761  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: August 27, 2021, 11:35:33 PM
The saddest experience I have had in relation to the fall in the price of bitcoin was when the pandemic was declared on March 10, 2020. I told myself if I spend all my bitcoin and some altcoins then it will all have been worth it, because my duty is to take care of my family and protect it.
But fortunately the crypto market changed for the better, I did not spend all my bitcoin and I still have my altcoins which are few because I do not need so many.
There is no need to panic, we lose money if we sell our bitcoin or any other crypto that we have.

In this market, losing is always inevitable. You can't achieve success without losing. And even if you are already gaining, losing is always there. Because in this market, the price is very volatile and no one can actually give precise prediction of the price. So all are fair in this market. Unless, you get involved with coin of very small market cap that the team behind can easily manipulate their prices.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1inch Network - a distributed network for decentralized protocols on: August 27, 2021, 10:47:06 PM
1inch Network expects to raise $70 million based on the results of the Series B funding round and receive an estimate of $2.25 billion. The funds received will be used to hire new employees and expand the product line. https://www.theblockcrypto.com/daily/115771/1inch-network-series-b-plans-2-25-billion-valuation

What you said is the right company should expand its team in order to develop more products and it will surely help the company to attract more new customers to 1inch network, governance distribution is one of the best products for attracting more customers.

I have never tried using this exchange yet, so I am really curious what is the major edge of this exchange over other DEXs? Why is this exchange earning interest from traders? Is this because of other services other than the trading itself?
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARIVA — Cryptocurrency for travel & tourism payment and reward system. on: August 27, 2021, 09:58:05 PM
After the improvement of ETH, transactions on it can be even cheaper and more accessible than on any other blockchain. And there are many more users who may be interested in your project. Why did you decide to use the BEP20?
You are either tired or very tired of life😁😁😁 The BEP20 infrastructure is now more advanced than you might imagine. And I think that ethereum has found a new competitor in the face of binance.
That's for sure. Binance is a real monster that buys up startups in the crypto industry and chooses the tidbits: CMC, TrustWaller, Coin98, etc. Binance budgets are incredibly large. I think that ETH is not even a competitor for Binance. Using BEP20 was the right decision.
I'm more interested in the following. You have chosen a travel niche at the time of the covid-19 pandemic. DO YOU understand that now is generally a bad moment for tourism?

Actually, tourism industry is just starting to pick up. But once countries are getting high percentage of inoculation of their citizens, I believe they will start to accept more tourists. It is fine to start right now, because at least they can improve their services and they have to get fully prepared once tourism is in full force. But so far, most blockchain related tourism projects are not really successful. So let us see how far they can go from here...
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big sad on: August 27, 2021, 09:23:36 PM
I havnt been paying attention to the price of my crypto due to school, and other stuff going on.

don't do that, whenever you buy any cryptocurrency keep an eye on it, your money is needed and for that reason it also deserves the same attention you give to school and other things

A month ago I turned 2/3 of my cardano into bitcoin. I looked today to check my gains/losses. I would have doubled my investment if I kept my cardano. I am not gonna let it get to me, but it could have been pretty cool if I held it. hats off to the people that have the patience to hold coins going nowhere for a while.

What if you had lost 50% of your investment? this could also have happened, so don't think too much about it, you couldn't have known

That is very right, you wouldn't know what will happen to their market. Just lucky that ADA is in good position because it is really a promising network. But if it has been a different alt, it may go down without you knowing their market movement. So lesson learned also, if you are a holder of any coin, make sure that you are diligently keeping up their updates so you will not be left behind. Because most alts, they died easily and you have no way of recovering your investments if it happens.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚔️🎮👑[ANN] Ember Sword - The Blockchain-Enhanced Free to Play Fantasy MMORPG 👑 on: August 26, 2021, 10:12:57 PM
Hey team BSS! A thread update would be awesome Wink

Their site is still up but it has been more than couple of years that they haven't visited this thread. And gaming community is very active these days. They are offline right now in twitch. But they are still active in twitter - https://twitter.com/PlayEmberSword. So it means, this gaming platform is still up and running. But don't know if there are users here who are playing on this site?
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token in wallet on: August 26, 2021, 09:43:28 PM
Actually this is a big scam, scammer using bsc wallet not using Eth wallet due to high fee. Greedy persons are always a victim of scam. As per my advise don't connect you wallet with the scam token website other wise your wallet will be empty. Don't add this token in your wallet if its in bscscan then its ok no issue. My question is same how to remove these token.

