7761  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: STARTING A SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: July 15, 2017, 10:01:32 AM
Hello everyone. i am quiet new here can someone place teach me how to start a signature campaign. especially how to place an ad on my signature. it seems to not working out for me

To be accepted in a signature, you meant. Well, on this all you have to do is WAIT. Wait for campaigns that accept your rank and then apply. If your posts have quality you will be accepted provided you fall within the number of posters wanted. But before all this happens, I will advise you to improve your post quality.
7762  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: July 15, 2017, 07:19:54 AM
Which is the best way to promote products or refferal links? Social media and forums is total shit,no one interested in this.

I wonder why you would say social media and fora are a total shit as means of promoting products. This isn't true. Except OP is considering Hawking, otherwise social media has been shown to have a wider reach in product advertisement. With Facebook alone, the advertiser can have an idea of the expected reach of his products to prospective customers based on how much he the advertiser is willing to pay for such a reach.
7763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: July 15, 2017, 02:43:46 AM
Choose the coin have a good volume if you are not newbie on trading search the altcoin that have good to trade for long or short trade like bitsend, ether, dash, litecoin, and many more the i coins my mention are good to trade.

Even if a Newbie, the above advice suffices. It's the truth when it comes to trading. Volume, liquidity and stability are key factors to consider when pickinh a coin to trade. For me, I will quickly add that it's preferable to choose from the first 20 coins on the list of the coinmarket.com site.
7764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one should prevail? The Bitcoin developer or the miner? on: July 14, 2017, 10:18:41 AM
neither of them. bitcoin should prevail.
miners are the "equipment owners" who have invested money in a business called bitcoin mining to make profit. easily replaceable.
developers are knowledgeable programmers maintaining the code, bug fixing, and improving things. since bitcoin is open source they are also replaceable (not easily though).

but bitcoin is what remains. and must prevail. and people are investing in bitcoin because of what they see bitcoin is and what they can do with it, not because they see miners or developers.

I quite agree with you. The good of Bitcoin should prevail above the dev and miners. If there is anything that dissatisfies and grieves me much, it's the slow confirmation and backlog of transactions that have now become second nature to bitcoin.

Whollistically speaking, I think on the other hand that the devs hold the sceptre because without them miners won't have any Bitcoin transactions to process.
7765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The 10 Oldest Altcoins on: July 14, 2017, 07:17:33 AM
How old is doge?

December 08, 2013

Really that old? Yet it is still struggling far below 0.0001btc. I sincerely wish the price hikes to the moon for I hold an appreciable number of coins here...Lol...Selfish me, right? By the way why is XRP still not minable?
7766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at Exchanges on August 1 on: July 14, 2017, 04:44:20 AM
The August 1 thingy is causing unnecessary panic if you asked me. I think the date will come and go just like the year 2000 when it was rumored that all computers would run haywire and the world would come to an end.  Year 2000 came and went without hassles. So shall August 1 come and go without much ado with the crypto world. I strongly believe this and I am leaving my coins in my exchanges. I will likely trade on the said day if potential coins for profit are spotted.
7767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DASH coin? on: July 14, 2017, 03:32:52 AM
It really amused me till date how Dash rose speedily within few months. On 23/12/2016, one Dash was $9.82 but today (even though it has fallen in the past few days), one Dash is $167.77. Of course Dash wasn't the only altcoin that took a frog leap in the coinmarket. But its steady price increase is a good indication to trade it. However, I think it may still fall a bit more before going up again. I don't think now is the right time to buy that coin for keeps, expect one wants to trade it for the little corrections.
7768  Economy / Services / Re: Target Coin | Signature and Avatar Campaign | [CFNP] on: July 13, 2017, 11:10:25 AM

I confirm receipt of payment today. Thank you campaign manager.
7769  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending upto 1 BTC on: July 13, 2017, 09:38:16 AM
I don't want to quickly judge the guy as this is how I also started on the forum. My first ever post was my old lending thread. Anyway just to point out a few things to op,

