7741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 01, 2017, 02:49:41 AM
Gambling is so addictive because we always try to chase our losses. I also gamble a little and always feel like winning back what I lost.
We are humans and that is normal, however if every time you gamble you cannot control yourself, you will certainly experience the worst effect of gambling. It's not you who will win in the end but the gambling sites as it is the nature for them to win in the long run as they have the advantage.

Chasing your bets is fine but should be base on your game plan that you created prior to actual gambling session.
7742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 01, 2017, 02:37:27 AM
Yes bitcoins are non reversible and we can set the fees as per the urgency of confirmation needed and hence they can be use widely just sometimes confirmations are slow moreover we still are not accepted at big sites.
With that system bitcoin has, it does not fit to what government like in our online transaction, they want to control things to ensure that we are doing it in compliance with the law. Bitcoin is only the future money of crypto currencies enthusiast but in general, it is not effective to implement it for the benefit of all. Legal tender is what people need as our trust in our government is still bigger compared to our trust with bitcoin network.
7743  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: January 01, 2017, 02:31:32 AM
i think bitcoin have very stronger and powerful security and there is no tax on bitcoin and bitcoin is very useful than cash its transaction is very faster than other currency .
i think that the only reason behind this is that bitcoin is it is the need of the modern age, in modern age as most of the people are giving preference to online business and online buying and selling. therefore they are now accepting bitcoin as digital currency as compare to paper money.
As an investor who are engage into business, it is your duty to ensure that you are operating according to the law. What bitcoin can offer is to give us a faster and cheap transaction, but some of the features raises the attention of the government as well, it's anonymity is something that contradicts government rules for KYC.
7744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: December 31, 2016, 02:54:38 AM
Trading with gambling is different, but both have risk with gambling you can lose, all in one second and that's all but with trade can lose all after a week or month trading without knowledge and skills is same as gambling

In trading also you can lose all your money if you go for leverage trading. So you must study first how trading works before jumping into it. In trading, they allow you to invest a small amount and can leverage big money, but if the product loses small % also you in leverage trading, investors can lose very big money or everything.
It is required for every person who want to try their journey in trading to know the basic of trading and that can be achieve by proper studying. You do not jump automatically when you are not ready yet, you must start with the theory before doing it into actual practice, actually it's a long journey as long the journey you will learn a lot if you pay attention full enough.
7745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 31, 2016, 02:46:23 AM
Looks like the Miami Heat is keeping up with the Celtics, the line was not move with a steady -9.5 and from what I see, the Heat will easily cover and might even win if they are lucky enough. However, according to the stats, the Celtics is good in 4th quarter so we cannot be too confident with this one.
7746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 31, 2016, 01:00:34 AM
There are lot many things done by people for their own happiness. Likewise some are into gambling for their happiness as well to spend time. Also we are not disturbing the one next to us or others for our happiness. On this base I'm not at all ashamed of being a gambler, as there are people who are shameless even after doing unwanted things.
Nicely said mate, there's no reason to be ashamed when what we are doing is just to entertain ourselves. It's our right to be happy in this world and we can do all we want as long as we do not violate the law to hard others. We are unique individuals, therefore it is expected that we have different wants that could give us full satisfaction.
7747  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: December 31, 2016, 12:49:09 AM
maybe, but even bitcoin being popular as the way it is,,tbh Gold is more valuable. need a mores reason to make Bitcoin as stable currency.the point is,,Bitcoin just likes a Season,,
I think the view of most users who rely on bitcoin prices to make a profit, they are very dependent on fluctuations to get untun everyday, of course, if the price of bitcoin becomes stable. a lot of users will abandon bitcoin right?

If the price stays stable, a lot of people will find it boring as an investment like the day trading. I think those who speculate only on the price in order to make a profit will leave if the price stays stable for a long time. Otherwise, for those who use it to get pay online and transfer money, will continue to use it.
It would be like that way because in the first place bitcoin is not an investment but a currency where we can use for online transaction. As investment as it is, only few will benefit and obviously the investors does as the demand is increasing which would result to increase of their profit as well.
7748  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: December 30, 2016, 06:32:30 AM
Well I see it as battle of centralized and decentralized system where centralized have an edge over that decentralized system since the first one is supported by the government.  Having said that there is an authority behind cashless society, there is a big chance that it will kill bitcoin because it already do the supposed to be function of bitcoin.  Aside from same sort had been tested for several decade now and had been proven to work great unlike bitcoin which is at its early phase of development and application.
So one factor that cashless society could possibly kill bitcoin by making the government to eliminate competition and that is banning bitcoin or same sort of decentralized cryptocurrency.
A cashless society may happen but it is not going to happen everywhere at the same time, it will happen sooner in the developed countries, but in poorer countries cash will keep on existing so a possible solution for some time will be if you live in a cashless society is to buy cash from other countries and then use that cash to buy bitcoin and once you have it you can use the same channels as before to buy stuff with bitcoin like purse.io.
I agree with you on that, the fact that majority of the world's population are still living in poverty, they are not subject for a change in the future as they will still continue with the old ways.
That poverty is really a problem that can't be wiped out from a century ago until now or even longer and it means that waiting until poverty cleared is such a waste of time. Technology must be developed with the cheapest possible to make those poor people could afford the technologies thus they can be getting involved into cashless society

