Kuzma, Zubac and Lonzo Ball stepping up to get a big win in overtime against the Thunders.

Damn Zubac. Coming from the bench and still managed to contribute 26 big points for the Lakers in 28 minutes. Credits also to his great passer teammates who always found him uncontested below the rim.

OKC literally blew a 17 point lead. Almost a loss on game regulations if Westbrook not fouled on the dying seconds resulting on OT.

Missing Link: Brandom Ingram. 8 points (1/9 fg) for "38" minutes. Inconsistency at it's finest lol.

Improvement: Bench players combined for 61 big points.
I watched the whole game and one thing I can say, it's all Westbrook's fault, he keep shooing instead of passing the ball to find his teammates, they settle too much in outside shooting and they didn't manage their bench properly resulting to heavy minutes for the starters which played an average of over 40 minutes, that's a lot of time and in the end they still loss.

Westbrook's shooting is really awful, he took 30 shots and only made 7 of the attempt, a smart player should adjust at this situation, he didn't.
7622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ether Prices Hit the new Low of 2018 and continue to Fall. Time to buy? on: January 18, 2019, 07:19:28 AM
At the time you publish this thread, the price was $203.10, and ETH falls below $100 which resulted to a $50 loss some time if you bought at the current price you stated. Averaging would help you, buy at the current price now and hope it will not result to a further dropped, I guess we bottomed out already, and from $100, we will be starting our increase here and it could happen anytime.

When I saw that price before, I also think that price would not go down anymore but like many others, I was also wrong but didn't regret my decision.
7623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC to Under 1K$ soon on: January 18, 2019, 07:09:19 AM
Even if bitcoin will fall under 1000$ there stay a big possibility of future fast and huge growth such as we used to see in 2017. I do not know what number is going to be the dippest dip for bitcoin after which it will start to climb constantly. Bitcoin died for many times already and this is not the last one for sure.
It happened in the past, bitcoin was many times declared as dead but it was able to rise as much as $20,000, that is not a miracle, it's just people are trusting bitcoin but they get FOMO but the pump. Nobody knows when the same scenario will happen again but $20,000 will be reach at the right time and not exact time but as long as we hold, we always have this chance like those who are successful because they hold from the early stage.
7624  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: January 18, 2019, 06:10:05 AM
if the tax does not burden the investors and makes it safe and comfortable to invest, why is it that the important thing is that taxes do not make investors lose and harm both parties
There is no relation to tax and a possibility of getting profit or loss in investing.

Tax was created by the government and it's individuals responsibility to pay taxes when it's due, there's every sector in a government and if I get your point right, you are referring to the egency who should help investors to safeguard their asset's, IMO, it should be the SEC on that matter, but the taxation concern is quite separate and the government will get their fair share on our profit.
7625  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: January 18, 2019, 05:41:04 AM
The current market set up is currently gloomy and may take a while before thing improve significantly, in any case, the future is bright for blockchain/crypto projects. The problems in the space now are typical of every new technology/industry
It's new when we introduce it to the people but eventually they will understand and adopt in the future.
The government recognizes crypto and we need their help to educate the public, and I also like to see that in the future, the public perception would change about crypto, instead of seeing it as an investment, it should be the tech and how valuable it is to the people.
7626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future BTC's price on: January 18, 2019, 03:32:07 AM
Since the supply is limited and we are losing a lot BTC most often, I assume that it will at least $500k but, the matter is whether cryptocurrency is going to survive for this long time or not?
why wouldn't it survive? Other form of money like fiat has survived this long.  I think cryptocurrencies and bitcoin is here to stay and I strongly believe that bitcoin will be  above the amount you have speculated.
It will survive, you should believe it's coming from me, kidding..
Everyone should invest based on what they believe, of course for bitcoin enthusiast, we believe that it will survive and it's the reason why
until now we are still holding it. Not only bitcoin as this market would be boring with altcoins pumping, it's a bigger market now and I want them all to survive.
7627  Economy / Speculation / Re: no 1 reason why the bulls are starting real soon!!! on: January 18, 2019, 02:57:53 AM
Say whatever you want, but I do not believe in another bullrun before the halving. It can get warmer on the market, but there are no guarantees that it will last long and much.
It's always good to see some people who does not believe in bull run, because that gives us a good balance, this market especially in this forum are so optimistic with the bull run, I judge based on my opinion only based on what I read from most members posting and from voting polls that I join.