1. People criticizing here have a valid point as there is really a paranoia around here about every body scamming everybody, hence the proofs and safety requirements
2. I agree with LoyceV, a signed message from an address where your 1 BTC is located would be appropriate
3. "fb profile link" as a requirement is totally against the very foundations of bitcoins, it is likely you are pretty new to everything here
4. What the hell is a registration fee? The point people are borrowing money is because they need money right now and they don't have money to pay a fee.
5. To ensure smooth operation, offer that you accept escrow for the collateral your borrowers are giving

Actually, I was wondering what that on number four meant. Holding on to that would mean like someone paying money to an owner of a company just to secure a job in the same establishment. Now OP, the proof of good conscience lies on you to demonstrate that you aren't planning to scam anyone here.
7770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm panicking, tell me it will be OK... on: July 13, 2017, 08:23:21 AM
If you've been really trading for more than a year, you should definitely know that this drop is only going to be temporary

I've watched a few $100 drops before, but a few things are different this time:

A) I never held enough for it to affect me too much
B) My alt bags used to pump when BTC dropped
C) This is REALLY starting to feel like a bubble

It's the last one that killed me as I'm not sure how the bursting of said bubble would affect my bags long term.

With that said, I think it's a mistake to assume BTC will do nothing but rise in the future.

Yes, it was a huge error of thought on your part to have reasoned that way. Every businessman makes  provision for loss such as what you are experiencing now. It's part of business and a crucial part of profit making/sharing. It shouldn't be all rosy at all time. Even with the current position of the cryptos, it is most likely the coins will further depreciate till the end of July.
7771  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: July 12, 2017, 05:33:44 PM
If USD. Fell it will definitely affect bitcoin because currently bitcoin is being equated with dollars and others major world currency. Dollar is the major currency in the world and when ever there is nagative effect on it every other things of values also feel the infect. Though as a bitcoiner I wish bitcoin become maintream in future.

Bitcoin is depending it's value to US dollar so I'm sure that it will affect bitcoin's value, market and all of us who are depending to bitcoin's market. It's a fact that dollar is one of the major, most powerful and influential currency in the world. And almost all major countries are depending on it.

I am not really sure about this assertion that the collapse of the dollar will affect btc price because of its dependency on the American dollar. I strongly believe that the fall of the American dollar will boost the strength of Bitcoin. Of course I know the dollar tops all other currencies because it's more internationally recognized ahead of others like the Euro, pounds and Yen. But that does not mean that its fall would drag other currencies or the Bitcoin down. It will only make the Bitcoin shift focus to other major currencies.
7772  Economy / Services / Re: 3$/hour - work needed on: July 12, 2017, 03:02:29 PM
Perhaps, you too didn't read the starting post to understand OP already explored Signature Campaign for his friend.
You're a fucking idiot.

I don't think (neither would any sane person) pointing your attention to what is in the OP should become a ground for your insult and name calling. You obviously in your haste to make your post count didn't bother to read the OP. However, I will not humour you with a response because you don't deserve one. People like you who throw insults at people they don't know except on social media only display their level of inferiority complex.
7773  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: July 12, 2017, 01:57:29 PM
I encountered a lot of clothes site or online shop from Facebook but I cannot seen clothes shop who accepts bitcoin in exchange of their product. Moreover in this time I cannot use my bitcoin in exchange of any goods or products. Because bitcoin value now was still growing up and I think it's good for all users.
as i personally never purchase clothes online or using bitcoin, but i am sure that there must be so much shops who may be selling clothes and they may be accepting bitcoin as payment method.

