Can you implement HTTPS in your website? It can be done for free and quickly with https://letsencrypt.org

That would make it possible to do things like what Timelord2o67 said above (getting the latest list from /trust/latestversion.txt). Right now, you can't make unsecure non-https requests to the browser from an https website (like Bitcointalk).

Unfortunately, Cash app is a custodian wallet, which means you do not have control over your wallet private-keys or seed.

You will have to contact their support and explain the situation. Give them the transaction ID, amount, addresses, everything.

Maybe if you are luck and/or the amount you sent is relatively big, they will manually recover them for you (maybe for a fee). Some exchanges/services do that, others don't even bother to trying help you. But that's the only possible solution.

O maior problema desse pessoal nem é a postagem “anuncio” em si, mas o fato deles só aparecerem para postar um texto junto a um um link e ir embora. Teve até um admin de um grupo de BTC do Facebook que postou falando que comprou alguns pequenos milhares de reais em NANO e que hoje em dia, com esse preço, já está no prejuízo..

The same people publishing those fake apps on the Play Store are also bomb reviewing the legit apps with 1 star reviews so they go down in the search list and also appear less legit. For example, the Ledger Live app has 1.7 stars ratings when just a few says ago, it had around 4 stars. Number of downloads are also extremely easy to bypass/spoof. You still need and iOS and Apple account to do all of that, while on Android, you just need to download an emulator or pay extremely cheap rates for farms to do that for you.

The only viable way of always going to the real app is by checking the url/full name of the app (e.g com.ledger.ledgerlive) which is unique per app and finding it through the company’s/app’s website rather than searching for it on the Play Store.

I have already talked about this. But Google has almost zero verification when letting new apps come to their store, while Apple is more of an perfectionist, doing deep analysis of what the app does and how it makes. I have published apps on both stores so I know how all of that works.

O Bitconnect foi algo imenso, e mesmo com todo mundo gritando e avisando os gananciosos que a moeda era um belo de um scam, ela continou sendo usada e defendida por muito tempo, tendo alcançado um marketcap de mais de $2,5 bilhões. Agora imagina os scams que acontecem de forma "mais leve" e isolada em certos países, e que a gente nunca ouve falar. O pessoal mesmo de fora nunca deve ter lido sobre a Unix ou a Atlas.

De forma geral, não tem perigo. O maior problema só pode acontecer se você habilitar a lightning network, que é algo mais avançado, e não fazer backup dos seus channels após abrir um novo. Se já utilizava a Electrum, tudo continua funcionando praticamente da mesma forma.

Hm... aparentemente, o BB já fechou contas relacionamento a exchanges brasileiras no passado e teve que reabrir por ordem da a justiça. Eu imaginaria que isso teria deixado um precedente para que eles não fizessem o mesmo de novo, mas parece que eles não ligam.

If you rewally want to do it, you can disable Javascript on your browser (NoScript, manually in the browser settings, Tor with safest security level, etc...) and you will be able to see every question. You just can't check if the answer is right, so you will have to look for it yourself. But that's probably a bonus for your memory refreshing.

Legal. Nunca tinha ouvido falar nessa Strike, mas conheço a Zap[1] por ser uma das primeiras carteiras user-friendly com Lightning que conheci. Inclusive já a utilizei para brincar com a lightning na testnet. Porém, infelizmente parece só funcionar nos EUA, já que tem integração direta com os bancos de lá. ;(

Also, knowing how Electrum generates the private-keys from your seed[1], anyone else can replicate it. So, even if for some reason, no one elses has a Electrum.exe and the software/code just vanishes from the world, you still will probably be able to get it back to work. After all, it's all generated on the client-side, with public known code (on github's repo), which doesn't even require any internet connection.

It's technically possible with every wallet. And it's actually really simple. You can generate pretty much infinite addresses and wallets with the same seed depending on which derivation path you use. Electrum, by design, only lets you use one derivation path per "wallet". In Bitamp, they let you change from one to the other in the same wallet ("instance of a wallet") without creating a new one. Coinomi also has this feature - at least for BTC.

Probably for better compatibility. E.g you use bech32 for everything but when its not accepted by a service, you just generate a nested address.

Cara, R$ 2000 ida e volta com 7 dias de hospedagem?? Eu teria pego na hora mesmo sem saber o idioma. Até considero se não era uma promoção pegadinha. Só de passagem é quase o dobro desse valor.

Eu estava pesquisando semana passada como tirar o visto de turismo para ir viajar para lá. É um dos paises que mais quero visitar.

Inglês é praticamente obrigatório hoje em dia. Tive sorte de fazer curso desde pequeno e ter aprendido anos atrás. Além disso, estudo Francês e um dia ainda quero estudar Japonês. IMO, uma das melhores coisas de aprender um idioma não é nem abrir portas para outras oportunidades (do ponto de vista profissional), mas sim conseguir se conectar de forma diferente com outras pessoas, o que é o principal motivo de eu me interessar em aprender mais. Uma das melhores partes da minha última viagem internacional foi ter conseguido fazer amizade com alguns outros mochileiros franceses. Uma delas ainda tem uma empresa que atua no meu ramo, ou seja, um possível networking.
