761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: December 30, 2020, 04:11:59 AM
After researching it , I think the while "buy Bitcoin on PayPal" is a scam at best , and could be something more sinister at worst. Basically , you cannot withdraw the crypto , which for me means that it isn't crypto at all. But after doing research , I found that you cannot EVEN PAY another person with it - you're simply buying a token that is linked to the Bitcoin price - what is the value of this ?

I believe that this could be an attack on Bitcoin - I discuss this in detail here : https://youtu.be/bApVhoTemGw

To recap :
- You cannot withdraw your Bitcoin
- You cannot Pay anyone ( ironic ) , so it can't even go to another PayPal account
- You dont own the keys

And I would like to add there is no transaction hash if you buy or sell, it's like they twisted how Bitcoin works, newbies will be disoriented if they first use Bitcoin on PayPal and then they acquire more of it through peer to peer, PayPal changed the definition of Cryptocurrency by integrating it in their platform.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: December 30, 2020, 03:54:22 AM
Congratulations to Idena as one of the most active thread here in Bitcointalk the volume is still good and so is the price I'm looking forward to activating my identity again I have a long rest mining, 2021 is going to be a good year for Idena, I'm sure of this.

Anyone here has a code to send and what's your requirement so I can have one wallet is now syncing

I have one code free if you still need it. if I understood you well, you already had validated wallet here but you left him, can you tell me why? I guess no one wants to waste invite code to someone's who it is not certain that it will be regular on the validation.
Still have one free invite if you want I will send it to you. You can contact me through PM or on telegram @examplens. I would like to be sure that is everything okay with your wallet, synchronized etc...

Thank you I have sent you a direct message I have sent you my synced wallet and my internet speed, I think my speed is just enough to download the images for verification, one of the past issues was the lag of member's connection, I hope to get the code and get verified on the next validation.

764  Economy / Economics / Re: David Rosenber: Bitcoin is in a 'massive bubble' on: December 29, 2020, 11:28:52 PM
Are they not doing enough study for them to think that it's a massive bubble, fiat's value is based on trust in who created it and so does Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is much better than fiat now because Bitcoin reputation is trusted by people around the world, the bubble issue should have been gone long ago.
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: All in the name of money making on: December 29, 2020, 11:19:57 PM
Many came into crypto space to earn money but some are too deep into making it big with crypto investment so they always feel like not getting enough when the coin they invested money in pumps high, they want to earn millions from a single project, I've seen few people ending up with nothing going down this part

The fact is you don't have to make thousands of dollars from a single project, they can always come from different projects, also it's wrong to depend on a single project

If you are investing or a bounty hunter you are going to lose a lot if you are not diversifying, diversifying is the name of the game in the Cryptocurrency market, picking the right coin and deciding the right time to sell it and buying new coins with potential or old coins with good potential for pump.
766  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: December 29, 2020, 10:49:11 PM
Too many institutions and big money behind it now!!!   Whats everyones opinion explain?BTC
I'm not ruling it out anything is possible in a highly volatile market and we have history to prove that, even if there are many institutions or whales coming and buying there are also whales and institutions that are selling for profit, so always expect the unexpected.
767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh BTC crossed 25k on: December 29, 2020, 04:02:09 PM
BTC is rapidly moving up and broke 25k mark for first time in history, whenever the price of BTC pumps more than a month it triples for sure. As long as money continues entering the market at this price and holder's who Don't want to sell their btc then automatically price will go up more quickly than it did in the past, these positive trend's say BTC is all set to make a massive record this time.

We're waiting for the price to move to $27000 before the year-end, it's more than what we expected, I'm already ok with $25000 and what more with $26500, if this continues we'll have Bitcoin at $40000 in the first quarter of the year we are really getting more from what we are wishing for.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of 2018 BTC aftermath on: December 28, 2020, 01:18:49 AM
As we all enjoy the current btc uptrend, it is becoming a glorious moment watching btc moving up and up. it looks like a trade we all hope for. on daily base, BTC price keeps moving up without signs of dropping. personally, i think the funds are coming from XRP dumpers. also i am skeptical because markets always correct itself no matter what.
i think what happened in 2018 will still repeat it self. BTC might fall back to 20,000 but we never know when and how but for now, lets enjoy the sweet ride to 40,000

In a highly volatile market, the possibility of correction, dip, and a crash is always there, always follow the market always take profit when you see the opportunity and cut your losses when something is not going right, don't be 100% sure so far market is good but we don't know for how long we all wish the ride will be long this time around.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did I make mistake? on: December 28, 2020, 12:49:22 AM
because I believe if Bitcoin dominance decreases, then it will make the price of altcoin increases (including the price of Ethereum).

I don't see it going down to 50% and I don't see any altcoin will surpass Bitcoin supremacy, not in the next ten years we will have more of Bitcoin in the next five years because adoption is in the hype and I don't see Bitcoin going down, it represents everything great about Cryptocurrency we can support altcoins but Bitcoin is still the coin that will reign.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Do Some People Still Ask For The Best altcoins? on: December 27, 2020, 11:52:08 PM
I'm still confused by the people who always ask the best altcoins even though we can all see if ethereum is still in second place. Are they all still not aware that number two is the best in altcoins because the first position is bitcoin

They are aware but they want more altcoins and they want to make sure that they are investing in the right altcoins, these people who are asking are newbies or small-time investors who can only include a small number of coins in their portfolio so they want to know who among these good altcoins are worth it
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: December 25, 2020, 03:21:39 PM
I have never had any doubts about ETH, even though at some point it was very low. ETH is above $603 at the moment which is very glad for the market crypto and I believe it will continue to rise. I consider the price of ETH to be 1300 $ as 2017.

