7681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: November 11, 2016, 02:10:16 AM
if i'm rich i will still gamble but just for fun, but the fact is people who rich will dont have time to gamble cause they spend their time for another stuff like built a new business or go for trip, maybe they only can gamble for a while and focus for new life
Some rich people, are so rich that they can do some things that we can only do in a monopoly game and in fact I think that is the way they treat it as a monopoly game, maybe that is why for some rich people gambling is not really attractive.
For sure they are not attracted of making money in gambling but I believe they are attracted with having fun with it. Rich people has a lot of money to enjoy so they can do enjoy in gambling even we are thinking that we can lose big amount of money.

They can afford to lose where not all gamblers can.
7682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 11, 2016, 02:05:47 AM
Gambling is not wrong, Gambling is for entertainment and for past time. I can say it is wrong when you gamble your money that is very needed to pay something important. Because let us admit it that most of us gambler we gamble our money even we really need the money to pay something important but we try our luck to double it or to increase our money and with that instead of earning more we loss the money and that loss will create another problem.
If someone is doing that then that person is without a doubt addicted to gambling and should do everything in his power to leave the habit once and for all.
The sad reality is we cannot easily leave gambling if we are seriously addicted with it, if no one will help us then we will surely remain addicted. Big problems will come if we continue to gamble longer as the risk of losing all our money is always there. It is just a matter of time if we cannot quit at the right time, we might lose everything.
7683  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 11, 2016, 01:59:22 AM
Those peoople are interested into get some kind of interest on their bitcoins, something we can get with lending at poloniex, besides that i dont see any advantage into let my bitcoin under the control of banks, bitcoin its freedom, if people let the coins into a bank, bitcoin will be useless.
You are right, bitcoin is freedom and we are decentralized while bank are centralized. It's hard to consolidate the two as one should be inferior and I believe we are inferior when it comes to transaction online. We should fight for our freedom as we do not need bank because we can do banking here in the blockchain.

In our world, there's no one controlling us and we can continue to be anonymous as long as we want.
7684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 11, 2016, 01:53:24 AM
My bet for tonight:

Charlotte vs Utah Jazz  OVER 184,5  points at quote@1.40
Atlanta vs Chicago       OVER 194,5  points at quote@1.35
Golden State vs Dallas OVER 199,5  points at quote@1.30
Washington vs- Boston OVER 204,5  points at quote@1.40
Indiana vs Philadelphia  WIN Indiana         at quote@1.10
New York vs Brooklyn    WIN New York      at quote@1.30
Orlando vs Minnesota     WIN Orlando       at quote@1.70
Oklahoma vs Toronto     WIN Oklahoma    at quote@1.65

Parlay at quote@13.80

Bad you lose your orlando and Oklahoma bets, if you do flat betting you are still down as a result. Really hard to trust the Thunder against a top caliber team, they are only relying with westbrook and you know what will happen if westbrook will have a bad game. He shoots the ball all the time that's why they lost.
7685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 10, 2016, 03:20:26 AM
It's easy to say just stop gambling, but if you can't stop, you can try what i do. Set a limit to how much money you can spend each week on gambling and stick to it. It helps me keep from spending too much.

It's going to be effective, but it would take longer to totally quit gambling that way, if you are still investing in your bankroll there is a chance that you are going to cheat your self and add more funds when you feel the "urge" again and it would just make you go back to gambling from time to time... But anyway, along with your way, I think keeping your self busy earning money in real life could help you quit gambling faster...  Smiley
The problem is when you are in addiction you do not know how to manage your bankroll and even set a limit for yourself. Once the problem is deep already, you need to totally quit as what I can see is that, it is the only solution that will help you cure the disease.

Disease is what you called when the addition is so serious already that would resort you to losing your money you cannot afford to lose.
7686  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: November 10, 2016, 03:14:02 AM
Passive income is good if you already have an active income that you can spend for your daily expenses in life. You need money to survive your basic need buy you need also to think of the future and your passive income will take care of that.