As described its better to make a technology advanced as well affordable and accessible by poor people which helps eradicate poverty. Another thing is that cashless environment makes the benefits from government to people directly without any intermediate which is good for poor.
A cashless society would give advantage to the government to easily function on their job, all transactions can easily be monitored and any illegal transactions will be trace directly, that's the fear of those who are doing illegal activities and even though from the legitimate users as we can never trust the government to serve the interest of the public all the time.
7749  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: December 30, 2016, 06:25:21 AM
When the government print more paper money, its value is automaticaly decrease. Its not good for us becouse goevernment can print it anytime they want. I am sure that people will leave paper money soon.

No. They cant print just anytime they want. There are things that are needed to be passed in order to do it. There is just always a number of money that can be printed. It goes deep and need more understanding about finance to know about this.
The government can print its own currency if they sees the need to do it, they have all the authority to do it, hence it makes the paper money subject for inflation as the supply is not limited although the demand increases. Bitcoin has a big difference with paper money since it's online and the supply is pretty limited and no inflation at all, some consider paper money as investment but we all consider bitcoin as an investment.
7750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 30, 2016, 02:33:56 AM
No because some people will still use banks..,maybe in the near feature they will adopt the technology behind Bitcoin

They are already having some interest for adopting bitcoin for their services. But even though they will adopt it or just kind of interest that they will give to bitcoin still bitcoin doesn't has right to completely make the banks disappear. It is hard to do so as it is being followed and regulated by the government.
Banks can't adopt with bitcoin but what they are doing is they make a bitcoin like system, bitcoin is decentralized while bank can never be. Making their own would not attract people to adopt because we know that once centralized, we are being controlled and we do not want that as we always want freedom in life and for our transactions that cannot be spied by authorities.
7751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: December 30, 2016, 02:10:01 AM
Most altcoins are garbage, but there are a few that did advance the blockchain technologies and made us better understanding the cybercurrency. Yet none will ever getting close to bitcoin.
That's maybe true in the present because to be highly developed and to rise sky high like bitcoin now, altcoins need to have enough amount of time and draw plenty of attention to grow. But as time passes by, this might no longer true. Nothing can last forever and so does bitcoin, it will surely be replaced by another crypto coins, what's left now is the matter of time.

altcoin is not dependent on Bitcoin and Bitcoin does not depend also to altcoins but  creating an altcoin would be beneficial since you can converts those alts to btc..
so its mean alt coins are depending on bitcoin, to me i think both bitcoin and alt coin are important to each other, to me as i most invest my assets in bitcoin and from there i futher invest my bitcoin into alt coin and same is the reverse procedure when i want to cash out my some money.

Some users does this, but even without altcoin it is possible to convert bitcoin to fiat. When it comes to altcoin, very few can be directly converted to fiat. In my view, trading can be effective with the altcoins but both were not mutually depending. Mostly alts depends for growth.
Bitcoin will be more progressive with altcoins, they are not competing but rather helping each other to build a wonderful crypto world. Nowadays, there are a lot of altcoins created and investors and users have other options whether to use bitcoin or alts or use both.

However, it cannot be denied that bitcoin is the most successful one and a dominant currency but they can all exist without a problem.
7752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 30, 2016, 01:48:58 AM
I doubt it'll be replaced. The most I'm guessing that will happen would be inflation in the market, and some other cryptocurrency rise above the value of bitcoins for the time being, but bitcoins would still take 1st place on the average in terms of value
The future is certainly beyond our control, time will come and if that happens I believe Ethereum will take place as the top Altcoins to replace bitcoin as IMO it's the most population altcoin now. I even invest now since the price is very low and I have witnessed it has gone up BTC0.03 +.

