IMO, in the crypto community, the best way to run a poker site is freeroll. And it needs lots of time to be a big poker house, maybe half a year or longer.
Why? As I said, if a poker site is only attracting freerollers, they will never make any money. For a site to survive, let alone thrive, they need to attract real money players who are willing to deposit and spend time playing games that the site can rake. If the site is, at best, raking their own money back they will shutter in months. It's happened time after time after time. When a site is only catering to freerollers, what do you think happens when people who are willing to deposit come in and take a look around? They see the bad software (which 95% of the users don't care about because they are playing for fun), they see nobody playing for anything other than freeroll stakes, and they leave. There isn't even an incentive for them to stick around and try to game start because all of the marketing capital is spent running freerolls. Exactly my point, Freerolls can be really profitable for the players for they don't have anything to lose but if a Site has only players who are interested in playing Freerolls than sooner or later it will go bankrupt. Which is why I said that a site should only allow freerolls to players who are active and participate in ring games too. And Poker sites especially don't have that much profit margin like dice or other gambling sites do because players are not playing against the site but with each other. thank you all for all your inputs.
i have nothing against freeloaders but, as a poker player i hate to see websites getting shut down just because there are no cash game players. we all need to take into consideration that the website needs to make some profit otherwise it will just shut down, sooner or later.
Yup, A poker site can't only survive on freeloaders, they need genuine players who are interested in playing poker and are not their just to get the freebies. not all poker players are freeloaders for freerolls, most might be a freeloader but not all, and also the freerolls can be considered as an advertising to try out a site, higher prize pool will attract a lot more players for the free rolls, this can actually be countered by making minimum wagering before entering a free rolls tournament |

Well, I think were getting close to a conclusion. Hopefully we can get paid. I will be satisfied even I get 50 % cut. This doesnt mean , I approve Chris's attitude along the 3 months. I don't plan to introduce BTC again. Last time it really got out of hand. I don't want to be holding huge amounts of value for other people. It's scary. I said recently in the chat that I won't be opening for BTC again. That's overstating it since I'm not certain about that, but it's probably true. So why was this reopened with CLAM? Why wasn't the reopening announced? Why add only CLAM and not BTC?
CLAM is cheap, and widely distributed. It's easy to get hold of, and many people already have it. BTC is expensive and an easy target for thieves. I didn't announce the reopening because I wanted a small, self-selected crowd to test it. There have been a small but loyal bunch of people hanging around the site ever since it shut down. It makes sense that they would be the most tolerant of the frequent restarts and even bugs that were likely to be part and parcel of the switch over to CLAM. Does the site shut down again if a CLAM/USD exchange opens up?
No. from the quote above it seems that dooglus got no intention to use BTC back, i might be wrong, but aslong as CLAMS are doing fine, it seems like the site will keep on using CLAMS, that 5% odds isnt something from dooglus i guess |

At the end it is also a question of rank, because a newbie doesn't know all the forum yet and he may be in difficult to moderate it (that's obvious). People like full member and above have a high chance respect the other low ranks (this is only a personal opinion).

I would like to see an autobet function. Everything else seems fine to me so far  Honestly i never understood autobet or using bots to bet, what is the purpose of it? Is not gonna make you have more chances of winning and it takes the fun away so i really dont see its point. there is an autoroll function in the site? Tried the site 2 months ago and there is an autoroll feature, the purpose of autobet is to save you time from clicking or rather you can always play even when you are busy, I got no fun clearly rolling hi/lo in dice sites, i always leave my autobet to function whenever im in a dice sites and chat while the autobet is on The autobet wont win money for you, it still has the same odds so again no point. of course it wont, the chance stays the same even if you are rolling with autobet or either click roll by yourself, i bolded the main function of it, autobet isnt there to win you some money, it is clearly to help you to play on the site |

Perhaps you should consider open up a discussion about this
I currently found flaw in your system
1. There is slight chance that your account can be sell to another user
2. There is a chance that account will be use to scam, as newbie tend to trust higher rank user
3. Even if you put up a notice that the account is under rent to "X" user, this will disclose the info of the user, thus the chance to be accepted in a sig campaign will be reduce since a sig campaign usually take up only 1 bitcointalk account, ( most of them )

If he scams ill keep the deposit ( same thing when someone sell an account to somebody and then he scams ) Nothing u can do... And for signature campaign u are right, might dont need to write that the account is under rent. Regards.
