762  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Bitcorp Mining Company - BTCMC 60+ GH/s, clear ASIC upgrade path. on: January 03, 2013, 08:33:07 PM
I sent my info in on the 6th Dec & got this reply "Thank you.  Keep an eye on the thread for more info, and we should have this resolved in the next 2 weeks. "

It's now 4 weeks & even allowing for the holidays some update should be given as to why this is taking over twice as long as planned. Huh

I have received 3 different lists and am attempting to cross reference and verify which listings are accurate.
You should have received a "final" list from Nefario, This is the list containing all the info in his database this should be your reference list.
//DeaDTerra

Like I said, I have several in hand, including the one he claims in Final.

I have confirmed the majority of the persons on the list, but am still hoping a few stragglers get their info in soon.

Once we hit 80%, accrued dividends will be paid out and the claims process will be closed.

Subsequent to that, once ASIC mining begins in earnest a new dividend policy will be established to fit the new realities of mining.
This list should contain all the same people as the previous versions but also the people who haven't claimed and who haven't paid the double payment.
If it doesn't then somethings wrong with that list.
Okay good Smiley

763  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] LIF.A, LIF.B, LIF.CX, and LIF.M on: January 03, 2013, 08:31:59 PM
Interestingly enough, I was researching some companies in the Lansing area earlier this week, and came across one with an address very, very similar to this one, which purports to be a legit company doing business with the automotive industry. The hook is that the president of the company is supposedly named "Satoshi Nakamoto"!

One wonders if perhaps Perp Lambert has branched out into a much larger scale of scam?

I will be taking a field trip for more details soon. I would love to bring a sense of justice to his other scams.

I just happened to be glancing back at the forum after some time away, this supposition seems rather far-fetched. You can check google maps, that address is in a residential neighborhood, I don't know why other businesses would have anything anywhere near it. And I have never used the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" before.

I was never contacted by Nefario at any point, I was trying to figure out how to liquidate the remaining assets (which unfortunately were not worth much) when the accounts were frozen and the assets removed from the now defunct GLBSE.

Interesting that one of the loudest detractors was shakaru even as he was swindling me out of hundreds of bitcoins. I am not one to point fingers (and I guess I was way too trusting), but evidence came out after all this that he had stolen hundreds of bitcoins from other people as well.

Hey Peter? Since you are clearly still lurking here- how about a little restitution to your victims you scamming piece of garbage?

If only there was a way for me to know who to send restitution to? Seems that the GLBSE has disappeared.

this is your excuse? are you serious? we can help you with that you know.

HAHAHAH this makes me laugh
Don't come here after this much time has passed and blame it on the GLBSE crash. At least man up and admit you were the one who fucked it up, way back in the day. Don't blame this on some  recent event because that's just bullshit.

764  Economy / Securities / Re: SatoshiDICE Passthrough? on: January 03, 2013, 07:46:41 PM

It just seems like a dumb concept that's pretty much guaranteed to lose money. Don't know why someone would think it's a good investment.
How is it a dumb concept and your bound to lose money?
Sure there's always a risk involved but if S.DICE has another 20 of the last month in profit wise then you will have made back the money you invested into it.
I think that Satoshi dice is one of the more sensible investments that currently exist for Bitcoins.
//DeaDTerra

I misread the OP as to be talking about a betting passthrough, not one through the official investment asset on MPEx. My apologies.
No problems Smiley

A dividend of 110.82 BTC was paid to 644064 shares.
Making a dividend after the fee of 0.00016346 BTC per share Smiley
For the people who chose BTCTC it will be held in a offline wallet and for the people who chose BitFunder it will be paid out later tonight.

Back when GLBSE was up, I had invested in a passthrough for SatoshiDICE. Now that I have fully regained my composure (and bitcoins) from its crash, I am looking for investment opportunities, specifically with SatoshiDICE. I don't like the idea of using MPEX though. Is there an existing passthrough/is someone willing to make one?
GSDPT is up and running on BitFunder, You can purchase shares there Smiley

Yep list has been received and I will be listing on BitFunder later on in the week Smiley

772  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Gamma SatoshiDICE Pass Through on: January 02, 2013, 09:40:14 PM
Yeah, I still don't even see it in the list of securities awaiting approval. Guess I should have gone with the other exchange.

'Tis the season.  I'm willing to bet DeaDTerra's just been busy.

I hope to see it setup soon.  I'm itching for some shares myself.

Yeah, he apparently had no problem getting it set up on bitfunder.

