Mavs lead by 13 points now with 8:40 mins remaining in the 3rd qtr. I prematch thought that the Bulls would win at home but Bulls are not being able to stop Mavs attack at all. They are unable to read the Mavs plays and either end up fouling or give away an open shot at the basket. Bulls really gotta step it up if they plan to win this.
Game is not over yet, the Bulls are fighting back to win this game, it's a close game now and the Mavs are leading with 1 point only with less than 2 minutes. I hope the Bulls will not let their fans down again, they should prove they are a good team and they can win games home convincingly.
Mavs wins with 1 point they managed to hold the lead until the buzzer sometimes its better to place bets with unfavored teams to win like what happen with houston against the heat unexpected wins and ML is really in good odd.
Not all the time I guess, it depends on the situation and there's a right spot where an underdog or a favorites will most likely to win. This game has made the Bulls favored due to their good performance against the Memphis Grizzlies and that ignite the hype to attract the public to take -4.5 bulls which is playing at home.

Coinbase CEO Says Bitcoin Exchange Will Be 'Forced' to Fight IRS Order

In November of 2016, the Internal Revenue Service ordered bitcoin trading company Coinbase to hand over the identities of millions of customers who made transactions through the company over three years, to find out who hasn't been paying their taxes.

Now, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has suggested in a Medium post that the company will go to court with the IRS, writing, "...it appears we will be forced to contest [the subpoena] in court to protect our customers' privacy, at great expense."

Online bitcoin exchanges are the key point of access for people buying or selling bitcoin. Coinbase, founded in 2012, is one of the oldest and largest.

The IRS ordered Coinbase to turn over the identities of all US customers who used the exchange between 2013 and 2015, in order to determine whether users have been paying taxes on their bitcoin.

The summons has been highly controversial in cryptocurrency circles since it would reveal the identities of many people not under active investigation, and who haven't broken any laws. People do pay taxes on bitcoin (or they're supposed to), and according to the IRS, virtual currencies are treated like property for federal tax purposes.

"Asking for detailed transaction information on so many people, simply for using digital currency, is a violation of [customers'] privacy, and is not the best way for us to accomplish our mutual objective," Armstrong wrote.

Armstrong also suggested an alternate way forward for Coinbase and the IRS, which he writes is for all US bitcoin users to pay their taxes: Coinbase would send a yearly tax form that is commonly used by stock brokers to report financial gains or losses to customers and the IRS, he argued.

Cool
They really want to control us, good job for Coinbase for protecting the privacy of their clients. We are here for for privacy but if the government will enforce their laws to get our information then it will just defeat the purpose. They could make different method to let the traders who are making an income to pay the appropriate taxes but not all the users who are transacting online. Even banks has a bank secrecy law, what happen to IRS?
7623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 17, 2017, 12:10:40 PM
When you gamble, you are putting your money at stake and you should be ready to lose everything. Moreover, gambling is addictive and will make you to be like a slave. you better find good ways of investing your money other than gambling. You can only win money in gambling if you are lucky. With investment, the returns will be small and slow but at least you will get something at the end of the day.

That is why if we are going to gamble we just need to gamble what we afford to lose. Because there is always regret in the end, remember that. It is better if you are a gambler just make yourself not too fall for it and don't let gambling control you but control gambling for you. Just balance gambling together with some investments that's better.
I salute to anyone who can do both, gambling and investing activities are all both as they have different purpose. Gambling is clearly for entertainment while investing is for serious people who want to grow their money. It should be that way and it must be understood that both are risky and we can lose if we will not be careful in planning what must be done.
7624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 17, 2017, 11:04:42 AM
We can have gambling as job, but how long ? Gambling will never support its player with consistent profits compared to any job. In my opinion, considering gambling as a job must be more shameful act.
It's not never because in reality gambling can be a job and when you consider that as a job that means you are constantly making profit in doing it. Maybe it's not possible for us but they can do it because they are gifted with the extraordinary skills and talents, so, what we have to do is just respect them and hope that we can achieve what they are enjoying now in the future.
7625  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: January 17, 2017, 10:42:39 AM
I did not used to be an anti-fiat since I got here, but as more and more news of banning cash come to my ears, I am starting to completely turn against this money. What I still like in fiat is that you can use bucks, but as soon as they will disappear, my love for fiat will do so.

