761  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 30, 2017, 07:37:13 AM
I think if the price is more stable than, bitcoin would be more popular than now. Because many big players (I mean really big like retirement funds, not like Chinese player) will enter the market safer. Many people will trust and will use bitcoin, many websites, banks maybe even countries will accept bitcoin.

If I have a retirement fund, I won't put it in currencies that has a price of $0.01-0.10. It's not practical, why would I convert my cash to bitcoin if no more growth is seen, besides, retirement fund should be safe and should be put in banks and anywhere that we can use the money each time we want to use it. But as merchant, it is a good opportunity, since no more fluctuations and your price won't be moving each day.  Smiley
Yes, I am sure that the most of people here are interested with the volatility of bitcoin. I think stable price will not make bitcoin to be something special. Unstable price of bitcoin gives trader better chance to get profit.
762  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: January 30, 2017, 04:15:22 AM
Bitcoin doesn't reach such high popularity as dollar have now. And I doubt it ever will. Everything because of bitcoin is limited by 21 millions and dollar is printed nonstop. Dollar is much spreaded over the world than bitcoin. And how many people heard about bitcoin? Just little group in the all mass of people.
USD is more popular than bitcoin now because USD is not only used USA. I do no thing that the limitation of bitcoin is a problem because bitcoin can be divide in 8 decimal.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 30, 2017, 04:09:07 AM
ONLY Gold Cool

BTCis not a serious long term store of wealth.
Me too, I think the volatility of bitcoin makes people worry about it. I choose gold because it is always worth, but if in next ten years I see bitcoin price is rise high I would be regret.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: January 30, 2017, 04:06:02 AM
We can only think so, but the reality was certainly difficult to be realized, we all know that bitcoin is anonymous, all people could freely use the bitcoin, and most important is that bitcoin is still not much known and people use, so I think it is still far away.
I am sure that the user of bitcoin will be increase in the future, but USD is too strong to be replace. So many countries were saving USD as reserve currency. So I think need long time for bitcoin or anything to replace dollar.
765  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 29, 2017, 12:22:55 PM
I can say that for me the price of Bitcoin has a great importance. Ever since I had the coin, I constantly look at what the price of Bitcoin market. I need to know how much I have assets, so price is important for me

the price does really matter to all bitcoin users I guess including me, I think nowadays it is the main reason why people usually turning their money or buying bitcoin because of the price and not because of the other characteristics that bitcoin has . the price is really important especially for those who are aiming for profit in bitcoin .
Yes I agree, if the price of bitcoin rise people who buy bitcoin as investment would be happy. The price can attracts more people to use bitcoin.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: January 29, 2017, 12:15:15 PM
i don't think this can be happen or any of that incident had happened in the past...... i think your friend had read it from any online site or he is assuming it from himself but i don't think it can be happened ......
I agree with you. Bitcoin has no data center, I think hackers are can not attack bitcoin network.  Mr Satoshi is genious person.
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: January 29, 2017, 12:09:54 PM
I would tell them that it is just like $ but it is only used in the internet and will soon replace or thrive with $. You can exchange $ to bitcoins by trading 😀
It seems to be the simple way to explain what is bitcoin and how it is getting importance in all forms. If you say this to a person who have a little knowledge about digital currency they'll understand. The same thing to a person who is totally new to bitcoin won't make sense. So based upon the age group they need to be explained.
I think simple explaination is good, they do not need to understand how bitcoin works, they only need to know gow to use and earn it. Just say that bitcoin is money and you can use it to buy something.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 29, 2017, 11:59:47 AM
I don't think so. It definitely should be the future of money, but it is not because the population of the world doesn't control or decide what the currency will be, its the leaders and the governments which decide that, and they are no way in favor of bitcoin becoming the future of money.
bitcoin may or may not evolve in future.as of now, the vitality of bitcoin is not clear.
How about the democracy? if all people want to use bitcoin government have to let it. Which one is the right thing, government is who serve us or us is who serve government?
769  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: January 29, 2017, 11:49:36 AM
Investing in bitcoin is a clever decision now because very soon it's price and demand will increase as both are directly dependent on each other. So if you but bitcoin and hold got 6 months then also you could get $100 just by doing nothing but hold your $800. I think it's not a bad idea

