7641  Other / Off-topic / Re: Setting up an investigation into Cryptopia, support our cause! on: May 28, 2019, 02:38:32 AM
First off you might want to move the thread over to service discussion -> Exchanges located here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0
or even to scam accusations under trading discussions board. I do think service discussion would be more appropriate to gather more support from others who were users of the exchange before it went into liquidation.

Next you need would need to show the others who are in on this group you have formed. Either with a way to show they are truly individuals who have lost their funds due to the incompetence of the investigating authorities as you claim they have performed in this matter or by a way to show individuality such as a linkden in page or reddit name.
Because nobody will back with you(r) group if you can not show this is not just you who are asking for funds to take action against the exchange to recover your cryptocurrency.
7642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even possible Craig Wright? WTF!?! REVERSE BITCOIN HARD FORK (RBH) on: May 28, 2019, 02:19:41 AM
I think craig wright got the idea when cz mentioned a couple of weeks ago he wanted to reverse the blockchain so to get back those 7,000 btc stolen from his exchange. It was something nobody wanted to happen or could even be achieved in some discussions.
Csw at it again with the absurd and unknown to garner even more attention away from bitcoin and its blockchain. Roll Eyes
7643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MORE TYPES OF BITCOIN SCAMS on: May 28, 2019, 01:37:27 AM
This is the problem with cryptocurrency.
Those who wish to stay anonymous makes it easier for these type of things to happen to those who are not versed in how to protect themselves.
Stay safe and know what to look for when dealing with individuals you dont feel right about with in the first place. Embarrassed
7644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE OLD AND NEW MINING BITCOIN SCAM ALWAYS on: May 28, 2019, 01:33:13 AM
I've been in mining before but I didn't encountered a scammer like this where in they will ask for details and connect you to the blockchain well only few people who doesn't have enough knowledge will be tricked by this, It's important that we should secure our personal details including our login details and we shouldn't be giving it to anyone.

A real support will just give guides and instructions on how are you going to set it up properly but wouldn't ask for any details and specific amount of coin/s.

thats what this topic was for, there are many newbies entering into the crypto world which is an advantage for the scammers so they trick them and get their things done and hence was the reason to spread the word !

In the cryptoworld there will always those who will try and take advantage of those who arent knowledgeable of these attempts to steal their crypto away with an elaborate hoax or scheme.
Best to be wary about these type of individuals and the racket they try to get those who are new in crypto involved with them.
7645  Economy / Gambling / Re: CrashBot - 3% Daily profit (Money Back guarantee!) on: May 28, 2019, 01:27:15 AM
There is not guarantee they will pay you constantly until it happens then who are you going to complain to when it does?
It sort of reminds me of those multiply your bitcoin sites when crypto was still in its early phases. You would deposit you bitcoin and then they give you the opinion to reinvest so if you dont withdraw you will receive more. But after a couple of payments come through they all the sudden stop and you lose your initial investment and only have collected a fraction of it from these micropayments every day.
3% daily profit until when? Till they close up the site and you dont have anybody to complain to of "Where are my coins!?".
Because we have all seen this play out before.
There is not unlimitless fountain of crypto which wont ever run out until the the plug is pulled. Tongue
This is the true reality even if you like to hear it or not. Undecided
7646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 28, 2019, 01:13:22 AM
For some reason they are televising the game both these teams had back in november and the raptors were outscoring them in the 4th quarter and this was when steph curry was injured and sitting on the bench in his street clothes. It was in toronto and ended up in OT.
They still had jonas valanciunas in this game and I think this is where they were weak down the middle.
https://youtu.be/290z2FhsC2o
This time around they are much stronger team and could take on the warriors in the scoring department.
It will be a tough series and deciding who will win it could depend on who gets off with a good start to game one thursday night.
7647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXPOSED: The real creator of Bitcoin is ... on: May 28, 2019, 01:05:51 AM
In my opinion I would say nobody will ever know who he is and even if people are claiming it was created by the united states government they have no proof of this either.
I think it is just best not to know who the creator of bitcoin was because then they would be a threat to one government or another and then they would more then likely to end the threat to their countries financial system.
7648  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: May 28, 2019, 12:00:17 AM
How are you guys even have that much balance? I mean that have liked BTC balance inside a Casino, did I just missed something or I am late for the party. Are you guys save your money for this day. I am so confused I have seen a lot of guys with BTC balance yet I am here with hardly 0.1 BTC.
That isnt the available balance. Cheesy
It is the total amount wagered on the site for each coin.
This includes the amounts won and amounts lost for a total value with over all time betting.
Say I bet 5btc on the site with a 2.0x bet winning it and then lost this same 5btc on the very next bet. The total amount wagered for all bets would be 10btc.
I would then walk away from the site with my 5btc with a wagered amount totalling 10btc instant vip membership. Wink
7649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Mining rigs. 1 perfect the other freezing every 10-12 hours. Please help! on: May 27, 2019, 11:53:39 PM
One of the rigs could be overheating explaining why it would mine for 10-12 hours then all the sudden freezing.
Because you said the specs were the same for both rigs so it could just be the environment they are in are different.
But as the other member mentioned you need to test the parts you installed on system which is having issues with it stopping to mine constantly on a regular basis. It could be a bad stick of ram or a driver issue. If it is running off a hard drive maybe try installing a linux based os just for mining on a usb so to take this possibly of it failing at that point out of the equation.
7650  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 - fast, fair, rakeback, bonuses BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: May 27, 2019, 11:47:03 PM
The user who referred that brave man surely got decent amount of money in that single bet
If he used a referral link the user that gave out his link would receive BTC0.1 but there's no way to know publicly if someone is referred or not.
If they received this amount in btc for just one single bet then this is a lot if they did infact use a referral link and not just their own. I am pretty sure the site would know if they did regardless. I doubt they would of wanted to jeopardize their winnings due to breaking the sites rules of referring ones self inorder to receive the commission of 0.2% as someone mentioned it is on this site.
7651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best airdrop you have ever gotten... on: May 27, 2019, 11:41:31 PM
I would have to say the latest one given by blockchain.info website for stellar.
It was simple and easy to validate an account with them then they sent a rather good amount for the airdrop afterwards.
And who doesnt have an account with them as their very first bitcoin wallet?
I am pretty sure people used them to test send some crypto to their site in the past atleast once.