It depends on what type of passive income you are going to get. It's either in real life business passive income or in bitcoin, but in bitcoin I think that is a very hard way to have a passive income if you will just depend on a very few way of earning. But if you do a lot of ways like, sales in bitcoin, trading , investment in bankroll casino's. I think this will give you passive income.
Yes if you are a freelancer you can earn some but cannot expect huge profits, while if you are having a special skill like you are a developer then you can get paid much more from bitcoin apps owners and site owners who need help of developers because there are less developers here in this community and we badly need more.

Freelancers usually are just working for a project based titles and jobs. So they are earning for somehow but we cannot say that they are earning passive income, because once the project was totally done and complete. They are no longer to be needed to work for it, but there are certain freelancers who are very good when it comes to their jobs that a lot of companies are hiring them outside the premises of a company just to maintain some needs of the company and getting paid as a regular employee.
It's not considered as passive income but more on active income, if they do not work they have no salary. A passive income is something like an investment where we put our money in it and in the future it will generate profit that we do not need to work for it and monitor so much like in the early stage.
7687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: November 10, 2016, 03:09:29 AM
I never heard the gambling site offered 0% house edge, it mean if you play at the site offer 0% you will never win. sorry if i'm wrong about it.
Sportsbook has no house edge, they have different odds for the bettors to choose from, so you heard it now from me?
It really depends on a certain gambler on what is his favorite gambling games that would make him enjoy and I do believe sports betting is what you are looking for if you do not want a house edge.
7688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 10, 2016, 02:50:30 AM
I believe that is it absolutely impossible that btc will destroy the bank system.
Beside its unpredictability, how could btc ever reach every country in the world? Think about the third world and remember: no internet no bitcoin.
I think that it is also impossible, for fiat still rule the world, and of course the fiat will continue to live because it is assisted by the government, so it is impossible that the bitcoin could make bank disappear

This is the reality that we can't change, fiat will still the most used type of currency and medium for different transactions. Even though there are online transactions or being paid by credit cards, still people will convert it to fiat and the banks are the ones who are responsible for doing that. So, bitcoin profits that needed to be sold and converted to cash, banks are needed for it so they will not be gone, they will remain.
That's true, we will not exist without banks, bitcoin is just a small part of a currency but it has not gain the trust of the majority, bank does. We have to be realistic and admit to ourselves that it will not happen that bitcoin will make Banks disappear. Instead we have to appreciate that bank and bitcoin gives us some comfort for our transaction having two options.
7689  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: November 10, 2016, 02:38:06 AM
I guess we will see everything fall and bitcoin rise Cheesy I dont think it will drop below 400 in the next 8 months.
you are right bitcoin is really increasing its price too much higher and bitcoin adoption is going to increasing too much faster because people strongly believe in bitcoin.

After 20 long years bitcoin can replace fiat. As long as there are believers bitcoin can go on the place that no one expected. Bitcoin will be the base of all fiat and crypto currency.
I bet you on that, it will not happen. I am sure after 20 years dollar will still in the circulation but I doubt bitcoin will still be progressive that time or there will be new crypto currency that will take over the position of bitcoin.

You are right, we have to believe but we should reserve some doubts as well, especially when you are comparing it to a more stronger fiat.
7690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do Gamblers Really Win? on: November 09, 2016, 02:55:46 AM
You have to question yourself why you are gambling. If you are gambling to win then you are either scamming yourself or would have to acquire the correct skills and then gamble in more skill based games like poker, black jack or sportsbetting. Most casino games make people lose because the house has the edge. You are already a loser before you even sat on the table.

I think the word scamming yourself is not appropriate when a person is gambling. It's either he just doing it because he just can't help himself to stop and thinks that it can be a good source of income. Because even there might be losing still there have a chance of winning but not that too often. But you are right with it on those casino games, considered as loser already upon sitting.
You will only think you are scamming yourself when in the first place you have already accepted that you lose in the game. Real gamblers does not act like that, they are more optimistic that they will win despite of the house advantage of a certain site.
7691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling - New to bitcoin on: November 09, 2016, 02:42:06 AM
Hello I am new to this forum and also new to Bitcoin in general.

I'm interested in Bitcoin because I wanted to mine it, gain it through faucets and then gamble with it. With some luck I could sell for cash if I hit big.

