Why haven't we burned more longs on leverage on Finex? The credit bubble there didn't seem to care at all about the crash the other day! Why is the market so stable?
the crash might of been a few long closing but at the same time people are opening new longs... the " credit bubble " isn't going anywhere. it will only get bigger, much bigger. So you're saying that it isn't a problem? Could it become a problem when there's a really big crash cascading down the longs? Or some other incident? a long squeeze is an excellent time to place a long. ironic?

What the heck! Can somebody explain like I'm 5 why Stamp is moving the exact opposite direction than China?
It's not moving in the opposite direction, but it's following China. There's a delay and it looks different on a small scale. It looks totally different! Not like China at all! Bitstamp is bouncing around at $580-$582 and China already took off few meters... i think most of the arbitrage happens with bitfenix, which is currently lagging but moving in the right direction. Yeah, Finex is at least following China a bit. But I still don't see any significant movement, to be honest... Hasn't Finex stopped arbitraging with Stamp? ya they only do USD/CNY arb. and let the free market do the Stamps/Finex arb. Yeah, let the free market do that, I guess. I think it's not that profitable anyways for the regular trader. Guess it's more a gamble than actual arbitrage highly sophisticated systematic gambling, i'm sure they have a few tricks / number crunching to make it less of a gamble and more like scalping volatility across exchanges

there is no use denying it any longer, bitcoin is not going to have anymore to the moon rises, buyers are going to get burnt, real hard, eventually bitcoin's inevitable doom will become clear to everyone, and price will go to <10$ soon after, such pain, much hate, BUT THEN! the government will bail us out and we will be rich! muahaha muahaha, no wait that only works for real stocks and stuff. damn, without a government bail out, its hopeless

I've contacted two about accepting Bitcoin and AHI Distribution is the first to get back to me. This is what they said: We have not until it proves itself. Thanks So basically, Bitcoin has "proved itself" well enough for Dell, Linkshare and NewEgg but not for AHI Distribution. How do you answer something like that?its not a question so there's nothing to answer. i guess you could tell them that they there is literally 0 risk to them, should they choose to use bitpay or coinbase, but sounds like they have made up their mind, they won't consider adding bitcoin payments until bitcoin payments are accepted everywhere, because sheep will be sheep. i saw forget them, maybe the other business you contacted will be more opened minded and willing to listen. how are you pitching this anyway?

Has this last drop squeezed any longs for now? How low do you think it should go that we could say longs are properly squeezed?
must be impossible to say, its not like everyone opened a long at 400 all at once. old longs might be covering, but at the same time new longs are opening.

Well, it is flat-lining the mining difficulty. So I think we have hit the equilibrium where bitcoin price=power to mine.
is that good, bad or indifferent? indifferent because price dictates mining power not the other way around. and besides, this is pure speculation, diff. has been and will probably continues to rise. thats what i see anyway.

SR users sold me some coins in a panic. SR2.0 users bought my coins in a panic.
a hole group left and came back, this is a very unique event and probably won't happen again.
but thats not to say a good drop can't snap back and go higher for other reasons.
and i do not believe this is what cause the bubble, they gave is a good kick start is all.
the bubble happened when it was becoming more clear the US gov wasn't going to try to kill it.
