761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: September 06, 2020, 09:31:11 AM
This is best strategy when you hold something legit and good project. In this case I can only trust btc and eth. If you holding anything else then it's a big risk. In btc and eth also have risk like eth is came from 480 to 380 which is bad for traders and bad impact on market.

You could diversify that holdings more if you can.

Bitcoin and Ethereum is not just the best project in the market. I know that you just trust that two but if you really wanted to give yourself a high possiblity of earning more, you could try investing on other coins as well. Another thing is that not all drops are that bad, the price is been at its green for a while and this really happens in this market. If you ask me, this is the best time to reinvest.
762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 06, 2020, 08:49:00 AM
I guess all of these latest increases in bitcoin has finally caught up with us, there is no way that bitcoin could ever be this low without people giving up on it. I am assuming the reason why people gave up on it is the fact that we couldn't go up. We have tried to go above $12k for a long time and in the end we failed over and over again so eventually buyers turned to sellers because they couldn't make more profit when they bought so they gave up.

Moreover, there was a lot of money coming into bitcoin and then going to other stuff like DeFi or whatever and when that hype died down we have went down in the money coming in and we have increased the money coming out as well. In short if you do not make people money they are not going to be supporting you long term.
Now the market is like a bubble that can explode at any moment and investors now really only care about profit when choosing an investment. The value of Bitcoin determines all of this market but I am sure there will be plenty more corrections coming soon over the next few days. In addition, DeFi projects are falling rapidly and a lot of investors have lost large sums of money after just one day.

Obviously a lot of people wanted a profit here but I don't think it is a bubble.

Bitcoin is volatile, and I don't think this is a correction either since we are staying at $11K for a while. As you said that a lot of people lost large sums in just one day, tomorrow or the day tomorrow the opposite might happen, that is how the market moves. You didn't know how it will change, all we know if the price fell you either reinvest or just hold.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 06, 2020, 05:55:23 AM
Now it is time to get hardcore in porn. LOL, yeah any guy could love to watch porn and there are many videos that are free anyway. However, there could be more excitement getting a VIP the privilege of videos that are really great to watch. Due to identity issue of course not all like to get verified so by doing cryptocurrency payment then this would fit in watching porn getting vip privilege as anonymous.

I have also see article regarding pornhub announcement on 2018 accepting stable coin (USDT) and other altcoins. I just forget the crypto they mention.

As far as I know that privelege is not that huge.

I've been watching some videos at that platform and I can't download some of their videos which required Premium account. If you have an IDM or other download manager, you could do that. I know that instead of supporting those personalities I am doing things that could make them stop their source of income in that industry but I am just saying as a free user and it is not that I am the only doing that. Some actresses' videos require premium accounts so as a free user, you can't watch them.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: Our chance to reset on: September 06, 2020, 05:00:15 AM
Millions of death, economy falling and other things happening, how is this a blessing for you?

Good things may happen in your perspective but as a whole, our world has it rough, and then the pandemic hits. Millions of lives are taken, countries are pointing fingers, people are blaming the government, a lot of things happening. People are now realizing how powerless they can be when it comes to these times. Let's continue to be positive and face this all.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 06, 2020, 02:11:02 AM
It seems very simple but does it really work ? Did someone try it ??

Bro, it's not, I'll tell you that.

It is simple if you read it like these so I need to tell you what is hard. You are being dealt with six-deck of cards, which is 312(52*6). You need to be observant and track the cards that are being dealt with, and yeah quickly memorize all of them to eliminate them in that 312 cards. Some of the videos I watched about it says it is working but it is not a 100% working strategy since they could still lose, maybe they are losing the count.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 06, 2020, 01:01:52 AM
I got 6 but that is just because I'm a 3 at the last question.

I guess some gamblers that usually go to casinos would be really drawn out to do things they are not comfortable with like betting online. Other countries like the US might've opened their casinos but that is not the same case as to others. Some are said to create these meetups where they could gamble together by themselves like cockfighting.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 05, 2020, 01:39:57 PM
Possible reasons why you get excited over something is because of doing the same thing over and over which makes you bored and makes you wanna do other things that you might have think of like gambling for example. Everyone must have limit to everything when it comes to have entertainment.