Does anyone know of any Bitcoin casinos that are trustworthy? I would imagine that this community likes to keep track of sites that are legit and gives caution of scammers.

peace//

Do a research on Bitcointalk before playing, there are only few  I trust. (Primedice,Betking,MoneyPot,Bitsler & Bustabit).
We have a list of known bitcoin scam sites https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326821.0
You can play at betcoin.ag as well. It's not only dice is the game here, we also have sports betting which if fun too in my own opinion. The more games you play the more you are entertain so do no limit yourself as long as you play in a reputable gambling sites.
7692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On US Elections... on: November 09, 2016, 01:54:41 AM
I will bet to Hilary Clinton Cool

Placed $9000 H. Clinton to win... Cool
Wow you have the heart of a gambler, putting so much money behind any bet is incredible, by the way could you tell us what odds did you take on the bet since the odds right now don't seem so good to make such a huge bet.
I guess you are placing for the favorites dude, and I see in one hash, the odds for Clinton is 1.20+ something so probably you will win on your bet. However, I see more value for trump as actually I do not bet more often on the favorites, I believe trump has a fight for the election.

Whatever the outcome, I hope you win and people of the USA will rejoice if the right candidate will win.
7693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thank you BitStarz.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: November 09, 2016, 01:36:33 AM

You can send me a PM and I am willing to listen on your success.
7694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 08, 2016, 03:04:17 AM
Bitcoin will likely help a particular person, not the whole country.
This is correct only individual can help by the bitcoin but country it self it can't. Bitcoin has requirement that not all poor people can afford.
If all people can afford gadgets to access bitcoin i think all people will be rich someday by the help of bitcoin.
Yes it can help a person, but not specifically a poor person because the amount you will earn online is only enough to become a side income. For it to solve a people without money the bitcoin needed to be earn must be sufficient and equal to a regular income. Well at present there is no way for you to have that big of amount as faucets won't give you enough to make a living  only signature campaigns can actually give fair rates.
You do not see the entire benefit of bitcoin as you only consider it as a side income for the poor, it's more than that actually since we cannot let them all work to have side income. There is something that they will benefit and that is not to maximize their income but to minimize their expenses.

It's all about remittance worldwide. We do not need bank but we do banking here.
7695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: November 08, 2016, 03:00:38 AM
Danger of cryptocurrency is their decentralized nature that makes the coin against government's policy. And due to its anonymity it makes them more useable in illegal activities. Also government could ban anytime and the biggest fear is the price keeps fluctuating and if price drops downs and never rise up then it's a huge loss.
Perhaps the time will come when some governments recognize bitcoin and users will not be limited in scope, and it will no longer think about the dangers of using cryptocurrency.

That's a fine line because governments can change the laws in one seconds and ban again after making it legal. And we have a lot of cryptocurrencies, if it's hard to bitcoin, can you imagine the issue with any other altcoin?
Since the begining several media and news tryed to kill bitcoin, before it becames the sucess it had turned into, nowadays anything against bitcoin will result into some massive attack online against those countrie, i do mean complains not a real attack, crypto world has its space trying to kill it or hiden wont work anymore.
basically everything has a bad side , if you want to discuss it be my guess
but there is more advantage rather than a "dangerous" thing caused by using bitcoin
be positive and you will see a lot of things positive and vice versa
those people who think there a lot of dangerous things use bitcoin , must be new and just know bitcoin , there is nothing to worry about.
Correct much better to look on its advantages that tackled the dangerous or disadvantaged of bitcoin.
most of the users hate the people who are giving bad prediction on bitcoin future.
if we continuous believing that bitcoin would have brighter future i think it can help to make bitcoin much stronger.
I actually wanna see any opinion of a person may it be bad or good as long as he has a basis, it's hard to be positive without know the danger. We should understand that bitcoin has it's risk by considering is as a business and a responsible investor should know all the risk not just the rewards.
7696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 08, 2016, 02:57:00 AM
Yes they are, and that's probably what makes a portion of its value. That's good that such people use Bitcoin. At least they make the value climb.
Currently too much use of bitcoin in illegal activities is worrying for me as I read some time ago few peoples take ransom in bitcoins after kidnapings in few countries this can hurt us badly
yeah agree I think the media exposure of illegal activities that will make bitcoin name to be ugly, but how else? a user is free to use bitcoin for anything right ? and we will not be able to intervene much less prohibit users to use bitcoin. I think this will continue to happen
Correct all users have freedom to spend or to used their bitcoin whatever they want if this would be illegal or not we can not stop them because also we do not know where the people who transact illegally since we do not have device to track them.
And because we have all the freedom we can use our bitcoins in illegal activities, it's actually depends on a certain person as there are people who are responsible enough although they have the capacity to use it but they are protecting their self for future lawsuits and the good image of bitcoin.
7697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: November 08, 2016, 02:54:07 AM
Now I know that bitcoin doesn't have tax but Transaction does..
Where do these Tax go?Government? And what kind of tax is it??