And I got caught wondering why one of my suppliers was closed on both Dec 31st and Jan 1st. "WTF, closed? Oh yeah, some stupid holiday." Same thing happened at Christmas.
Indeed I have been very busy sorry about that Smiley
BitFunder Jon basicly fixed it for me and helped me out, that's why it was up quicker ^^
Also for BTCTC I had to fill in massive amounts of info so I have been procrastinating it.
I will get to it soon though.
What happens with people that owns Gamma SatoshiDice PT shares and haven't received
any email yet? I PM'd you and have no answer. Could you make an aditiona "check" of the
list Nefario sent you?
Thanks
We are going to resync the claim list tonight and all people who didn't receive and email should receive one soon.

773  Economy / Securities / Re: [Investment fund] Gamma Bitcoin Fund [Closing] on: January 02, 2013, 06:36:24 PM
I am aware we may not reach 100%, but at least I believe you will try to keep it going with dividends as long as possible.
Of course, if I can't liquidate the assets then all dividends paid by that asset automatically goes to GBF as it's owned by GBF.
I will do my very best to maximize the amount liquidated.
//DeaDTerra
774  Economy / Securities / Re: [Investment fund] Gamma Bitcoin Fund [Closing] on: January 02, 2013, 05:46:49 PM
Great. Thank you for the update.

When are you thinking about making a payout?
When we reach a substantial amount of Bitcoins, as I do the payouts manually doing them every say 50 Bitcoins will be a hassle for me, so I will wait until we have a couple of hundred BTC then send them out.

Great update, thanks DeadTerra.
Those shares which you have no way to sell, you can just leave them in your portfolio and they can make dividends for all GBF shareholders, until everything will be paid off.
As example, I can put myself - I received back ONLY 5.26% funds I paid in to Gamma Bitcoind Fund. I can wait longer to get my all money back if you cannot sell some shares.
No problems Smiley thanks for the patience.
Indeed that was the intention to funnel the dividends to the paybacks for GBF.
As I have stated previously, the amount you will get back is the amount I can liquidate or receive from dividends, I can't promise 100% nor do I believe we can achieve 100% payback. Just wanted to make that clear.

What about dividends, will they be added to the balances of the trading site we decide upon?
Dividends will be paid out once all/a big majority of the shares has been claimed.
//DeaDTerra

Looks like over 95% of shares have been claimed now (a quick mental add-up came to about 317k of 322k - which I'm pretty sure is a big majority by any definition).  So will you be paying out the old dividends at same time as December's one?

Over 95% of the IPO shares have been sold on MPEX now too!   4% left Smiley

I was referring to 95% of the already sold shares (from GLBSE) having been claimed.  DeadTerra can't sell new shares yet  - until he's paid the dividends he collected whilst GLBSE was down (as those have to go only to the shares sold when the dividends were paid).

There's very little on the market on BitFunder - there WAS a 100k sell order up at .0036 but that got pulled soon after the announcement of the fat dividends for December.  Now there's just a few k up - cheapest were at .0035 last time I looked.
Actually I can, as I have setup with BitFunder so that when the shares are claimed so is the last months dividenend Smiley
So I can sell new shares on Bitfunder without a problem.
That order was mine Smiley, I pulled it because the volume on the asks on MPEX was low so I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to honor the backing without a lose.
If anyone wants to buy bigger volumes of shares it's best done by contacting me.
Happy new year everyone!

It looks like this is now up and trading on BitFunder, is the plan still to also have it traded on BTCT.co?
Indeed i do Smiley
I have just been a bit lazy with holidays and stuff so I haven't gotten it running yet.
Sorry about this, it should be up in the next couple of days Smiley

779  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Should Giga be tagged as a scammer? on: December 27, 2012, 12:37:15 PM
I don't think GigaVPS deserves a scammer tag.
He has done the best out of a bad situation, instead of shutting down his business or backing away from his contract he has tried to keep following it while not taking any more risks. He has done this by going the legal way in his country and you can't blame him for trying to make the best out off this situation.
I also don't understand what giving him a scammer tag will help?
He's no longer selling any shares and considering all the drama he never will never try to issue and asset again, the people who could get hurt have gotten hurt.
Giga is trust able and hasn't actively stolen, he's still here and he's still helping his share holders out.
A scammer tag will probably hurt more then it will help at the moment.

But it will be done sooner or later, I have regular contact with James (gigaVPS) so once I get the documents ready it shouldn't take that much time Smiley