Well i can't see that coming in the next couple of years or even decades dude. We can use bitcoin or other crypto or even other types of currencies exclusively without fiat. It's even likelier than bitcoin may be banned or limited than fiat because large banks are running this currency. So i think what you said ia highly unlikely
If you are anti-fiat it means you hate the government, we have different experience based on the country we are living as there are government who are corrupt that does not serve the best interest of it's people. Even if I have that kind of feeling sometimes but I no choice since fiat is the only acceptable as a form of money that we can use to survive in our daily lives. Bitcoin is revolutionary but it cannot beat what government has made.
7626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 17, 2017, 08:17:38 AM

It is very hard to control this. But if you are strong enough to control your gambling, you can profit.
I have my own strategy, how I play SlotMachines in the local casinos, and I am writing down every result, how much won or lost after the session. And guess what? I am in profit in the long run, doing this for 2 years (not daily ofc, more like few times a month).

So, if you can control yourself, and strong enough to stick to your tactics, you can profit in the long run also.
I actually know people, who make the living by going to SlotMachine Casinos. I am serious.

Thanks.

Now, that makes your posts very interesting. If you really make a profit in gambling then your method is worth sharing, please do if you don't mind, it will help us. Grin

The control you have is good because you can control yourself to win, but for me, I just control myself in gambling to minimize my loses. So, like I said, it would really help if you can share your method.
7627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Bank would no longer fit for the future? on: January 17, 2017, 06:25:44 AM
Let's face the reality that bank will always be in the future, whatever improvement or changes in our fiat system in the coming future bank will still be the one to monitor and control it. We have tried the decentralize system but we have the government that will always not allow the people not to follow the laws and regulation in our respective locations. Banks will stay and I hope crypto will improve and be working with banks if possible.
7628  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 17, 2017, 06:01:44 AM
There is no way to say to those which had bought or hold their coins on the last pump had regret, it were a 300$ drop, soo you could be with more bitcoins now just by selling it at 1100 and buying it at 800 dollars, easy as that. The bitcoin value will always affect all business related to bitcoin, and all investors, there is no way to stay normal with such change.

That is right, mostly Bitcoin users really are watching the rise and drop of the Bitcoin's price and they are really important to them. Even a slight change affect them. A small change can a affect a Bitcoin user, and if that price drop a $300, it will really be a sword lash to them, it will really hurt the users and dramatically reduce the users.

This is really true if you area trader. Any price movements or price difference is important because this is the way you can determine whether you lose or in profit. If you are on a long term trading or in investment, this price difference will also matter but not too much worry.
For day traders they care so much on the volatility of an asset, thus it makes them decide to trade in the crypto world as it's nature to be volatile and there active monitoring on the price makes them profitable. It's actually all about the right timing and when you can do that you can expect to earn what you expected. Price matters to all of us but we all care for the success of bitcoin and see a bigger price in the future.
7629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: January 17, 2017, 04:58:08 AM
Never gamble while you are drunk!!! I think this is the worst mistake. You can loose easily your coins anyway, but when you drink, you make more reckless bets, and loose in no time. True story Cheesy
Right lol because you can't control yourself to be greedy when you're drunk. You want to earn fast with just a few hours. Try to gamble when you're in a good mood
Like they said, do not gamble when you are in the stable state of mind, when you are drunk your mind is weak as your emotion is more dominant. We know for the fact that gambling is a mind games so we have to follow what it requires us to be a winner in the end. It's always a mistake to gamble when drunk unless you are just playing it for fun.
Mostly men do that and I agree that is foolishness when your main purpose is to make money, you can fully execute your game plan very well since your mind is not working well.

Professional gamblers does not do that but typical gamblers usually do it, it's more fun and entertaining especially if we are playing in the real casino. It's only worst when the outcome does not give what you are expecting, it's good to play just for fun so there's no restriction to gamble even if you are drunk.
7630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: January 16, 2017, 08:46:19 AM
So.... how much have you win or loss gambling ?? And what did you stake ?
I've lost about $60 so far but im planning to win it back. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
A saying well said, however i still need to learn it since my greed is my downfall. Guys and girls
how much money have you made or lost gambling ? Any pointers or warnings ?
I think you already have a gambling addiction be careful on your future in gambling,
I also think that you should limit your gambling maybe set a goal for a day if you reach that goal you should stop for a day
Well, it's not only on a daily basis, it's preferable to be more futuristic by having a long term goal than just limiting your strategy on a day by day gambling activities. It's right that you should put a limit in gambling as we do not know if we have a lucky day or not, but if being profitable is what you aim, you must operate with a long term plan and do adjust your method accordingly that would ensure you a win in the long run.
7631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 16, 2017, 08:34:12 AM