The transaction "tax" you are reffering to isnt really a tax. Its a fee that goes towards paying the miners for confirming your transaction. I would not really consider it a tax, more like a payment to keep bitcoin secure.
Lol yeah I think it is a transaction fee. you will always get a fee when you send bitcoin wherever, usually your bitcoin will cut about 0.0001 BTC for transaction fees. You need it so that your transaction can be confirmed and it is not a tax dude
tax fee will be different, and I think the tax cannot be implemented to bitcoin
Correct there is no tax in bitcoin it is only transaction fees that is why we do not like to be government regulated the bitcoin because if that will happen tax will be imposed in bitcoin that is not good to us.
That's why I am proud to use bitcoin because it can help the adopters to transact with a small amount of fee and if we earn here we are not tax with our income. Pretty easy and very helpful for us this platform.

If bitcoin will be tax, I guess there's no excitement anymore, people will leave for sure.
7698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: November 08, 2016, 02:45:54 AM
Very often what is buried bitcoin. Not to understand who benefits and why it is done. In general, more than once could be heard as the bitcoin called great pyramid which still fall sooner or later.
Are you sure about that? What is you basis? If you do not trust bitcoin then you are free to do so as we are living in the crypto world where we have all the freedom what we want.

What I see is different from your view, I believe will be the future of digital currency, so by saying that it's not dead but 100% alive.
7699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: November 07, 2016, 03:44:56 AM
I do not play dice every day  only one time tried dice and then on the second day but after that for longer time I never gone to any dice site for to play dice so I do not play it daily and maybe in the future I once again go to play there again.

Usually I don't play dice every day either. But as long as I have spare time and I need to kill my time then that is the right time to visit a dice site to play some good amount of profit. And sometimes I win great profit and sometimes I won't and it depends on my mood on how much I will start dicing for each day that I play.
I would say, dice is a very entertaining game but you do not need to play it all the time as it will be boring for you when you will lose. The chance of losing is really big due to the house edge of the game, therefore if you want to continue having fun, better control yourself and play it the way it should be.
7700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 07, 2016, 03:41:39 AM
How can anyone even discuss to allow children to play gambling games. Gambling, even for many adults is too dangerous .. It is just absurd!

Well there are a lot of bitcoin users here who are addicted gamblers and hence the thread exists. Even some of them are under18 and they can still gamble because their identity is anonymous in the internet and that their parents are not supervising their internet activity.
More under 18 age are gambling on bitcoin even its illegal in my country to gamble hehe,im sure government on my country will not surf all gambling sites and even they block that gambling sites there still mamy who can access by using other IP network bypass and anonymously using bitcoins.

Here in my country they don't care if they are going to gamble regardless if it is with bitcoin or not. Because you can just find some basketball games with bet.

And the teams that are fighting for it are the so called 'kids division' and that is starting the mind of those kids that gamble is fine.

I'm really against this type of game plays that it is associated with betting.
That situation is not so serious when you relate it to gambling, it's just normal in every sport that you have to put bets to put your best effort to win. It's not similar with sports betting in the internet where you can gamble all you want even in a daily basis.

Kids should not learn sports betting as it's big boy's game.