A new bull run might not come sooner but I'm pretty sure in time it will, so there is no reason to expect more and just get disappointed, better do HODL.

Harden total FT attempt 23  ==>>>  Brookly nets team total FT attempt is 22  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Looks like defenders are confused on how to deal with James Harden. If they gonna get close contact on Harden they will be called on foul (even some of them are not really a foul). If not an aggressive defense, Harden will just go for a push or do a step back rainbow shot or 3s.
I'm that's how defenders think, Harden just master his style so much and we've seen improvement year after year.
Harden is a good shooter and knows how to fish foul by driving the ball inside most of the time, he will make more shots if he continue to bring the ball most of the time, and so far they are still doing good with their 6-4 last 10 games record.
Harden is doing the right thing base on his current doing. Might be annoying to anyone but his style is effective.
That's what he does, some will hate, some will appreciate, just like Mayweather in boxing, his style is annoying but that's where he is effective at.

On the other hand, producing 30+ or 40+ points in a streak is really a difficult task. That's how good the last season MVP is.
And he'll probably continue to produce this score now, I'm guessing 30+ average is easy for him going forward to this season.
7629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List Exchanges Hacked 2011/2018 on: January 18, 2019, 02:08:39 AM
That's what we afraid of. The hackers for sure will dump the coins they have someday which can impact the price movement if the number is huge enough.
There will be an impact but it's not huge for sure, cryptopia is not a big exchange so this will not significantly affect investors in the entire crypto world.
Frankly, idk why exchanges look so weak even though there are already several bad examples from the past.
Small exchanges are most likely susceptible to hacking because their system is weak, and that's the reason why they did not improve despite existing already in the market. I also have deposit on that site but I don't put a lot as I know someday things like this might happen.

With this news, it's a lesson for everyone not to trust our money to small exchange, instead put it on big exchanges as they have better security.

Interesting statistic for today's game between the Rockets and the Brookly nets.
Harden total FT attempt 23  ==>>>  Brookly nets team total FT attempt is 22  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Winner Nets - 145 -142

Amazing comeback win for the Brooklyn Nets. Down by 10 or more in the last four minutes was able to get back and tie the score. And again during the OT they are down, but played defense and hitting big time shots.

Harden's though has another 50+ point game but the Nets ruining it. Spencer Dinwiddie played very well today hitting three's during their comeback run and also in OT. Future All-star, or likely candidate for 6th Man.
The Nets had improved a lot this season, in the past seasons, they were one of the weakest teams in the NBA like the Sixers and the Phoenix Suns.
Now, they are competing and looks like they have a chance to be in the playoffs again, with these young team after they rebuild has finally found the success like the Celtics, in the past these 2 teams are involved on the Garnett and Paul Pierce trade but the Nets as the recipient were not successful on that trade that's why they also choose to rebuild.

As a crypto enthusiast I'm happy to know that Spencer Dinwiddie is the top scorer for the Nets in this game because he publicly said he is investing in crypto.

7631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 17, 2019, 12:59:16 PM
I sincerely hope my good friend Emmanuel takes the reigns as president from me someday.

He's quite a gentleman, perhaps overly kind. But I will have already killed all the drug dealers for him so it will make his job easier.

Broner is too pompous, but average for an American. Pacquiao's certain victory will help reinforce the Filipino superiority over arrogant American swine. As if we didn't already know this.

Mayweather should have been a ballerina. If I wanted to watch dancing I would just pop in my VHS copy of Footloose.