Till date I still wonder why shops find it difficult accepting Bitcoins since it's a common knowledge it is referred to as the number one virtual currency and a leader in the pack of cryptos. Of course, I know there are still some grey areas about Bitcoin and other cryptos that people really dont understand and that could be a hindrance in the level of acceptability for the coins. Thus, some people don't really know if Bitcoin is an asset or a true fiat.
7774  Economy / Services / Re: 3$/hour - work needed on: July 12, 2017, 04:45:03 AM
If he don't have ane skills, just give him btctalk account here and join signcamp. I think its the best idea so far.

Read the OP and you will find out WHERE he said he gifted his friend a Jr. Member account so he could join a signature campaign. So, stop spamming the forum.

Signature Campaign is a good option

Let's play a drinking game.  Take a shot for every post after this where someone suggests a sig campaign for this guy.

Have a toast!   To the father,  son, and HOLY SHIT POST!!

Perhaps, you too didn't read the starting post to understand OP already explored Signature Campaign for his friend.
7775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin on: July 11, 2017, 03:49:43 PM
This is the question to all who have at least one bitcoin and did not bought it. How long did it actually took you to own one bitcoin?
Only to people who accumulate bitcoin with either services, or earn through signature campaigns etc.
Asking because I'm interested in knowing the average time to make one bitcoin?

When I started here in this forum, I thought I could earn as much as one Bitcoin a month. But nah, that's a pipe dream I have come to discover that. It's a tall order trying to make that much with signature campaign except it's from CMs here with multi campaigns.
7776  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: July 11, 2017, 09:38:00 AM
Forex is the world where my imagination stops and I don’t trust the reality. I zip lock my wallet and keep it away in secured location that is unknown to me as well. Yes I don’t like forex and it is the easiest way to loose your money.

Yes, this can really happen if one doesn't have any requisite knowledge about forex trading before going into it, especially if one delves into it with the sole aim of making money without learning the ropes. However, people do make money from trading forex. Of course, it controls over one trillion of dollars on daily basis. There's much money to be made from it the same way there's much to lose from it too.
7777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about local crypto-currencies? on: July 11, 2017, 08:18:04 AM
Do they make sense?
Israeli blockchain start-up Colu launched a new e-currency in East London for the local economy, according to Crowdfundinsider.

I see it as an exercise in futility and the reason is simple. Anybody coming into crypo currency comes for bitcoin and when they are able to understand that its because of the control government has not been able to get is what necessitates their own crypto currency, there are no two ways than to dump it. And for those who are already involved would not drop the freedom bitcoin gives for anything else.

Exactly a waste of space and time. One wonders what self pride can cause and throwing these devs into an exercise in futility by creating local cryptos that won't really stand the test of time. Bitcoin and a few cryptos have an aura of universality. And this has enabled it wide range of acceptability.
7778  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: July 11, 2017, 04:55:07 AM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyer to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?

I would be lying if I told you I hadn't thought about this thing OP pointed out. Death is inevitable and most times comes when least expected. It doesn't select age before it visits. For me, I really haven't taken any measure to guard against this inevitability even though I am a married guy. My wife knows a bit about Bitcoin but doesn't pay it any attention. So, I am left alone in the game. That means I should begin to plan on something soon that would safeguard my satoshis in terms of any demise.
7779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: July 10, 2017, 12:23:12 PM
Often see some bounty post, how can I do to get free and have the potential coins, for example, in the bittalkcoin this forum on their product post, what is the request for my account? Activity quantity

I guess you made this post while you were still a Newbie. Of course there aren't much campaigns for Newbies. But as a Jr Member you may find campaigns accepting your rank. Check here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.60
7780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Illuminati on: July 10, 2017, 05:57:15 AM
I just went through the article and videos about Illuminati how rule the world. One thread speaks Etherum is created  by Illuminati in Reddit. Guys you cannot get more information about in Google search also even wiki speaks blind view about them.

If the information about Bitcoin being linked to Illuminati and all that hogwash aren't found on Google then it isn't a fact. It should be jettisoned and thrown into the bin where it rightly belong for the THRASH it is!
