what problems could I face if I sell such small amounts via CC without requiring any kind of ID verification?
Almost nothing. Compare with the shops online, how often do you see a merchant asking your ID to complete your purchase. also now the majority of cards send an SMS for online transactions
I think he will experience to receive a stolen money or hacked credit card so, if you don't have a KYC or ID verification you will be chasing by FBI because you are the recipient of stolen money who doesn't know the identity of the owner.

So, what information can you give to FBI if you don't have a KYC and ID verification?

If you do not have any information to give I think you will be arrested.

That is why almost all exchange site is asking for KYC or ID verification.

Why is no-one else offering this?
There is.I used one long ago.
I never heard that there is a website that offers like this, but if it exists, maybe there is a way to deal anonymously.
7602  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the best program to restore data from your phone? on: August 15, 2018, 07:57:26 PM
There is no good software or program to restore your data to your phone once you factory reset the phone it's gone and there is no way to recover it unless if you just deleted the file, then you can recover it using the Dr.fone Recovery Tool.

If you are referring to bitcoin wallet on mobile phones and if you have a backup seed phrase you can recover it.

What app data do you really want to restore or application?

7605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Searching about trading signal on: August 15, 2018, 06:02:39 PM
I found a list of telegram groups and some channels from google which I think you can use for trading signals.
Check here in this link https://icoinsider.tech/crypto-telegram-groups-channels/

Like the above said do not pay for their signal you can use free trading signals from any groups from the url above and not all signals are accurate. So, it's best for you if you study the price of movement in your own efforts because here in the cryptocurrency world there is no accurate prediction.
7606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Recovering weird old wallet on: August 15, 2018, 05:28:58 PM
I tried to search on google, but failed and I tried to translate it using google translator no result.

I tried to research deeply and I found some snippets result on google that it looks like deep latin words. However, when trying to translate using Latin to English no result.

I found a list from Arabic website and I think all the non-words you get from the paper you will find it from the url below.
Code:
http://ice-ex1r2.persiangig.com/.fIiStHZdGZ/document/id%204%20harfi%20jadid.txt

probably you converted the seed phrases to a deep latin? You must find that tool to translate it into English words.
7607  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet disappeared - HELP! on: August 14, 2018, 11:10:30 PM
This mostly happens to Mac users after they install and then reboot. The Electrum icon has vanished because you did not follow the correct way how to install the Electrum in Mac PC.

Like the other said reinstall it again then follow the guide from here Beginners guide to Electrum it should be ok now if you follow it correctly.
7608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lost phone and dont have a backup code for my 2FA.. (bittrex, binance etc..) on: August 14, 2018, 10:40:55 PM
That's a big problem, you can try to contact them via support and verify that you are the owner of the account.

Use the email that you used in exchange sites and tell them that you know your account user and password and then tell them the truth about your lost phone. Sometimes they are asking for KYC verification to verify that you own that account, but the other exchange site email is enough.

Next time, always backup your 2fa secret code because if you lose your device including 2fa, the chances of recovering the account is 50/50.
7609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market? on: August 14, 2018, 09:27:35 PM
I think it's better if you check the other coins because many coins right now have been raising its price.

Look at this list of gainers https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/

So, don't focus on a single coin because not all coins are always the same price movement. Since bitcoin is supported and has strong resistance at $6k price that I think it's a good opportunity to buy bitcoin and wait for bitcoin price to rise again to make a profit.

Don't focus to USD-BTC or USD-Altcoin try to multiple gains by BTC/altcoin or Altcoin to BTC to maximize your profit.
7610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core default fees not ok? on: August 14, 2018, 06:51:19 PM
If your transaction still unconfirmed you can abandon or delete the unconfirmed transaction then you can create a new transaction with higher fee.
Read the quoted below.

Bitcoin Core

Bitcoin Core makes making Full RBF transactions very easy. Simply go to the transactions list, right click the transaction that is stuck, and choose the "Abandon Transaction" option.

If that option is greyed out, then you must go to the Bitcoin Core datadir and delete the mempool.dat file. Then restart Bitcoin Core with the -walletbroadcast=0 option and then you should be able to use "Abandon Transaction".

If the above two options fail for some reason, then you can start Bitcoin Core with the -zapwallettxes option to clear all unconfirmed transactions from your wallet.

Once the transaction is either Abandoned or cleared from the wallet, you can simply go to the Send tab and send the Bitcoin again but make sure that you include a sufficient transaction fee.
Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0

Then always check the updated fee here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ make sure to use the fastest and cheapest fee or higher to make your transaction faster.

I know, but this requires to change the fee by hand all the time.
The miner's fee does not have a fixed value it always depends on the network.

If you don't want to change the miner's fee from time to time you must set your miner's fee to the higher amount per byte. So, you don't need to replace the fee from time to time.

7612  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Export account key on: August 12, 2018, 08:56:13 PM
I repeat, to make it clear, it's not a private key, it's a backup (meaning enough info to re-create your HD wallet).

