761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fastest Way To Cashout Alot of Bitcoins on: April 06, 2015, 04:42:21 PM
This thread is pissing me off. Why does anyone care if he is telling the truth?

Give him advice so we can all learn. Or don't. Anything else is noise.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Interest... again on: April 05, 2015, 06:38:04 PM
The interest in Bitcoin is stagnant from exactly one year!
Just do a google trend research...
What would you think it is needend to comeback interest on Bitcoin???

Interest in bitcoin has grown for the past year. We cannot judge the interest in bitcoin by its price.

I was reading a review yesterday about bitcoin's "performance" last month:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1011563
(Looking Back On March: A Month In Review)

There are encouraging news all around the world and they get brushed aside because price hasn't risen. I truly believe bitcoin could be successful at any price level, $200 or $800, as long as price is stable.

He isn't judging interest by price. He is judging by how many people search for it on Google.
763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fastest Way To Cashout Alot of Bitcoins on: April 04, 2015, 12:23:50 AM
for someone to own that amount of btc, he/she should or would already know about exchanges, buying. selling, trading.... the owner would've done some home work & why a "friend" newbie in the forum is asking all the questions ?

if it's legal then why worry ?

why wouldn't he know ? the 25k btc fell from the sky ?

prove, show us proof .

He could have acquired that many back in the day when they were nothing and then forgot about them. Why are you so hostile? What is it to you?

A suggestion I have is to buy Gold with Bitcoins. Then sell the Gold face to face whenever you like. A number of websites sell gold for Bitcoin.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: April 01, 2015, 01:48:59 AM
22 people own more than 1 million bitcoin, seems legit.

Of course, your numbers are nonsense, but even if they were correct, 22 people with $10 million is nothing. There are tens pf thousands of people in the U.S. with over $10 million. I don't know why you are singling out 22 of them and implying that Bitcoin has a problem.

No he is pointing out the imposibility that 22 people each own 1,000,000 Bitcoins. Because only 14 million exist.
765  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: April 01, 2015, 01:15:21 AM
I got a question for the ones that is waiting for $100/BTC..
what would you guys do if the price dropped approx $2 a day until it hits $100? will you still buy it?  Grin

Then no I wouldn't buy then. I would wait until it corrected itself and buy when it starts going back up.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 31, 2015, 01:11:47 AM
Good luck is all I have to say. If it does hit one hundred a coin, I imagine before it hits that point, people will go around buying in bulk as much as they can. Will probably increase the price before it can hit that low of a point. Looking at current trends, I doubt it will ever go that low. At 200ish, was the time to buy. Small profits at this point, but it will increase in the future being at such a low point.

This professional financial advice brought to you by Gyfts. Seriously, we should tell the other millions of investors in the world that Gyfts says the bull market is in!
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 29, 2015, 06:08:18 PM
Don't you dipsticks get it? You guys have had a blind optimism of the price all the way down from $1000. It wasn't 6 months ago you people were making the same arguments about every $100 shift.

"There's no way it can go below $500! Buy now while it's half off!"

The irony is that some of you dumb mother fs, who bought at $500+ are calling me monkey brained for waiting for the price to fall lower..

Maby I'm wrong but I'll take my chances.

Naaa, you see, you're the dumb MF''er here. It's low intellect people like you, that have no idea what's truly going on. For small minded people like you, the only concept you can grasp is the simple, 'buy low, sell high'. You small minded people don't understand why the price has been dropping, you small minded people don't understand the true intrinsic value of a bitcoin be it in the present, or future.

Bitcoin reaching $100? lol

It's people like you that make me wish some world events happen tomorrow and trigger a price rise of 100x in one day, so that you will hate yourself for the rest of your life for not buying in when you had the chance.

Well then I will just resurrect this thread in 5-6 months. If I am wrong I will admit it, but I won't listen to people who are blinded by optimism.

waiting for $100 is like wasting your time. i doubt it will even go below $200
current price makes me buying a certain amount of btc per month.

Let me guess, you were telling people to buy all the way down from $1000? Please, don't waste these people's good time with your baseless 'gut instincts'.

