761  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: November 24, 2016, 11:10:24 AM
My predictions about bitcoin is:
1. In 2017 the highest price reach $1200 and the lowest price $1000
2. In 2020 the highest price reach $5000 and the lowesr price $4500

But I doubt bitcoin can survive after 2025, because too many problem and replace with another cryptocurrency.
Too many problems? Like what? Like the slow transactions from time to time? I don't think it's enough reason for us to lose our trust of bitcoins. Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency and all the other altcoins are just a copy of the bitcoin idea. The slow transactions doesn't change the fact that bitcoin is the most established coin and would continue to be like that. But maybe eventually something better will replace bitcoins. Especially that it's a thing on the internet, something more brilliant might come up and replace it.
For me the slow transactions is not normal to me as it does not happen all the time, if you will try to analyze the overall value of bitcoin you can still say that it is valuable more than it's weaknesses. If most of the investors are seeing that problem and it's a big deal for them then probably they will be pulling their shares and will create panic selling.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 24, 2016, 11:06:30 AM
I know Bitcoin is being used to buy illegal items such as drugs and other stuff. I think they use Bitcoin because it's what the dealers and consumers want, anonymity, untraceable, and still be transparent. I don't know any deep web stuff but I think it really is being used not just for drugs, I've seen in Mr. Robot that it is being used in other ways. (It is a good show by the way). Drugs are just going to destroy you.

The anonymity is not always guaranteed when you purchase drugs from the dark markets. You will be providing the shipping address to the vendor, and it might be possible to track you using this information.
Yes it's true, even if the payoff is not know, but the sender and the recipient of the goods easily known. I think it's better don't do illegal things with bitcoin, because it could damage the image of the bitcoin and maybe make the government will spacing to bitcoin users.
There's no perfect crime in this world and there's no secret that will not be known, using bitcoin to transact for illegal activities will only increase your chances of being caught but it would not guarantee you are safe with what you are doing.
763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 24, 2016, 10:59:10 AM
The market is unpredictable, however you always should foresee multiple outcome. The most important one is: "Where should the market NOT go". That is where you place your trading stop.

Most people who are proudly calling themselves traders are not like that. They would be just waiting out the bad times till the price rebounds. and they are able sell at a profit. With Bitcoin, it usually works out just fine at the end of the day (unless you bought your bitcoins in late 2013 at over $1,000 per coin, of course), but with altcoins that might be and most likely is fatal, given that the total majority of these "coins" are outright scams...

Which all without exception eventually end up at 1 satoshi
But there are still people who like to play with alts and actually they are making money since they have a good skills to do the right timing. Therefore for overall, a trader's skills can be determine not only because of one asset but base on different assets like trading with alts and bitcoins.

It has different market so you will be tested if you can succeed or not.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: November 24, 2016, 10:53:02 AM
Think that answer to this question is based on the strategy and investing style of the participant.

Gambling has a fixed odds system for all major games, while trading in the markets is truly unpredictable.  The “house” or market does not have any unfair advantage as with casino style games.

If you are able to exercise extreme discipline and laser focus on your trading strategy, you can profit in the market.
However, if you approach the market with random abandonment, then the market can and will cause you serious pain.

Exactly, you have to give your full focus in trading because it requires such for your to succeed. You are playing with the real market and you need to feed yourself with an updated information that will affect your decision making.
765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: November 24, 2016, 10:48:31 AM
So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't).  I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years. Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)
Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly) Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.
Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

I am sure there are some people who can be in your situation. I think the best advice is: Find someone you can trust who have a proven trading record and let that guy do the trading for you.
I do not believe in such idea, for you to learn in trading you must manage it your own and if you are not successful then simply quit trading and focus in other investments. For sure you can find a lot of opportunities here since AFAIK not only trading can give us profit.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: November 24, 2016, 10:45:09 AM
C'mon people. Lottery is the biggest gambling ever
Exactly, lottery operators are making a lot of money from dumb people like us. We are betting with low chances of winning because our hopes are so big that what if one day we might hit millions. It's fun if you will not play it regularly as it will not make you lose big amount.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 24, 2016, 08:24:27 AM
My bet for tonight:

Charlotte vs San Antonio WIN San Antonio     at quote@1.45
Cleveland vs Portland      WIN Cleveland        at quote@1.10
Orlando vs Phoenix         WIN Orlando           at quote@1.55
Philadelphia vs Memphis UNDER 200,5 points at quote@1.55
Utah vs Denver              WIN Denver             at quote@3.60

Parlay at quote@13.80

Too bad you only hit 2 out of your 5 bets. Must be not a lucky day for you mate. You could have hit the under in Sixers vs Memphis game if the game does not went to double OT. That was really an intense game and I lose in the game because I get the Sixers Moneyline on live.
its so intense at first i was thinking that sixers can win that too mate as i also  place my bet with them glad even i lose i recover a little with okc / kings games, kings dominate the game until the last period its really hard for westbrook to win alone.
I do have a parlay with 9.07 odds (Minny -3, Kings -3, kings&OKC over 2015)

Minnesota just ruin my parlay so I end up losing like BTC0.1..Not a good day for me, I lost a lot in Lakers as well, I hope the line was good as they beat the warriors at home but Warriors got their revenge.
768  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 24, 2016, 08:08:14 AM
Other than those loading fees, there will not be any uncomfortable in using bitcoin debit cards.

