Today's game Dallas +5 vs Nuggets -5

The Dallas Mavericks still have to figure out how to win and against the top team in the NBA, I think they will have some trouble here.
Denver has not covering it's previous games when playing on the road, their last 3 road games resulted to a loss but I'll go with the trend this time, the line was up 1 point and I'll consider that as a good indicator.

Pick :   Nuggets -5

Oh, I'll have to sit this one out, I only just got to see this. However, Good luck everyone who were able to place a bet!
7722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 22, 2019, 08:25:11 PM
Prediction: West Ham 2 - 1 Fulham
Just 3 minutes in the game and Fulham already scored a goal which makes a huge pressure on West Ham that was supposed to have a relatively easy win!

Easy win ? I wasn't expecting an easy win from a team that is hasn't won any of its last fuve matches, I was only expecting at least 2 goals from the fixture, which I think should be feasible considering the early goal lead to Fulham.

FFS

I put West Ham to win in our bitcointalk pool sponsored by Cloudbet. Hopefully West Ham can sort their shit out.
Keep your fingers crossed, West Ham have overturned the scoreline, and should secure this win now.
7723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 22, 2019, 07:19:49 PM
We've got 2 Friday night EPL matches with Cardiff vs Watford and West Ham vs Fulham, both Cardiff and Fulham are battling with relegation, while West Ham and Watford on the other hand are both withing the top 10.

West Ham vs Fulham seem to be an unpredictable match, for me at least. West Ham on 10th position on the EPL table haven't won any of their last 5 five matches, while Fulham in 19th position have won only one from their last seven matches. However, only on one occasion have there been less than 2 goals in the aforementioned matches. So, I expect at least 2 goals in this match.

Prediction: West Ham 2 - 1 Fulham

Wow...  So does that mean Hazard's not going anywhere?  What's gonna happen?  Are loan moves not allowed too?

And Sarri.  I guess he's staying.  Lmao.  No manager will ever want to be at Chelsea right now.  Grin

Damn Chelsea's board should be giving their core squad some hefty contracts soon.

That's a big blow to the club, What a situation to be stuck with!
I think this might be a blessing a in disguise because I'd expect the club who has a number of talented young players out on loan opt to make the most out of these players.

I think Chelsea can also still make an appeal via Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) If they could be allowed to make signing for the upcoming window while they will serve their ban for the next two consecutive windows after that, similar to what happened to Atletico Madrid, if i'm not mistaking.
7725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: February 22, 2019, 06:49:00 PM
There you go :

Chelsea - Dynamo Kiev
Eintracht Francfort - Inter Milan
Dinamo Zagreb - Benfica
Naples - RB Salzbourg
Valence CF - FC Krasnodar
Séville FC - Slavia Prague
Arsenal - Rennes
Zenith SP - Villarreal

Great draw, this will mean it will get a lot tougher after this round because no big teams are facing each other yet, Perhaps, we could see one or two upset where underdogs will advance to next phase at the expense of big teams. The match I'll look forward to mostly would be Napoli vs RB Salzburg.

My prediction on teams to qualify to the next round
Chelsea
Eintracht Francfort
Benfica
Naples
Valence CF
Séville FC
Arsenal
Zenith SP

and the rockets loss!!! james harden fouled out, chris paul fouled out..
Man, we got robbed in the 4th.
The fix was in. 😠😢😢😢

Lol, the loss was a hard one to take for me too man! but what do we do ? We move on and try again.
I was pretty expected a difficult 4th quarter, but that was way far from my expectations, but it is what it is.

I'm looking at going on for Orlando Magic vs Chicago Bulls match tomorrow but, I'm still contemplating on the point spread.
7727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 22, 2019, 05:29:15 AM
They were up double digit once and they are controlling the tempo.
We will see in the 2nd half if the Lakers can lead but I'm always okay with a 4 points lead in the end because it's my
only way to win, I got -3.5 for better odds.

It is going be tensed 4th quarter, I think. Lakers are gained momentum back late in the 3rd quarter, The Rockets were on a double digits lead for most part of the 3rd quarter and had up to 19 points at time, but we are heading into the 4th quarter with a 7 points difference with 83 - 90, fingers crossed.
7728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: February 21, 2019, 10:33:45 PM
Not many surprising results in this round. Only few results looks unexpected - Bayer eliminated by Krasnodar and Slavia Prague reached big away win against Genk. As expected Arsenal won easily at home. I'm a bit sad for Betis who lost at home and got eliminated by Rennes 6:4 on aggregate. But Rennes were better in this pair and deserved to go further.
On Friday Round of 16 draw will be made.

