They are now tied on the same spot with a 5-1 record, Converge is doing great on this elimination round now they have to be more consistent if they want to have a good chance getting into the semis.

Actually for me, reaching the Semi-Finals should be achievable by Converge as long as they keep that consistency in the eliminations. They have been known to be consistent at eliminations but the real challenge is post-eliminations.

Hopefully someday, if there's a chance, this independent team can also taste a championship.

Since when was the last time we are seeing a good independent team that is serious about winning, good thing Converge is bringing that competitive spirit as an independent team.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 10, 2023, 11:59:13 PM
Yes and somehow that is already expected on this fight considering that Naoya Inoue has been ruled as the favorite on this fight despite the fact that he's just the challenger and the champion is the underdog. As the time goes by, this odds will likely change but not towards us, so the odds will become less and less profitable. But if you're that kind of bettor who like risky bets and believes that the champion can defend his belt successfully then this odds is for you.

Unfortunately, I think there's no crypto-sportsbook yet that will list this fight because there's no unofficial announcement yet including the date. There's May 30, there's June and there are other dates. I saw a fiat sportsbook listing this fight and it says May 30 but searching the web, there's no official date yet.

It's a good pick if others will have a chance to bet on Naoya Inoue Moneyline at the odds of 1.3 to 1.4. We might not see odds like that given on Inoue if he continue his reign and establishing more winnings while he is moving forward.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 10, 2023, 11:58:58 PM
so either magsayo or figueroa, they may be wishing right now for vargas to win because that will favour their career. vargas is the favourite over foster, so let's see if he can get the belt of WBC World Super Featherweight Champion. if upset happens, then yeah, the winner of magsayo vs figueroa may face vargas later on.

Yes, it might be lol. No more added obstacle if both boxers want that WBC Featherweight Title if Rey Vargas will win and choose to hold instead the Super Bantamweight title. The winner between them will be officially holding the title and not just be an interim champion if Vargas decides to vacant it.

But the most speculated things that might happen can also be changed.

We just have to wait for results especially the fight between Vargas and Foster that's just less than a day now before the official face-off in the ring.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 10, 2023, 11:58:47 PM
Do you think that the owners of casinos and sports betting platform, gamble as much as other people do? If they gamble, do you think they gamble on their platform?

Yes, No and Maybe. There's no way we can determined if these casinos owners are really doing gambling.

Owning a casino and sports betting platform is a time consuming task and they have to make sure that everything is working properly.

We don't also have an accurate source we can rely on to know such stuffs so maybe a simple guess is all we can do.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 10, 2023, 11:57:17 PM
What other features would you like to see in crypto casinos for senior citizens?

Nothing really specific to senior citizens but just the usual features that the gambling site has.

It's not within the priority already of the gambling site to adjust features that will make things easy for senior citizens. In fact, these old guys should make the adjustment and seeks some guidance from young ones which might have an idea. I'm sure they will quickly learn those things if they are regular online gamblers for a long.

Vargas vs Foster final press conference and face-off:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjZ0mlTRGjI

Of course the regular exchange for this boxer in the press conference, Vargas says that Foster hasn't gotten a good sleep, while Foster said he will send Rey Vargas back to 126 lbs after he lost this fight. It also includes Mario Barrios and Puerto Rico’s Jovanie Santiago,10-round welterweight co-main event As well as unbeaten heavyweights Lenier Peró and Viktor Faust.

What a heated exchange of words between these two and I hope it's not just about trash talk but they will really eager to do it for real.

I'm looking forward to Rey Vargas winning the fight so he can settle now with the Super Featherweight.

Vargas is unable to secure his target fights at 126 so instead, he considers moving up to face new challenges. It's a wise decision as even if he loses this match against Foster, he's still a champion at 126.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What most gamblers do. on: February 09, 2023, 11:58:54 PM
I want to ask a question. And I need serious answer from this forum, and my question is WHY DOES A GAMBLER DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS.
In my country (Nigeria) there are many gamblers who don't have savings and it isn't help matters at all. Most of these gamblers can't afford for there families but they can afford money they will use to gamble. So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack. Like they said, we save money so money can save us tomorrow. But these gamblers doesn't know that.

It's not about the savings but gamblers do really have in their mind that if they want to gamble, they won't bother to spend on other things.

That's why you can see gamblers are mostly broke as even if they have savings, they will just spend it too to cover their gambling activity.

And it now leads to a financial crisis for their family and the next part is worst.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for a Casino which has a similar VIP Program of Stake on: February 09, 2023, 11:56:42 PM
I'm Platinum II on Stake and I receive these following standard bonuses even I didn't wager for a month.

