Someone should really forge this question into an application.
Fill in adress Fill in amount Ping blockchain Get transactions costs.
Would that work?
I think most wallets already do it, don't? Yeah, most wallets have a fee estimation built in. Electrum has one called Dynamic Fees and I find that it works quite well.

Yeah, it sounds like CoinBase hasn't sent the coins yet. If they have, they should be able to provide a transaction ID which you could use to verify that the funds have been transferred.

In case you do need to convert between the two formats in the future, bitaddress.org supports providing both formats under Wallet Details. I'd recommend only doing this offline for security purposes.

The link you provided is loading without issues for me at this time. Perhaps it was a temporary error? Is it working for you now?

Though as you've said, hard fork has a fairly low chance of pushing through, it is always a good approach to have a plan when it happened. Thanks for providing the document and the instructions are simple enough to follow. This will be very helpful to all the Electrum users moving forward. Percentage of blocks signalling Bitcoin Unlimited support hit 44% within the last week which is pretty close to 51%, but it hasn't been sustained and its down to about 35% now. There is still certainly a possibility of it happening so its good to prepare whatever the chances may be.

I am against it as a Bitcoin user. If you are like me and have many exchanges like Yobit,Poloniex etc then I don't suggest it. Not that I am against it but I found the best way is to put all your passwords in a protected word document and then archive it with Winrar. Use a password with at least 20 characters including special characters Uppercase and Numbers which only make sense to you and store it in D: E: F: whatever your second partition is called. Also keep it in at least 2 usb-s one 3.0 speed, one 2.0 speed. I never lose a password this way even when I have to format my PC.
We have similar method mate. I used to have password manager as well before, but the issue I had is that if they breached your master password all your password will be comprised. That's why I backup all my password not in a word document, but in a excel file. Because excel file for me is easy to use because I can create separate tabs for different password in about any site I have an account to and put additional information in there like here in forum, my user profile link, my wallet address, my current signature campaign and password or rank is saved in a spreadsheet. A word or excel document is much less secure than most password managers. Passwords for Rar or Zip files are much easier to be cracked and lack anti-brute force protections. Additionally, these passwords are completely unencrypted while the document is open. Password Managers such as Keepass can encrypt while in memory and slow brute force attempts against your master password.

If you do delete, just keep in mind that it could possibly be recovered unless you do a secure delete. So if you intend to continue using those addresses, be careful what you do with the drive that was storing the wallet.

i'm a keepass (keepassx) user myself... There are vulnerabilitys found from time to time, but at least, the encrypted password file isn't stored in the cloud... +1 for Keepass. It's a local password manager so its only stored on your PC so it's less likely to be compromised. It also has an autotype feature that works without the need for a browser extension which tend to have the most security flaws. I've seen issues with the extensions for LastPass and 1Password as well recently so avoiding a browser plugin is probably a good idea.

Mine is usually impulsive. I don't set aside a certain time and sometimes just feel like gambling so I do some.

Chasing losses is probably one of the easiest mistakes to fall into and has definitely gotten me in trouble sometimes as it causes you to put more on the line than you intended to.

Congratulations to the winner you do your best .. in gambling you can win or lose and if you are lucky your good . you cannot sure your win in gambling because you spend a lot of money.. If i win 300btc the 200btc i will saved to my wallet and 100btc in gambling because its good to saved money than play all money in gambling.
Bitdice seems to be good dice and roll gambling here. Simply he can put his 100$ and he can gambling. Please do not use Autobot option when you gamble using big amounts. Last we saw 100 btc winner also. Best of luck for the bitdice casino members. So far I have used .0.03 btc in gambling but I lost all using auto bot option in dice. Is there any option to win frequent? Please suggest. You just need some luck in order to win frequently. The auto bot option is good if you want to bet quickly or try different strategies and doesn't change your chances of winning. It just allows more bets in a smaller amount of time.

Thanks for writing up the documentation on how to split coins. It looks like a fairly straight forward process in case the split happens soon.