The primary advantage of Bitcoin is the removal of the middle man, a.k.a the bank.
If you are going to use a debit card, with loading and other fees, the whole purpose of removing the middle man is defeated.

I think this is also one of the reasons why bitcoin was created. An alternative currency to be used on internet where decentralization is one of the feature. Now, sending or paying someone over the net using bitcoin is cheaper compared to other site.
yeah that one of the purposes of use bitcoin as a payment method, but for now I think it is still limited to use bitcoin as a currency, because it is still a bit of a third party that accepts bitcoin
People are just making the right effort with bitcoin, since they understand that nowadays it's not so popular they consider it as investment as they see in the future that bitcoin will be popular and I am one of that people who believe in the future and investing now is the key to success.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 24, 2016, 07:55:28 AM
I dont know if im advancing too fast, but in the future we will do all transactions online without the need anymore of the printed money, besides that i do believe we will have internet acess for free, companies will sell just computers and digital equipments.
yeah maybe it will happen in the future in which all transactions will be online and may also be a free internet, but think that paper money would disappear I think it's too scary you know
Not really, you are just saying that kids should learn bitcoins and illiterate people should need to learn computer. It does not work that way, the world is not fair, there are people who are living in poverty who does not have an education to comprehend what is bitcoin in the first place.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: November 24, 2016, 07:49:17 AM
Today i am trading altcoins and it is very hard for making bitcoins  Grin but i will try to mining using GPU hardware, i will try other ways for making bitcoins although will be hard.

I hear this a lot of times in the community that mining is not profitable anymore because the profit you might get from it will go in the cost of your electricity, so the only case that can generate you some profits that your electricity should be too cheap or free, otherwise it would just be a waste of time.
I think it depends on which country you live in, because sometimes in a country subscription price of electricity cheap enough, if the cost of electricity usage cost maybe you could use a mining, to generate a bitcoin
Mining nowadays is not good for individual businessman, you need to have a decent amount of capital for the mining rig and everything will just follow. You can compute your earnings per month considering paying of your electricity expenses and other necessary things will just come in a monthly basis.

But I tell you, live it for the big companies, there's more easier way which is more profitable which is trading.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 24, 2016, 07:42:08 AM
The first thing is that you can make some good money and the other fact is that its very enjoying to do for a couple hours a days so..
The money is the main reason as the reward is really promising  in gambling and because of that we are blinded by our chances to win. It's hard but we still do it, maybe our greediness is just the main reason why we are addicted and none other.

If we treat it for fun for sure we will not be addicted.
this greediness really make us always hungry to fulfill our lust to play over and over again, its either win or lose we just wanted to satisfied it and when we almost win greediness will enter and instead of quitting we desire to win more ended up losing everything.
We who are not satisfied with our current life will always be greedy to achieve bigger money, in gambling it's simple to try our luck but hard to win but look ourselves now, we are still in gambling hoping to win big amount of money and hoping one day we will be millionaire.
772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 24, 2016, 07:29:25 AM
Trading is very unpredictable and I think that its risky to do it but on the other hand it stays very profitable for a short term so due to that its also again worth it too.
I think that most activities, where there is the possibility of making huge profits, there is also a considerably high risk. For trading it's not different and it requires, from the investor, self-control and study, especially in a market with so many uncertainties as the cryptocurrency market.
You just said it and you are right, the higher the reward the higher the risk and only those people who are willing to trade will have a chance to be profitable. That's how it works here as there's no easy and fee money in this world. We need to learn on how to take risk.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: November 23, 2016, 11:56:53 AM
Maximize your winning by increasing your bet size/moving up in stakes only when you are ahead and winning.

Minimize your losses by decreasing your bet size/moving down in stakes when you are losing.

Always stay within your bankroll.

Double up to catch up

Scared money don't make no money.
Doubling up your bankroll is a sign of desperation, you won't be able to win in gambling if you are not discipline enough. Gambling is a very dangerous game and since we are talking of strategy we have to set up a good bankroll first.
I accept that gambling is a very dangerous online game. Here doubling our investment is very tough. And to make one good strategy first, we have to set our Bankroll. Based on this we can make a strategy. And you really play gambling to make money don't play slot games. Choose only knowledge games. These games are more profitable. My strategy is i will pick only 80+% winning games.

Yup! play sports betting instead there are a much higher possibility that you can win with it, if you are good at analyzing on sports by seeing the strength and skill of the player or a team you can most of the time win in it, and if you are good at poker because poker is a skill and luck base game there is a certain hustlers in this kind of gambling that is why you can surely win a much higher percentage.
There's a higher chance because that's what we think, but in reality we still do not have a good record yet to prove that we are successful. If you will ask me, I would be happy to lose my money in sports betting than in dice. Currently, I am down but still positive to get back on winning track.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 23, 2016, 11:53:05 AM
Hard to find odds for Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers on all betting sites not offering AH and under/over points there, so I wait till market will up there for betting, ML for those team are pretty low there and I think it will be risky to place bet on that such a low odds.

