761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or investment! What's your take? on: July 15, 2023, 06:35:51 PM
I personally focus more on investing, considering that my trading skills are not yet good. by investing, I just hold it until the bullrun comes. especially now that I work as an employee, so for trading I don't get much time. but that doesn't mean I don't trade, I learn to trade but that's for long term goals, considering it's not easy to do, in my opinion. but I'm sure trading can later be used as a preparation after I'm not working as an employee, bearing in mind that of course my productive period in my current field of work certainly has its period, moreover I work as a private sector
How long you have been trading? If it's been for too long already and you still didn't improve a lot, I think that only means trading isn't really for you. If yes, then maybe you can decide to quit your job earlier because you know that you can benefit with it more. On your current situation. You are busy but you still can trade when you arrive from work or on your rest days. I think you are a short term trader only because it wasn't your priority.

It's great to have other income streams so that once unexpected happens like we got laid off from our jobs or our term has ended already, we still have something to get while we hunt for another job again.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 15, 2023, 05:39:15 PM
Manchester United recent advancement and top fur finish are undeniable signs that Erik ten Hag has made positive modifications. But in the next seasons he will unavoidably face higher expectations. The team will be encouraged to achieve new heights by the board expected demand for a consistent title challenge. Regarding their hopes of playing in the Champions League their first objective should be to successfully go through the first few rounds of the new format and qualify for the round of 16. While accomplishing all of these goals is not impossible doing so is an incredibly difficult endeavour that calls for even higher performance levels. Utilising the transfer window effectively should be a primary focus for United in order to increase their chances of achieving these lofty goals, especially with the purchase of a quality center forward.p
Arrival of Erik ten Haq improved performance and quality of the Manchester United which is good chance for them after long time now things are going more improved because he is learning from his last season mistakes and trying to fix all things which give them problems in last season with this as they are doing hopefully now they could be title contender in next season which is surely going to be more interesting because now they are at their best and surely can challenge champions Manchester City as well.

With the entry into Champions League and also fighting for the league title is surely going to be tough but as they are having enough quality players hopefully we will have them at their best few new players are going to be brought back glory days with their quality performance.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in memecoins profitability on: July 15, 2023, 05:33:23 AM
No coin deserves to be bought because they will all end up the same or you will lose everything.  I really don't understand how anyone can buy a product that is grossly created to steal money
I agree with you, because meme coin has a very big risk and of course meme coin doesn't have a product (useless), so the price goes up just because of fomo or hype, that's why rather than you invest in meme coin (big risk), then it's better for you to invest in projects that have useful products and my recommendation is Ethereum and Binance, because I'm sure the price of Ethereum and Binance will definitely continue to increase very high in the future, so now is the right time to invest in Ethereum and Binance, because the price is dropping (correction), so you can buy Ethereum and Binance at a cheap price at this time.
I'm not really sure about BNB because the case on Binance US isn't over just yet and we are yet to hear a verdict about that and which might negatively or positively affect the price of BNB, so a very good and safe choice would be ETH that will surely go up once Bitcoin starts going up, and there can be more altcoins that might be worth investing but one needs to remember that they shouldn't hold altcoins for very long but sell them when they see a profit.

I've never been a fan of meme coins anyway but when I see people pouring in money like water, I just start thinking about whether people don't love their money or they think it's simply okay to lose more money because they can easily save this money if they don't invest in meme coins.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 14, 2023, 08:26:43 AM
Milan not having any good young players up top is definitely a big deal but I also think that it is going to end up with them being a bit different in the end as well. We can't really make sure that it is going to be a tough situation for them just to get a striker, they should be able to do so. I am not saying get a world star level player, but at least get some 25 year old or younger player that can play on the cup games and league games when the ones they have are tried.

