761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 14, 2023, 03:13:29 PM
If someone think playing dice with 1.01x odds is impossible to lose and the gambler will always make money in slowly, it's completely wrong. There are many people already experienced to lose in 1.01x odds, no one is making money by betting such low odds.

Consistent wins is only happen when you can hack the casino and manipulate the result.

I had many many losses at those odds... x1.01 is good for wagering wars, or when we wish to level up a bit faster. But that kind of playing can easily backfire on us, which happened to me more than once with some higher bets as well. But it's the risk we take...

Consistent wins happen mostly with skill-based games, even with them it's hard to win most of the time, but it's possible. Greediness is the problem and why we lose most of the time, those who learn how to beat greediness can make a profit in the long run with nice winning streaks.

What happened::I had a bonus of $129 usd deposited with 40x wager requirement ($5189 more or less) i have turned the $129 into $4000+ USD

Quote
On Sep 24, 2023 I deposited $776.16 at the BC Casino, the casino matched my deposit with $776.16. please see attachment 1. (Remind you the website had recently gone through an 8-hour upgrade/maintenance.)

I read the Terms and conditions of the deposit bonus, 40X wager which makes it $31040.

BC.Game has a different bonus type than some other casinos, so I am not sure how they got their bonuses and about this x40 wager requirement. BC matches our deposits (as you can see on this image) and we need to wager a lot to unlock it. Open the bonus page and you can check more about it, the formula is: "Unlock amount = wager amount * 1% * 20%". We can deposit more money, or we can withdraw our money, anyway the bonus is not credited instantly, we need to unlock it and when we do it we can do what we want without those BCD's.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 13, 2023, 02:56:16 PM
Well, I gamble at work from time to time, but my job is like that, sometimes I have "free time" at work. I guess some jobs require total focus, but my job is not like that, so I can allow myself to gamble or do some other things while I am at work. It's not always like that, but there are good moments at work.

This sad story is about gambling losses, but it's gambling... we all win and lose all the time, if people can't bear gambling losses they should avoid gambling in the first place.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cross addictions is Just as Bad. on: October 13, 2023, 12:56:59 PM
...
Ever heard of cross addiction or suffered from it?
What do you think?

I think that we need to have some fun and to have some fun we need to spend some money... maybe some of us get a bit "obsessed" with things we like, but it's how we like to do it. I wouldn't say that it's a big problem as long as we know what we are doing.

I heard about cross-addiction, and I guess we can say that each of us suffered from it at some point in life. But it's not a big deal, changes are normal, and it is normal that our interests change.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone encountered any dog race betting here? on: October 12, 2023, 11:13:11 AM
Dog race might also be as interesting as horse race, but I have never seen casinos that have adopted dog race either online or live. Well, we have these bargain talents of dogs at some certain places but never seen dog race. And if ever this will be adopted in casinos, I think it will attract lot of bettors but I prefer to bet it online because it’s just so heartbreaking to see real dogs having serious injuries while trying to win the race.

I don't think that serious injuries happen a lot in dog racing, why did that occur to you? Injuries are something "normal" in every sport, and it's certain that sometimes the injuries are more serious, but it's not like that they happen often.

As for crypto casinos, so far I haven't seen that some crypto casinos offer betting on dog races, but there is betting on dogs in regular casinos. At least there used to be, I haven't visited a land-based casino in a long time. There was a special TV channel for those races, so we could watch and bet on them. Some of my friends loved this, but I'm not a fan of this kind of gambling, I like some other sports a lot more.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: October 11, 2023, 08:38:14 PM
...
One of the main reasons on why people cant touch up this real estate business on which it is really true that this one really talks about millions of money which you would really be needing for you to be able to purchase up some real estate or property but we know that there are really indeed corners of the world on which value of USD is high on which 500k would really be already that significant on buying out a couple of properties
on which you could really make use of in speaking about rental businesses or passive income on which it is something that must have if you are really that thinking for long term.

It is really just that sad that majority of people doesnt really have that capability on acquiring such property due to the value or the money they do have.If we would really be given some chance
then of course we would really be choosing thing over among other types of investment but in overall if you do have that sufficient money then diversification in 3 different parts or corners
would really be that recommended on doing so because we do know on what are the benefits on having that diversified funds on which it would really be making out that back up
on each other whenever the one investment fail or simply you could really that be able to sustain if one fails.

Oh, now we are at the second part... you can have millions, but to get into the real estate business you need "connections". If you don't have connections with the "government & some people in power" then you will suck it big time when it comes to getting licenses for building and everything else. You don't get in the "circle" just with money, outsiders can be wiped out just like that.

Maybe I went too high here... buying some small apartment or rearranging some old house is one thing, and people can do it without confronting big players, but even that can be pretty much expensive. Anyway, the real estate business is not something we can get into just like that, and for sure it's not impossible to start it without huge capital.