As you can't remove these tokens, just ignore them and don't mistakenly connect your wallet as it may incur loss of funds. Also, for example the EVER token, I have no idea why I also received this, but upon viewing the contract, there is warning statement already. So before being excited that you got free tokens that you can sell, investigate first. Doing quick research won't hurt rather than losing your funds from your wallet.

767  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is not limited till buying Bitcoins, it is beyond this. on: August 25, 2021, 11:59:58 PM
There are several opportunities here if they just look around. Even if you were left behind by some good opportunities, there's always something that will come up so you can take advantage of the market. Also, in this market, there's no right or wrong entry, as long as you know your strategies you can get profits on this market. And with the current hype in NFTs, you just need to wisely select which platforms you are going to invest with.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Notice your emotion on: August 25, 2021, 10:59:55 PM
It's like that if we decide to become active traders. but if we decide to become investors, then we will not often see the prices that occur every day on the coins we have. it's just that we'll see in a few months/years about the price of the coins we have. so in essence if we invest there will be less risk of loss than being an active trader

But don't forget to follow the updates the coins that you invested with. Because if not, you will be surprised if the project has been abandoned already or their site is already gone. This happened to so many alts so you need to keep up with their developments.

Also, in terms of trading, once you execute your trade, move on, don't check again and again if what you did is right. Because you will go crazy if you will do that, especially if the coin's value increased after you traded. I learned my lesson on that part.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoins Be Cashed? on: August 25, 2021, 12:21:30 PM
Every country has its own rules of government. Some countries legalize bitcoin, some are semi-legal and some are closing bitcoin circulating in their country, but I believe the future of bitcoin will be better considering the rapid development of technology and cryptocurrencies.

And there will always be countries that will accept the cyrpto-related businesses such as crypto-exchanges. But with the current rate of adoption, positive approach is seen from several countries like El Salvador. I believe, there will always be a way how to convert your btc to your local fiat, if worst scenario comes. But nowadays, very rare that you will encounter countries that are totally banning crypto transactions.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in 2017 again? How do you feel about the price chart today? on: August 24, 2021, 11:19:26 PM
The next halving is expected to happen in 2024. Before this event, I think that the price will easily reach $100k level. And it will even move on to higher levels. And I can't even imagine what can happen after halving. Maybe it won't affect the price in a short time. But after some months, Bitcoin price could reach even much higher levels.

For now, I'm happy about Bitcoin's movements. They seem to be promising for a new ATH soon.

No one can exactly know what will happen in that momentous event for bitcoin. But after halving, the expectations of most is it will further increase its value. However, you need to prepare for any worst scenario possible. At least, you already cover all the bases and no regrets for being prepared. But I'm happy that bitcoin is doing good despite of the China banning the miners. Seems that Chinese miners are finding their new homes somewhere else.
771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2021, 09:47:43 PM
I need did this recently when I buy my team on Axie and yeah, this is too risky especially if you don’t have extra fund to pay for that loan when the project you invest with was a scam, fortunately I did the right decision and now I already paid my loan and still earning with my investment, sometimes its ok to borrow if you know you can make money out of it, but if not better not to do so. This is not advisable though, only a risk taker should do this and make sure that you can still pay that money even if you lose your capital.
What you did is too risky.

AFAIK, it's still risky and the same as borrowing for buying bitcoin. But with what I knew about that investment you got in, the return was good before and during the hype.

And if you just did that a few weeks ago, you're going to have a long time before your ROI.