The 111 characters long is a extended private key (BIP32 Extended Key) check this sample below
Code:
xprv9s21ZrQH143K38naYWLuW252pDEkCAGydtdrfzvwuTfXosSQ8gEu6zqvAd3NQxRwumiKSxTCt6Qi1cNVka1EM9JEgPziAhsvspZHdgxW9YW
You need a 3rd party application to extract the seed phrase or private keys from the extended key.
You can check this tool as a reference http://bip32.org/
7613  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 3.2.2 and Electrum-ltc-3.1.3.1 do not run om Mac OS 10.9.5 on: August 12, 2018, 07:05:44 PM
Hello,

I installed the latest version of Electrum and Electrum-ltc on Macbook Pro running OS 10.9.5

When I click to run the apps the icon flashes in the Doc but the app does not remain open - it does not run properly.

Is it incompatible?

How to fix it?

Thanks

I downloaded the wallet from here: https://electrum.org/#download
Could you try to drag the "Electrum.app icon"  to the "application folder" first and then right click then choose open.

It should work right now if not the possible reason I think it may be conflict because you install them both Electrum and Electrum-ltc on the same machine.

Thanks for following up.

We understand your frustrations, and want to resolve your case as efficiently as possible. Duplicate tickets of the same issue will only confuse the team handling your case, and end up slowing down the resolution of your case because we respond to all open tickets.

We will close this ticket since you already have an open ticket, and all future responses will occur in ticket #1072039. We appreciate your patience and cooperation!

as answer but Ticket #1072039 isnt my ticket
and ticket now closed and acc still frozen

The best thing would be to remove all cryptocoins from poloniex
Poloniex has the worst support ever based on my experienced. The best thing that you can do now is to contact them again and tell them that the ticket number they gave is not yours.

I think someone knows your account and keep trying to log in with a wrong password and verification that I think one of the reasons why your account was frozen.

Try to ask them why your account is always frozen so that you know what the account problem is and you can make a solution immediately like blocking other IP's and other countries.
7615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto + Stock Market Portfolio Management app on: August 12, 2018, 05:57:03 PM
I found a website with both cryptocurrency and stock market portfolio managing app but I never tested it yet.
It is free so you can try it here wallmine.com/

Also, I would like to add the other crypto portfolio managing apps below.

7616  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Export account key on: August 10, 2018, 08:50:47 PM
When you export account key from Mycelium, it shows a QR code with a very long text string ( 111 characters ). Why is this private key so long? The public key doesn't match with the unspent address in the account, so what is it exporting exactly?

It's a private extended key you can use this for recovering your wallet.

I stop using mycelium long time ago because until now they have no segwit addresses. So, I don't have much knowledge on how to export private key in mycelium.

Anyway, I found some methods that I think may help you to find the private keys and import to other wallet check this link extended key from mycelium
7617  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 🔴🔴Which mining type is the best? Different types of mining🔴🔴 on: August 10, 2018, 08:20:07 PM
How did you mine on PoS? do you really know what PoS is? Please read this Wiki https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake

PoS is proof of stake so, the more you have coins in your wallet the more you can generate coins unlike in PoW algo which you need a hardware before you can mine altcoin or bitcoin.

I think it's better to remove cloud mining from the list to let newbies know that cloud mining is too risky and like the above said most of these are scam. Also, remove PoS because you can not use PoS on mining.

Anyway, I recommend ASIC miner because this is more profitable than GPU mining these days. You can refer to this link https://www.asicminervalue.com/ which miner is better and profitable.
7618  Economy / Speculation / Re: DO YOU STILL BELIEVE IN RISING UP OF BITCOIN? on: August 10, 2018, 07:50:42 PM
Everyone has different predictions and you cannot tell when the bitcoin price will rise or fall, but I can say that it is possible to climb the bitcoin price up to $20k or higher, but not this year or next year.

I think in the next block halving or this coming year 2020 it will be repeated again what the bitcoin price movement last year because I believe that block halving is the big reason why the price reach above $1k to $19k that I think it can happen again this coming 2020. So, invest more bitcoin as early as possible while the price is cheaper then hold and wait until the block halving comes.
7619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tutorials for beginners on: August 10, 2018, 07:15:36 PM
How about adding electrum wallet and bitcoin-qt these wallets are much safer than using online wallets because you don't have full control over your private keys compared to other wallets. So, I advise you to add this two well-known wallet, which is safe to use and you have a full control of your private keys.

Thanks for your effort!
But could you explain the idea behind the red color?

Why are
   + Coinbase
   + Blockchain.info
in red?

And one more thing, can I sync Coinbase and Blockchain.info with any hardware wallet?

PS: What about Jaxx wallet? Is it okay?

Based on what I heard about Jaxx Wallet many users lose their altcoin using this wallet and the support response is too slow. So, I recommend that you choose more secured wallet like ledger nano s as a hardware wallet.
7620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How has your experience been with Binance? on: August 10, 2018, 06:03:19 PM
I'm using binance for almost 6 months and I never had any issue yet, but I heard some complaints that they had some trouble logging in to binance, but for me, it is fine my laptop and smartphone are both working fine to me.

The best that I want from binance is the 50% fee discount, but you must purchase and use the BNB token in order to get the fee discount.

Honestly, I don't trust binance when I first saw it from Google because there are some reviews from bittrust that binance is a scam or the other says that their altcoin was stolen by binance. However, I still tried to create an account in binance to exchange few tokens just to test if the binance is not a scam, but it works fine to me without any issue. Since then I've always exchanged my altcoin and token to binance without worrying.