767  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: October 11, 2023, 06:09:03 PM
Talking about which one better between "real estate vs cryptocurrency" depending preference of our skill have good controlling when try investing in real estate or not? its difference from cryptocurrency investment when trying with real estate or other business have important about knowledge and skill as first important thing. If can't handle well with business and lack knowledge about real estate investment better make cryptocurrencies for investment assets in the future.
Its not bad ideas when trying with all investment kinds, but depend on manage well or not with real business such as real estate or property need more information exactly in the future will this location as our real estate investment have values later or not worth yet in the future.
Investing; it's a heavy term, no? We're comparing real estate and cryptocurrency, two very distinct fields. Real estate requires knowledge and talent, as you say. This field requires knowledge of markets, geography, and property values. Is cryptocurrency really easier for real estate novices?

Despite its simplicity, cryptocurrency is risky. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies face market volatility, legislative changes, and technological weaknesses. Does that make them safer for beginners? Not necessarily. Real estate and cryptocurrency require deep understanding to navigate. Could cryptocurrency investment's seeming simplicity hide its hazards and complexities?

Investing is never uniform. Understanding the nuances of your field (real estate or cryptocurrency) is key. Is it about learning and investing carefully in an area, or about choosing the lesser of two complexities?

So what kind of knowledge and skills do you need to invest in the real estate business? Where do you live? As I know for real estate business you need money... and not just some amount of money, we are talking about big money. The bigger the city and the closer we are to the center, the figures only increase, we are talking about millions of dollars here.

OP started this topic with "Let's imagine that you have half a million US-Dollar/Euro/GBP"... well, let's imagine you have 100$ and can you (or anyone) explain me how to get into the real estate business with 100$? What kind of knowledge and skills can help me? Smiley
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: October 11, 2023, 01:02:01 PM
...
Someone explained this to me, and I believe he is already a victim because to me it doesn't make sense, I believe he is been used because he lacks knowledge about gambling, do you think my judgment is wrong?

I saw how people "invest" in poker players... something we can see in some movies as well. When buy-in is expensive for a player, someone can back them up. Of course, it's risky as hell, but some people are willing to take the risk if they believe a player has the skills to do something more. I think nobody is doing something like this blindly, without knowing the player's history and past achievements.

Some people are simply rich, and they can afford to gamble like this...

769  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Digital Gold on: October 11, 2023, 07:25:18 AM
I am more particular with diversification of investment about the two assets bitcoin and gold. Let's keep sentiment aside, a good businessman won't go all digital with his investment he/she will also diversify into real life tangible assets like gold or real estate no matter how conventional digital assets like bitcoin is taking a center stage at the moment. When we diversify investments we reduce our risks.

I don't know how you mean by the trust in gold is dieing as long as I know there are still innumerable investors that still holding on to gold as part of their investment portfolio's. For the fact that we're going digital wouldn't make gold worthless and except you planned on having a fleet of gold bars that's when you might have difficulty in storing, therefore handing it over to a third-party custody becomes your next line of action.

Let's keep sentiment aside and let's be realistic... how much money do we need to invest in real estate? Do you have some real estate investments? It's easy to talk about these things, but in reality, you need to be really rich to afford some real estate, especially if we are aming a property on some good location.

Well, I don't have gold bars... and never will have them. One of the reasons is because I don't wish to hand them over to a third-party. Not your keys, not your gold! Slowly, but steady, people are starting to realize that, and as time goes by, crypto will gain more and more importance, while precious metals will remain just that, precious metals.

This one is turning into an amazing shitpost thread - seriously guys, haven`t you said it all after 45 pages? There is no actual value here, it`s repeating the same over and over again.

It's just one of the shitpost threads... there are many similar threads around, and who are we to fight against that? Smiley

There's no value in "referral bonuses" without referrals, but there is value in making posts about "referral bonuses" and getting paid for that.

Betfury introduced a nice referral program : https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/betfury-introduces-a-very-generous-referral-program/ this doesn't look as "waste of time" for people who join? Good luck! Smiley

Government's of the the world have their national reserve in gold not in bitcoin and this delivers an explicit message that the trust gold have earned over the centuries bitcoin do not come close...

Well, we know how hard can be to store and hold gold. And if you let the "third party" do that for you, then you are at their mercy. One day they can just say "fuck-off" and not let you use your gold, I think we already have examples of that around the world. That can't happen with your Bitcoins, if you remember "12 words" you are the only one who has control over your funds.

I guess that "trust in gold" is dying slowly, it's like some "glory from the old days"... I am not into gold and I don't care about it at all, and I will say that new generations are more into digital things, and they know that "freedom" is not "freedom" if someone can control everything you do with your money, read banks and regulations.

OK, I will follow you... did you diversify and do you have investments in crypto and gold? And if you diversified how much you have in crypto and how much you have in gold?

Let's keep sentiment aside and let's be open here... I don't have any gold, but I have some crypto! I chose the side, and I will not diversify in gold or some fiat, I can diversify by owning different coins, and I am doing that. I am not sure why you mention real estate, to get into some you need a big bankroll, many people can just dream about buying one. It's easy to talk, but it's hard to get into it.

