Kyc is not asked without any reason. Maybe they have defected some stuffs. Most provably about alt accounts. But I'm not sure though. But I can suggest everyone if face any problem of playing or muted in chat, shortly check your registered email. |

Than what's the point of using blockchain addresses for this tokens? It's better to associate them with account username or ID number to avoid confusions like this, but if we can't find any USDO tokens on blockchain than it's not really a token or altcoin. This is 100% centralized, but I still think this Owl giveaway should have been moved to a different topic. Yes, You are right. I will ask them to use username or ID number. The linked article mentions that it's a "token that works as game credits within the OWLDAO casino ecosystem" and that you should "connect your credited wallet to Owl.Games casino" to claim the USDO. This doesn't explain anything in regards as to how the token is recorded on a regular database and seems to imply the exact opposite. However, if they can explain as to how USDO is recorded on a centralized database and how that interfaces with their multi-chain casino dApp, I'll unban them and restore the thread.
To make it more easier I have to say that It is not tradeable, is not exchangeable, it can only be viewed inside the platform. If the game credit data / balances (even if it isn't transferable to other users) is recorded on an existing blockchain (e.g. Ethereum), then IMO no, it's a token and it's not allowed. If the game credit is recorded on a centralized database, then it's allowed if users can without exchanging to other altcoins, exchange them to BTC. From the looks of things (based on the Ethereum addresses being posted, mentions of the casino being "a Multi-Chain DAO" and an "iGaming solution for Web 3.0", referencing their casino being a "blockchain-based engine", being able to sign up with EVM coin wallets / the usual dApp "Connect" functionality, etc.), it seems like the casino is a dApp and thus I assume the game credit would be recorded as non-transferrable tokens.
As I know from the team USDO is a game credit that is Credited on a centralized database, not a blockchain. It is not transferable even not exchangeable, on this contest 100 users will have the chance to participate and try to complete the wagering requirements of 50x, once completed these users can withdraw a max cashout of $100 in Bitcoin. Can you please explain what specific terms of this contest are in conflict and if there is any need to reframe the contest in order to post it here? This will help a lot. |

Hi, Maybe you can understand after seeing the title. Yes, Mods can you please make us clear about it? For a casino, is game credit counting as an altcoin in this forum? Yesterday Owl.games ran a giveaway in the games and round section. They wanted to giveaway 100$ USDO/user which is game credit and will be transferred to BTC after meeting the wagering requirements. USDO is just the name of the credits. It could be BTCO too. No difference here.
In the campaign thread, they asked username or wallet address to just only identify the user's account. They will send the game credit directly user's wallet. Because this USDO is just a name they used for BONUS/GAME credit. Don't have any chain or it's not building under any chain like BSC , ETH etc.
Today, Owl.games told that they are banned for running the giveaway. So what's the solution? They were not run an altcoin giveaway. Mods can you please explain the reason of the banned?

It's been a couple of weeks since I got an email response, and they still haven't paid out the 5btc balance on my account Technically these aren't winnings, just a return of my previous deposits, since I'm still a net loser on the site. I signed up last year before they had any kyc policy against americans. I got my deposit back the last 2 times I accidentally signed up for one of those regulated no-americans casinos.
