7742  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cooling my racks with "free-cooling" on: June 27, 2018, 10:11:44 AM
Why you still need a fan? 70 degrees is a normal temp and I think you don't need to add more fan to cool more your miner 70 degrees is enough temp for each miner.

I think your problem is air circulation in your room, you must exhaust all hot air out in your room to cool down your miner.

Try to exhaust and use a duct host each miner to push your hot air outside on the room, it can help to cool down the miner.
7743  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: 0 balance on mycelium wallet on: June 25, 2018, 11:34:11 PM
Try to let sync first the mycelium wallet because sometimes the mycelium network is slow, I sometimes experience to have a 0 balance on my mycelium and even I have a balance I couldn't transfer a bitcoin to other wallet.
So I think there's a bug on mycelium or any wallet on mobile try to report it to mycelium support check this
https://mycelium-support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

You can also try to clear history and data of your phone then try again and let the mycelium to sync first on the network.
7744  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bech32 Segwit Addresses - Possible to get them converted to regular addresses? on: June 25, 2018, 11:23:19 PM
I heard that in order to get the bitcoin fork coins from a segwit addresses the wallet from fork coins must be also segwit support in order to redeem your fork coins, if it's still no wallet with segwit support on fork coins there's still no other way to take your BTCP put from your segwit address.

I tried to use the www.bitaddress.org wallet details tool but the private key of segwit address is not supported.
7745  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AntMiner S3 not hashing on: June 25, 2018, 10:48:11 PM
What cable do you mean? 6 pin PSU connector? Or cable inside antiner?

Both 6 pin connector and the 20 pin connector from control board to dead hashboard, disconnect them and try to start mining with 1 hashing board.

Look at the image here you must disconnect all connector of dead hashboard.

7746  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Very high tx fee in mycelium on: June 24, 2018, 11:41:51 PM
I think mycelium is following what is the normal fee for a legacy wallet, but if you are using a segwit address the fee must be lower.

Check this site https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

The network is not normal and I think there is a high number of transaction made day by day that can result of the fee increases.

I suggest you use segwit addresses instead if you don't want to pay higher miners fee.
7747  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Luno help out! on: June 24, 2018, 11:31:10 PM
Can you share the website if what is Luno, never heard this site before.

Anyway, you can try to clear your history and cache by going to settings>history> then clear data.

I suggest you to use a well-known wallet for mobile like electrum or mycelium for android then for IOS phone you can use Green Address its also support on android OS.
7748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: are there other places to announce a new coin has beeen created? on: June 24, 2018, 11:00:30 PM

I hope this is what you are looking for.
7749  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AntMiner S3 not hashing on: June 24, 2018, 10:44:53 PM
Hello, have the same problem...
How to disconnect only one board?
Just remove the cable or disconnect the cable from control board to dead hashing board and then you can start mining with remaining hashing board.

I found this on forum and I don't think if the hashing board still available here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1857129.0
if your hashing board is dead then you can still replace it with new hashing board but you need to use the upgrade kit and replace hashing boards to upgrade it like a brand new.
7750  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Funds Are Safe on: June 22, 2018, 11:39:54 PM
The way I see it : Deposit -> Wait -> Keep Waiting -> Website is down -> Funds are locked forever

Why would anyone trust you with even 1 satoshi? You're in a way a bank which promises interest over fixed deposits provided they're trusted and have a physical location/lockers. The only point of your contact is your online accounts. Fail business strategy/pathetic scam attempt.
Agree, that's why no one can give you protection to your wallet but yourself and make sure to put all high-security feature to make your wallet safe in any hack and it is too risky to put all of your tokens or coins in an unknown website.

Control yourself and hold your funds tightly and sell them in the right time if you can't do this well it's your own fault not to other because the only way in crypto world is to hold it for a long time and sell them at the right time, don't use a service like this because this website had no legal or local business location and we can't trust this site because this site still new and unknown so to keep your funds safe save them in your own wallet with 2nd layer of security.
7751  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 'exhausted' at $6k - 'bottoming process' could sink crypto to $4k on: June 22, 2018, 10:43:08 PM
I don't think it could drop more and hit $4k maybe around $5k and I think the reason behind of the price decrease it's because of bithumb issue, but there is a good news about MT.Gox issue and I think no more dumping will happen so expect that the price could recover fast after the price drop below $6k.

Just remember what happened year by year the price is increasing every mid-year and 4 quarter of the year so expect for a bit drop then the price will recover to hit back the $7k above.

This is the time to see more good news these coming months that can push the price back higher than what we expected.
7752  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I’ve misplaced my Eth on: June 22, 2018, 10:28:42 PM
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have the addresses I sent them to. I’ll post them tomorrow if it will help. Both were sent in the same day so I think they will both have been sent to the same exchange. I’ve checked binance as I thought it was the most likely, but I have no transaction history on that day.
You can try other well known exchanges like cryptopia, Okex, hitbtc.com and gdax.

Here is the other list of exchanges https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets

Also, check your email and maybe you can find the exchange site in your email inbox.
7753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Winmax Miner Software - Scam or Legit? on: June 22, 2018, 10:14:19 PM
Never heard that mining software and most of the mining software here are free and you can use it for mining with your pc.
Don't try that software you will be scam.
You can try use some free mining software here like claymore but make sure that your PC has graphics card to mine altcoin like ethereum.