I quite disappointed with Real Betis being eliminated, I was expecting a lot more from them, After a dramatic 3 - 3 come back last week at france, Other fixture were quite as expected other than Bayer Leverkusen..

what are your predictions for the draws ?
7729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: February 21, 2019, 07:48:23 PM
It's going to be an interesting recap for the Europa league let alone the next draws  Grin
Big dogs who are on the brink of making  it through so far

- Arsenal
- Napoli
- Valencia

Still few minutes to go to confirm Valencia though. Celtic may find a goal

That'd be of no apparent use, perhaps a consolation goal, because the failed to score at home in the first leg too.

With Villarreal's equalizing goal vs Sporting lisbon there's a big chance they might make it through, except Sporting could find another goal, that would have Villarreal eliminated with away goal rule.
7730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: February 21, 2019, 07:13:44 PM

1-0 Arsenal in early stage of the game but BATE is playing very well and was unlucky to score
Goal for Arsenal was sustain it was defender huge mistake

Another goal for Arsenal which makes 2 - 0 for them. Shkodran header into the left corner and the keeper had no chance to react. 2 more to score for Arsenal 😋

Few minutes to whistle for the first half.

I think obviously Arsenal will advance to the next phase, I had no idea why they slumped at Belarus in the first leg, Valencia is also still leading on aggregate by 2 - 0, current score is still 0 - 0 after 60 minutes.
7731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 20, 2019, 11:31:30 PM
2-3 win for Man City with one man down, yeah, if you can't beat a 10-man Manchester City, it's very unlikely that you'll beat them at their stadium with the entire starting XI. Good run, Shalke 04, you did your best.

I want to see how Juventus will try to overcome this.
Fun fact (i'm on fire with 'fun facts' today): Juventus haven't been able to comeback from a 2-0 loss in european competitions, ever.

Awful game for Juve tonight, Dybala and Pjanic, their main playmakers, were absolutely terrible, Bernardeschi did a lot more in 10 min than Dybala in 80 min. 2nd leg will be really exciting, I wouldn't discard Juventus just yet.

Exactly my view, Juventus are not a high scoring team and, Atletico Madrid are not a high conceding team, I highly doubt there will be a comeback in which Juventus will qualify, but anything can still happen in the 2nd leg at the Turin, and Ronaldo's tie winning mentality will duly be needed if that's ever going to be the case.
7732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 20, 2019, 10:18:31 PM
I thought they were either going to lose or draw this game as I watching the odds for machester city when they scored their second goal to tie it. Their odds to win were 5.50x with only 4 minutes left in regulation.
It was the most exciting match today as the other ones were 2 goals each.

I saw the odds at I think 61+ around 83 minutes and I got tempted really, I just found it illogical due to the fact that they were a man down, I was expecting them to try to close out the match without conceding any goal more, I'd confidently say Man City are through to the quarter finals already, and this could be their year, Archive this post!!!

That was a good prediction on the first half alone for the Juventus match.
They couldnt even score a goal and ended in a 2 to nil game for the host Atletico madrid.
Yeah right, I had expected a fixture shy of goals, and both goals had to come with around 13 minutes left on the clock, Now I'm looking forward to the 2nd leg of this fixture, I want to see how Juventus will try to overcome this.
7733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 20, 2019, 05:49:07 PM
I believe that NBA is fixed so this league purely provide entertainment rather than a real game.
If we want to see a real game, we should watch games in Olympics but since NBA is controlled by a group of people
that has the agenda to sell their business, fixed games always happens.

They will market players who are popular and give them favors on calls, this way they will grow and business will progress.
I believe also that they have a share from big sports book so they have a reason to manipulate games.