You will get a chance to make money in casino games, but you should know when to stop your play otherwise what mate said it's right casino games are a loss in the long run. But in skill games, we can make if we have proper knowledge on games and have a big bankroll. We can not make long run win sports betting because we are getting a lot of unexpected results, but you can make in a poker game if you are professional in Poker.

Poker is not 100 % skill based game and it is more of luck based as well however people has a real chance in making money from poker games. Proper knowledge is not needed in poker games, all you need is to know when to bluff or when to act so that you could set it up as its looks like you dont have a good card in your possesion
i think bluffing is a skill , so playing poker it's just another skill based games . you can play poker without have nothing indeed but with skills and some experience to see the opponent act real / bluff / or just showing a 'poker face' , the chance for you to get lost in the long run reduced . this game much more fun rather than any other games i guess.
in terms of strategy game yes mate poker is one of the best, a lots of gamblers play poker because they are thinking that they have some skills that they can use especially with live games you can use all strategy that you have to take your advantage and to win decent earnings.
Poker is fun and truly it's profitable if you do a better job, but I have lost my interest in playing it online honestly, I prefer to do it with my friends as I am not really that good. What I do online is playing sports betting because based on my record, I was able to perform well. It's not that profitable but I am pretty sure in the long run, I can learn the key to success.
7632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: January 16, 2017, 05:06:57 AM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!

Actually you can grow your coins by simply buying other coin which is altcoin, for you to double or tripple your investment in there through by doing trade in the exchange platform. Just make sure the coins itself is really have a potential project and big community investing to their project.
currently if you have no experience in trading then you can even make good profit if you simple hold bitcoin. because the price of bitcoin in increasing continuously. so you do not need to invest your money in alt coin or in gambling.
Knowing your capacity is always recommended, you are right, you can still earn in bitcoin by just holding your bitcoins in the long run. However, you must ensure that you have a decent capital to invest in order for you to enjoy and be satisfied with your profit in the future. Most of the traders does not have a decent amount for long term investment, therefore they choose to do day trading for consistent income and even try a riskier one which is gambling.
7633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: January 16, 2017, 04:01:22 AM
Turn off the internet or buy one of those routers that are controlled and made to block online gambling sources.
Have someone else hold your money and keep track of your finances.
- If you are an addict, you will do everything to play gambling
- Turn off the internet, no problem, you can run the net shop to play
- "Have someone else hold your money", The worst thing is that you will go robbery because do not have money to play gambling
- The important thing here is that you can not control yourself, you do not want to stop play gambling
Turning off your computer is just a minor solution to the problem, gambling addiction is a serious problem, hence you have to make a serious method to solve this. You can always do a lot of works using your internet and since you prohibit yourself to use computer because of gambling, you are like sacrificing everything instead of eliminating your gambling problem only.
7634  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 16, 2017, 03:48:55 AM
Paper money will long exist. This is not just a means to pay for goods or services. It is a habit and an indicator of prestige

Right, it's been used by many generations and survived countless wars and natural calamities. Paper money will also overcome the threat of virtual currency which only exist in the digital realm. The future remains bright for the fiat for its availability, portability and convenience.
But so many countries were saturated of using fiat. Before fiat is just a representation of gold. So everyone can exchange their money to gold, the amount of fiat must equal with gold. But  now governtment prints fiat without regard to the amount of gold. Fiat system is no longger appropriate for us.
I don't think the production of fiat is based on gold, I believe fiat money is created by the government to be use by all people as a legal tender using any transactions. It's the most accepted form of money and every country has their own, and I can say that it will not be replace by something else or bitcoin in specific like others are thinking. It's the most convenience and has the power of the government to regulate it, we trust the government so we trust fiat.

SITE UPDATE 11 JANUARY

[i m g width=500]https://i.imgur.com/oK3TuUb.png[/img]

Guys, we are now allow to create account without email. We see that there's a demand for it, as some users still prefer to create new accounts and they have a problem creating new email for each new on-site account.