So, is an electrum server always a full Bitcoin node?
No, it is not. It all depends on how it is configured. Specifically the limit of spent transactions that are kept track of and pruning settings. According to the documentation: Electrum server uses leveldb to store transactions. You can choose how many spent transactions per address you want to store on the server. The default is 100, but there are also servers with 1000 or even 10000. Few addresses have more than 10000 transactions. A limit this high can be considered equivalent to a "full" server.

If anyone had a way to get into this account, the real question is, would they just take the 1 Bitcoin, or would they use the exploit to compromise other accounts? I guess it depends on what color hat they wear. Well, you'd still need the account passwords for other accounts in order to compromise them even if you could bypass it. I would think the 1 BTC would be taken if someone was able to. But did it not get hacked into and that guy stole 38 BTC from the site's wallet? But that was using the bct talk account password to retrieve access to the casino bank wallet. So that attempt didn't count am I correct? Or is that totally something different all together with doing something completely illegal? I think it ended up with the owner paying out those funds out to people who's funds were lost in the hack. It was all very confusing because it spilled over from an accusation thread against that use and into the campaign thread going back and forth. That isn't accurate. 38 btc was not stolen from the site's wallet in any hack. You'll need to re-read that accusation thread for more information regarding that but nothing was stolen from the site's wallet.

Guys, what would your opinion be, for leverage investment option ?
I think leverage investment is a good idea. A lot of sites seem to offer this method of investment. Although it seems that a lot of users just use the max leverage so it may not make a ton of difference if everyone does that. But it lets users choose how much they want to risk which is pretty nice. It will definetely increase our max profit limit! Oh yeah, I forgot about that benefit. That is definitely a good reason to look into it. Increased max win is always a great thing to have!

While this person is obviously an extreme gambler, that doesn't mean that it's wrong for them to be betting on things. It might well be that this person is wealthy enough to genuinely afford to lose such a large amount of money.
Yep, when you are a high roller, you can lose big but you also have the chance to win quite big in a fast manner with some luck. These high rollers usually have a large enough balance to to wager at a higher level. You see this all the time in normal physical casinos as well. For more wealthy people, it takes higher stakes to get the same adrenaline rush.

If you don't have it then to hack it you need to guess what it is. Is it soley the private key that someone needs to guess to unlock your funds? Or are both required together? Yeash, that is the only one. Though guessing it is a really hard task, it is a combination of letters, capital letters and numbers. With a lot of this numbers, letters and capital letters it is really hard to guess it has many combinations. Yeah, only the private key is needed to unlock funds in an address. With a private key, you can derive the public key, but you can't derive a private key from someone's public key.

Creating your own web wallet would be a huge undertaking and isn't something that is going to happen overnight.Costs will include web hosting costs for server(s) and if you don't have coding skills, you would also have to hire a developer. This could add up quite quick depending on how long it takes to make. Then you have to also consider the security risks of such a project.
Something like this is really meant for a team of people and I don't think it is a wise undertaking for a single individual.

Also, I believe the negative amount you showed in the screenshot simply means it was an outbound transaction and it deducted that amount from your wallet. Your actual balance didn't appear to be negative in that case.

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback!!!
Now, I like to do some betting. Without questioning the KYC process, how can an exchange block someone if funds are coming from gambling?
Is there some morality behind those decisions of blocking funds? It is not money for drugs, porn, or any other illicits activities.
As far as I understood most of the big exchanges are based in USA and they have Las Vegas....
Basically if they have that kind of rule is because in then end there is no decentralisation.
Coinbase is definitely anti-gambling and they are based in the USA. I think the issues is that gambling legality in the states is pretty complicated and only allowed in certain areas due to certain rules. They tend to not allow online gambling in a lot of areas. If you plan to gamble and use an exchange, make sure that you either mix your coins using something like bitmixer or use a site that uses a unique address for every transaction and isn't trackable by exchanges. You can also send to an intermediary address of your own to add some extra steps in the transaction history.
