7741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Bans Its Largest Fiat Currency Notes on: November 14, 2016, 07:00:11 AM
do you guy think this can lead to an increase of adoption for bitcoin, since to do black market now they need somethign else, because with cash it will be more difficult for them to do it, there might be a chance for them to use bitcoin more, thus the price will increase because of more buyers from india

This is a great opportunity for Bitcoin. But the problem is that very few people are aware of it in India. However, the other online payment applications are exploiting this opportunity to capture market share. During the past few days, hundreds of thousands of merchants have started accepting payments through PayTM, a mobile payment platform.

I think and hoping they will be buying or parking their money on bitcoin. Or they can have business and let their money help the economy and provide jobs to the deserving ones.
It's too far for think if they have put his money on bitcoin? It is just about pulling back his large currency notes. It can make non-sense for me.
7742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: November 14, 2016, 06:53:28 AM
Just the idea that someone would risk jail time for a payment system is kind of looney. If the government said you would get five years in a federal prison (no parole) would you risk using PayPal? ApplePay? M-Pesa? Google Wallet? WePay? Braintree? Skrill? I understand they are different from Bitcoin but they are still just value transfer systems.

You're all making Bitcoin sound more like a sinister cult than a Peer-To-Peer Electronic Cash System.

Exactly, But still this is not impossible yet this idea is too imaginative as well. If we are going to really think of what is currently hapenning right now then this idea really do sounds like a sinister cult
This an idea, and it wasn't getting a chance at this time.
However, We must have thought at that if that was going to happen.
Still feeling comfort with the bitcoin, Although it was imagining by others that so terrible.
7743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VOTE: Top Cryptocurrency of the Month: NOVEMBER, 2016 on: November 14, 2016, 02:35:36 AM
ICN slowly but surely gaining a lot of momentum these past few days. I believe price may double this coming December.
It depends on the development of the team, remembers, what the team did at the first ico have launched. But what's makes you feeling gratefully with icn in December?
Iconomi performance will launch on Friday. Just a little, and it has become the opposite thing of his ico result.
7744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOOKING TO START NEW COIN on: November 14, 2016, 01:50:33 AM
Hi,

Im from Kingwood Texas and I'm looking start a new coin that is going to be worth LOTS of money!

Anyone want to get in on this great opportunity?

john

Nope. I do not.

Noob account with 0 details saying he's going to make a new coin when he says in another thread that he's already "made millions in ICOs".

So which coins did you make millions off of?

Nothing but BS without thick details.

I've made millions in ICOs
Confirming, We need scam awareness. It would have become scam intention in there.
7745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading Crypto- Currencies Is Dead... on: November 14, 2016, 01:08:50 AM
I have realized that most traders set daily targets of profit they want to make. Do people really stay on their computers for hours and hours looking at the markets?
In my personally. i can say, it's yes.
Research and familiarizing with current trends is the key that most lack and this is why they cannot spot investment opportunities like major shifts in the market of a particular coin. Although some spot major shifts, chasing the bull has seen many losing money.

Sometimes the best trade is a No Trade. Roll Eyes

Nope, but the current trends are simply too short things. Some might have thought researching and familiarizing and not an important thing. but other were taking researching and familiarizing for an important thing.
Depending on their luck, it is becoming the wrong faith right now.
7746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How and where do I store my bitcoins? on: November 14, 2016, 12:38:11 AM
I think the best method to secure and store your bitcoins is the offline wallet, or using the Blockchain wallet. Both are secured enough so you haven't to worry about safety issues.
I don't think so, You had heard about the bitfinex cases in the past? We could have thought again for suggesting someone using the blockchain wallet.

7748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 13, 2016, 11:28:48 PM
Yes it is, digital currency now becoming the new face of payment and in the future for sure.
Actually, people already used digital money as method of payment since we use credit card or something similar to, at least no money show up in transaction unless you are going to bank and pay it. Whatever, the idea is to make any transaction but you shouldn't have bring money, so was bitcoin invented but more better than banks system. We all already know why, bitcoin has so many advantages than paper money.

Its a good currency but its also how you are looking towards it, I think that the future of the money is pretty okay but not that well because of the fact that the bitcoin can replace it in my eyes.
Indian, they have been happening a disaster in their economic sections, and attack the Fiat sector. In pulling a large. The Fiat has tremendous value in their community. And in fact, it has been a serious disaster for them. You might be having a correct on all of your said. looking forward the bitcoin has more of the implementation by all.
And bitcoin has more powers for it.
7749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spot an ICO SCAM on: November 13, 2016, 03:04:07 AM
Hi guys, I want to share with you my simple methodology (beta) of spotting ICO scams.

The methodology

There are criteria with various risk points. Summarize all the points of the criteria that the ICO meets to get total score. Total score represents a risk grade on which you can lean to take a risk or not.

Scam points and criteria:
1 point: minor suspicions (for each)
3 points: anon devs; no code snippets, videos, or beta; rushing
5 points: unrealistic goals; fuzzy whitepaper; self-mod topic
10 points: bought account; no escrow

Risk and total score:
low (0-5)
medium (6-10)
high (11-15)
very high (16-20)
extremely high (21 and more)

Example

Let's imagine there's an ongoing ICO of Supercoinxxx in which you want to invest some money.

The topic is self-mod (5 points) with devs that have unrealistic goals (5 points) like creating a decentralized stock market in 2-3 month and a fuzzy whitepaper (5 points) with no technical details. Also you found two minor suspicions (2 points) based on your experience. Which gives 17 points in total. Based on that score you conclude that risk is very high and skipping this ICO.

Updated: added "no escrow" criteria.

