I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
Let me explain to you the differentiate between Trading and Gambling, In Trading, once you do trade it needs an effort to monitor it from time to time you must be updated for the coins swinging for you to find out on which of them you are going to sell it or buy it means skills of analysis and patience is very useful in trading, while in Gambling you don't need those things that trading has. This topic is interesting, after some losses in the beginning, I decided that the most appropriate strategy for me and my emotions is to hold. As they said, investing more than you can lose only makes you lose, I started with very little and from the moment I felt comfortable I was increasing, so I was not affected by my emotions.
Perhaps, you did a great job! That is one way to overcome our fear in losing money, we have to lose first then after a while acceptance and moving forward should be next. Little by little I did same thing, I am now holding what I can afford for now and not to push myself too much so no worries in my part if the market goes down. Acceptance and experience which would really mold us to be better traders and same as you said we would really learn little by little along the way and we would able to handle or control our emotions because this thing will surely affect us if we don't put attention into it. |

That is true. One of the most I hate whenever I want to withdraw my money to buy something is there is always a limit, so worst thing is you have to go to a bank to withdraw over the counter because of a limit per day. So, you have no choice if you need more than the limit, no choice but to suffer in their line while waiting for your number. Such a waste of time. Yes, it is very inconvenient. But those who use the services of banks, there is simply no other choice. Bitcoin is more convenient to use but in bitcoin we cant still be assure to be safe on our money it might be the one of the best investment and storage as of now but we should really not forget the risk on it.We do still trust banks no matter what specially on the security of our local fiat money and in the case of OP for sure he have done something wrong why bank did such action on him regarding to his account. |

I would prefer to invest my majority of money in different products instead of investing in a single product where there is a risk of loosing everything at once if that particular product fails in future and its always good to diversify your investments in order to reduce the risks for the future so even if one product fails you can recover your losses from another one.
That is of course, the rule of the thumb - never put all your eggs in one basket. It is saver and often more profitable when investments are broken down and spread across many products, but that is not to say diversification makes all investments equal. Some investment opportunities offers better prospects in terms of security and ROI, etc and those are deserving of higher priority. Diversifying your money and spreading out on many investments would really be a good move and same as you said priority would really matter since not all investments are equal because there are investment which is really good and could give potential good profits thats why we need to take the opportunity. |

What are some the more idiotic and stupid mistakes that you know you shouldn't have made but did anyway. Yes this includes other none gambling stuff like sending btc to the wrong address. I'm interested to find out the stupid things other people do.  The worst thing I've ever done in the gambling was when I played dice game, I know I'm already winning the games but still I'm pursuing myself to continue it because aside from I enjoying I felt that I can't be lost by that day, but all of a sudden I typed the wrong amount of betting instead of 0.03 BTC, I didn't double check it, that it was 0.3 BTC which I choose to bet then Boom! then it shocked me actually when I saw, it was 0.3 BTC.  but i think i made so many mistakes for so many times and for every time i lose a lot of money. and specially in very early stage of my gambling when i start gambling, and i think the reason behind this was that i was very new immature and having no experience in gambling. there was no planing and strategy for my gambling and therefore i usually make more mistakes in gambling. Not only you but most of us do commit mistakes since we are just a newbie on gambling we do really be blinded by our greediness or eagerness on making money out of gambling which isnt true at all because we may saw that results are fast but gambling is really designed for most of us to be a loser on the end. |

My close friend is 50 years old. He's never been addicted to anything throughout his life. If I will judge whether someone is addicted to something or not, I will want to know the output of that venture he is currently undertaking, in the case of this your friend if he has been losing and even running into debt then he is definitely addicted to that but since he is not using his own money and maybe he is even winning then I say he is not addicted afterall whether he is working or gambling, the end result is to make money and if he is getting that, then to me that should not be an issue whatsoever. It wouldnt really be an issue at all as long he do enjoy on playing poker without compromising his own money then i could say that hes not addicted but i think he does play because of enjoyment and remember hes already old and should not be stressed out on some other things. |

Its up to you actually, if you stay or not. Because for me if the price goes down I will surely buy bitcoin particularly now, I will prioritize buying bitcoin, altcoin is just secondary to me. Because has more higher value than any altcoins. so at at least if ever the value get increase you can sell some few of it for you to enjoy anyway the fruit of your labor. Bitcoin is the most valuable among all and no altcoin could able to surpass that which means we should mainly focus on this one.Agree, it does really depend on a person if he tends to stay or decide to panic sell when bitcoins price tend to go down and as we all know bitcoins price do normally recover after a certain crash. |

Though I prefer to gamble with small amount the circle around me insisted to go for a bigger amount, so that can earn good. Without going with my decision and moving based on others decision because of the greed made me loss the entire amount in single event which I earned little by little from several events having very low odds.

If you know and notice that your are winning the games you stay away from it little by little, bet at small amount then exit. Because if you don't, it will be pity and wasted. Not that I have that many (I wish!), but how would you store >100 Bitcoins? The easy answer is just to say "create 1 offline/cold wallet and put them all in". But what about risk management? IE how do you store a very large value of coins while managing risk against hackers, forgetting passwords, the obvious need for at least 1 hot wallet, portability, easy of use, house fires, EMP bomb's (lol), or if a foreigner had to flee a country while taking no assets etc etc. I'm looking for real responses and ideas. Please keep the trolling to a minimum  There is an old advice for your problem, " don't put all your eggs in one basket". 100 bitcoin is very big amount to keep in one computer or hardware. Better split into some parts and keep it in many wallet. Or maybe you can trade your 100 BTC for property in some countries with good price. There is a man from other country bought a villa in my country bitcoin. We can still put our bitcoins on a single wallet its either on a hardware wallet and keep them securely and with that i dont think it can be hacked so easily.Wow,thats a nice thing that someone bought a villa on just using his bitcoin and i do agree 100 btc is already a huge amount specially on my country. |

It is truly very good idea of celebrating the Bitcoin Day but keeping the halving Day as the bitcoin day is not good as Halving Day dont come yearly and i will suggest to keep the Day which comes Every Year so like this we can fix the date of every year as Bitcoin Day just like Feb 14 is Celebrated as Valentine Day.