LOL. I'll give you props though. And just imagine @presduterte with his accent delivering this message, Epic.  Grin

@nutildah - I don't know how long have you been in the country, but definitely every Pacquaio fight made every Filipino proud. 0 crime rate, no traffic as everyone is watching at home, truly a magical moment. They usually go and celebrate though with some of them having a drinking and karaoke party after the win and discuss all over again how great Manny is.
That's why Pacquaio is considered as a hero because he united Filipino and maybe it's his reason why he keeps fighting even at his age now.
Everyone is expecting this is a gonna bring lots of entertainment since both fighters has good record in boxing and I hope this will not be a boring fight like mayweather fight, Broner should be aggressive in this fight if he want to beat Manny and he he needs to knock him down to make it more convincing.
7632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 16, 2019, 02:24:47 AM
Wow! Harden did it again, 57 points against the Memphis Grizzlies, I think I find my new MVP at him, probably a back to back for him if he continue to play this way. This is a complete example of carrying his team by himself to win, he is responsible for the 50% of the total scores his team made tonight and almost perfect at free throw line with 17-18,  that area is really where he is good at.
Let the season end and let the stats decide if he's going to be the MVP for this season. No doubt that Harden is such a very versatile and great player, every game he plays his performance is always the best.

The complete example of carrying a team that I've seen before was with Lebron James, I still have faith with LJ but I'm also starting to like the games and performance showed by Harden.

Harden is good right now but has not proven yet to be a great player, Lebron IMO is better than Harden, because if he like to just boost himself, Lebron can do it and he will be a better candidate compared to harden as he is not good in offense but also good in rebounding and defense, that's what harden's lack to be in line with great players like Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan which are the most popular in basketball history.
7633  Other / Meta / Re: Another 3 new account spamming 1 Thread on: January 16, 2019, 01:59:47 AM
The main problem here is cost, reputable managers are charging higher in managing campaigns that contain less members while the less popular ones are cheaper and can handle more participants which the dev team always gets as they also are in for some forum rule breaking such as bumping their threads.
Though the amount is but I'm sure its affordable, ICO projects are aiming to raise at least a million and they are not willing to pay a reputable bounty manager, I guess, that's a red flag already. If they are confident that their idea would sell, they should also be willing to invest for the marketing, that's how business should be run, you spend at the beginning and you reap the fruits of your labor at the end, should not be the other way around.
7634  Economy / Speculation / Re: no 1 reason why the bulls are starting real soon!!! on: January 15, 2019, 07:22:35 AM
It seems like now the bulls are sleeping for quite a long time, I predict he will wake up by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
If there's no bull run in the first half of the year, I will think it's not gonna happen anymore this year.
One year is enough, we've seen a lot of correction under that span of time, some people even panic and sold their holding, some quit and just forget crypto, I don't what will happen more if this market will not change its direction.

It is better now that we don't expect too much to see bulls, because he is still sleeping very soundly.
We need the spirit of optimism, as an investors, profit is what we are after of, if that will come, it will never make us happy with investing.
I would like to think it's a still sleeping but I'm hoping when it wakes up, it will bring chaos to the market, not that people are dumping but people get FOMO.
7635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Check the balance of your Bitcoin address at a specific date on: January 15, 2019, 06:53:28 AM
Very useful thread, this is worth sharing.
Now I tried my address and able to see clearly that my transaction has significantly dropped Sad.
My 1 year transaction is pretty low compared to the past years, I can't deny I'm very much affected by the bear.
7636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC to Under 1K$ soon on: January 15, 2019, 06:38:55 AM
Since lot of people are in Panic they will start to sell their BTC with loss , Market will be red more than ever before,
So this is how It work:When BTC 2.9K$ Panic will be started, Downtrend will be slowly started too. Price will be dropped to 2.5K$ - 2K$ than Next wave of Panic will be started and price will be fallen to 1K$ and it will stable at 800$.
You have a very bad prediction my friend, going to $1k will mean another big time panic.
I normally don't listen to this as I'm more interested with an untrend prediction, but I cannot just disregard this kind of possibility, we've been in a down trend for almost a year already and no one knows if we really hit the dip already or not.