 • $10 Weekly Bonus
 • $30-40 Monthly Bonus
 • $25 Post Monthly Bonus

Here's the thing, when I reached a certain rank like Platinum in that casino, I need these following bonuses even though I didn't wager for a month.

What a nice plan you have there but you will need a ton of money again to reach a such a certain rank on another gambling site.

But to answer directly the question, that program can only give to you by Stake and nothing else.

Other sites, of course, have a VIP program too but can't be compared to what Stake is offering.
769  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 06, 2023, 11:57:21 PM
Regardless if it's a desktop or phone, I don't really like to consider playing on a gambling platform that has a stand-alone application. Not saying they are prone to malicious malware being sandwich to the app but I don't like the idea of integrating them on my device by installing those.

I will only play on the gambling site's website and nothing else. Free from any worries that an application might ruin my device system.

Aside from that, I don't care what device I want to use as the most important thing to me is to win of course. Smiley
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 06, 2023, 11:51:58 PM
There is no doubt that Fulton is the biggest challenge so far in his career because Fulton is the biggest among the opponent he fought.  Besides, Fulton is a natural of the super bantamweight division while Inoue just happen to recently go up in weight class. Though Fulton KO victory isn't as impressive as Inoue, it really makes a difference when your opponent is naturally bigger than you.

Not a big deal if we are talking about the difference between 118 to 122.

Stephen Fulton maybe looks like a natural fighter in the Super Bantamweight as that's where he fights usually but didn't you know that Naoya Inoue, after every weigh-in in his 118 lbs fights, he is weighing around 122- 125 in the ring, on actual fights. It means Inoue is even overqualified already for Super Bantamweight and not having any disadvantages about weight differences. He is fast, quick, and agile.

And for me, Inoue can even match with those at 126 in a 1-2 years span.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 06, 2023, 11:41:20 PM
The funny thing I just realized about all this stuff is that Kyrie could have requested this trade at any time but he chose to do it the week that LeBron is about to break one of the most coveted records in sports.  I think maybe he was feeling a bit like he wasn't the center of attention for a second and had to do what he had to do to try and get himself in the news cycle.  Maybe that's just coincidence, but with Kyrie nothing is off the table.
Valid thoughts, possibly that he has really done it on purpose and the timing was perfect. He's known for that whenever there were some issues before about him.
Instead of the potential history that Lebron is about to make, he's become the talk first before that happens. Possible also that it's just mere coincidence but as we all know, everything and the timing was totally perfect.

I do know and am well aware that Kyrie Irving does really have an unusual character since then and does crazy things unexpectedly out of the blue, and even has a toxic attitude to everybody, with no expectation, but your guesses are maybe too much and really insane to think.

Asking trade just to try not to be overshadowed in the news because of Lebron James' hype in breaking a big record this week? That was funny to think. Grin

It's not even a coincidence. It's just that it happened simply. No need to overthink that.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: February 06, 2023, 11:32:49 PM
They are lucky that Inoue decided to move up, otherwise, this division will be owned by Inoue as long as he stays active.

Lucky as it should be but Inoue already finish his task at the 118 therefore it's not making sense to stay and do some title defense instead.

It will be a waste of time to just stay in the division where he is clearly the pure dominant. He should take advantage of his prime and deciding to move up weight is the best decision he did. If he plans to also capture all the titles at the 122, he can consider doing that. With his promoter Bob Arum, they can negotiate a big fight right away if they really intend to do it eagerly, especially for a world title fight.

As of this time, there's no clear opponent that Donaire might fight next. No words from Moloney too. Maybe told by his Boss to keep his mouth shut lol.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 06, 2023, 11:25:33 PM
If the import can provide additional offensive threat, the winning chance is really high for this team, we will see and test the new one next game, let's see if he will be able to fill the gap and make the team more competitive again.

He really should. I hope though that he won't feel pressured since the expectation for him is high and Magnolia badly needs to win. It's not usual to see SMC teams in the below standing and winless after 3 games. Not just pressured to win but maybe getting pressured too by SMC bosses. Cheesy

Magnolia's next game is on Friday against the Phoenix FuelMasters which is also a struggling team with a 1-4 record and their only win is against the worst team in the league which is also winless, Northport. Magnolia, even without the best performance by their new import should be able to handle Phoenix.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 06, 2023, 11:18:23 PM

It is ok to be aggressive but Magsayo should also work on his defense and footwork.  Rushing forward to an opponent will only make him sit duct to jabs and straight.  See what happens during Vargas fight, since Vargas has longer reach, and Magsayo just walking forward to get in his range, Magsayo was bombarded with jabs and straight while trying to close the gap between them.  So hopefully, Magsayo try to learn more about angles and footwork.

