7661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any place to gamble IF the Mayweather vs McGregor fight will happen? on: January 23, 2017, 02:32:17 AM
Mayweather versus Pacquiao was a disgrace and a big disappointment. All the teasing and all the hype came to what? Nothing but 2 fighters not really trying to win the fight. They did not deserve the money given to them. That fight was one of the reasons why fans have lost their faith on boxing as a sport. It is all about the money over there and the spirit of the sport is gone.

Boxing's loss is MMA's gain.
I saw it in facebook, if mayweather will refuse the on the fight, Manny Pacquiao is willing to fight  McGregor, I think this would be a great fight than Mayweather. They are both aggressive and we will surely get what our money's worth. What is your take on this guys?

I would go for Pacman, he likes to shut down a shit talking opponent. (Exemption was on Mayweather because he runs like a chicken) Grin
7662  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Campaign Manager on: January 21, 2017, 06:33:47 AM

BTW to BlackmambaPH good luck pre sa hinahawakan mong campaign this time, more works to come. Kunting suggest ko lang na wag mong hayaan na yung mga members mo ang mag adjust sa timezone natin, lage kang mag depends sa forum time. Ex. Kung nag ka aberya sa part mo, tas late ka makakapag payout, din sabihin mong ganito na mkkapag payout ka in Tuesday 6:47 AM forum time which 2:47 PM sa local time natin (GMT +8)
Hindi yung sasabihin mong late kang makaka payout in Tuesday 8:00 AM GMT+8 which is yan ang time dito sa atin ar mahihirapan yung mga members mo. But its just a suggestion only, ikaw na bahala kung i aabsorb mo or hindi. Anyways good luck, more campaigns to come👍
Currently BlackmambaPH is handling the biggest campaign with the highest payment per rank, so far based on my observation he is running the campaign well and if he adjust his time based on our time, there might be a valid reason for that and since he is the manager he controls it.

Actually if I am one of the members in the campaign, I would accept the rules because it's a high paying campaign and it's worth of our time. Anyway, good luck to all of us, more Pinoys to come as campaign manager, hopefully. SF10 is Pinoy right?
7663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: January 21, 2017, 06:14:58 AM
That a pretty small amount to invest in long term, I recommend you start trading so you can increase it substantially especially if you are doing it daily. Honestly, with that small amount, the least you can do is take a bigger risk and altcoins is the answer when it comes to trading.

Another option I can give to you is to invest it in gambling sites or just simply use it to play.
7664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: January 21, 2017, 06:01:42 AM
It all depends on your strategy, if you are an investors hold your BTC, the price will still test $1000 soon and even surpass it, but if you are a swing trader you need to know when to cut your loss when the price dropped because some people make their money shorting BTC

And if we're a people very need money now, I suggest you
to borrow it to someone for you. Later when prices bitcoin rise,
sell and pay your loan.
There are two problems I see with the suggestion to loan the coins:                                  1,you never can tell how long before market retests the $1000 level again;  2, most loans are never paid back, because first problem could not be resolved by amount borrowed, The best bet is certainly to hold your coins and keep your ears on the ground,.
Definitely borrowing is not a good option, you cannot dictate the price of bitcoin to rise while you have the responsibility to repay your loan at the agreed specific date and amount. It's not worth and do not do that, you are like gambling IMO and your chance is only when you are lucky when the timing arrive as you expected it.

7666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 21, 2017, 02:47:34 AM
Philadelphia is much better quality than last year, but it will continue to play next year, but if Portland does not need to win this game, it will be a long time to escape the first 8 opportunities, but the hosts 4 and 5 are also very effective.
Portland needs a win but they slip this game away, it has Lillard who was not able to shoot 1 of the 2 FT, it could have went to OT if he shoot it because Robert Covington made a 3 points. Now, this team is getting hotter, actually I lose my bet in this game with Portland -2.5 but that's fine, I'll got with the Portland in the next game.