Today, the market seem to be back to green again, it's a little relief for us who are expecting the other way, I hope you are wrong OP.
7637  Other / Meta / Re: Another 3 new account spamming 1 Thread on: January 15, 2019, 02:07:23 AM
The campaign manager needs to alter their campaign rules quickly from what I know Bounty Threads like this one have been deleted in the past for violating the rules. This is the main source of spam here in the Altcoin section, campaign managers requiring them to post in their ANN thread even if it is shitty just to bump their thread is really a cheap thing to do and most importantly it fills the forum with spam, LoyceV have already shown that some newbies even reach 1000 posts without receiving even a single merit this just show that they really don't care about the quality of their posts anymore.
Exactly, bounty managers should also monitor their people and they should consider it a responsibility to protect this forum from spammers.
Most of the project nowadays are just run by a non reputable manager or a newbie from their team without enough knowledge about the forum rules, maybe they are doing it to minimize their expenses but without realizing the possible mess it will bring to the forum.

A good team should also care for this forum as it's where they put their advertising, so IMO, it's better hire a reputable manager recommended by the community although a little bit expensive but it will add value to the project as it will increase the confidence of the potential investors to put their money knowing it's been manage by a reputable member.

7638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 15, 2019, 01:50:30 AM
It never ceases to amaze me, people saying that Pacquiao needs to retire because he is old and past his prime. But look at how those young fighters like Mikey Garcia, Terence Crawford still wants to fight Pacquiao. Not only for the money but for the one of a lifetime experience to fight one of the greatest fighters we have seen in the last 20 years.
Yeah, you're right. Manny is now 40 yrs.old and still fearless of fighting younger fighters. It so amazing to see that a middle aged person like him still be able to remain physically fit and maintain the stamina (Imagine, he can still sustain a 12 round fight without any problem). He is the living proof of "Age doesn't matter".

However, it's not bad if he will decide to retire after few more fights (I hope with Crawford and a rematch with Floyd) because he already prove something to us. That was enough, he should now focus to his career as a congressman. But if he  still want to fight then that's okay too Grin.
Isn't he a senator though? Anyways, Broner camp is trying to sell the fight and saying that they will send Manny Pacquiao's ass back to the Senate,

Quote
“We gonna send him back to the Senate,” Cunningham said during the second episode of “ALL ACCESS: Pacquiao Vs. Broner,” which premiered Friday night on Showtime. “Take your 40-year-old ass back to the Senate.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/broners-trainer-pac-take-40-year-old-ass-back-senate--135362
He's the Senator in the Philippines and will try to win this game to have a ticket for the Mayweather's rematch.
It's gonna be an exciting fight because Manny likes to reply his talks in the ring if his opponent is talking too much outside the ring against him. Winning this fight also for Manny might be his ticket also to Presidency, he is considered as Hero in the Philippines so it would bring an Honor if he will be the first to beat Mayweather.

This fight will definitely sell, actually I'm already looking for some PPV provider so I can enjoy watching it even at home.

7640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we do 15 - 30$+ per day by trading successfully in these market conditions? on: January 14, 2019, 02:47:07 AM
get 15-30 $ is not a difficult matter if you have enough capital, but to be consistent every day is not an easy matter, Smart traders will secure capital and make use of profits for the next trade..  Wink
If one can get that amount on a daily basis, why not aim higher, I'm one can easily secure big capital for trading if he knows he is that consistent.

Make your journey shorter so you can enjoy your life by retiring early, that's possible in trading because when there is a big risk, it should give you good reward when you succeed. However, I doubt there's someone who can really perfect trading especially at the time when people panic but you cannot also short the market as sometimes it will suddenly pump, so that scenario alone will already make you vulnerable to losing.
