I take bitcoin as an investment and that is the only reason why I buy bitcoin. I also earn various other crypto coins from various sources like Dogecoin from cloud mining and Steem from blogging. I always convert these coins in to bitcoin and store it into a safe place.
I only use a little amount from my holdings for trading purpose so that I can earn some little extra income. Bitcoin is a one of the best investment decisions I have made in last two years.

Shorting is form of trading and it is as risky as taking along position. Every trade is risky. It depends of your risk taking capability on how much you can invest even after knowing that you may loose all of them.
So don't blame shorting instead blame his capability that he couldn't play it right and lost the money. I have made a lot of profit from shorting technique and also lost some.

These kind of software doesn't exist. It is full of malicious elements and if you install it in your computer, you will probably loose everything to trozons. All your private records will become visible to the hackers.
Don't be greedy and try to earn bitcoin in a normal way like trading, signature campaign or by providing service. This kind of software will put your money in to lot of trouble and you may end up loosing all.

It is always wise to store your bitcoin in more than two places including hardware and online wallet. If you are holding a good amount of bitcoin, prefer to keep majority of your holding in your hardware wallet and never disclose the account number to anyone. Keep small amounts in online wallets for quick transfer and trading purpose.
This way you can keep most of your holdings safe and away from hackers. Even if the online wallet gets hacked, you will still have the majority in your hardware wallet. never keep all your bitcoins in a single place.

Almost every investment is subjected to market risk and bitcoin is exposed to even greater amount of risk as there is not central authority. So if the price starts crashing, no one will step ahead to prevent it. Also it is not back by any asset like gold or any other precious metal. Hence bitcoin investment is always riskier.
However, bitcoin also has the potential to reward you suitable if you are willing to take the risk. Those who are investing in bitcoin from long time now, they are already sitting on a huge profit. So invest wisely and wait for long period to get a good amount of return in bitcoin. No other conventional investment will be able to give you that much of return.

I am sure that the dream will come true for many of us. We all are trying to do the same with bitcoin. I personally want to buy a superbike with my bitcoin savings and with the blessings of God, I hope I will be able to do it within a year or so.

I do not use any single wallet for my bitcoins. I always keep more than two wallets including hardware and online wallet. This is the key to safely store my bitcoins. I also maintain a small balance in my trading accounts which I use for daily trading.
never keep your bitcoins in any single wallet as it can be hacked and you will end up loosing all your bitcoins. Always use more than two wallets for your bitcoins so that if any one wallet is hacked, some of your bitcoins will be saved.

That is the normal characteristics of any stock market. After a dream run, all stock price goes down because people tend to book profit and sell their holdings. So nothing to worry about it.
Seeing the current level of $860, I would recommend you to buy more bitcoin if you want to make profit in short run. But don't invest a big amount. You can invest small amount after certain period of time. This is called "Systematic investment plan"..Invest small amount after certain duration. So that you can average out the price and make good amount of profit when the dream run starts again.

That was anticipated long back. people investing in bitcoin, knew that bitcoin price will be higher than gold one day and I think that is the beauty of bitcoin. The dynamics of their pricing based on the global trust.
However, gold has a different appeal to the investors. Gold doesn't always have the material value. It can be used for making ornaments and other stuffs. So where bitcoin is a pure investment, gold is not.