Greed i have the two example for you and hoping if you can reviewing those ico project because in my mind it's familiar with bought account or farmed account in some threads on meta sections.

I guess there are two are running by bought account in my mind.
7750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2016, 02:55:45 AM
china has less hash power then you think

haobtc.. are in tibet aswell as other locations
BW.. are in mongolia aswell as other locations
BTCC.. are around the world
bitfury.. are in Finland, Iceland, and the Republic of Georgia.

put down your racist hats and put on some research glasses

The Pools have over 51%, which means they can accept or deny any BTC transactions.
Control of the Pools has a Chinese Origin, and anything in China is Controlled by this guy.

You know trying to play a racist card every time you type is really Pathetic.

Satoshi is the one that warned everyone of the Danger of the 51% attack, even from Governments.
Do you want to call him a racist too?

Fact is it is a problem if any Government has 51% mining of BTC,
you want to call racism to ignore the fact this is a major problem, and Satoshi was the first to warn about it.
No one was ever supposed to have over 51%, Governments included.

There are 196 Countries in the World , One Country China has over 51% of the mining (for over a Year).
Ignoring Satoshi Greatest Warning at your own peril.

 Cool
Even the nodes are still spreading around the world i don't think about the another caused by 51% attack.
7751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: November 13, 2016, 02:20:14 AM
Bitcoin was mainly created to save people from banks and governments,to make them financially independent.Banks and governments tried a lot to destroy Bitcoins, but couldnot and Bitcoin has survived and is acheiving the objectives for what it was created.
Even if you're want to say the bank will destructing bitcoin, I guess you're need typewriting about the Google URL before and trying for finding some scientific article or news about that. It's not simple like you said all of the level, politic, economy, society entirely. All degree in the community.
7752  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Anyone using BTCC's Justpay wallet? on: November 13, 2016, 02:07:25 AM

7753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 12, 2016, 07:42:51 AM
Bitcoin is fast for international transactions, comparated to another old ways to transfer money, bitcoin solved a lot of problems

Bitcoin is slow for local transactions, if you will use it in an store will be boring wait 10-60 minutes until the transaction confirm

Bitcoins transaction is fast when you pay a high fee.

Bitcoin transaction is slow when you pay low fees.

That is what make the transaction speed go up or down... Who pays more, have priority. Somedays we need to highest fees to make our transactions go on an average speed, because there is a lot of people using bitcoins at same time and paying higher fees.
I paying more but I just get the middle priority and it takes average 12-15 minutes for every transaction. and what about that?

I thought this are depending on the delay of the block are take your transaction.

But i don't think if paying more will giving a large impact for this.
7754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2016, 07:26:26 AM
Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?

I guess is that the effect of Trump on bitcoin will be indirect. He will most likely focus on other businesses. However, the level of uncertainty is definitely high!

I guess trump will not focus on bitcoin but on trumpcoin. As of this moment trumpcoin has not grown through a hype but instead it grows naturally. BUt since Trump is the president the coin will likely rise and will continue to flourish. But it still needs time for it to grow naturally but i believe that in time it will rise in price and so i think this coin has a future and it is wise to get hold of this coin at this moment.
What the fuck about Trump coin? But what are you say seems like quite jokes for me? You told me from all of your sentences are referring if the Trump is like official coins?
That's just got some pumping caused by the trump election and nothing, about the real trump and trump coins.
7755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin protects against geopolitical risk on: November 12, 2016, 07:06:41 AM
It protects you against geopolitical risk if all nodes are uniformly distributed in various countries.

Mining is centralized in china, but the nodes are not. So china is a political risk for bitcoin if they decide to shut down miners.

So folks start up nodes in all countries, from Antarctic to Iceland to Zimbabwe, all countries should have a lot of nodes running.
And this why bitcoin are very suitable for becoming the global currency? Even that's will never get affected by the political events. Wink
7756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 12, 2016, 03:39:04 AM
Still no one can explain to me the purpose of ICN tokens.

No one should explain you ... is all written in the ICO white paper.
But there ... the token should be seen as a share of the ICONOMI
The more share you have, the more % of the profit you gain (payed in ETH).
As any share, you can also trade the token ...

When I should expect payment? Also, don't call this bs whitepaper, there is no science at all in it.

Probably dividends start the payout in Q1 2017

Well that's when the fund is supposed to become active. So I'd say realistically late Q1 or early Q2 2017 dividends are paid out.
Are the token holder is already pull their token out of the ethereumwallet and ico wallet is got divided or if the holder are sent back to them will automatically including the people are will receive the dividends from iconomi?
7757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: November 12, 2016, 03:35:42 AM
so what is the ico price of DCT?
You may think if the ico rate is below 30k satoshi but you can try for calculating the ico price I just giving a clue if the total of the tokens is 67,5 million maybe but see on the previous page about this, wishing got 30k on ico price and that's will be a good news for all. Grin
7758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VOTE: Top Cryptocurrency of the Month: NOVEMBER, 2016 on: November 12, 2016, 03:31:49 AM
Stop with the FUD. Microsoft has only supported Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Antshares.
Antshares supported by Microsoft? are this a true statement? I don't ever hear any news about that? Can anyone make a clarification for this? seems like I can't believing this.  Huh

7759  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Chinese police raid miner factories in its oil capital city, 1k+ miners seized on: November 12, 2016, 12:46:17 AM
Did they seriously think they would get away with stealing that much power?
Running bitcoin are not be sue you for always in there and monitoring your mining farm.  to be honest, if they think they can building the hidden farm and trying for leave them in the hidden place and this is are not useful at all.

They are forget if the police are having a brain.  Cheesy
