What's funny is that in Australia that shirt is called a wife-beater.
It's called that here too. What's really funny is all of the supposedly intellectual young college entrepreneur Bitcoiners that were sucked in and conned by some dumbass wife-beating Texas hillbilly. lol

Interesting. He makes it sound as if the SR economy is as big as the Bitcoin economy. It makes me wonder if Bitcoin really is primarily a vehicle for SR type trading with some small-time legitimate business frosting on top to make it look legit.

What are they going to do, come to everyone's house and take their computers away. That worked real well when they did that with BitTorrent....Oh wait!!
*Opens BitTorrent*
Force works pretty well in the USA today. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F2.bp.blogspot.com%2F-o9cAofTQo1E%2FToaDZ28dlMI%2FAAAAAAAACJs%2FaM8QVn_81Cs%2Fs320%2Fpolice%2Bbrutality.jpg&t=663&c=jAZ7pttqJqZRyA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fstatic.infowars.com%2F2013%2F04%2Fi%2Fgeneral%2Fbostonmil5.jpg&t=663&c=IR_NjJ4QdMvGlw) Just like it worked throughout history. Don't fool yourself into believing that government force against it's citizens won't work because it always works.

He's a Texas heavily armed redneck and a wife beater. rofl Could the stereotype get any better. Please God someone find a photo of him holding a shotgun, wearing one of these t-shirts, in front of Walmart and make the stereotype complete. lol ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F3.bp.blogspot.com%2F_Ja_AQ8Nxukc%2FTHO_daq4fVI%2FAAAAAAAABZI%2F_Yy1VUpqr44%2Fs320%2Fbeaters.jpg&t=663&c=mEBq7FWkBl8c8A)

A couple of years ago I had a discussion with someone here about bad publicity. I was voraciously attacked by all and told that any publicity is good for Bitcoin. Well this is the result of years of bad publicity in the U.S.A. combined with too many average people getting scammed and running to do the only thing they know to do/have been programmed to do (alert the authorities). This is obviously what everyone wanted so why complain now? The worst possible outcome that could happen is the American Nazi's stop using Bitcoin and it flourishes in the rest of the world. Oh sure, some pro-American countries that always implement our legislation will follow suit but that won't stop the rest of the world from using it and people that fervently believe in it can just go live in one of those countries.

Danger! Incoming brainfart. How about doing something that nobody has ever done before? Sounds obvious, but... The following is what I just thought of literally a minute ago, having the entire idea pop in my head directly after reading the title of this thread. ANIMAL PORN. Dedicate a site to animals in sexual position, but not actually doing any sexual acts. Have people contribute photos of animals dressed in sexy outfits (not photoshopped). Can you image an elephant donning a physical tutu? A male boxer (dog) in an S&M leather outfit. A groundhog in a French maid outfit? A chipmunk in a string bikini? You could have monthly contests for the top three, voted on via Bitcoin. Here's the beauty part of the million dollar idea: Congratulations! animorn.com is available. Snap it up before someone else does. Once a year, hold a convention where owners show off their animals donning sexy clothing. The media would pick it up so damn quick, it'll make your Robin Sidel's head spin. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fproduct-images.highwire.com%2F1789373%2F2761233.jpg&t=663&c=1DOzwaP7NjhYxg) Just when I thought your posts can't get any more odd than they already are. Bravo! You've outdone yourself. lol

Eventually Team America: World Police will make all Bitcoiners wear a yellow coin badge when they leave the house so the authorities can identify them on sight. This badge will be known as the Star of Satoshi. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.holocaustresearchproject.org%2Fghettos%2FLodz%2Fimages%2Flodzstar.jpg&t=663&c=uCkUVOeVippIIQ)

Keep in mind the court was in TEXAS. Surely they love the federal government.
I'm not sure if you are familiar with Texas? Given half a chance, those heavily armed rednecks would probably secede from the union.

I've never had this problem before here even with the complete nut-cases. I have absolutely no fucking idea what you're talking about.

2013 - Bitcoin becoming the legal tender of U.S. 2014 - The U.S. government tightens the regulations on Bitcoin after a group of pedophiles were busted. Late 2014 - Additional regulations are implemented in order to protect the children! 2015 - As the chances of a Bitcoin funded terrorist attack grows Bimbama implements a killswitch for the whole Bitcoin network, 51% of the power is gained by multiple supercomputers fully funded by the taxpayers! 2016 - As unemployment grows the U.S. decides to implement a mechanism of creating new Bitcoins out of thin air!
tl:dr same thing happens to Bitcoin as with USD.
Mid 2014 Bitcoin forks to Bit2 branch and power is returned to the people. Bit2 is accepted and used by all because the entire population in now trained to understand and use it on a daily basis thanks to government training programs. Sadly Bit2 is then demonized by the community shortly after and since most of the people on earth are docile sheep that can't think for themselves Bit2 quickly finds its end. We should get together and write a novella just to see where it goes. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Don't bother, I've called the pirate ponzi a "Typical HYIP scam" at the first post after his OP, and left it there over the whole course of the Drama. And we've all seen how that turned out. I think that's the main reason I became so cynical about Bitcoin. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) But you must realize that this has very little to do with Bitcoin per se, and everything to do with human nature. We aren't especially good at handling cognitive dissonance and are highly influenced by group-think behavior. No, really? VVVVVV

I will be offering Bitcoin Private keys laser engraved in diamonds pretty soon. It's a little bit more complicated then originally expected so there are a few things to work out still, but my service is coming. :-)
Sounds like a James Bond movie "Diamonds Are Forever Your Bitcoins".

Uhhh whats fed?
Federal Reserve. And please don't. The US is already screwing with Bitcoin as is, imagine if it was their legal tender.... If it follows the same pattern as the USD then everyone in the world would accept it as currency.

I believe it to be fairly closed minded to come to this conclusion. Butterfly have obviously had some substantial problems stopping them from shipping but I'm certain they will come good and they have begun to. Those with belief will be rewarded, just like bitcoin in general. The price of bitcoin comes down to one thing and one thing only, our belief in it.
Just like Jesus, if you believe then your going to heaven but your reward won't happen in this life.

Create a gold based Ponzi scheme and I guess we'll find out. There have been many, many gold-based Ponzi schemes. Here's one from this year. Gold mining scams go back to the 18th century at least. Here's some background. It's worth learning about the history of financial scams. None of the ones involving Bitcoin are new. History always repeats itself in new clothing.

Why don't you just write it on papyrus paper using carbon soot from an olive oil lamp as ink. Then put it in a clay jar and store it in a cave. I hear that will last for a couple of thousand years.

I explained it to my mother-in-law as coupons that you can spend at any store (she's a coupon clipper). I asked her what the largest coupon she ever redeemed was. She told me $50. Then I told her to imagine that you could buy that coupon in any value you needed, spend it on any product you want, at many different stores, and even use it at stores in other countries. She asked why you wouldn't just use dollars with a credit card instead of buying the coupon first. I told her because it's trendy, edgy, all the cool people use it so STFU and go get me a beer.