Olympics isn't really any different, and I don't think there's any sporting event in the world that has not, isn't and cannot be manipulated, There's just a different approach and level of manipulation that can be exercised in these games.
7734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: February 20, 2019, 05:35:15 PM
Bump this thread since europa league will begin again today but unfortunately i could not bets for different match because today only match Sevilla vs Lazio will available and as the most successful team in europa league i will consider Sevilla is slightly strong compared to their opponent especially today they will playing as host team which mean Sevilla have good chance to win and my pick for this match is Sevilla ML with the odds @1.88

Wow! I had no idea the Sevilla vs Lazio was scheduled for today, I supposed all Europa League's fixtures are meant to be for tomorrow, That means I'd have to miss out on it as well. I think Sevilla playing at home should be an advantage and I'd expect them to advance to the stage.

Sevilla are 1 - 0 up on the evening, and 2 - 0 on aggregate, This is becoming a one sided affair.
7735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 20, 2019, 04:59:33 PM
Sure the last both games ended on a disappointing note as they both ended goalless but it wasn't that boring to watch if you ask me. I enjoyed Lyon vs barca most especially and as for tonight game I see a narrow win for juventus, scoreline A.madrid 1 - 2 Juventus with CR7 scoring 1 or assisting 1.

It wasn't boring, Matches were such amount (24) of goal attempts get recorded usually should end with at least 3 goals, If you consider how clinical both teams can be in front of goal, It was more of a surprise.

I'm not sure I'd expect Juventus vs Atletico Madrid to be a high scoring fixture, I'd gladly grab an under 1.5 in the first half If should place a bet on the fixture. My prediction would be 1 nil win in favor of Juventus.
7736  Economy / Economics / Re: Craig Wright is once again claiming he's Satoshi on: February 20, 2019, 11:53:14 AM
Anyone from the early days of Bitcoin can claim yo be Satoshi,  Craig wright has been proven several times to be a pathetic liar and he's actions opposes everything Bitcoin or Satoshi would have ever stood for. So there's no point paying attention to his tricks... All that's is required a signed message which I'm certain Craig Wright would have provided without second thought, If he indeed he's Satoshi, because he's that hungry for attention.
7737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 19, 2019, 09:03:42 PM
Kick off
Both Lyon vs Barcelona and Liverpool vs Byern are 0 - 0 after 15 minutes.
Liverpool needs to have more control in ball handling.

It's halftime already with neither of the four teams being able to find the back of the net, what do you think would happen in 2nd half ?

I think we might get a couple of goals in the Barca vs Lyon match, both team have had their own fair chances I'd stick with my prediction that Barca will win  0 - 2, While I think Liverpool vs Bayern could eventually end goalless.
7738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nitrogen Sports is proud to offer "high odds" and high limits? on: February 19, 2019, 05:06:15 AM
This is like complaining that they don't give you 1.92 odds for a full Manchester City squad to beat Huddersfield in the EPL (top team vs bottom team), which is very reasonable as the chance is not 50%..

Exactly my view when OP almost had me crucified for taking Over 310.5 @ 1.63

why are the Odds there ?
Isn't it about the likelihood of event to occur ?!

No, it's not.

He also suggested that odds doesn't connote the likelihood of an event to or not occur, I found ideology very wrong, I guess I just couldn't explain or point it out in-depth like you just did.
7739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 19, 2019, 04:53:55 AM
Anyone with some plays for when the NBA resumes on THURSDAY?
I see MIL and GSW at home being possible options depending on the point spreads but both play well at home.

I'm looking forward to the OP's pick on this tho, I think both the 76ers and Rockets matches caught my attention more but as you've said, I'm looking forward to what the points spread will be available at.
7740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 19, 2019, 03:39:49 AM
The game today, another pathetic performance from Chelsea, but let's talk about Sarri, the guy made 3 subs, and none of them were to change the strategy, system, or tactics, just replacing a player for another that plays in the same position, no plan b whatsoever, Willian for Pedro, Barkley for Kovacic, and Zappacosta for Azpilicueta...just wtf is Zappacosta gonna do in the last 10 min of the game? what kind of sub is that? Just bring Hudon-odoi or Giroud onto the pitch and go for an all-out attack, you're losing 0-2 anyways...All in all, #SarriOut

What happened to Sarriball ? I think he just needs some more time, about his substitutions, only a few managers like Guardiola would made a complex or tactical changes due to enough available options.

Quote
“Barcelona were predictable but they won" was Maurizio Sarri's defence when recently quizzed on why he never makes changes to his starting line-up.