Lessons learned, don't bet against the hottest team in the NBA now. Grin
7667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: January 21, 2017, 02:38:23 AM
analysis is a must-do when gambling to soccer
Not only in soccer, all type of sports if you do sports betting. I think we can say we have to analyze every time we gamble, it's important as that would give us some confidence on the bet we put in, and if ever we lost it, we will have a basis on what to improve so the next time we can do better.
7668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: January 20, 2017, 06:06:06 AM
For me,  gambling should be considered as an addiction. Discpline and control to ourselves  is the best  shield  to play a game in which you can win or lose money .
We can get addicted in gambling if we want to. And gambling is a game and never considered as sickness because once you said that gambling is a considred as a sickness then that is wrong because for me GAMBLING is a game and if we get ADDICTED in gambling then thats the time that ADDICTED is considered as a sickness and not GAMBLING.
It's the wrong impression of the losers and the uneducated gamblers, thinking that gambling is a sickness is solely based on their past bad experience. Gambling is fun by all honesty, it can give you entertainment if you really are aiming for this, it will only give you bad results if you are not doing what is right and proper according to your purpose.
7669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: January 20, 2017, 05:05:54 AM
If gambling is a problem for anyone then it would be time for them to look at taking a break and like with most things there are 2 ways to do it, straight out cold turkey or taper down.

Maybe just stick with buying a lottery ticket each week if you still have the urge to gamble
.
That would be a good idea, it's not expensive and you can still gamble. However, the chances are very low and it's only 1 in a millions of people who were given the opportunity to win and be a millionaire. Quitting needs time to do it, a gambler depends on the seriousness of addiction cannot just say quit and do it, it's a process and it's slow, but possible with with sincerity.
It's not exciting as what we are currently doing but it's more safe, you will not lose big because you only bet like once a day or a little span of time. Lottery does not really give us a great winning percentage so I don't think it will make most gamblers interested on it. We want real action like we want to know the outcome as fast as possible, playing dice would be suitable for that kind of needs but needs to be controlled as well.
7670  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 50 Unlimited Internet on: January 20, 2017, 04:24:55 AM
If this is VPN, I think it's very expensive for a price. Some legitimate resellers I saw only offer up to 150/month. Actually I was able to avail on one of the VPN resellers in our country but it seems like the connection is not stable and it distract my job which I need internet at least 8 hours a day.

This is only good for students who has no regular use of internet, but if you could give me a trial, I am willing to try it out.
7671  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: January 20, 2017, 03:06:26 AM
i just recharge my mobile using bitcoins and no other option is available for me to buy any thing with bitcoin. Most of the retailers dont know about bitcoins.Even if they know, transaction time for bitcoin is more and they may not show interest in accepting bitcoins.
yes we have also  only the single opportunity that i can recharge my mobile using bitcoin,  other wise in my area not a single shopkeeper accept bitcoin  i think the only reason can be that they do not know any about about bitcoin i think they need a proper knowledge about bitcoin and they we can expect that they will start accepting bitcoin in their shops for shopping.
You have to stop thinking about walking into a shop and paying with bitcoin because it won't happen, you may find the odd shop accepting it but never mainstream because no shop is going to hold up customers while waiting for your transaction to confirm.

