761  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: October 24, 2017, 07:04:43 AM
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley

Im just new to the bitcoin world or should I say cryptoworld so my strategy is simple yet, it is to buy bitcoins everytime its price is down and hold it for some time. Joining bounty campaigns and trading altcoins is a good way as well, these two are my strategies as of the moment.
Buying during the dip is the best way to increase capital but difficult at the same time. Most traders fail to do so rather they sell out BTC due to the fear of loss. Joining a signature campaign is the easiest earning method and it is not like faucets which don’t give us reasonable salary.

You have put your hands into many means at the same time and it is amazing to see someone tackling all of them with efficiency. For a good future, we need to work hard in our present.
762  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: October 24, 2017, 06:40:45 AM
Obviously all people want to be rich but to be rich it's not instant and you need to work for it, you there is no bullshit about all of us are rich. People who are not work hard to get rich will not get rich. For me yes I want to be rich but it's still far from me to be rich because I don't have a stable job.
Getting rich is a dream which almost all of us see in our lives. But the sad part is there are only few who can manage to change their dream into reality. Getting rich is not a very big deal if you are having good amount of motivation and self-determination in yourself. You only need to believe in yourself and keep on working hard in order to make different kind of opportunities which can help you earn more money.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 24, 2017, 06:05:26 AM
I have been thinking about this a lot recently and came to the conclusion that realistically, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are likely not going to be able to be taxed by governments. There is just too much to track and even automated systems will not be capable of reliably linking individuals to their addresses strongly enough to warrant claiming they need to pay tax. Virtually anyone could use a mixing service and pay 1% and launder their coins which makes taxing essentially impossible.
There are a number of ways to bypass the taxes applied by the government so perhaps any of the government won't apply taxes on bitcoins. Bitcoins are the major source of income for many people's and all the sources of income are been applied taxes by the government excluding bitcoins. Bitcoin mixing services will be used more if ever bitcoins are been taxed. But for now, government has nothing to do with bitcoins so we can continue learning a good amount of profits in bitcoins.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Price Pumps and Forks on: October 24, 2017, 05:21:11 AM
now actively buying bitcoins to get bitcoin gold, after October 24, it will definitely fall in price, all will start buying altсoins. i dont recomended to invest in bitcoins now.
I've read on one web, if hardfork will bring up a new type of coin, because currently bitcoin will issue bitcoingold.will our bitcoin disappear? or even increase with bitcoingold, because I've read will happen some possibilities, such as lost or increased.
Even if bitcoin old in generated in the hardfork, the price for bitcoin will continue rising and bitcoin can never be dumped by any upcoming coins. According to me, bitcoingold will be similar to bitcoincash and will not overtake bitcoin.

Even there are some powerful altcoins like ETH but even they didn't overtake bitcoins and do it is hard for any upcoming coin to do so. But predicting crypto markets is nearly impossible so let wait for it and see the results.
765  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: October 21, 2017, 08:38:29 PM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.
Gold is left behind with bitcoin, the bubble never stops and here we are at $6120 mark. Investing in bitcoin is more profitable and in short time unlike gold that barely moving.
There is hardly any reason to argue this thing that it is none other than bitcoin which is ruling the world now-a-days in a significant manner.

Gold was no doubt very much profitable and was considered as the best way of investing money in the past but now things have changed a lot. It is only bitcoin which is at the top of the list and it has earned a very good name in such a short period of time.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA ban Rise and Down on: October 21, 2017, 08:08:11 PM
probably it’s obvious for everyone who has seen the proof that bitcoin has recovered or rise since the ICO’s closing in China. and there are many people who become optimistic about bitcoin’s growth after the fork’s announcement that will be held in this month
There is no reason to deny this fact that bitcoin is very much powerful thing and it cannot lose its reputation and fame just because of the propaganda of any country. China did try his best in order to take control over bitcoin but results are right in front of all of us.

China failed and all his plans failed in worst manner. Bitcoin will keep on rising high and high no matter what the conditions and circumstances will be.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: October 21, 2017, 06:44:09 PM
My worst mistakes were chasing my losses everytime I lost Sad It never ended up well.
I have been here too once and it is just what most gamblers have experienced in the start of their career as a gambler Grin before learning that once you lose, forget it and just move on. It can never end up well. The cruel part is when you bet that big amount, you will want to try a bigger thinking after all, you have taken the bold step already, until you see a zero account with your eyes wide opened.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way to quit gambling and start trading?? on: October 21, 2017, 06:06:45 PM
Think of your family I guess. It will make you think how can you make most of your money for it to grow. It just need a new view or perspective. The way of looking is one way of motivation.
Risks are everywhere you just need to know where your efforts will be worth it.
You think addicted gamblers don’t know they are hurting some set of people, most especially friends and families ?