Like Giroud is a great player but he is 100 years old, he is not going to be able to play all that many games and if given the chance he could potentially end up retiring as well, so him being their starter is really not a good idea if you ask me.
After winning title in 21/22 Milan were never been at their best and this all happen just because of their finances which are currently the biggest issue and if they are not going to spend now then surely in next season 23/24 things could be worst for then as now we have few teams with good changes and better players can bring them down from top four which could be surely disaster for them incoming years, but their performance in Champions League was also good which is surely creating good atmosphere for them and as promise by Milan president if they spend some good funds and able to bring few good players then surely we can expect good fight again in nest season right now we have Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli and AS Roma as toppers but can they join them it's surely needing good spending from them in next few weeks.
765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 13, 2023, 05:36:46 PM
Trading is a risky business where greedy people often face losses. Trading is not as simple as it sounds, there are many tricks hidden in it which if not known will result in 100% loss. Investing is easier than trading because the investment is held for a long period of time in a permanent way until the profit comes. But in the case of trading, it is not possible to profit by trading if you don't know the strategy about the different chart of the market. A new trader should have enough ideas when he thinks about earning by trading. It is possible to make substantial profits by trading if one has a good understanding of the market and avoids losses. Otherwise trading without following different directions in the market must be risky and losses are normal.
Trading is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, especially if we talk about day trading or scalping which means that you buy and sell assets within a very short period of time to book some profits, which is what almost every single trader does when they say they are traders, you can barely find people who do long term trading like holding for a week or so so that the profit margin goes higher than the short-term trades we discussed earlier.

Having enough knowledge and experience is obviously required to become a trader or a successful trader, without enough knowledge about the market and the cryptocurrencies, and also not knowing the tools and analysis techniques will make you have a hard time trading different cryptocurrencies.
766  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: July 13, 2023, 05:40:32 AM

It’s rare since reputable casino typically don’t care much on a win of a player since they are getting profit on other losing players to recover lose from winners. There are instances like this in the past but from a not established casino. I think the most popular case like this from a popular casino is the issue Betfury retroactive changing of commision percentage on the referral. Betfury change the percentage on their ToS without informing the user that already earned the commission for the changes happened.
Most of the reputable casinos really does not care on the winning pf the players simce their systems are probably fair and their know that the players will win as much as they lose so it is two ways, but those that have no reputation will simply make excuses and to the point of mandating the players to either go through endless KYC verification process and also locking the customer to either withdrawal or make bets with rhe amount won.

But then also we have to be prepared for whatever happens and to lessen our risks, we have to rely much on reputable casinos only to guarantee wins.
Though there is never any guarantee of winning, it's true that one shouldn't rely on new and untrustworthy casinos because anything can happen these days when there is so much competition in the business so are so many scams, that is why one cannot believe a casino that is newly released and doesn't even have a lot of gamblers using the platform, instead of using a casino like that, one should simply go with an already reputable one to stay safe.

I don't blame all the newly launched platforms for not being trustworthy because all the casinos that have a good reputation and a lot of trust among the community were launched newly but since it carries a lot of risk, one should always be vigilant about which platform they are choosing.
767  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price hitting 30k twice this year. on: July 12, 2023, 05:50:31 PM
In my opinion, the Bitcoin price increase which reached $30k twice in the first quarter of 2023 indicates significant market volatility. While there is no guarantee that the price will rise above $40k or continue to rise, I do feel that the current rise is an indication that Bitcoin has the potential to reach even higher price levels later this year.
And what about now? It is at $30k and it has been there for quite some time now, it has even touched $31.5k once or twice recently, but it couldn't hold it or break through it but came back down soon after that. Now the price isn't going up nor coming down, those who have been waiting to buy their favorite assets are on hold more right now because they don't know whether the price will go up or come down from this point, so they are just waiting.

We know and expect that the price will go higher than this point sometime this year, but the chances are also that it might not happen in case the price drops below $30k and goes around $25k, it will probably take a longer period to get back to this point again and then go beyond it.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Know the Next PEPE on: July 12, 2023, 05:20:18 PM
I remembered before when pepe coin started pre-selling I was just laughing because what I had in mind was shitcoins, then when I found out after pre-sales that a large amount was raised, I said in my mind those poor investors had a large amount in Pepe Coin will going to regret for sure, but I was wrong.

After that incident, investors and manipulators enjoyed it even more until I found out that it was immediately listed on Binance, I regret so much that I didn't even buy even 50$. So after the Pepe coin incident, I changed my opinion on meme coins. Because even though those are meme coins, if the average of its investor's community is large and its volume market cap is high, it is possible to keep up with the top coins in the market in the future.
It's basically a gamble, who knows that if you had invested and the coin turned into a scam or couldn't gain enough hype to raise that much money or gain a significantly high value to make people millionaires? So you can never know, meme coins are not comparable with valuable cryptocurrencies because they don't grow organically but their growth is dependent on community hype and if a coin doesn't get enough hype, they die very soon.