Ethereum is a clear opposite of bitcoin, as when the price of bitcoin increases ETH drops, so the failure of bitcoin will be its success.

7754  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: No to Rank DISCRIMINATION!!! :) on: December 29, 2016, 03:21:52 AM
Tama! No rank discrimination, lalo na kung newbie, sana same same din ang mga payout ng mga newbie. Pero nakakatakot lang kasi sa mga newbie. Pwedeng gumawa ng dummy account. Kaya mejo mahirap ang mga ganito
It's not the rank the matters in this forum but more like your contribution. There are some newbies who are making remarkable contributions in this forum and they have grown to a higher rank still having the respect of fellow members. The problem only is that, most newbies are making scams as they can easily make disposable accounts.
7755  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin News Involving Philippines on: December 29, 2016, 03:12:46 AM
Until no rules has been drafted and sign yet, we can continue to do like what we normally do. The laws that will be made is just to combat the illegal transactions online as required by the Anti Money Laundering Council and for sure the local exchanges where we convert our bitcoins into fiat will surely notify us once it's out for implementation.
7756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help about Gambling? on: December 28, 2016, 03:59:49 AM
The only gambling where your skill plays a significant role to help you win the game is either sports betting like soccer or texas holdem poker. This texas holdem poker in fact is 90% based on your skill and 10% based on luck.

Dice, slots, blackjack are game of chances where they are pre programed to make you lose money in the long run.

You should quit luck games and try skill ones, if even in skill games you are bad, then quit gambling.
Correct if you are weak in knowledge base game better stay away from this gambling or you can afford your loss play slot games just for fun. The slot games only give you entertainment and these games are not profitable. Only the skill games like sports betting and other card games are profitable. If you ask me, i will suggest you play sports betting.
That's true, games where we have no advantage is only good for fun, hence people who really want to try their luck and to be able to use their skills in gambling tried the two most popular gambling games which are poker and sports betting. Between the two, I am more focus on sports betting because I believe I have my passion in sports.
7757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: December 28, 2016, 03:53:26 AM
In my view, Investing is the best choice. it has got strategy and make us smarter.
The gambling is a fortune. it's very dangerous.
Everyone has their own choice, to me I like gambling as compare to trading, in gambling you have always chance of making big money in a short time, you just need some trick to learn about gambling, if you have some experience and skill of gambling that will also be helpful in gambling.

I personally have good experience in gambling therefore for most of the time I make good money there.

You can say that because you have a good experience in gambling but most of the people here will say that it is better to invest in something profitable. Even though that there is no sure investment that has assurance to give profit but that is making yourself secure because investments has lesser risk than gambling.
The experience really tells us what to choose, I personally choose to invest than to do gambling because I have never achieve my long term dream to win consistently, what I only experience in gambling is just a temporary win because the next time I gamble I still lose it all, including my profit in the previous days.
7758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 27, 2016, 01:34:51 PM
I don't feel any shame telling to people of my circle that I am doing gambling regularly. Even my family knows why to feel shame when I am doing gambling with my own money. Others have no right to judge me as long as my gambling habit is not creating problems for them.
People don't have the right to judge but they do usually. And that's the point of my question.
Regardless of our aim in gambling we have the right to gamble and not to be ashamed of it as long as we do not steal the money we use in gambling, it's our money so it's our decision on how to use it. It has been noted than gambling is just a form of entertainment and as a person we have all the right to be entertain to relieve the stress in life.
7759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: December 27, 2016, 01:20:35 PM
yes its possible ,
Yes, but only in sport betting.
I do not agree with this, how can you be in profit with sports betting ?
In fact it has higher edge and plays an emotional role like if my country is playing against other country in soccer I might make a emotional bet. I am really curious to know how can spots betting be profitable in long term.
i was hear that several times ago there is a person that betting his wife for soccer match and i think this is also the proof that even in sport betting will ruin people life because just like you say that greedy and emotional will destroy your bets so there is no long term profit in gambling

That's pretty rare to happen in gambling dude, and a person with a clear mind would never do that to his wife, we only bet our money and not a person. Maybe he cannot just handle the stress in gambling and even his wife were use as a bet in sports betting.

When you are out of mind, there is not specification in terms of type of gambling as you are still gambling no matter what.
7760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: December 27, 2016, 12:09:49 PM
As busy I am in gambling since I'm gambling regularly, I do not anymore bother to avail of the promotions as I do not really get big benefits when doing it, when I was a newbie I do participate on it but this time I am a more serious gambler and I have to make sure I will be able to make use of my time in gambling wisely as I have more serious business to do than gambling.