Next..
770  Economy / Economics / Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 25, 2015, 12:44:38 AM
Let's cut the crap. Most of us are just waiting for Bitcoin to finally hit $100 to buy a huge quantity. Am I right or talking out my ass?
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not be adopted because it has.. too many decimal places? on: March 20, 2015, 10:02:33 PM
I'm having trouble understanding what you mean.
I mean, you don't go to the store and have them expect you to figure out the price of the product, taxes and exact change by yourself.. you know?
Why would it work any differently with Bitcoin?

If you're doing a friend to friend transaction most wallets tell you the price or you can look up the exchange rate yourself.

For example, what if you were in a Coffee shop, and the cup of coffee costed .000125 BTC

The average person would not want to waste time squinting at the decimal places and figuring up how much it actually is. Of course this is just my assumption that ordinary people would not want to do the math in their head all the time. I am decently intelligent and even I have to stop and think about it sometimes.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin will not be adopted because it has.. too many decimal places? on: March 20, 2015, 09:46:30 PM
I am newish to Bitcoin. I am wondering what your thoughts are on this. The average person doesn't have the time to calculate Bitcoin value out to the millionth decimal place. Would this be a problem for widespread adoption?
773  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real Time Capitalist Train Wreck (again) happening in USA, Greece, Spain, Italy on: March 19, 2015, 03:02:55 AM
States don't exist in Capitalism. States only exist outside of Capitalism. When states interfere with the way Capitalism would otherwise work, the end result is not the result of Capitalism, but rather the state.

For example: Let's say a child builds a castle out of sand. Once it is built, another child walks through and kicks it down. Would we then blame the first child for being a bad builder of sand castles because his sand castle was knocked down? No, the second child obviously intruded into the action of the sand castle being built. The result of the sand castle being kicked down is because the second child chose to kick it. Not because it was built by a bad builder of sand castles.
774  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase vs. LocalBitcoins on: March 14, 2015, 06:19:58 AM
Thank you for the information. But I guess what I am asking is, why is LocalBitcoins worth the 30% premium?
775  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinbase vs. LocalBitcoins on: March 14, 2015, 05:52:38 AM
Why would a person choose between one over the other? Obviously one means face to face.. I get that. But because LocalBitcoins users usually charge +30% premiums, why would someone choose localbitcoins over Coinbase?

Basically, what are the pros and cons of each? And which would be better for buying one large lump sum of coins? Say, $30,000?
776  Other / Off-topic / Re: What continent are you from? on: March 09, 2015, 01:04:40 AM
I swear. The moment someone says, "I'm from Antarctica" I am flipping fucking tables.
777  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: March 09, 2015, 12:54:31 AM
What people aren't realizing is that if you do become a Millionaire in Bitcoin, the second you cash out you will have to pay a 40% capital gains tax, which will leave you with only $600k. Socialism FTW!
778  Other / Beginners & Help / Will Starbucks Ever Accept Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2015, 11:31:03 PM
So I'm pretty new to Bitcoin. It has kind of suprised me that Starbucks doesn't accept Bitcoin. Why is this not a thing? Surely if Starbucks set the trend of accepting Bitcoin other physical retailers would follow.
779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happy Days Are Here Again, BTC UP, UP, UP ... on: March 04, 2015, 12:17:40 AM
You dumb asses.. markets go up and down. Be patient, sit back, and keep an open mind as you examine the charts.
780  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 25, 2015, 03:35:05 PM
Are you high? $45 a day for food for 3 people? More like $20. Unless you're 300 pounds and never work out.

Where do you live that you're feeding three people for $20 a day TOTAL?

That's ~$6 per day per person...

In some third world country.

Dozen Eggs       = $2.36
1 liter milk       = $1.02
loaf of bread     = $2.45
1 KG Apples      = $3.84
Head of Lettuce  = $1.60
1 kg Potato        = $2.46
28oz Turkey      = $6.98

total                = $20.71

If you can't feed 3 people in one day with the above you are doing food wrong. This is just the first day of shopping. Some of what's listed would last multiple days.

Most 'working class' American's food budget includes luxuries like Starbucks Coffee, Fastfood, junk food, multiple trips to the vending machine at work, new fad health foods, the occasional visit to Chiles, etc..
