761  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Other sections for this forum? on: October 28, 2017, 10:49:44 PM

Tungkol dito. Ilang kailangan bang vote para magka childboard?

If you look at the discussions dito sa lokal, makikita mo na karamihan off topic and merong mangilanngilan na medyo may sense, pero later on napupuno ng spam, walang "solid discussions" na nagaganap dito... , puro lang "ranks" "signature campaigns""ANNs" lots of it, It's a shame if we would ask something from the admins which we really don't need here...

If sakasakali ang pinakamarami dito is Off topic, pero we could trash those threads naman if gusto natin, and second marketplace or if di marketplace, Bounties or services, kasi puro translation or karamihan pag kakakitaan...

For me Marketplace and Off- Topic. But between the two, I would suggest to have an Off Topic childboard. Napaka daming non sense and low quality topic meron tayo and those deserves an off topic board.

You two are correct... Sobrang dami ng off topic na thread dito... But you can contribute by not posting on those threads and at the same time reporting them para maitrash... Those threads and posters on that thread don't deserve any post count...

Trezor. It's worked really well for me. Highly recommended.
They give you a sheet to write down your recovery seed/phrase so that in the event your Trezor is lost/not supported in 30 years/whatever, you can easily recover your wallet by entering the phrase into any popular wallet service, such as Electrum or Mycelium on your phone.
It's a good, foolproof system. But you should play around with it for a bit, exchange some coins to your own wallets, get a feel for the device, then finally move your savings to it and sleep soundly knowing that they are safe and the backup exists.

Disabling post count on games and rounds and off topic is a big help to me when patrolling. I don't have to refresh every 15 minutes to see atleast 100 posts. What more if it includes ANN threads and bounties.

I think newbies should not be allowed to post in ANN threads or bounties, that would prevent abuse.

There are several ways in which Bitcoin could die catastrophically. The first would be a technical flaw (for example, a bug that would allow someone to steal coins). The second would be an economic flaw (for example, a code change that would instantly give 10 million coins to some entity for some reason).  A technical flaw would be something like a vulnerability in the cryptography used by Bitcoin or some security vulnerability in the consensus code that could be exploited.

As we have seen, the price of Bitcoin is determined in absolute terms by supply and demand. If many buy Bitcoin, then the price will go up and vice versa. Bitcoin price volatility will be dampened if more and more Bitcoin users are scattered and the number of Bitcoin is also higher.

Anonymity, that is mostly the reasons. It is hard to trust really for the government with something so trivial and something that they can't regulate in their point of view. Though good example for this is Russia which banned Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but look at them now who is recognizing and legalizing Bitcoin like Japan because they see the potential and can truly help them in the financial crisis they have been facing. I hope that other countries my see it as well.

Actually each country have their own policy maybe the government are concerned will many wiping the money or commonly known as money laundering. fair or not that's what we have to face because until now the existence of bitcoin is still not recognized.