So even though they can be too much profitable sometimes, most of them, maybe 99%, tend to fail and don't provide any profits to their investors and they just keep the millions or tokens they've bought and keep waiting for the price to go up which never happens if it failed initially.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not decentralized on: July 12, 2023, 09:51:03 AM
In short decentralization for bitcoin is like anonymity for mixers you just add another layer of security for investments but this doesn't mean that mixers don't record your data like chipmixer did, and also it doesn't mean that bitcoin is 100% decentralized as you saw it just needs huge power to have it ruined and that is a good reason to use it
Binance was about to ruin it and they wanted to do it but they couldn't do it obviously, and though it's possible to gain control of the blockchain if you acquire 51% of the total mining power, it's not a joke to be able to achieve that especially with how many people and companies are mining these days, the difficulty to gain that much mining power is too high and it would cost too much money for someone to do that, and even after that, one cannot really have access to anyone's wallets but they can only have access to incoming and outgoing transactions.

And Bitcoin is called decentralized because it was created and is running independently, there is no one that can make any changes to the original blockchain or control the coins in circulation or those that are mined, so basically, it is decentralized, and all that you say are just possibilities with no actual outcome seen so far.
770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: July 11, 2023, 05:05:53 PM
That's because most of the people doesn’t follow the proper way of investment, rather they take crypto as gambling for change luck overnight and at the end, they lost their money and creating such memes. Although that memes are right, from the point of view  during crash of crypto market. People lost a lot even who held potential coins. But after some years, crypto pump again incredibly. So people who had hold crypto with patient, never get disappointed at the end.
Actually, people who invest high amounts in meme coins tend to make such memes when they have lost their investments because not all meme coins gain significant value over time and they only do it in their initial phase when they are heavily hyped by the community. Those who choose proper cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and have enough patience to wait until the market enters the bull run, won't face any losses at all.

It basically depends on how much knowledge and information one has about the cryptocurrency market and how it basically works, those who enter the market without any knowledge and make investments without much thought and understanding tend to lose money in the long run.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 11, 2023, 04:56:31 AM
To be honest Ashes have been given a boost with the return of Wood and Woakes. And because of this result Ashes series has certainly lived up to all the expectations and excitement. It's truly a thrilling contest between two great rivals. England managed to perform well on their home ground in the third test and won, but unfortunately, their decision-making in the first two tests backfired on their performance. As it stands, Australia is leading the series by 2-1, and we'll see if England level the series at 2-2 in the fourth test.
English selections policy is never been good for themselves as they have too many quality players but mostly wasted and have no good achievements in their career because they never give them proper playing time and their domestic system which is also now burden with too many injuries and other problems are hurting them badly Mark Wood and Chris Woakes entry was massive booster for them and these both turn the tables for their team which was going down badly.

Hopefully now in fourth test which is having good gape will be played at Manchester England will go with this deadly combination instead of going with James Anderson which is completely down in this series with no good performance and surely age factor is also having impact on his performance, but Stuart Broad is surely at his best with leading wicket-taker hopefully he will complete his 600 at Manchester and also give his team second win of this series.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 10, 2023, 04:53:25 PM
Now let's be sincere, will you also classify a successful gambler as an addict?
If you say successful gambler, it means the gambler won huge and able to beat the house so I don't think it can be classify as an addict. Often, an addict is an uncontrollable gambler who face significant losses. But despite this, still continue playing without limit and usually doesn't care even the money that he/she spent is not meant for gambling.

On the other side, successful gambler had a good result in gambling. Therefore it's worth the time, effort and money spent since in the end this gambler is not a loser. Moreover, it can happen to win huge even the gambler is not frequently playing.
Successful gamblers won't become like that if they don't spend so much time creating a strategy and finding more ways on how to improve their gameplay. Then will practice for longer hours. Lastly, they will now apply what they learn on the real game but it can still take lots of trials and errors before they master the game.

I guess it's safe to say that they are still an addict but not that worse as the other type of addicted gamblers who knows nothing but to lose more money. Like we said earlier a successful gambler can win in a casino often but I think this is not enough to say that they beat it. Not all gamblers are like them so the casino can still earn more than these successful gamblers.
773  Economy / Economics / Re: I cannot go home if I don't make a lot of money now!! on: July 10, 2023, 03:11:01 PM
It seems that you grew up in a negative environment. As a grew up my i never experienced to be scared on failing my grades because my parents did not set a very high expectation. They just let me study and supported me weather i get a  high or low grade. They do not demand and pressure me to study very hard and get this grades. This is just a suggestion do not do to your children what you had experienced when you are growing up. Being in that kind of situation it can affect their mental health and the fear deep inside them will grow and it will stays in their heart and mind forever. For you to be able to make a lot of money you have to find other means like finding a side job, creating your own business etc. If you will pursue your target goals then you will be able to earn a lot of money. Just be patient and work hard.
The way he was raised was way too negative for a kid to be raised and what he is going through is evidence for what he has been through in his childhood. According to him, it was his mother who has been so harsh on him which is another thing one cannot believe because generally it's fathers who are harsh on their children so that they learn the things the hard way and have a better future but this is something different.