Clippers look good, real good. GS is still trying to fit all the pieces together and spread the floor time. I don't think they will all start clicking like last year until mid to late season.
I think the Warriors have already figured out how to win games, they have not lose anymore and in the past games they played really well. I can say clippers are improving since they have a good bench this season and Blake is healthy.
I think they are slowly getting there. Klay Thompson still finds himself struggling in some games because of the adjustments he has to make. This will be a good match up to gauge where these two teams are already and how much more improvement both can make as the season wears on. It would be nice to see a playoff showdown where both teams have healthy players.
I notice lately in their success, Durant is not scoring too much, instead he has a good rebound record. I guess they are allowing thompson to shoot more to find his rhythm back. when he win find it, they will be more dangerous, a lot of offense and they played the fast pace game.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 23, 2016, 11:49:48 AM
As most of you are probably aware Betking will be divesting all bankroll investors on Dec 1, so we will need to put the investment into another site.

Any recommendations?

Are there any casinos worthy of investing?

You may be looking for trouble if you invest into some unreliable stuff and it scams in the end. On the flipside, though, without Betking on board, the total profits may start declining, and you might lose interest yourself. Therefore, maybe it is better to wind up now, when you already got handsome returns?

Haha no way! This will go on for a year with the original 5 Bitcoins we allocated for the experiment!

Zero or Hero!
I admire your dedication mate, you are making a great job for sharing your experiment in here. And by the way, why would anyone stop investing if he is making handsome returns on it, investing in gambling sites are one of the profitable.

I invested a few bucks in vDice. It's Etherium based though and ICO is still going on. I wanna see how my investments ROI numbers gonna look like soon. Or maybe just scatter the former Betking investment but larger piece should be at Crypto-Games imo.
I heard vdice has a very good amount raise as of the moment, people really trust this project although I have not look too much on this but in my group they are inviting me to put my money in such kind of investment. Too risky, because it's on ICO but bigger return I guess if this succeed.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling with no lose? on: November 23, 2016, 11:46:45 AM
That is just too impossible except if you cheat. You will always lose and the house will always win. That is why it is provably fair. Just to make it sound inviting to gamblers.
Right you are it is impossible to win without losing in gambling because the site owner will not let it happen. And also because winning and losing in gambling normal because it was a game. Unless you cheat, you can win without losing.
I agree gambling is just a game and winning and losing are just part of it but how we can say winning continuously without losses must be a cheat. In a game, winning continuously is also possible we cannot call that as a cheat. Moreover, a reputed gambling site owners will definitely will allow that to happen.
If playing gambling without any loss is really possible and i agree with you hes really cheating or found some bugs on the website which you could able to get money as much as you can but it doesnt last long because owner will surely trace you out and about that bug but its not really ideal thing to do because its considered as stealing for  me better to report bugs for bounties which is somehow a legal thing.More over theres no other thing or way which we can play gambling without loss.
Definitely, a gambling site will notice it because they will not allow to lose as that is their business and main goal is to be profitable. I would not expect that someone can do that as it is almost impossible to do it. Better accept the reality and play for fun.
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: November 23, 2016, 09:49:54 AM
Today i am trading altcoins and it is very hard for making bitcoins  Grin but i will try to mining using GPU hardware, i will try other ways for making bitcoins although will be hard.
I think trading is only for people who have a knack in it, if you do not have the skills that will be the same as gambling, it might be better if you did mine, it would be better even if you do not have any skills
Trading is the great way but you need to have a capital to be able to start and we should not talk about being knowledgeable here as it is already presume that a certain person when in trading is ready enough to start.

I guess you might try micro earning like joining a campaign.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: November 23, 2016, 09:45:31 AM
Bitcoin has a long list of advantages:
1. Low fees definitely
2. Transactions are almost instant-distance isn't a barrier
3. Internationally recognized
4. Storage of bitcoins doesn't attract maintenance fees
5. Easily accepted by exchangers
"3. Internationally Recognized" I think not all countries recognize bitcoin, bitcoin banned from use in some countries. But overall I agree with you about the advantages bitcoin. If the advantage bitcoin I may add, that bitcoin fluctuation tends to increase, it will greatly benefit users bitcoin. Moreover there is no additional cost in bitcoin so we need not fear incur additional costs that drain our bitcoin.
Not all but majority of the countries knows about bitcoin already, how does anyone would not notice a certain digital currencies that values already $700+? It's amazing in their eyes, and it's even better than fiat in terms of investment.

People might treat it as investment or as a currency but it depends on them as long as they will be interested.
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: November 23, 2016, 09:42:41 AM
I really think that bitcoin is not being destroyed but instead it is growing a lot the fact that china is racing to get her hands on it shows how much it is worth it and the potential of bitcoin, and since we are on the verge of global crysis and the dollar about to lose its worth i think that the bitcoin is gona be the solution and everyone is gona start using it
The current market status is enough already to tell that bitcoin was not or is not destroyed, people are telling lies without basis but for us bitcoin supporters we know what we believe and we believe that bitcoin is the future.
