait for me to see them on the list of stats on the pool, will be sent 1,500 burst!

The 25 after that to do the same thing, will receive 1,000 burst.

The 25 after that will receive 750 burst.

We will start with that, and see how it goes. I am more than willing to do more giveaways.

The pool server has been solid now for a good while since the incident with the storm, and we shouldn't be experiencing issues like that again. So, let's get our power back and become the pool that we can be!

**Note, I also have another pool that's unofficially related to this pool, but it's private and no fee, and located in the US. If you're interested in that pool you can PM me. Not sure how long it will stick around, or if I will merge with the other pool, it all depends on the miner count and blocks found, etc.**

Just set my account , already PMd you my address...

Got the PM thanks I already sent you your 1500!

Just so that everyone knows there are 13 people already taken me up on my giveaway, that means 12 left for the 1500.

Maybe if I'm feeling nice after the first 25, I'll do 1500 for the next 25 as well. We'll see how it goes!

Thank you everyone!

I'll give your pool another shot...sending 25TB your way...

Much appreciated good sir. I am going on my lunch break at work right now, so I will be gone for an hour or so, so don't think I disappeared, I'm still here, just at lunch, and I will reply when I get back to anyone who messages me during my lunch, check the stats then send payments for all who took me up on my offer. Thanks!

Just set my reassignement to test your pool  Cool

771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: October 07, 2014, 08:11:36 AM
Hello,
I do not understand why I am unable to use yacminer.
/

 -R 2560 -g 1  --buffer-size 2560 --lookup-gap 8

5*280x
1*7870
8Gb Memory

YACoin N=16 today!

you overrun your GPU's memory with these settings! (R= far too high)
Perhaps these settings work earlier with lower N value but really not with N16.
Look N tables what tell how much memory N16 need for one calc then you know what is perhaps ok R with lookupgap 8 and your buffer size (your buffer size is ok for 3Gb GPU's).

Also this may give some help http://www.ultracoin.net/configgen_raw.html
(remember select N16)

Btw...how fast hashing you expect with R9 280x with N16?

[/quote]

Many thanks, but buffer don't work  Sad
What is the correct hashrate for 280x ?
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: October 06, 2014, 06:57:39 PM
Hello,
I do not understand why I am unable to use yacminer.
Even my old .Bat do not want to work.
I use this bat:

Quote
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
yacminer --scrypt-chacha -d 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.m-s-t.org:3333 -u xx -p xx -R 2560 -g 1  --buffer-size 2560 --lookup-gap 8 --worksize 256 --gpu-engine 1020 --gpu-memclock 1500 --temp-cutoff 95 --gpu-fan 0-100 --auto-gpu --temp-target 85 --temp-overheat 95

5*280x
1*7870
8Gb Memory

anyone have an idea?
Thanks

Edit : ok it's works without "--buffer-size" but 450h for a 280x.
How to choose my buffer size ?
Thanks

Hey guys, would like to tell you all that we are also working on an android wallet. An IOS wallet will also be released later. On our IRC channel, we have someone that has experience in IOS app development and will be helping us with an IOS wallet.

Very good !

thank you
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | New version 1.1.3 on: September 28, 2014, 11:03:43 PM
Hello
I just tested burstminer r4 Linux
Under windows I could see what was going and on linux nothing.
I even tried to set a bad link for the plots and no warning.
Nothing can monitor on linux?

Don't work for me

There must be something else?  Huh
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | New version 1.1.2 on: September 25, 2014, 04:19:45 PM

For test try https://www.dropbox.com/s/85cequgcmlonc6z/miner-burst.zip?dl=0

miner.exe pool burst-pool2.cryptoport.io 80 c:\plots\ d:\plots\ ...

Totally missed this...  Huh Is it your tool? Does it work on Dev2's pool? How is the preferance overall? Does it handle memory better than the java miner? Should one run one instance for each plot dir or will it do as well including several dirs?

I was just about to replace my last windows installs with ubuntu.

Have to try it when I get home. If it works well, the coder can expect a donation Smiley

Thanks! Smiley

Is it your tool?  -  based at dcct code, but some recoded.
Does it work on Dev2's pool?  - Yes, but testing now, download new version https://www.dropbox.com/s/3ah0se62uvz1n8t/miner.exe?dl=0 (delete some bugs for V2)
Does it handle memory better than the java miner?  - Yes
Should one run one instance for each plot dir or will it do as well including several dirs?  -  1 miner for several dirs

This version is ok for special caracters ?