Those parents who are harsh on their children on another level need to understand that this thing will have a negative impact on their minds in the future and they will be very vulnerable to even the small things and this negativity will never get out of their head just like what's happening with OP.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: July 10, 2023, 02:35:39 PM
bro it's an insane thing, imagine you follow some official tokens/protocol, etc and you see them tweet a giveaway, most people will give in already and they don't realize yet, that their account got hacked with Simswap or something.

The bottom line for that thing was to not be greedy, if it's too good to be true then maybe it is too good to be true.
Social media platforms are full of scams these days, and it's not only about Twitter, I know that there are way too many scammers on Twitter mainly scamming users for airdrops and token sales by creating fake accounts and fake websites but if you look at Facebook as well, you will find an enormous amount of scammers as well which are always looking for victims and mostly newbies get to become their victims because of lack of knowledge.

People who are greedy are usually more vulnerable to such scams because they think that they can gain a lot of money out of thin air like it's that easy to earn money but in reality that's now how it works, a lot of newbies think that cryptocurrencies are a way to earn a lot of money very easily.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin on: July 09, 2023, 06:55:40 PM
Since I joined this forum I have always wanted to invest in Bitcoin however Bitcoin investments in my country is not easy because of our currency value and the government is not in much support am currently working on convincing my mom to accepting Bitcoin in her tailoring shop i Also intend on hodling those Bitcoins

I would appreciate any advice on this my move
Is Bitcoin banned in your country? If it isn't, why does it matter if the government is in support of it or not if you want to buy it? If you can't access centralized exchanges and they don't provide services in your country, that simply means that cryptocurrencies are banned in your country, and if that is the case, you shouldn't force your mom to accept Bitcoins at her shop as that would be illegal and she can get in trouble, and she would also not get any payments in Bitcoin if it's banned there.

And if that isn't the case, I don't see what's stopping you from creating an account on Binance and simply buying Bitcoins with whatever money you have if you have any, the value of the fiat currency of your country doesn't really matter as long as you have the minimum amount that you can use to buy Bitcoins which is $10 equivalent when it comes to Binance spot market.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting an MBA before starting a company or directly starting a company? on: July 09, 2023, 06:29:32 PM
Well, your success isn't dependent on what you've done in the past and what you are doing right now, it's not even subject to what degrees you have and what knowledge you've acquired, it simply comes when the time is right and when you have done the right things at the right time, otherwise, no matter how hard you work or how many degrees of high level you have, you are not guaranteed to get success at all, it's just a matter of time.
But that does not mean you should stop acquiring knowledge and also trying out every opportunity that life gives you. If you just wait for the right time to come, it will never come. You have to go out and seek for that right time. You are talking about successful people, you only see their success but not the struggle they have been through to get that. If one has never acquired any knowledge throughout his entire life, how is he going to do anything to become successful?
Knowledge holds a higher value in our life. But degrees do not have the same value. One with many degrees could still be unsuccessful and have less knowledge compared to the one who has experience. We need to keep trying and not just wait for the right time. Because we don't know when it will come and through what.
It definitely doesn't mean one should stop acquiring knowledge, but knowledge isn't subject to having a degree, you can be knowledgeable about a particular subject without having a degree in it, and you might not have enough knowledge about it even if you have a degree in it. So gaining knowledge and getting a degree are two different things. A lot of people learn a lot of things even if they don't get formal education, does that mean they are not knowledgeable?

So the point is, that your success isn't dependent on how many degrees you have or how much formal education you have in your life, it all depends on your knowledge and experience and doing the right things in the right way and at the right time, that is how you can get success in life.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: July 09, 2023, 06:04:23 PM
I was also buying eth but now i am in profits. I want sold eth in bull market even till i couldn’t buy another one. This coin is very trustful so we can wait easily utill bull market. But we couldn’t bought new coin for long time invest then we can loss assets. My opinion said really this is best time for old coins.
Your sentences are contradicting each other, you first said that it's trustful which means trustworthy coin and then you said that we couldn't buy new coins for long-term investments as we can lose our assets, which is what I'm confused to understand. If the coin is trustworthy, why shouldn't we buy new coins for the long term? It can generate great profits, it is the second largest cryptocurrency and the main thing is it has got community's trust.