What country are you in?
I am sure if you look you will find more things you can purchase online besides phone credit. A lot of people including myself pay bills with btc now.
It's possible if we do not use online transaction and have our own physical bitcoin coins, but I don't think it would be possible and it's still hard for the local shops to deposit that amount or convert into fiat. Please, let us accept the real situation now, bitcoin is very effective as currency for online transaction, so we must enjoy its benefits.
7672  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 20, 2017, 02:47:22 AM
Of course can't fiat money replace bitcoin, because we still use fiat money at the end look how much banks they are in the world they won't just change to go to bitcoin. Bitcoin is just good when you trading or other stuff. Also we need fiat for bitcoin price.
lol you right we need fiat for bitcoin price. In my opinion, it is an utopic idea to think bitcoin can replace fiat in the near future.  But the awareness about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and also the volume of bitcoin which can be using increase day by day. This is also so important.
If you will ask the majority of people if they know about bitcoin, it will be easy to determine the answer. No, fiat will always be very useful to us and it cannot be replace by bitcoin, we are very ambitious if we think of that. We have our government and we have to respect the law as it is only for our own good. Don't think the world would be a better place to live when only bitcoin will exist.
7673  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: January 18, 2017, 08:06:44 AM
As at yesterday the 17-1-2017 bitcoin got a gained of about $68 closed around $905. Today we expect the buying momentum to continue as most traders and investors are buying now. The resistance level at $900 has been broken and bitcoin may likely close around or above $1000 by the end of the week. Bitcoin is enjoying a great goodwill this days and I expect it to be raising through out 2017.
It's still at $890 at btc preev now, this price is very good already from last weak continues crash and I expect this price will increase like the amount you said this month. It's very likely to happen since it's increasing now and a good timing to buy if you are planning to take advantage of the short term profit.
7674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: January 18, 2017, 07:52:49 AM
Then everybody will wonder why and want to use them. The ban would not work anyway and it will make the government look really bad. There is a country in South America that has banned it but I dont remember which onw.

Not really instead it is the other way around.  Remember Governement have all the power and trust of the majority of its people.  So if the government labeled BTC as illegal and banned it,  those who are holding BTC and trasacting with it will really look bad.  Because these people will go underground transaction in order to use their BTC.

Yes it’s a game of trust and the one who has maximum trust, wins the game. People trust fiat currency because the government trusts it and again the government is people’s organization so while bring it to the micro level, one trust a $10 currency note because the other one do the same and they mutually have the unwritten agreement that they agree, a $10 note has the value of $10. Same about bitcoin, if all bitcoin users believe that bitcoin is worth $10,000 then everyone will have to believe it.
We do believe with bitcoin as well as it's price, but it's based on fiat so we can say that without fiat bitcoin will not exist. The government is the highest authorities in this world, we elected them and they make laws and we fully because we trust them. You are right, it's a game of trust, without it this world will be in chaos. In the end, if they decide to ban bitcoins, we have to respect and trust them.
7675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 18, 2017, 07:34:04 AM
The game was close. It can went either way. Wes Matthew's 3's was the big difference. Butler play good tonight however, they did a good job of pressuring on Chicago, making them make tough shots,

Jimmy Butler had 24 points and I still think he is a genuine NBA superstar. This is just one game.
It's one game but if you look at the past games of the Chicago Bulls, it's not impressive anymore. Bulls had a good start but with the health issues of Wade, Rondo, and Butler, it slightly lessen the chemistry factor that is needed to win. As as see, the big superstar in the team is Butler but he cannot handle it by himself, he needs the support of wade and Rondo, especially their bench.
7676  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: January 18, 2017, 06:32:43 AM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?

these are 3 different questions you are asking here and all of them are general question that needs to be broken down to specifics.
- for trading you need to read a lot and gain experience to know how to analyze the charts and the news
- a bigger business needs more money, you can get investors, take a loan, take a friend to share the business with,... and so many more depending on what business you are talking about
- work harder and wiser Cheesy
The bold part is very important, whatever we do as long as we work wiser and harder, it will always generate good results. If we say smart, focus on income generating activities where you can use your skills and passion, it will help you do it better and the success would come easy for you.
7677  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: January 18, 2017, 06:17:54 AM
there is many way to grow your bitcoin through investment like as trading and gambling and if your are expert and experienced in gambling then you can join gambling and i hope you will get a big profit through gambling and you are not satisfied from gambling then hold your bitcoin for higher value as long term investment.
I think trading is less risk than gambling although there is a provably fair in gambling site I would suggest to try trading instead of gambling. Gambling is one of the most risk investment so much better if you stay away
You got it right, in fact it should not be compared with gambling because it has been known to us that gambling is merely for entertainment. Talking about investment, it should be something that could give us a decent chance to be profitable and I do not see it in gambling unless you invest in a online casino's bankroll.
7678  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 110BTC MAX WIN, MOST ADVANCED, SECURE, PACESETTER CASINO. on: January 18, 2017, 04:56:51 AM
I see around 40 people online when i log.
Is there any provision to hide our online status because by seeing the jackpot amount and frequency of dice rolls, I guess many gamblers would have opted not to show their online status. Is there any personal settings available for this, I checked twice still I am not sure about where and how to do.