They just cannot help it. I had a colleague at work who told me his story and just could not control the impulse at all. It is always crazy for these guys, sometimes i pity them, sometimes I do not. It is just to never get addicted and stop before getting to that point but once the person is, chances of turning back is hard.
769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 21, 2017, 05:28:25 PM
Ugh. I've lost so much potential profit by not being patient and not believing in bitcoin--but I don't dwell on it, since none of us knows what the future holds.   And that's the main reason why I don't trade altcoins.  The market volatility is insane, and I don't have the stomach to be patient in a market where you could potentially lose literally everything in an instant.

Once I get my debt settled, I'll be buying some bitcoin to hold on to.  But no altcoins for me.
It is quite normal for people to be hesitant on something that they do not know well. So for me the best way for people to know or to earn more is to set a lot of time for them to learn and to have a basic role of learning with the used of bitcoin and also earning bitcoin with different ways and modes. But for it to happen one should have a lot of time and for them to achieve they also need to be patient enough to find ways and to learn more.
This is so true. The reason why most people do not normally have patience is due to their knowledge base.

For someone what is knowledgeable and understand what he/she is doing, it is pretty obvious, they can make good decisions from their trade and be patient a little to make a good profit than panicking but everything balls down to the coin you hold though.
770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: October 21, 2017, 07:56:18 AM
I will go with both of them by diversifying my investments as its really risky to depend only on single investments and there is no doubt that bitcoin will give me good returns in long term but if I have to make good profits in short term then I need to invest in potential altcoins and so far I have made good profits from altcoins so will follow the same strategy in future too.
Diversifying one's portfolio is usually always good. I do not need to buy much altcoin and if they can prove themselves to me what bitcoin has in a couple of months, then I can buy more.
For now, bitcoin still takes the larger share of the portfolio while the remaining altcoins share the remaining lower part of it. Some of them have done pretty good while some are still lagging behind but only time will tell.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of Bittrex blocking withdrawals for "security" reasons on: October 21, 2017, 07:08:30 AM
I stopped using polo after support issues they are still struggling to solve.

I have started using bittrex as an alternative and now they are disabling accounts without prior notice in the name of investigation  Roll Eyes

We need decentralized exchange platform where we can trade freely and anonymously.
Honestly, decentralized exchange is really good and would go a long way since most of these centralized exchange are just not different from the banks we have always had to face in the past.
However, I guess we are stuck at this stage and until then, we might just have to make do with the ones we have after judging how best they serve us,.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What service do you recommend for the bounty? on: October 21, 2017, 06:36:59 AM
Hi all!
What service do you recommend for the bounty?
I used to use a promotion, but he seems to have died
Advise, please, a similar service. First of all, we are interested in conducting twitter campaigns
Thanks!
Twitter campaign has really been awesome and has helped so many projects to get noticed pretty fast. It depends on your budget and how willing you are ready to go, most advert services such as facebook, twitter, article, signature all have a part they play for every ICO. You cannot say which would be effective the most even though twitter has been pretty good, but you just have to spread those tentacles.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: October 21, 2017, 04:41:24 AM
Not anytime soon. If you want to gamble with your Bitcoins, do it online as there is a surplus of available gambling sites. They're also more convenient since you don't have to leave the comfort of your home. Only problem is you will have to check if the site you're on is legitimate.
We never know what future will bring for us. Still, there is no such news that bitcoin is being used at casinos but there are slightly chances of this thing to happen in the near future. The way bitcoin is making such a good reputation, it is very much possible that the owners of casino introduce this idea to the world in order to earn more.
With everything going digital and some casions even having some digital poker tables, anything is possible and bitcoin adoption is one of the possible things we will start seeing in casions very soon. It is getting obvious how online casinos have made huge waves with the integration of bitcoin and this will definitely pass a lot of messages to physical casinos on the importance of making use of the anonymity features the blockchain tech brings.
774  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: October 20, 2017, 08:21:14 PM
Which is the best way to promote products or refferal links? Social media and forums is total shit,no one interested in this.