So I don't really think we cannot use ETH as a long-term investment, maybe not as long as Bitcoin but it is obviously trusted enough to be held for about a few years until the market hits the bull run and you get your desired profits, that is when you should sell all your assets and take profit.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 09, 2023, 01:45:06 PM
No matter how much we say Mbappe will leave the club as a free agent but in reality it is very difficult. Because how do we think with a star like Mbappe where the club is supposed to make money, the PSG management will let him join another club as a free agent member. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has given Mbappe a condition that if he wants to stay with PSG for another season, he must renew the argument, but if he does not want to stay with the club, he can leave for any club at the moment. Because if Mbappe moves to a club now while the contract is still in place, PSG will definitely get a benefit, and PSG has added such a condition to Mbappe to achieve that benefit.
the PSG president is a smart person, he knows that he will not be able to keep mbappe longer at PSG, when mbappe's contract runs out then he will go to madrid so that as long as mbappe is still under a PSG contract, they should be looking for big money from  sale of mbappe, reportedly madrid is ready to spend fantastic money to make mbappe to their team.

madrid still haven't found a potential replacement for benzema and mbappe is a good candidate, mbappe is madrid's main target, they will always be waiting for mbappe's next challenge.
PSG management understand value of Kylian Mbappé and his desire for the Real Madrid just because of this PSG president already give deadline to him for deciding about his future with most chances he will not extend his contract and leave this club but sadly on other side we have few rumors about Real Madrid finances are not allowing them to buy him on this current price which is also issued for them if they fail to do this right now then surely we will have Mbappé in England with top few English clubs are also linked with him, but this could be surely not good for the Real Madrid because if any English club bought him on current price then surely they will have contract for the four or five years and this could be worst as Real Madrid's desire for bringing him to their club right now just few weeks to decide about this all and take advantage instead of going for bringing him as free agent which is not going to happen.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: July 08, 2023, 04:18:06 PM
And you can't remove that fact, house edge will continue killing you unless you have that long lasted luck that will allow you to win from time to time, but it's again questionable as there's no lasting luck in terms of gambling, it's more on how you control yourself especially your emotions when playing, with good control and sets of limitation maybe you will be able to earn some from each session that you will going to play.
The first and second part of your post seem to be contradictive. If the house edge is the reason for players to be losing money, then how will controlling their emotions make things any different? It could be preventing them from getting carried away and losing more money, but it won't shift the edge in their favour.

I think hoping for a "good luck" is what makes people keep gambling, as pretty much everyone is aware that the odds are stacked against them. Some people don't even care about the house edge. Many games (online or physical) don't even have any disclosure on what the house edge is (e.g. many slots games) and often times even a customer service won't be able to tell you if you ask.
I think what he means, is that we will take a break first. I tried it and I can see that I'm doing well than if I gamble all my balance all the way. The catch is, I can only do this if I am lucky to win a nice amount but if my sessions starts as a loss, I can't help but to just continue. My balance was only small anyway so I think it's useless if I will stop.

Other than hoping for a good luck, people also play for a good time. For those who play the other way, odds are important for them. It would be better for a casino to be transparent and display them and it's better to be fair or have a small odds only because those who play for profit will always consider this.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: What could Elon Musk be buying next? on: July 08, 2023, 12:41:35 PM
it doesn't look like there are any new projects to be developed yet or to be purchased, I think he will continue to focus on the existing ones. It can be seen that currently, he are continuing to update the rules on Twitter, especially looking for income for the pocket of Twitter users, who really want to be given special advantages with paid facilities.
where by limiting free users with very strict rules on twitter, he wants to be able to make money from his VIP users, where he knows that there are quite a lot of twitter users and he can make money for his wallet.
the world of twitter has enough to complain about the many rules it has made by continuing to give posts indicating it doesn't like it by means of these restrictions.
Well, I'm not really sure if he is going to be earning a lot of money through the users on Twitter but I guess if this continues and people start disliking his decisions more regarding Twitter and its rules and stuff, there might be another alternative platform developed by someone in the tech world so that people can migrate from Twitter to that platform to avoid all these rules and regulations which are stopping people from accessing all the features and using the platform the way they could before.

The decision of removing all the blue ticks and offering blue ticks to everyone for a price has already made everyone pretty angry since it wasn't a good decision at all, now almost any person can have a blue tick on their profile which has made the blue tick useless which used to be a symbol of recognition before.