That is the main flaw of Magsayo he is very used to it because he has fought local fighters for too long, it's very different when you're fighting fighters from other territories, especially when you are fighting Mexican fighters who are known for their being sluggers, like Pacquiao he must use a lot of angles, counter punching and managing the distance, he can learn a lot from Fulton the only guy who beat Figueroa who beats him by fighting inside because Figueroa is the taller fighter.

I checked Magsayo's all opponents in his career and only a few of them are locals. That might not be the point of concern.

Maybe the best one to point out is, Magsayo is not used to fighting against boxers with an average of 5'8 height and over 70+ inches of reach.

So far, the biggest name in Magsayo's opponent list with a height of over 5'8 and a reach of about 70+ inches are Rey Vargas and his next opponent, Brandon Figueroa. Since Magsayo already faced Vargas and even won one of the judge's scorecards in that fight, his team might already have a strategy now on how to deal with a boxer with that characteristic.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 06, 2023, 11:10:59 PM
Therefore, the best thing to do for him is just to make sure he'll not fight Crawford and just look for opponents that he has a better chance of winning.

And that led Spence to fight Keith Thurman instead but the crazy thing here is, he will defend his 3 titles at 147 lbs at 154 weight division lol.

Maybe if Spence wins against Thurman, he needs to decide whether to continue at 154 or not. If he continues at 154, he should give up his titles at 146, and with that being said, it will be vacant and Crawford now has a chance to fight for a unification fight.

But with the way things are happening, looks like even the boxing council themselves like WBC don't want their baby boy Spence to be faced by Crawford.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 06, 2023, 11:00:56 PM
Those are good odds, if a casino is already offering them and you will make a bet on this fight anyway then it could be a good idea to take them, since as the fight gets closer to happening I have the feeling those odds will get much worse as the fans of Inoue begin to make their bets and  casual fans make bets on the favorite which is Inoue, so at the end casinos will have no option but to give worse odds than what they are offering now.

As far as I know, that's the highest odds so far that Naoya Inoue gets as a Favorite to win the match in his entire career. Sometimes he is always at a minimum of +500 above in the majority of his fights. It means Stephen Fulton is considered by the bookies not that heavily an underdog in this match compared to Inoue's previous opponent although the gap of odds is really distant and huge.

For others that are not aware of how that mentioned odds above will be shown in our favorite sportsbook as a usual odds we are seeing, it would be:

Naoya Inoue @ 1.4
Stephen Fulton @ 3.1
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 06, 2023, 10:53:04 PM
you can follow high roller games without matching their bets, especially for games like sports betting where you can place a bet of your own choosing. That being said it is a different story if you're trying to follow how these people bet too, including how much they place, which in that case you would be required to drop bags and bands.

I don't know if there's a bettor that will copy not just the bet but the bet amount as well too. Bettors who consider copying those high bettors obviously won't consider doing that to the fact, that was insane. Besides, I believed the bet amount placed by these high bettors is not visible to the public (or it does?)

Besides, high bettors don't mean they do have a good winning rate. It's just that they really put up a big stake mostly on their bets but the winning rate is in question. I'm not sure if there's a sports betting site where the winning statistic is also shown.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 05, 2023, 11:59:55 PM
Maybe OP needs to do a more test run for the long term. That will give us a clearer view if tailing at those so-called high bettors will be a success or not.

Since even professionals even losing in sports betting, the key here is their average winning rate. There might be a day that we tail on a certain bet but unfortunately loses it but the next day we decided not to follow them, they have now won it.

But that requires patience and more money before seeing a good result.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 05, 2023, 11:58:18 PM
That's true. Not all of them are too cruel and want's gamblers to lose more money for their own gain but some are kind and care too about their customers.

I don't think that the usual disclaimer or advice we see on casinos to gamble responsibly is really caring about their customers.

It's just that, it's mandatory to put that disclaimer as these are gambling companies.

If casinos do really take care of their customer's money, you should see lots of limit-activity programs on the site. Don't be blinded that the casinos are worried about their users losing money if you see those gambling responsibly advice posted on their sites.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 05, 2023, 11:54:56 PM
Just so happened that they've short in the last minute that's why they've got two early losses.

Yeah, they almost got a win against SMB possibly with Paul Lee's clutch shot. But if only their import is playing well in the entire game, there's no need for that clutch shot moment. Can't imagine Magnolia's import only scored 13 points in that long playing time. It's not how the import should be.

Magnolia did a good job of fixing the import problem right away and decided to replace him before anything much worst happened. It's quite unusual to see the Magnolia Hotshots in a 0-3 starting record at any conference involving an import.