Not many people can take the same risk because you have no idea if the project will succeed or not. Good thing for him, Axie is gaining its momentum and those early investors are really getting their profits already. However, this situation is not for all. I won't advise taking a loan even if it is for bitcoin investment. As you don't know the time when you are going to cash out, if that time period is favorable to you or not, you may end up selling the investments at a loss, who knows?
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price last until the end of the year? on: August 23, 2021, 11:05:37 PM
Since a few months ago, a lot of people have been having discussions about the price of Bitcoin whether it will reach the price of $50K. Precisely today, the Cryptocurrency market seems to answer the analysis of many people about the price of Bitcoin that today Bitcoin has reached $50K. Will the price last until the end of the year or will the price of Bitcoin go back down.
We just hit the price of $50k and right now we are unable to sustain on this level though this is normal at first and I’m sure Bitcoin will still try to go above $50k and I’m confident now that it will happen. We can’t be sure if this price will last until the end of the year, let’s just hope for this one and continue to analyze so you can confirm if this is possible or not.
Yes this is unpredictable even in the coming months we can't say this accurately but the chart analysis can help you decide either to hold or just do trading because this market is active again especially with Bitcoin. We still have 4 months before the year end, a lot of things can still happen keep your eyes in the market especially with the good coins, they might breakout soon and that's a good opportunity to buy.

Giving price is really hard as no one can tell what will happen to the market. Even the daily prediction is quite tedious if you are doing the daily trading. One good news, we will see the price pumping, however, one bad news, it can decline to thousands of dollar in minutes. So nope, no one can give you what will happen next. Anyone can give their prediction but it doesn't mean that it will surely happen.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highest APY/APR on ERC/BSC? on: August 23, 2021, 08:17:20 PM
OP, I suggest you CAKE pool, automatic restaking pool now give %91.46 APY. You can't find better APY than this one.
I found this one called Position Exchange, they are giving like 600% APY. I have been doing that from 3 days now, but I thought there might be some big APY than them. I will stick with them for now Cheesy

Yeah we see very big APY's in early days of new platforms but they don't prove their quality. Most of the time they run away with funds or you see flash loan attacks or something like that, usually an insider scam attempt rather than hack. Be careful about those copy platforms, you might lose all your money while your only purpose was to make money.
I suggest you to withdraw your base deposit and play with your earned money only. I checked their website, looks okay but %600 APY is nowhere near sustainable obviously.
I clearly understand what you mean however I stake daily and take out my rewards and initial investment. So going pretty good so far Cheesy

High APY platforms may not be sustainable in long term. They have high APY in the early days but you need to look after a month or so, because that's when they usually decline their numbers. It is better to get your initial investments back and just work on your profits. At least, anything that the team will do, rug pull or any scamming tactic, you already secure your funds. Because investigate why they are offering high APY, do they have active use case that people will really utilize their platform?
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Foundation Officially Relaunches on: August 22, 2021, 11:18:28 PM
OP should give a link or reference to this so people know what he is talking about -

https://www.fxstreet.com/cryptocurrencies/news/dogecoin-foundation-relaunches-as-vitalik-buterin-and-elon-musk-representative-join-as-advisers-202108180322

https://www.dailyadvent.com/news/1b2c60c241006e8ab15973d1a4f1a4c5-Dogecoin-Foundation-relaunches-as-Vitalik-Buterin-and-Elon-Musk-representative-join-as-advisers

This development is good for doge holders as it is giving good direction for the seemingly idle platform. We thought nothing is happening after Elon announced before about possible collaboration with the doge team. With Vitalik as one of the advisers, we are hoping that there will be real progress in terms of development of this coin.

So, finally the date for AMA Series Crypto Library's with GoMeatToken is settle, The opportunity to get live answers directly, I hope many of people will participate in this event. The date is on 23 August at 2 PM UTC, will take place in https://t.me/CryptoLibraryDiscussion
Anyway there's a reward like usual another AMA for the best question, so make sure don't miss it. https://twitter.com/CryptoLibrarys/status/1429062650130886657

This event is showing that the team is serious in exploring this business. With this pandemic, we need platforms like this so we can assure the quality of the foods that we are buying are good. We haven't seen any food related project to be successful integrating blockchain tech, so hoping that their motivation will not wane thru time. Of course, there will be bottlenecks but hopefully they can materialize their mission here.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2021, 11:41:27 PM
Well we have always seen bitcoin dominating the crypto market, and also leading the way for altcoins, but some coins in the crypto market are independent and pump at it's own time even when bitcoin is in a dip, but let's all bear in mind that if a big crash occurs in bitcoin then surely all others coins are going down as well, because bitcoin got the highest level of trust and people believe the fact that if bitcoin is going down then all others coins are doing same as well. Recently I can say the bitcoin dominance isn't that strong as before because we can see some altcoins pumping higher than bitcoin.