But that could turn the other way, right?

Most of the gamblers that got addicted in gambling is denying the fact that they are actually addicted. They could say that it is just an entertainment and you and himself didn't know that. There is a limit to gambling being an entertainment because it could turn to nothing or an addiction, though I hope it is not the latter.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin replace Gold someday? on: September 05, 2020, 12:11:34 PM
Never. Bitcoin cannot replace Gold. We have to admit it. It may compete with Gold as a store of value and perhaps even become the preferred option for a short time but it will never replace Gold. Gold will always be gold. The preciousness of Gold is as old as civilization itself. And Bitcoin is not the one to make it worthless.

Absolutely right. Gold is gold and Bitcoin cannot replace it  or any other crypto currencies. Their store of value can be compared but they are extremely different in all forms. This precious tangible metal (Gold) will remain its value as the years and even decades go by...I do believe that nothing can replace it.

Bitcoin may be able to outprice Gold, but as you said, gold will be gold.

A lot of known personalities in the investing and trading community put their full trust into Gold in terms of this manner. Bitcoin for most of the people are still doubtful and some even call it a scam. The possibility is still there, people are still debating but I think it will still be Gold and it will continue running until it doesn't want to like Forrest Gump.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: September 05, 2020, 11:13:43 AM
I miss these kinds of posts guys!

As far as I know, the first thread I read about this is a member with a name with Quack on it, I kind of forget it. So, everyone has their opinion with these changes, with these sudden drops all I know is that it will keep on pushing forward and it will push harder in the incoming months as this is the best time for us to reinvest.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: There Bitcoin goes again. on: September 05, 2020, 08:55:21 AM

In the end bull market recovers and goes up again and it gets hit by a dump again yet doesn't give up and tries to go up again and again and again. That is why I keep saying that this is a good thing, let it go down every time it hits high, one day it will not have those people who want to get out.

I'm always positive in the market, everything are in place, we have just one halving finished, the pandemic has no effect in Bitcoin thank God which I consider to be it's biggest trial and investors are making a switch from other market to Cryptocurrency I still believe that it's still the case, this drop although huge after the halving is quite worrying but it will eventually get back on where it was.

Because we know the price will just bounce back.

We are also expecting this fall in the past weeks that the price of Bitcoin is sitting at $11K. It will happen, I didn't get some out since I am planning to reinvest not expecting that it will happen immediately this week but that is fine, I will just keep on holding. Bitcoin is not the only one, a lot of cryptocurrencies too are having a dive now, it is time to reinvest not just on Bitcoin.
771  Economy / Economics / Re: Famine is coming next ... on: September 05, 2020, 08:12:25 AM

Better to prepare ourselfs already and building up stockpiles. This will be so sad once people start selling a bag of apples for 100$. We should try to become self suficient again as a nation and not rely on imports all around the world.
I agree with this point. We will not be hungry and troubled if we become a self-sufficient nation and work together in mutual cooperation. Not being a crybaby nation that complains and preys on one another for the sake of selfishness.

But not all of us would be able to do that.

Without the help of other people, some of us can't stand with us. Some are not just crybabies that you would just call while you never know the reason for that cries. They are working hard, it is just that the system is not about pushing them up as they go, if they don't force their way in they will just be beaten up until they can't go.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 05, 2020, 06:29:33 AM
I can watch good videos without buying a premium account, still that might help in a way.

Still, I agree that I don't think we need to use Bitcoin in paying these premium accounts. I mean some of the people I knew are thinking that they will be buying some of my bitcoin to pay for their account, they can do it directly, and I don't understand why will they still go such lengths since they would just pay for the anonimity of their transaction which I don't think Pornhub is publicizing.

Credit cards work WAY better.

Until your mom sees the charge on her credit card.

LOL!
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: September 05, 2020, 05:50:51 AM
The government are just concerned in their citizens that is why they are creating these regulations as you said but we can't just say that it is the government's fault of having these loopholes since people are also finding a way to walk around that regulations. Also, it doens't just fall to the government's hands, it also falls to these gamblers how would they behave and control their bettings.

