7761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING & TRADING on: April 13, 2017, 06:16:10 PM
As a new member and new in bitcoin commutity i want to make some reviews for my own,, and i thinks words from a real peopl can help me..

Ive seen some people who got some profit in gambling sites and also i see investing to gambling websites.. I just want to know is this is profitable that making trading? I just got some ideas on trading difference currency by reading so trading sites reviews.. And they got my attention to start on trading.

I consider trading much safer then gambling because with gambling sooner or later, you will lose everything while with trading, you got a chance where you could walk away when you see things are going badly, the advice I could give you is that you shouldn't make your decision based on fear, the market is sometimes being manipulated.
7762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Service (free or paid) to make confirmations on transaction faster? on: April 13, 2017, 04:03:40 PM
You have ViaBTC and It's free: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ and the website you gave is down for maintenance, It should comeback.
7763  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 13, 2017, 02:51:07 PM
Think of it this way, If it wasn't profitable, why would they waste their money? this is valid for every service and not only gambling. Those[1] are the statistics from the Adslots that theymos sell in the auction rounds, you can see how much traffic and clicks they
get and judge by yourself, signature campaign generate ever more because they are more visible and multiple people wear them.

7764  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which was the site on: April 13, 2017, 02:01:46 PM
There was one site where they were offering amazon gift cards on a really good prices. And they were safe if I remember ?

All services that sells gift cards never sells them cheap or for a discount (like Gyft for example). Instead, you should use Paxful or the Digital goods section on the forums, trading with individuals is better and you could find discounts. (like 100$ Amazon for 70$ BTC)
7765  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: In search of reliable cold wallet on: April 13, 2017, 01:26:18 PM
A cold wallet is supposed to be used for long term storage and not for daily uses. You could use any wallet that actually give you the ability to export the private keys, put them in a word file and simply print them and store them. Bitcoin-qt could create addresses and receive funds without the need of downloading the while blockchain btw (you need to wait for the sending though).
7766  Economy / Exchanges / Re: i want sell bitcoin on: April 13, 2017, 01:19:49 PM
what is the advantages to buy or sell our money at your exchanger? why use your service if other trusted exchanges more safe and trusted? lots of site exchange and trusted members offer service like this, please explain more your better service and advantages

Probably no advantages except the fact that there is no ID requirements (assuming that the transaction is legit), however, the reserve is too small, It only takes a few transactions until he ran out of reserve and people can't buy anymore.
7767  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Cheapest way to get Ledger Nano S ? on: April 13, 2017, 11:28:51 AM
Maybe what you can do is find a freight forwarder that is based off france or londo (UK). You might get better deals there as they could ship it directly to you when they do get the goods on their warehouses. Usually, this is what people from my country (philippines) do when they buy stuff from amazon and ship it here.

I mentioned above that scenario and how It could result into basically the same results. Reship companies use FedEx, DHL and USP Express which are expensive as well.
7768  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Restore mnemonic phrase (QUITING JAXX WALLET) on: April 13, 2017, 10:06:39 AM
Thanks! Tried out the Exodus wallet. It is clean and simple but then it did not recover my ethereum correctly.

Here is their slack: https://exodusmovement.slack.com/messages (mention @daniel_castagnoli there since he is one of the developers)
7769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experiences with goldmoney? on: April 13, 2017, 09:29:11 AM
I remember using them back in 2015 but I'm not using them anymore, the service is indeed reversible so It's not really recommended to use it for trading unless you are dealing with trusted members and even If you do, don't expect 1:1 rates or something because It's not really that valuable. You may also wanna check the references of "Bitgold.com" (old name of goldmoney): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326821.0 as they were accused of scamming multiple times.
7770  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Restore mnemonic phrase (QUITING JAXX WALLET) on: April 13, 2017, 08:48:53 AM
I am quitting jaxx wallet since they would not want to solve the stupid max spendable bug for btc. How do I migrate to other wallet with the 12 words mnemonic phrase?