Social media is not totally shit, you still can promote on facebook group and on instagram. It's depend on what products that you sell though, if you sell like cosmetics product, you can join a facebook group about cosmetics and you also can endorse somebody on instagram to use your products.
Even if you do not want to join a group, their paid advert, most especially facebook is very effective if you have some little cash to spare and if you can target the right market as that is very important. Most people are always skeptical about using paid adverts, but you just have to make use of money to get money and you will be surprised at how fast adverts can get you there quicker than you'd imagine.
775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: October 20, 2017, 07:44:18 PM
Day trading seems a better choice for me. Holding is also fine but in my opinion, you bigger capital to hold than you need to trade.
Well, day trading can offer superior profits if you are a good trader but it can also offer terrible losses if you are not good at it, holding offers both earnings and losses too, but if you hold enough there is a point in which is almost impossible to get back to the original price that you bought and the best thing is that this can happen very fast, those that bought at 1000 dollars are in a good position because I do not think we are ever going to see bitcoin at that price.
Day trading really offers a whole lot of profit, when you are good at it and you just know what you are doing. It is even very easy to build from so little to more with day trading. However, just as you have said, for someone who may not understand how trading works, it might be very tasking and the possibility of losing fast is also there but with a good portfolio anyway, the chances of loosing that much reduces.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another hard fork coming in October. New Bitcoin name is "Bitcoin Gold" on: October 20, 2017, 09:20:52 AM
Well, what do you know - the website is actually a website instead of a blank page now: http://btcgpu.org/.  And they list HitBTC, Bitstar and Yobit (exchanges), so maybe there will be a way to sell your BTG after all. I guess maybe this thing is real after all (I was having my doubts).
Eventually, so many wallets will come up for it. I had my doubts too when there was no single update on their page until few days ago.

Although, only a single wallet for now, but chances are that we will have more. The exchanges though, are not the sort of exchanges I will want to leave my funds, so that is a NO NO. Days are getting closer and they have already stated the block they will fork, so we just wait and see how events turn out to be.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Earning Campaigns on: October 20, 2017, 07:56:39 AM
I see I'm a new member, so it would be hard to earn bitcoin because nobody enrolls new members in campaigns. But are there any altcoin campaigns here from where I can earn altcoins?
Is there a list of altcoin signature and social media campaigns?
You can check the altcoin bounty thread, some of them usually enroll newbies into their campaign and if you have a very good social media presence, you can earn some bounties either with your facebook or twitter account. So, you have plenty of ways to earn to choose from. However, there are so many alt newbie accounts, so you may just have to wait till you at least become a Junior member in case you end up not finding one.
778  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: October 19, 2017, 07:18:56 PM
The rapid rise of bitcoin prices in a few years makes many users feel the tremendous benefits, not even the few who become the new rich, we soon become the new rich if we immediately invest bitcoin.
I’m on of those that bitcoin changed their lives. First I’m giving thanks to God, and secondly to Bitcoin (or whoever it is that came up with the idea). Before I couldn’t feed myself, I couldn’t handle my responsibilities, no need to mention family which I’m unable to take care of.

I have a job, but it doesn’t pay up to my satisfaction, and sometimes they do hold our salary. Ever since I joined Bitcoin, I walk into stores with smiles on my face, I can take care of myself and even handle my responsibilities. I’m so grateful.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 19, 2017, 06:26:40 PM
I came across several threads on the forums about bitcoin as their source of income, people leaving their day jobs just to focus on campaigns here in the forum.

Why most of the people in the forum sees bitcoin as currency that you need to spend everyday? On my opinion at this point of time for bitcoin it is better to consider it as an asset, an investment that if you keep it there is a big chance that your investment will grow. Think of its future potential, at this time each coin cost $5600+ when maybe about 100 million people who is using it. imagine what will the price be if 1 billion people uses it in the future how much will the price be? And this also applies to alt coins. As much as possible keep you coins and wait for the price to boom.
You’re right – most of the people in this forum doesn’t seem to understand anything about bitcoin – they see it as a Currency (real money) where as Bitcoin is not, but an asset for investment. We should be seeing bitcoin as gold, and not as a currency. And we shouldn’t just quit our main jobs because of it, let it be a side job, unless you’re hired by a Bitcoin company that will pay you a similar amount or more than you’re getting paid monthly from your regular job.
780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: lost and struggle of trading. on: October 19, 2017, 05:54:47 PM
Trading is no doubt a risky business and anyone who wants to become a trader must also be a risk-taker. That is, you must be willing to risk any amount to gain experience and become a successful trader someday. If you did not experience any loss in trading, then you are not a real trader.
if you really want to go all the way in life generally, you just have to take some huge risk and those who did always and ended up being successful always have a good story to tell about it. Like you said, experience is always the best teacher and it makes you better at what you do even after you have learnt.

Nothing good comes easy for sure and you just have to put in all the efforts to make it better.