It depends on the volume of bitcoin that you are going to buy. And no doubt that bitcoin is really a good investment nowadays because if you are that type of person that doesn't have an availability to have an investment because of lacking of funds. Then bitcoin is for you and by just simply holding it effortless, you have a chance to get profit.
Buy bitcoin earlier is better. I think for this month the low price of bitcoin is about $830-890 I am not sure that bitcoin price can be lower than this. Yeah that is my oppinion.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ORO] OroCoin ■ POW ■ Multiple Pools ■ NOVA | Cryptopia | CoinExchange on: January 29, 2017, 03:22:54 AM
I hope oro coin will listed in popular exchange soon because I am sure that the price of oro coin will rise significantly. I usualy use poloniex but ce cex is the best. I am sure that the developer is already have a good plan for this coin.
771  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: January 28, 2017, 12:19:48 PM
In my opinion the best definition (or objective) of passive income is when your money generates more money for you. For example, you give money to a business that needs funds and they pay you dividends every month. It is a passive income without a hard work.
Yes this is a good example of how passive income can be generated - getting your money to work for you. However it is not entirely without hard work, raising the money to invest in some businesses, no doubt could not have come without some hard work. The thing with generating passive income this way is that what income one gets is directly proportional to amount invested. Nevertheless, even they come in pennies, they do add up overtime.
But we still need to observe before put our money in it, just for avoid scam. Probably invest in start up stock could be good passive income. Although the best passive income is from renting house/real estate or even car. So the more assets we have the more money we will get.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: January 28, 2017, 07:21:16 AM
maybe yes.
if bitcoin hit $10.000, maybe we must pay $100 for a cup of coffe  Grin Grin
in this case with 1BTC ($100.000) we can't buy home
Fiat will automaticaly worthless because of it's inflation, just wait until government print a lot of fiat. Probably the nominal is increase but the value is the same. I think bitcoin need to be used directly to make fiat worthless.
773  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: January 28, 2017, 07:02:38 AM
Follow two principles -

Always have contingency fund

Secondly invest in such asset class which can be sold easily

Life has become very expensive. Not everyone has a reserve fund. for you are right, it should be available to all.
If I need money, I appeal to the bank
You have to avoid bank, the bank interest will make you difficult to pay your debt. I agree that we have to save a reserve fund or sell any goods that we have, when were desperate need of money.
774  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 28, 2017, 06:49:54 AM
I think in 5 years Bitcoin will be known to almost everybody on this planet, but will they be using it that's a question. I think most of them will but can't say for everyone.

Yes, I also think BTC will be known to most urban residing people, but not all in the world. Many government is and will be opposing to this currency.
And about using it, not almost everyone, but many will be using it, who are aware of it.
It seems possible for bitcoin to be used by almost everyone in 5 more years because I am sure that the infrastructure is getting better and better. USA,JAPAN and even RUSSIA were already knew about bitcoin, I think other countries will follow them for regulate bitcoin as currency.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: January 28, 2017, 06:41:32 AM
when people will more go on buying bitcoins but not selling them to some extend .selling all of them to a extend would lead to a drop in a price and this would not help to reach the goal.
Thats right. I agree with you, but there are some factor that more infuence that bring more impact. Mass adoption and halving make the price of bitcoin rise very significant.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: January 28, 2017, 03:35:34 AM
You can hold, but I suggest that you don't hold the full amount in BTC.

You can consider to use part of the fund to buy some very popular alt coins, such as LTC or DOGE, when their prices are low.

So you will be able to migrate some risks, and not solely be affected by BTC price fluctuations.
Or he can invest his 12btc in ICO project, usualy some altcoins are get famouse then the price is rise until more than 250% when the coin get in the exchange site.
777  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: January 26, 2017, 05:03:08 AM
I had invested before in HYIP but I failed until a Facebook friend share me his strategy on how to make investment profitable. We should always take note to just invest you can afford to lose only, that is very important, Don't be so greedy. Always search the site information you are joining before make a deposit, monitor it if it has a good reviews, rating and paying...
Most of HYIP is turned into a scam. I suggest you to join an ICO, I think it's good enough. I am sure that there are some developers of the ICO that have good plan for their coin.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 26, 2017, 04:51:47 AM
In the my opinion, the Bitcoin will still dominate in a few years. Currently the value of Bitcoin is huge. It is most common to many people, some countries have recognized the currency Bitcoin. However,  in the future, no one predict what, Bitcoin can be replaced by other cryptocurrency, Eth and some other currencies is promising but that is a very long time anymore. The important thing now is Bitcoin still great value
Maybe you right, bitcoin will be the number one of crypto-currency but there are some new altcoin that have really good features and I a'm sure that it's will growing too.
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: January 26, 2017, 04:09:39 AM
I don't think that china can control bitcoin because the transactions are confirmed by miners and there is a proper code for doing that.
However, I am willing to see some of the replies made on this topic.
Chinese people aren't controls all of bitcoin. They only can controls bitcoin that they have. Because they have the most of bitcoin so they can easily influence the price of bitcoin.
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: January 26, 2017, 04:03:30 AM
There are many way but ofcourse in order to make it happen, you need put some effort on it as it's not going easy because you're also compete with other people

Let say if you want to build your own shop that accept bitcoin or you can build your own gambling site , just make sure that you hire the good one
That way is need really big capital or time to learn skill that required. Investing money (bitcoin) in ICO could be great way to make your bitcoin grow because the price of the coin could be highly rise when it's get into popular exchange site.
