Site and video look fantastic and the news with Rev2 is very exciting good work. I really think the video will help attract people to this coin. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I wish I could take more advantage and stack some xc at the current prices.
As much as I love this video, we are definitely gonna need a much more simplified one for normal folks at some point. If i showed that to any of my friends or family they wouldn't have a clue what it was about. |

Hi all The advent of trustless mixing in Rev 2 is, of course, a major landmark in the history of cryptocurrency. But we have another surprise for you today. You'll be very happy to know that secure private messaging has in fact been completed for some time, and around the end of this week we will invite the community to begin testing it! Secure private messaging represents the beginnings of Bitcoin 2.0 technology, as it extends its functionality beyond that of merely processing payments. When the foundation of XC's architecture - the Rev 1 Xnode - was being built, it was necessary for its broadcasting system to be encrypted to prevent snooping on transactions. And since an encrypted communication system is at the heart of an xnode, it's straightforward enough to exapt it for users to communicate. This, in brief, is how secure private messaging works in XC. Secure private messaging is not Rev 2. The test build we will release does not have trustless mixing in it. (After all, when you're testing for something, it makes little sense to combine a second unknown into the equation.) The two will be merged when testing on both is complete. Secure private messaging will not affect our schedule to bring Rev 2 onto the mainnet, as it's completed already. We need a testing team. If you'd like to try out XC's very, very private messaging, download it around the end of the week and give it a shot. We can't wait to give you a chance to play around with it. Where the instruction to launch xnode for REV2?
Which port is open for the router? Write instruction!
Your wallet is automatically an xnode, you don't need to do anything but have you wallet unlocked and staking. I presume now that you dont need to have a certain amount of XC to be an xnode then? |

The quality is a bit on the low side, but for the rest it is alright.
Agreed, resolution is not correct for the twitter update -- it comes out a bit blurry. This should be fixed. The new look overall, however, is amazing! Yeah resolution is too low and it needs resizing as you cant read half the writing. Overall design is nice though |

what i dont get, is why people with lots of (relatively) expensive DRK, would rather try and FUD up XC, when they could just get a shitload of (relatively) cheap XC, and reap the benefits in the near future. I basically don't get the FUD thing... if you are scared something is better than what you have.... get involved in the other thing that is looking better....  |

From a non tech point of view, i just want to know XC's aren't going missing, and if they are, its being looked at. And would simply like to know how far along we are with actually being anon. From my point of view these things are still a bit vague.
Im in it for the long term too, and just because I havewn't been posting much, doesnt mean I haven't been reading every post in this thread.
Whats happening with the new logo and PR team that was mentioned last week?
I suppose the best we can do right now is offer to help and see if ATC agrees to community assitance with PR, Logo, ect. I am willing to offer some of my time to do what I can. I agree. Though at some point last week one user offered his services doing the PR/Marketing side of things, and dev replied that he has a PR team in place and will give us an update later on that day (possibly end of last week) (sorry, too many pages to sift through to quote right now) that is correct, and the logo winner was decided ysterday/today so expect to hear PR news in the next couple of days I thought thrash won it last week? Anyway thats good news. Are you part of the dev team by the way? |

I understand the Dev is busy but is there no one else on the team that could possibly give us the occasional update? All ive seen in this thread lately (other than Dev occasional brief updates) is talk of coins being taken by xnodes and the opposition saying "idiot" back. Im a noob when it comes to code so actually have absolutely no clue what is going on with this coin anymore.