You cannot hide your online status, but you can hide your username from bets so that it shows 'hidden' instead of your username if you wish to be more anonymous.

The new accounts that can be made without email combined with the option of hiding your name in the bets should be enough to feel anonymous.

I think that is more than better... Cool
Too much...anonynity can "hurt" some times. Roll Eyes
What exactly do you mean? You are just anonymous if you prefer to be, but in case your account will be compromise or any related problems you might encounter, you can provide the necessary information that might require your personal information to solve the problem fast.

If there's no problem that you will encounter then being anonymous is always best to maintain.
7679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 18, 2017, 04:11:13 AM
Mavs lead by 13 points now with 8:40 mins remaining in the 3rd qtr. I prematch thought that the Bulls would win at home but Bulls are not being able to stop Mavs attack at all. They are unable to read the Mavs plays and either end up fouling or give away an open shot at the basket. Bulls really gotta step it up if they plan to win this.
Game is not over yet, the Bulls are fighting back to win this game, it's a close game now and the Mavs are leading with 1 point only with less than 2 minutes. I hope the Bulls will not let their fans down again, they should prove they are a good team and they can win games home convincingly.
Mavs wins with 1 point they managed to hold the lead until the buzzer sometimes its better to place bets with unfavored teams to win like what happen with houston against the heat unexpected wins and ML is really in good odd.
Not all the time I guess, it depends on the situation and there's a right spot where an underdog or a favorites will most likely to win. This game has made the Bulls favored due to their good performance against the Memphis Grizzlies and that ignite the hype to attract the public to take -4.5 bulls which is playing at home.

Coinbase CEO Says Bitcoin Exchange Will Be 'Forced' to Fight IRS Order

In November of 2016, the Internal Revenue Service ordered bitcoin trading company Coinbase to hand over the identities of millions of customers who made transactions through the company over three years, to find out who hasn't been paying their taxes.

Now, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has suggested in a Medium post that the company will go to court with the IRS, writing, "...it appears we will be forced to contest [the subpoena] in court to protect our customers' privacy, at great expense."

Online bitcoin exchanges are the key point of access for people buying or selling bitcoin. Coinbase, founded in 2012, is one of the oldest and largest.

The IRS ordered Coinbase to turn over the identities of all US customers who used the exchange between 2013 and 2015, in order to determine whether users have been paying taxes on their bitcoin.

Read More: How Coinbase Traders Are Fighting Back IRS Attempts to Reveal Their Identities

The summons has been highly controversial in cryptocurrency circles since it would reveal the identities of many people not under active investigation, and who haven't broken any laws. People do pay taxes on bitcoin (or they're supposed to), and according to the IRS, virtual currencies are treated like property for federal tax purposes.

"Asking for detailed transaction information on so many people, simply for using digital currency, is a violation of [customers'] privacy, and is not the best way for us to accomplish our mutual objective," Armstrong wrote.

Armstrong also suggested an alternate way forward for Coinbase and the IRS, which he writes is for all US bitcoin users to pay their taxes: Coinbase would send a yearly tax form that is commonly used by stock brokers to report financial gains or losses to customers and the IRS, he argued.

Cool
They really want to control us, good job for Coinbase for protecting the privacy of their clients. We are here for for privacy but if the government will enforce their laws to get our information then it will just defeat the purpose. They could make different method to let the traders who are making an income to pay the appropriate taxes but not all the users who are transacting online. Even banks has a bank secrecy law, what happen to IRS?