You didn't mention on what platform you are using the wallet but the seed should work for Mycelium (Android), Exodus (Desktop - Multi coins) or CoPay (desktop + mobile). Jaxx also follows BIP39 If I'm not wrong, so restoring in Electrum (by checking the option "BIP39 seed" should give you the ability to recover your coins too)
7771  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Wallet 2.8.2 Password Issues on: April 13, 2017, 08:37:34 AM
I doubt that closing the program caused this problem. Have you tried to recover your wallet using the seed? I assume you have it written down somewhere.
7772  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: https://bip148.org - bip148 Gitian builds on: April 13, 2017, 07:59:28 AM
I suggest listing the services that are supporting UASF, you could check reddit from time to time If you want those info, checking http://www.uasf.co/ could also give you a better idea on what you should mention in your site.
7773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gaming sites safe to use? on: April 13, 2017, 07:44:56 AM
It's really not about how safe gambling sites are, is more like how greedy are you and could you control yourself? It may not be of my business but I really don't recommend gambling as you will probably lose everything, probably not right away from starting but you will eventually.
To answer your question now, just google the name of the website + bitcointalk and find the official announcement. (like : "roadbet.com bitcointalk") you will find the feedback of users there for sure.
7774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Set to Legalize Bitcoin by 2018, Track Every Transaction on: April 13, 2017, 07:14:34 AM
I guess Russian bitcoiner will avoid using legal Russia exchanger, centralized wallet, service that require personal identity and they will use mixer to prevent government from tracking them Roll Eyes
Even so, it's good to see another big country legalize bitcoin rather than ban bitcoin even with regulation/no anonymity.

Russians are the best hackers and that's due to the high mathematics level they teach in their schools. In other words, they are intelligent and I doubt they will fall for whatever the government is planning to do when It comes to using bitcoin in the upcoming months.
7775  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Cheapest way to get Ledger Nano S ? on: April 13, 2017, 06:41:31 AM
I think if bought directly from the company was better,
and will be good again looking at the site or the internet in order to give a discount code.

I know that's the recommended thing to do but I thought I could find a third party who get supplies from the company Itself. I found discount code but It really doesn't do much. (like 3% off)
7776  Economy / Exchanges / Re: EasyBit's ATM locations you can buy and sell bitcoins with CASH on: April 12, 2017, 04:44:04 PM
Do you guys have any plans to add ATMs in UK (mostly London)? If so, when exactly as I may need to have access to one when I travel there.
7777  Other / New forum software / Re: email if someone adds a rating on: April 12, 2017, 03:23:57 PM
You are talking about trust ratings? I definitely don't see how this feature could make the users life easier, It's more convenient to receive notifications for important stuff and not ratings as you could check that anytime in your profile and It's not something that happens often, because you mostly receive them while doing transactions with people only.
7778  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: April 12, 2017, 01:42:07 PM
I was talking to the developers and community/product manager (Rassah) in Telegram a couple of days ago. GitHub repository seem to be active once again and they decided to not build the wallet from scratch, instead, they will be pushing updates on the current Google play account where they hosted the wallet and the GitHub repo.

I asked them about the Twitter account too, they said that their CEO (who is busy with not sure what) is the one controlling the account and Rassah too but he have no updates to post and for the UASF then you got this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/64xspk/mycelium_uasf/
7779  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: April 12, 2017, 01:17:03 PM
@Wirex:

Short question:
How can i generate a new Bitcoin-address for every BTC-deposit in my Wirex-account (browser-version)?
Its standard in the BTC-world to use new addresses for every transaktion.

Z80

The old platform was giving that ability but since they upgraded It's not possible, while funding using altcoins, you could have different addresses each time but the bitcoin address is not changing at all.
7780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Russia Set to Legalize Bitcoin by 2018, Track Every Transaction on: April 11, 2017, 05:41:05 PM
Only a year ago Russia’s Finance Ministry was threatening jail time to anyone using digital currencies.

In a major U-turn, it’s now edging closer to their acceptance as a legitimate financial instrument to open a new line of attack on money laundering.

The authorities hope to recognize bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in 2018 as they seek to enforce rules against illegal transfers, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev said in an interview. The central bank is developing a joint position together with the government on digital currencies, according to its press service.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-04-10/russia-caves-in-on-bitcoin-to-open-new-front-on-money-laundering

I'm not sure If I should be happy or sad since they are planning to Legalize bitcoin but in the same time, tracking transactions. I'm not entirely sure on how they plan to do it though and how It could be possible unless they are planning to run their own exchanges. I believe that Russians will need TumbleBit whenever this will happen.