So, you can try to sit on two chairs... and that can pay off one day, or not... we will see.

773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: October 10, 2023, 06:52:22 AM
Going forward in the best interest of investors and the project itself, hope to see "more" bounties being paid with established coins in this industry.

What do you guys think?

In order to pay, they must first have money for it, but new projects do not have money. That's why new projects look for creative fundraising methods, and ICO is one of the first ones in the crypto industry. So projects without money can offer just their tokens, they pay everything with that... at least everything and anyone who is willing to work for that token.

So if you think that new projects should pay for everything with some established coins or stable coins I guess there would be 99% less projects around.
774  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: October 09, 2023, 06:13:49 PM

Can it be more funnier? Diesel aggregate for recharging electric cars...

This is where the hypocrisy of the West is reflected, they think if they drive electric cars that makes this world cleaner, but how are these cars made, where are the lithium mines?

In my country there are too many petrol/diesel cars/trucks... people depend on it, their business depends on it. I doubt that anyone can stop the sales and usage of diesel and petrol vehicles... not now, not even in 10 years.
775  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTSBETTING ADVICE! ⚽️ on: October 09, 2023, 04:23:48 PM
13. HAVE FUN! If you don't have fun. STOP!

Good advice, and certainly by following some advice we increase the chances of winning, but after all, we are all gambling and there are no guarantees. It's especially difficult to stay in the plus in the long run, so this is perhaps the most important advice, to enjoy the process and to have fun while researching games and looking for the right bets.

But when fun stops and when someone gets desperate to make a profit it's definitely time to stop and make a nice long break.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 09, 2023, 02:15:17 PM
Words like smart & wise are hard to combine with gambling... We all know that old saying that the only way to win in gambling is to not place a bet, everything else is just gambling and can take us both ways. So it's on us to try out different strategies, it's smart & wise to risk only what we can afford to lose and to stop if things get crazy, but all that is hard when we start playing and excitement overcomes us.

I don't think it's smart to take gambling too seriously and to expect too much from it... sooner or later you will be disappointed. I guess this especially works with lucky-based games. With poker and sports betting things are different, but even that can be tricky when a bad streak comes.

777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: October 08, 2023, 08:26:38 PM
Well, to win big we need to play big... or we can play with small bets with great risk and if we are lucky enough maybe we will catch some big payout before we get busted. So it's not about the game, it's about how we play it and how much we are willing to risk... we can play Crash and chase x2 or x100k, the same as we can spin slots or we can buy bonus rounds, or to make it even more interesting we can buy super bonus rounds, but that is not cheap even with the lowest bets.

It can be very exciting to chase big wins in any game, just be aware that chasing big wins comes with big risks. One doesn't go without the other...

778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: October 08, 2023, 03:43:15 PM
Growing up into a man I got used to gambling believing it will change my current financial status...

And here we are... many people start crying and cursing everything after losing in gambling. I guess we all wish to make some "easy money" with gambling, and sometimes we get lucky (some people can even get extremely lucky) but it's still gambling, there are no guarantees.

Gambling can have positive or negative effects, I would say all that depends on us... and only on us! We should know how much we can risk, and what odds we chase, we need to know that we can easily lose as we can win. If someone gambles only to win I would say that person is blind, and it will hit his head sooner or later. And that person can cry later, but it's all in vain. Before you decide to do something risky try to do it with open eyes, at least you will know what is waiting for you.
779  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: October 08, 2023, 11:53:01 AM
a unique parade, very innovative but behind it all without realizing it, this parade provides many examples of gambling and more and more people will try it, instead of reducing addiction to gambling but in fact it actually makes the gamblers curious themselves.

I agree with you, in the end, it's just marketing... “I don't care what the newspapers say about me as long as they spell my name right.” This never gets old, and I guess you hit the point with the "unique parade", this is exactly that.

There's nothing like "Slot Educational", I think it's crazy to put these two words together in one sentence.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are trading bots worth using in the cryptocurrency trading? on: October 08, 2023, 07:50:00 AM
Disclaimer: I haven't used any form of crypto trading bots but here's still my opinion.
I think you need a very smart bot using a really good AI model to make a profit and to beat the market/other strategies.
If there is something like this that the BOT can beat the market, then I’m sure every trader will use it.
Unfortunately, trading bot is for your own convenience and not for you to make profit because it will still trade based on what you input and based on your own strategy. Better to trade on your own but if you are too busy and you really want to trade using BOT, then this can be possible just don’t expect for the big profit if you are using the Bot.

Trading bots will work for some time, but how long depends on how we set it up and how much money we invest in it. Some strategies require a big bankroll, and some strategies require complicated settings. So we can't say it's easy to find a good trading bot and to let it work. Before trying some trading bots, it would be smart for people to try trading on their own, to get some experience. Before day trading (or any other short-term trading) people should start with mid and long-term trades, it's better when we give ourselves some time to research and make a good position. We learn from our own mistakes, day trading is hard, I lost a lot of money before I learned that.