This is true, some alts have their own world in this market. Especially those pump and dump coins, which we really need to avoid at all cost. This is why some are independent on btc market, because it depends on the team managing it. And sadly, most of them will exit in no time. But bitcoin will still remain, so it is better to stick with btc rather than unfamiliar alts running their own scheme.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HoneyX | The OnlyFans of cryptocurrency on: August 21, 2021, 11:21:14 PM
HoneyX is trading at all-time high (ATH). 3 million market cap in no time! Get in now to maximise your gains!

That's great news. Hope it will continue to go higher so when we get the airdrop it would be worth a lot!

HoneyX is up 120% in the last 7 days and still growing!

Seems that the team has funds to begin with and also, they can attract traders here. But wondering if they can indeed attract actual users of their platform. Cryptocurrency is a good payment for this type of business because you will maintain your anonymity if you know how to handle your crypto. So watching if this platform will really hit it off in the market, in terms of application and not ending up in trading only.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Litecoin ever reach $1k? on: August 21, 2021, 10:49:46 PM
I'm surprised that it's still far behind $1k. After all, Litecoin has cheaper fees and faster transaction confirmation times than Bitcoin itself. Of course, there are other altcoins that are much cheaper and faster than Litecoin. But they're not as scarce as Litecoin is.
Cheap fees means nothing for now. There are bunch of smartcontract platforms that will let you to send amount with stabibility and cheap fees just like less than 1 cent for each transaction.
People were migrating from litecoin to the another coin that give them all more utility usage.

Do you think it's possible Litecoin will reach $1k in the future? If not, why? Are current prices sustainable? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Smiley
I don't think it's possible for litecoin to reach 1k in the future. The word of silve already gone. This is not a silver again.
Litecoin didn't have interesting thing to be used by the holders. These days people care about functionality and when a coin can't give it and then people will not FOMOing it.

This is the reason why it seems litecoin is being left behind. There are now new platforms that can offer cheap fees with other services. Whereas, ltc is still the same old alt. We are not seeing any updates to what they are up to. If we will not see updates or any developments in the future, I don't think this old alt will further increase its value. Reaching $1k is still very far from its current price. Before we see that price level, we need to see some updates from the ltc dev team. Are they still in continuous innovation on this network?
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea? on: August 21, 2021, 09:44:32 PM
Actually, I heard about Staking the coins gives apy. I want to know is really a staking good idea & what will be the staking months like 1 month, six months or 1 year.

how can you ask if staking coins is a good idea? of course it's clear that staking is a very good idea, because without having to trading or anything, then you can earn money every day, so of course staking is a very good idea and definitely profitable for you, then a period of time such as 1 month, 3 month and 6 month is the time that you choose to hold your coin in staking and the longer you hold your coin in staking, then of course it will make the APY that you get will be even greater.

It is only good if you choose a very good platform. Because in time, the initial APY offered may go down day by day depending on factors like how many stakers are joining, the profits of the platform and others. Not every staking coin is good to invest with. Look for platforms that have real use case with active market. Because if they will rely on stakers alone for possible profits, the platform can easily die and so your passive income is gone.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ShinobiDoge - lets everyone become a whale and dictate the price! on: August 21, 2021, 08:59:10 PM
Invest in high quality and demanded projects like this one and you will be massively rewarded in the end

What? How did you assess that this project is of high quality and of high demand? Are you just shilling this meme token? After the OP has posted, he's gone. Don't expect that the fate of this token will follow what SHIB has achieved so far. Because the thread of the SHIB here also is abandoned by the OP himself. So don't know what would it take for this project to follow the journey of SHIB?