Those no-email accounts are limited, of course you do not have any email notifications, nor withdraw confirmation, you can't get Rakeback  (LossBack and BetBack bonuses) on such accounts, but they are perfect for fast play and run Smiley

[NEW] Create accounts without email.
[FIX] Fixed several JavaScript issues in various browsers.

Regards,
Alex.
Wow. Thats a good one. Good job. It makes everything very easy. You just have to make account and no  email address required. This is good for new players who wants to play. But ofcourse its still good to have email for notifications. It makes me more special when im receiving notifications. This good for everyone who want fast play.
Yes, it must be a good improvement as previously it might have stopping some hard core gamblers to get start instantly when they prefer to. (also bitdice has email verification for device white listing).
The options to add email later must be innovative as we will be able to secure accounts at any time we prefer.

Thanks Alex for bringing us this new exciting feature.
Security over convenience is the most important, though we can gamble without email add but I prefer to have my real email associated with it, because we do not know if our account will be compromise in the future. I like it, the update was great, it will attract more players. Moreover, the white listing of accounts is also very important, it will only ensure dual security.

7636  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: January 14, 2017, 01:48:59 AM
I saved around the 3 bitcoins and I think that it can still be very profitable with enough patience.

Good thing that you have saved around 3 bitcoin because I haven't save too much. Just don't let yourself panic upon seeing the price to fall down. And perfect example is what is happening today, the price is falling very fast but still just keep on holding those coins. Because it will do a comeback just like what happened from the past.
If he is a trader then he could have sold when the price was above one thousand and then buy again when the price got lower if he did that he may have something close to 4 BTC instead of 3 BTC.
That's really speculative behavior, which is ok if you're just in it to make a quick buck, but it's better to consider Bitcoin a long term investment.
By better I mean that it's better for Bitcoin itself.

Long term investing into the bitcoin is very profitable and also worth your patience, the profit you can make is insane sometimes.
How did you say that? have you experience it already? I guess we are just hoping that the future will be more successful for bitcoins, we have to assurance that bitcoin will bring us profit but we believe it will happen that's why risk our money. For now, we have to start saving already if we haven't yet, put something that we can afford to lose only so we will still be fine if the outcome is not what we have expected.

newbieee Cheesy Smiley Smiley
Welcome to the forum mate, please check this link. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1684035.0 and this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0.

The above threads I have given to you, you can read the rules to be observe while in a campaign and the list of campaign that are still active now. Since you are still a newbie, I doubt if you can start with a campaign, you have to grow your rank first then apply. For now, the best thing you can do is to learn in the forum, who know's you might find bigger earning opportunity than the signature campaign. Good luck.
7638  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: January 13, 2017, 02:17:21 AM
Waiting for my first bitcoin in this forum ,so far im trying to apply in fifferent signature campaign ,but some campaigns thier minimum requirement is full member and up. So i need to upgrade my account here before joining on campaigns.

Right now saved 2 bitcoins and sold the rest already 2 weeks ago what went good and was a good decision in my eyes.
Signature campaigns can be very good to earn some indeed.
He cannot save 2 bitcoins because he is still waiting for his bitcoin from campaign. At Mr. Jacobus, whatever you earn you have to value that, although the amount is low but you must be happy to have your payment, it's definitely the start of your journey here and overtime if you will be more smarter, you can have the opportunity to earn bigger amount like others are currently enjoying.

Sad
That's a common problem with our ISP here in the Philippines, I suggest if you are a heavy user like you do love to watch videos and downloads, etc., better avail the VPN service for globe, it's no capping and no limit with a very affordable rate on a monthly basis. I guess there's a thread here that is selling VPN and he can give you a free trial.

Incase your guy didn't notice, yesterday all NBA matches go all the way to the host, so today I'm gonna find some away game to bet. New Orleans Pelicans seem to be a good one, Brooklyn Nets are almost dead in the league and Pelicans took all their last 5 meeting, today should be a piece of cake to them. New Orleans Pelicans @1.61
Bad news for you dude, Davis is not playing and suddenly the line went in favor of the Brooklyn Nets, the line closed at -2.5 Nets and they are leading in the half so probably they are gonna win this game. They have not won a game lately so this is there only chance to beat a Davisless New Orleans Pelicans.
