7701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I get rid of dust in my wallet? on: February 19, 2015, 12:39:03 PM
Can someone explain in detail, how I can get rid of all this, with the least amount of increased transaction fees?
Load the private keys into a wallet that allows you coin control, and create transactions that bind a single large output with a few small outputs.  Wait of the transaction to receive enough confirmations. Repeat.

How quickly you can repeat the process will depend on the size of your large output.  Assuming that you have a single 1 BTC output, you might be able to repeat the process ever 12 hours or so if you are lucky.  Each transaction can combine about 5 outputs together without a fee.
I see in this older thread you were considering writing a program to do this. Are you still game, or has somebody else written one by now?
why do you need a program for this? you can easily use blockchain.info as OP says he is using and send all your btc to a new address which will get rid of the dust for you and also creates an address with a single input
7702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallet asking for my I.D/Passport on: February 19, 2015, 12:35:17 PM
It's an @coinbase.com address, it seems is not phishing at least.

Do you know that sending addresses can be faked too, right?

Err.... Is this true? Can the sending addresses be faked? I'll be in big trouble. I have always trusted the emails coming from by official Bank email.  Huh
there is an official email for example something like "support[at]coinbase.com" this cannot be fake the fake Email would be like this" "support@[similar fake address like coinbase].com" like coiinbase
7703  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sell Bitcoins for paypal? on: February 19, 2015, 12:32:33 PM
paypal reversable payment  Huh

If you deal with untrusted websites or users, the transaction can be reversed as well. That is why PayPal transactions take place less here  due to the charge backs.
although it is risky but you can always use paypal ONLY with someone trustworthy maybe someone in forum who has a good reputation otherwise it is better you choose some other way

7706  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "Trolls" are the most valuable asset on btctalk on: February 19, 2015, 06:14:54 AM
Newbees need to know:

In 98% of cases a person on here is called 'a troll' or being accused of spreading 'FUD' that person is actually right.

Just to share my experience with you.
On this board everyone is full of shit and the scammers are the most friendly and most 'official' ones. We have seen this time and time again.

Don't fall for the scammers and to-the-moon-pumpers.
here is filled with scammers rather than trolls. you can laugh at the troll person but the scammer always scams and makes you mad

7709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to sell bitcoins for USD on: February 19, 2015, 05:37:43 AM
I have the Bitcoin client and I have bitcoins in a wallet. All I want to do is sell these bitcoins for US dollars. It seems like an impossibility at this point. FastCash4Bitcoins looked promising except that I could never catch them when they had funds available and now their website has simply disappeared. I joined Coinbase and got my bank account verified but now I cannot find out how to transfer the bitcoins to my Coinbase account in order to sell them. This information is not on the site and they have not responded to my email message. Someone mentioned Dwolla but their help section has absolutely nothing about bitcoins.

So if someone here could inform me of someplace where I can sell my bitcoins for US dollars it would be much appreciated.

Thanks
if you are in the US i recommend using coinbase also localbitcoins.com is a good place to sell to USD
remember when selling to a person on forum or like that use escrow and trade with someone who is trusted since BTC payment is irreversible and USD can be reversible

7711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STAHP USING ONLINE EXCHANGES/WALLETS on: February 17, 2015, 10:20:09 AM
them what is your solution for people who are trading with bitcoin on exchangers! if they stop their day to day trading and start selling price will be 50$

You don't get the point, exchanges are used for trading, not storage, if you plan on holding them long term you don't let them sit there on an exchange even if it's only for a week, you're just asking for trouble if it's a large amount, the problem here is there are people genuinely using these places as storage areas and they end up getting themselves screwed over for it and then come bitching here about it all the fucking time.
but its not like you are going to be warned off if the exchanger is going to be rubbed or something. if it is dangerous to put bitcoin or any currency in an exchanger it doesn't matter for 1 minute or 1 month. the exchanger can be hacked the minute you deposit
7712  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 3x return in 72 hours maximum on: February 16, 2015, 12:46:11 PM
Looking for small investments between 0.1 and 0.6 BTC which will be repaid within 72 hours at 3x the original price. I've tripled the money of plenty of investors and I'm guaranteed to be the best at getting you the best returns.
what is your guarantee?
just saying "I've tripled the money of plenty of investors" is not convincing enough since your account is pretty new with negative feedback
7713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, How Long Will It Last? on: February 16, 2015, 12:39:32 PM
How Long Will Bitcoin Endure?

How long?
How long can it hold its price?
How long can it stand its value?
Is the end near?
Or will it just be remembered in the statue?

It will last till 2140 when all the coins are mined then probably die , we can't see that tho , since we will be all dead by then
i am sure by then there will be powerful machines to mine bitcoin easily no matter the difficulty.
7714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are your main sources of Bitocin/Crypto news? on: February 16, 2015, 12:30:09 PM

Currently I have waited 3 hour Undecided
none of my "fee included" transactions ever take me more than minutes to confirm. the longest i had to wait for 1 confirmation is something less than an hour

7720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Core Total Size? on: February 15, 2015, 05:16:39 PM
What is the total size of BTC core, because its very slow to download
if you have problem downloading the blockchain, you can download the bootstrap torrent file from bitcoin.org
here is the link: https://bitcoin.org/en/download at the bottom of the page