Ethereum is performing better than all the other altcoins in the market, besides Bitcoin, it is the second in terms of dominance in the market, we should not only look at the price but it's dominance in the market as well and of course, on its development, I don't see Ethereum getting eclipse by any altcoins in the market.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake Telegram groups on: December 25, 2020, 02:53:47 PM
Scammers have now gone advance and using all means to perpetrate their actions. A few days ago I saw myself in some fake groups of real crypto projects while they are claiming to do giveaway for partnership reasons, Christmas seasons and so on. One thing that made me aware was that report spam was placed on the group which was unusual immediately I opened it and went to check for their original groups and it was different. I saw many giving testimonies of having received the claimed giveaway offers which I am sure it's a game from their co-scammers. An innocent individual might fall for it. Please let's beware and take cautions, report any fake group that you find yourself in as spam.

Why did you not name the group so can avoid that group, I experienced being added to a group once you are added you have the option to report and leave the group, I do not want to be added to the group without my consent, and I immediately report it or post it in the scam section if I found out that the group are spammers and scammers.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP - The Biggest Scam in Digital Currency History on: December 25, 2020, 02:22:44 PM
Don't take my words out of context shill, XRP being sued will be successful and XRP will be worthless. They will most likely have to pay back all those ill-gotten gains, hollowing out whatever is left of Ripple.

Whatever happens to XRP, it will be a shell and non-existent on almost every exchange. The exodus has already begun, one-by-one exchanges will delist this scam.
As you can see on display in this thread, the botnet and puppet network of XRP's marketing is in full-force mitigating the damage.

It took SEC seven years to file a case I believe it's airtight case, all these times they are just gathering evidence so they can pin them down Ripple could be out in a few months, and holders who are still holding should brace themselves for the worst and they should get updates on what's happening on their beloved coin.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between XLM and XLM wish is best on: December 23, 2020, 11:44:04 AM
About the title - XLM is best because they are the same. Grin You should have to edit that.

Oh thanks for the notice 😅 I didn't observe that, I've edited it now.

Yes I agree with you, there lot on tension right with xrp

If you are going to be late you can find yourself losing 50% of your investment in Ripple because there is a massive dump ongoing, but if Ripple can fix the situation this is a good opportunity for investors to buy one of the top coins in the market, remember just last march everybody is dumping Bitcoin but now it is on another all-time high.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to XRP market now that SEC is suing Ripple? on: December 23, 2020, 11:31:51 AM

24 hours after the news broke out Rippler is down 10% the dump is continuing it could go down to 10 cents again or even 5 cents, and some exchange might even delist it, Ripple should do something about it, they should issue an immediate announcement and find a way to calm down investors to avoid continuous dumping.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I find new altcoins to catch them right when they are going to launch? on: December 23, 2020, 11:16:07 AM
I still prefer Bitcointalk and I don't go for airdrops if the new coin looks dubious and they are run by bad actors the community will react and report these scammers, you cannot do that if they are launch elsewhere but they can still get reported by members whom they scam.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub now accepting Monero on: December 23, 2020, 11:06:14 AM
That's good news I read that Visa and master card severed their ties to Pornhub because of this they think of adding Cryptocurrency but not only Monero they should add more Cryptocurrency and not only privacy coin but top coins with low feeds and fast confirmation like Tron, Waves otr Litecoin and of course Bitcoin.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any ideas on why XRPs price is fluctuating? on: December 23, 2020, 04:45:53 AM
This is what I think the reason of what it shows lately. XRP holders are selling due to the fear of this news.

It has dumped today and this is the reason why.
And if this continues and won't be solved, we see a not so good 2021 for it.

They are down 9 cents and it will go down further we will see more of this news, they should address this issue ASAP or the losses will double, holders, will dump Ripple  SEC is just too powerful to ignore, remember they are the ones who stopped Libra from progressing, thi scould be the end of Ripple I hope not.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 21, 2020, 10:47:50 PM
There are so many bounty campaign that moderate by newbie with 2/3 activities, is that kind of bounty are safe and believable?

They are part of the team, some of them have copper membership it's not the ones who manage the project, everything should be in the team potential's in the market and if it has a chance to get support from the community, if these two criteria are there then it has a good chance to succeed whoever manages the project here.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin reaches its highest price since 2019 on: December 21, 2020, 02:04:32 PM
Since the establishment of the litecoin on 2019, Litecoin just reached it's highest price $100
Source: https://www.facebook.com/404460532994922/posts/3598753070232303/?app=fbl

But it's still a long way from its all-time high of $360.66 -70.4% Dec 18, 2017 (about 3 years) that was three years ago but there's a possibility that they can reach and surpass this all-time high, slowly but surely, gone are the old days that when Bitcoin pump all altcoins are also made a pump, now only coin or token with good potential can pump.
