If someone doesn't like the odds on one team then it doesn't mean that he should bet on the loosing team. Bangladesh have scored a defendable total of 288 runs. I think NZ will chase it down. first of all, it is too risky to bet for NZ with small odds, you bet alot with the risk to lose it all and if you win, you will nly win small amount of it, and second is, Bangladesh got slim chance to win, although the odds are far greater, their chance to is a consideration to stay away from them because NZ wont let this match go as a lose for them Well yes the odds are still low , they are just 1.23 on NZ. However if someone us willing to take the risk then I guess he should bet on Bangladesh. They have fine bowling attack and the total isn't too bad. The first five overs will decide who wins. current odds is 1.46 for NZ and 2.8 for Bangladesh, it seems that it is too late to put up for Bangladesh since the odds is decreasing by alot, on the other than, betting for NZ could be profitable now since the odds almost reach half of the bet, still the outcome of the match is pretty blur atm |

IMO, in the crypto community, the best way to run a poker site is freeroll. And it needs lots of time to be a big poker house, maybe half a year or longer.
Why? As I said, if a poker site is only attracting freerollers, they will never make any money. For a site to survive, let alone thrive, they need to attract real money players who are willing to deposit and spend time playing games that the site can rake. If the site is, at best, raking their own money back they will shutter in months. It's happened time after time after time. When a site is only catering to freerollers, what do you think happens when people who are willing to deposit come in and take a look around? They see the bad software (which 95% of the users don't care about because they are playing for fun), they see nobody playing for anything other than freeroll stakes, and they leave. There isn't even an incentive for them to stick around and try to game start because all of the marketing capital is spent running freerolls. Exactly my point, Freerolls can be really profitable for the players for they don't have anything to lose but if a Site has only players who are interested in playing Freerolls than sooner or later it will go bankrupt. Which is why I said that a site should only allow freerolls to players who are active and participate in ring games too. And Poker sites especially don't have that much profit margin like dice or other gambling sites do because players are not playing against the site but with each other. thank you all for all your inputs.
i have nothing against freeloaders but, as a poker player i hate to see websites getting shut down just because there are no cash game players. we all need to take into consideration that the website needs to make some profit otherwise it will just shut down, sooner or later.
Yup, A poker site can't only survive on freeloaders, they need genuine players who are interested in playing poker and are not their just to get the freebies. not all poker players are freeloaders for freerolls, most might be a freeloader but not all, and also the freerolls can be considered as an advertising to try out a site, higher prize pool will attract a lot more players for the free rolls, this can actually be countered by making minimum wagering before entering a free rolls tournament |

Well, I think were getting close to a conclusion. Hopefully we can get paid. I will be satisfied even I get 50 % cut. This doesnt mean , I approve Chris's attitude along the 3 months. I just want my initial money back at least. The last bit is the same on this side. I'd like to get my investment back, anything after that i kind of a bonus. I don't plan to introduce BTC again. Last time it really got out of hand. I don't want to be holding huge amounts of value for other people. It's scary. I said recently in the chat that I won't be opening for BTC again. That's overstating it since I'm not certain about that, but it's probably true. So why was this reopened with CLAM? Why wasn't the reopening announced? Why add only CLAM and not BTC?
CLAM is cheap, and widely distributed. It's easy to get hold of, and many people already have it. BTC is expensive and an easy target for thieves. I didn't announce the reopening because I wanted a small, self-selected crowd to test it. There have been a small but loyal bunch of people hanging around the site ever since it shut down. It makes sense that they would be the most tolerant of the frequent restarts and even bugs that were likely to be part and parcel of the switch over to CLAM. Does the site shut down again if a CLAM/USD exchange opens up?
No. from the quote above it seems that dooglus got no intention to use BTC back, i might be wrong, but aslong as CLAMS are doing fine, it seems like the site will keep on using CLAMS, that 5% odds isnt something from dooglus i guess |

NZ has more than 90% chance to win there but in my point of view that match is much risky to bet, if that is not fixed yet than only NZ will win that. Rather than being fixes it could be more of a strategy for NZ to loose. But as a team they wouldn't like to loose. It will just bring much more criticism. At the end it is also a question of rank, because a newbie doesn't know all the forum yet and he may be in difficult to moderate it (that's obvious). People like full member and above have a high chance respect the other low ranks (this is only a personal opinion).
im against this issue with the rank, some people are not an active poster, he could be just a silentreader, therefore his rank maybe lower than an active poster, what matter the most is the knowledge of the forum rules and the respect to the other member ( this is also my personal opinion ) |

I've been putting up with their sorry excuse of a company and strategies they've been imposing on me

job when I brought traffic and activity to their site single-handedly.
Ultimately, Gebbit is just a sorry excuse of a scam waiting to happen.