Please check this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0
You can find almost all mining software without fee or with 1% to 2% hashrate as a donation.
7754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The date is very close when Indian government will ban the crypto trading. on: June 22, 2018, 08:55:03 PM
According to zebpay announcement that if zebpay bank is disrupted, rupee deposit and withdrawal is impossible.

So, I think for the safety of your funds start to move all of your funds out from the zebpay exchange if your all crypto funds are there.

There is still some alternative way to withdraw your crypto without using local exchange in India.

You can try to make a perfect money verified account because there are many options to convert your crypto to perfect money then you can use some service to withdraw your perfectmoney to western union or any other available remittances in your country to receive your money.
7755  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stocks.Exchange withdraw charge up to 0.004BTC! on: June 22, 2018, 08:07:57 PM
This is an amazing number. They explained in their Twitter like this:

Quote
BTC network is EXTREMELY overloaded and we are forced to increase withdrawal fee up to 0,004 BTC.
Please, do not withdraw without urgency!
Once the network get free, we will decrease the fee.🧐
https://twitter.com/StocksExchangeR/status/1009441676878843904

What do you think? Is this exchange worthy of trust?

What a lie and an invalid excuse. They are charging too much yet on the current price of bitcoin it is already on $24 fee which is really too ridiculous for them to charge and its clearly they are making out money on that one which this is really a valid reason not to make use of this exchange. There are lots of exchange which do charge less why do make use of this site?
Ive been checking out unconfirmed transactions in the network all are just fine https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions Theres no valid excuse.
I think its normal to increase the fee due to high numbers of transaction happened today and according to the PM from the exchange they will forced to increase the fee up to 0.004 btc it means that they will increase the fee but not exactly 0.004 for every withdrawal.
Anyway, going to another exchange site with less fee is the right decision for now because the network is slow due to many transaction made these days.
7756  Economy / Speculation / Re: $31 million in the hand of hackers on: June 21, 2018, 07:18:52 PM
There are many hackers out there and the advantage of hacking in cryptocurrency they can easily mix it and receive a clean bitcoin and then they couldn't trace it easily. Just like the hacker from darkweb movie, it's a real-life story, but until now he still not caught by NBI or by the Police because he is always using cryptocurrency to hide all his money and mix them slowly. I think hackers right now is different compared before if exchanges and website improving their security hackers also improving their tools to hack their target.

Anyway, if this is true it can affect the bitcoin price in the future if the hacker is planning to sell them all.
7757  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum help fee calculations on: June 21, 2018, 06:10:42 PM
I think if you are using the latest electrum you can see automatically the fee like the above said just slide it to the right for faster transaction then slide left for normal or slower transaction then right of the slider you can see the automatic fee(its calculated if you put the amount of btc you want to send).

Only older version of electrum not showing a calculated fee.
If you are using segwit address on electrum I think you don't need to be worry because you will pay a small fee than a legacy addresses.
7758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 btc stolen on: June 21, 2018, 05:23:51 PM
Let me ask if your binance account has 2 factor authentication or email verification?
If yes maybe it's a binance bug or I think you use a fake website because there are some scammers posting a ads in some search engine like google and bing.
If you are victim of fake binance there is no way to recover your BTC or if your computer is infected with auto paste malware which can auto paste other bitcoins address then there is no way to recover it.

Please post the binance link that you use and we will check if its fake or not?
7759  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Is Mycelium still a good wallet to use? on: June 20, 2018, 11:17:36 PM
To be honest, I just wonder why Electrum is not having a mobile wallet. It is gonna rock!
Electrum does have a mobile wallet, Electrum Bitcoin Wallet on Google Play. I don't think it's available for iPhones though.
For now only GreenAddress for IOS would be the best choice for iPhone because my friend of mine use this wallet without any issues.

Honestly... the mobile version of Electrum is quite limited and somewhat buggy. In my experience the UI is a bit flaky and I've had it crash quite a few times. Additionally, the app itself is quite feature limited compared to the desktop one. It's more of a "companion" app that will allow you to spend/receive a few coins should you need to while on the go.
There is no backup seed phrase option on electrum mobile but you can backup only the private keys but still electrum wallet in mobile still works fine to me without any issue just make sure that you save your seed phrase on the piece of paper for future recovery
7760  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trying to remember a website name on: June 20, 2018, 10:46:45 PM
I didn't know that there is a service like coinify that could convert your bitcoin payment directly to PayPal, I was looking for this service when I was active making a landing(sales) page and offering service online before. However, after reading some reviews about the site here http://bittrust.org/coinify I change my mind to try their service.

No problem.
Bank transfer fee is 0€ for SEPA transfer and  40 DKK (Denmark?) for international bank transfer, and Paypal is 7% fee. Look like a good solution for people who own a website and want to accept cryptos but need to use Paypal at the end. The only thing is the 7% I find it a little expensive, so I think twice about using the service.

7% fee for paypal fee its still good than nothing because it's a unique service offer I don't heard any website that can offer to convert bitcoin to paypal or directly receive bitcoin to a paypal payment.
