It sounds a bit like this: I created the Bitcointalk Stats Live Counter. I recall discussing at some point what the definition of Active is, and it varies between implementations. For example, BPIP considers Active those profiles that have logged-in over the last three months. Others may focus on the total of online members (as does the link above). Some variants consider that the profile has to have posted within a given timeframe.

Actually, even if those on the list have been very quick to earn a large sum of merits, that is not the norm, and although it could serve as a reference of some sort, it’s a distant one for the most. Simply put, you need your posts to be of some interest, and in order to do that, normally one will need to spare some valuable time in the event, often needing to read prior information or base on one’s experience to sustain the comments. In the process, stay clearly away from performing copy/[spin]/paste type actions, which normally lead to a ban at some point in time.

<…> Also, I want to seek some help where I can get stats of the bitcointalk? To use on my project.
What kind of statistics did you have in mind? Besides the natively provided forum stats, there are some forum members that have got a bunch of external sites running that provide some information that is not derivable from the official stats. For example, there are these threads that summarise some of them: List of Bitcointalk stats (Un)official pages that store forum data Bear in mind that external traffic stats derived from sites such as Alexa are bound to be partial, and that even the forum’s stats need to be handled with care (i.e. ideally, you need to know the time period behind a given ratio or indicator).

Going that far ahead of time, it’s certainly likely that a large portion of payments will be made through some sort of cryptocurrency, be it Central Bank based or else. Nevertheless, being a technologically centered solution, the countries will need to consider the solution for those that don't have access to the reigning technology at the time, nor the embedded technological culture that it requires. What would worry me most, in any case, is a dependency on a technological based element for basic transactions in times of dire need (i.e. war). Country blackouts/telecom blackouts would be one of those situations.

I’m not totally bought on the fingerprint reader feature – I’ve got a couple of devices protected with readers of a kind, and every now and then I need to perform a rescan since they stop recognizing my fingerprint flawlessly. Additionally if the device implements passphrases, I wonder if different fingers will give access to different sets of accounts. On top of that, I’m pretty certain it’s easier to retrieve a fingerprint, than a pin code from someone’s memory.
In any case, the device does have the couple of buttons, so perhaps the fingerprint reader is optional in terms of usage, and the buttons will probably provide access to the different passphrase protected sets of accounts.

Determining whether it’s easy or not to rank-up is a subjective matter, but objectively it stills doesn’t seem like a simple thing to achieve, be it for whatever set of underlying reasons. This is a summary of the accounts, created in 2017, that have been merited at some point, and have ranked-up at least one level: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FGtC4ETr.png&t=664&c=IxdcgZfm-bJrmg) Theoretically, all those accounts have had the time to rank-up to Legendary (perhaps the trailing December 2017 created accounts still need another cycle in the worst case scenario). The numbers indicate that only 0,74% of those accounts have made it to Legendary, and 0,95% to Hero Member. Seems a pretty small subset of those 2017 created and merited accounts (I don' track unmerited ones). Now, of course, there are many factors that play here: available time, stamina, expressiveness, the treated topics, novelty, and so forth, so we can’t really distinguish in the numbers those accounts really made the effort from those that didn’t, but even so, from an objective point of view, the numbers seem smallish to me, and don’t stand behind a need to increase rank difficulty.

The case you’ve been posting about seems to have been going on for a couple of months now, which is certainly unfortunate, but whether it is a particular situation, or a recurring one for more people, is something that seems unclear. There are many scam accusations exposed here. Some get merited, some don’t. It depends on many factors (evidence provided, clearness of event depiction, scope of affected users, etc.). Other than that, read through all the above provided links to get a picture of what sort of post gets merited, or simply browse around and observe it as you go.

No sé si ya has probado éstos pasos.

Sometimes, it doesn’t hurt to see how other Newbies that have ranked-up have been posting, not to copy or clone their style, but to understand what sort of posting leads to a smother ranking experience. The "easy" part of this thread’s heading is overly exaggerated for most, as ranking-up is not that easy, specially for the mid-to-top ranks. Here's the lists of the top merited 100 accounts created this year, that have ranked up at some point. Mind you, the top few cases are outliers. If you consider that just over a merit per day is a good average to try to keep in order to make your ranking process be seamless all the way to the top (in relation to Activity), there are not that many 2020 accounts that seemingly are on that path: user_id name posts activity merit rank DateCreate url 2744352 bullrun2020bro 1453 294 1171 Sr. Member 2020-01-09