As from my personal experience, many gamblers are hard with that task. For many of them this is impossible burden. So only government can do something about that. As i said many times above, neither casino or gamblers are interested to be more calm in betting. For first this is business, for second - way of life and their main drug.

Thanks for sharing.

To be honest, I don't know how you people deal with addiction and I think that makes it clear since I also heard that most of them don't know or don't realize that they are already addicted to gambling. I guess the government stepping up is also a good thing but I just hope they don't really strict policies at it might lead for other gamblers to go to other online casinos.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 04, 2020, 07:22:34 AM
I support our president's initiative to fined or even send these people to jail so they will serve their lessons and people will take the President's action and orders seriously the Philippines has a very high number of infection because of the people's disobedience and lack of disciple it cannot continue or all our hospitals will be closed for lack of beds for new infected, something that the government does not want to happen.

I think it is not that they disrespect or do not want to follow the President.

Its been months since we are in this -CQ series and I think people are really itching to do things they usually do. I guess they can't just contain their urges to gamble that is why they've done that.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you're making bitcoin complicated on: September 04, 2020, 05:05:08 AM
I think you could spare them some explanation.

Yes it is not newbie-friendly, but you could answer their answers, right? What is wrong with that? Some of us, maybe most of us here even learned what is Bitcoin and how to use it by themselves proving if you really wanted to use it, you could learn as you go. I guess what should be taught to these newbies is how they would earn it. Local exchanges here in our country is easy to use, I know it would not be their bitcoins since you are not holding any private keys but they could start by converting their fiat into cryptocurrency.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 04, 2020, 03:58:41 AM
but I'd like to ask the community. Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?

It is true that it is riskier Bitcoin is volatile.

But you should consider that Bitcoin can give you bigger profits if you know what you are doing. Wait for a certain amount of time can give you a good profit that a fiat can give you in that time span. Bitcoin is also investing, investing comes with a risk and that is the same with every investment including stocks, bonds and trusts. Bitcoin is just so volatile that it can give you a profit in a short period of time.
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 04, 2020, 01:54:45 AM
Is it manipulation? or just not breaking the resistance of 12K Area?
I am shocked of this recent drop and i am a long term holder, what do you think it will happen? just a correction?

I think you are the only long-term holder that got affected by this.

If you really are a long-term holder, you should be used to these changes since this is the nature of Bitcoin. If the price dropped then we can say that people sold some of their holdings. Instead of saying that it is a manipulation, take it as an advantage since we might not see this price in the next few months, why not reinvest? If you don't want to then keep on holding.
778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: September 03, 2020, 10:49:25 AM
You have every options, just try to work with what you think you fully understand.
Crypto industry provides a lots of options if you want to succeed you better to find ways to advance yourself.
Trading or holding are both profitable only if you know how things works and how you take your advantages.

I think to be able to advance, we need to learn them.

It is true that we have every options but to keep up with those people that are earning good profits in this market, we need to do things and get out of our comfort zone. I know that it is not easy but we can learn, we can adapt. You can start holding but you should not just do that if you wanted to be better, of course you'll learn how to trade.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020 Money is king Again Good news on: September 03, 2020, 10:23:58 AM
Money is king Again!

skills, Work ethicks... And Values is Going Down and Money will rise Up school education becomes also pointless.

Only Thing what will matter is Money!!

It is true that what matters now is money, but that is why skills are important.

Right now, we need to get a way for us to earn and that also means adjusting in this pandemic, if you have a skill in some things you could do something in your home to be able to get some additional profit. If you will not adjust and just wait for this pandemic to end, you might have a hard time to adjust with the incoming months.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: September 03, 2020, 09:07:29 AM
It may be possible in the future but not at view for now. Adoption of digital payment is still at infant stage

I don't think so.

As long as there are money in the circulation, there will always be a bank. Even if the we are mainly using digital currencies in the future, I think banks are still in that future. I don't think that we will be seeing a future where Bitcoin is the main currency we are using, it may be adopted or explode in the future but I don't think it will take down banks.