I'm not usually much of a cook, but I wanted to share this bread recipe that I created after months of experimentation.

Peer-to-peer power bread

Sounds like it would go well with blockchain beer. Grin

7654  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your BITCOIN price prediction this year? on: May 27, 2019, 11:08:14 PM
If it can surpass the $10,000 mark then the sky is the limit. Smiley
The news media outlets will have a headline to start the market frenzy and everyone will see it and hear about it and the fomo will begin again.
People will start buying it up and then it will reach the all time high and might even surpass it as well.
Only if it can achieve this milestone then can see it reach $25,000 and then everything will be all right in the cryptoworld once more. Grin
7655  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 27, 2019, 11:00:16 PM
Making less than 1mbtc a day trading minus the network fees once everything is said and done is just not worth it to most people for the time they spend sitting at a desk watching the market movements. One could make more at an 8 hour a day job instead of what it works out to $1 per hour which I dont think anybody would waste an entire day doing it.
As for a good cryptocurrency exchange there doesnt seem to be one at the moment. Everybody thought it was binance but they seemed to failed at most peoples expectations of what an exchange should be. And that is completely secure with bulletproof attacks from hack attempts. Which they have shown they can not do. Even with all the available funding they have at their disposal.
I would think the local ones which are smaller is your best bet now since they are catering to selective amount of customers and are off the radar because of their low volume and small amount of customers.
7656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia 1060 3GB - Which Coin? on: May 27, 2019, 10:39:00 PM
How if you try this, you can continue to mining ethereum but auto-convert the coin to ravencoin so you can get more rewards than you mining ravencoin directly.
Or you can buy more GPU to install on your computer, and you can get more hash power to mining Grin
Besides whattomine, you can try to visit on this website

He can't mine ETH with his card, it's a 1060 3GB so he switched to another coin to continue mining

I mean, he could still mine ETH with his 1060 3GB because according to whattomine and the site I give, he can mining ETH.
So if he is mining ETH, he can convert the rewards into RVN or other profitable coins he wants and he can use miningpoolhub for the pool because I see that ETH and RVN were available on that site and I think he can get much RVN from mining ETH.
The dag file for ethereum has gone over the 3gb space so it is physically impossible for him to mine ethereum on these cards. Even if whattomine say it this is incorrect.
Only 1060 cards with 6gb can still mine ethereum until the dag file reaches that size then only 8gb cards will only be able to mine that algorithm.
7657  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance and EUR/BTC on: May 27, 2019, 10:32:05 PM
There was cryptopia and hitbtc who I remember had eur to btc pairing but they are both not good exchanges any longer to deal with from the hacking and complaints from their customers they have endured lately. But they were the only ones I knew of who had euro to btc pairs.
Best to go with a well known exchange with a good track record. Not a newly created exchange.

7659  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Crypto exchange with VISA card withdrawals feature on: May 27, 2019, 09:37:09 PM
Thanks
I just need this specific withdrawal. to MY VISA card, as I have really god exchange rate from USD to my local currency via VISA, about 3% better than all other ways.
So if you know for any other service beside CEX.io that offers this withdrawal, please share it.
I spent 2 hours google it, but no luck.
So you only need it done one time for this withdrawal to be done once?
Then yeah dont do it using cex.io because it sounds like it will be a large amount and at 3% could be much more then you would be willing to pay.
As for which service to use maybe check into using localbitcoins as the above user suggested because if it is just for a one time payment there shouldnt be a need to signup for a service and then cancel using them not needing them ever again. That would just be a waste of you and their time.
You should try looking into crypto cards (cryptopay if they are still around) which have the visa logo on them if there are any. They might be able to do a transfer through them directly to a specific visa account if you go through the proper channel via their support line.
Best of luck to you. Wink
7660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will NBA teams start paying Bitcoin to their players? on: May 27, 2019, 09:30:06 PM
I first heard about a similar story happening in one of the professioanl european soccer leagues where they were going to start paying their players in bitcoin. But never followed up on it. Cant even remember the name of the team to be honest. But they were definitely being paid in a cryptocurrency for their salaries.
Didnt know it was offered to the NFL but for the NBA I imagine they are saying accepting bitcoin payments for merch at their stores and not paying they players in bitcoins. Because their salaries are astronomical and with the instability of cryptocurrency they wouldnt take a paycut on any given day.
Even a $100 difference in bitcoins price would mean a couple of $10k difference when they are getting paid in the millions. Undecided
