If not a trader the best thing to do is to keep buying more while you can. Cost averaging will do the thing.

That's the best strategy for not traders to acquire more bitcoins.
7782  Economy / Gambling / Re: Covid 19 Promotion! on: May 19, 2020, 01:15:24 PM
Sounds great, but promos are not belonged to this forum, unfortunately.  Shocked
Yes.

Members do create the promotion and as long as you're on the topic and right section. But, if it's something crazy, a scam and fishy, many will step in and warn people.

But the discourtesy of the name of the promotion made everyone come here.
7783  Other / Off-topic / Re: Decentralization of domain names on: May 19, 2020, 12:57:41 PM
I don't know much about Tor web, but isn't it the Internet 2? That is decentralized?
You can read the history of how it started.

--> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(anonymity_network)
7784  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the future of the internet? on: May 19, 2020, 12:26:27 PM
The internet will last forever and ever.blockchain and internet will dominates the world, internet will become the number one necessity to oir lives.
How about bitcoin? you don't see it dominate with internet for the upcoming years?

I'm not saying about lasting forever but domination for the years that we're about to face.
7785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: May 19, 2020, 11:33:55 AM
I heard that day traders and scalpers are so effective that they significantly effect the market.  Also the mechanics of trading is a little different.  Those that are long term holders essentially ride everything out but other go with leverage and can gain or loose alot.  In some way if I wanted to gamble significant amounts, like over 10k, I would do it with leveraged trading over normal gambling.  Also I've seen youtube videos of gambling strategies used on trading, and it looks good.
That goes and effective for traders but gamblers don't do it the same as traders.

In gambling, there are the multipliers that can also be compared to leverage and I guess every single thing that traders and gamblers do have similarities in process and methods.
7786  Other / Off-topic / Re: Decentralization of domain names on: May 19, 2020, 10:43:17 AM
The Internet isn't decentralized.

I think one example of it could be the Kim Dotcom case.

Bitcoin is decentralized but uses the internet.

 Huh
Yes but that doesn't mean that bitcoin is centralized.

The technology behind and its consensus algorithm makes it decentralized.
7787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: May 19, 2020, 10:15:18 AM
Casters who joined the in-game lobby and streaming somewhere (mostly in twitch) should have no delay.
I usually watch the stream that's displayed on liquipedia's page.

They don't have a delay because they are the official casters. Others that's finding it hard to look for a real-time gameplay could also watch on them.
7788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possible to Manipulate bitcoin price?? on: May 19, 2020, 09:47:43 AM
As the other markets too.

Usual markets do have this manipulation and in bitcoin, we all assume that there is but in the traditional markets, there's a regulation that they are following whilst in bitcoin's, there's none.

Can we do something with that? we just ride them.
7789  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning on phishing] Hackers are too active in these lockdown times on: May 19, 2020, 09:13:46 AM
They are reinventing and investing in domain emails. These scammers will keep doing what they can just to scam people. The rampant phishing emails and extortion emails only show that these scammers are non-stop working during this time.

This is what we can do, to warn each and everyone so that whenever they receive an alike email, they can ignore and delete it forever.
7790  Other / Off-topic / Re: voice messaging on bitcointalk on: May 19, 2020, 08:45:52 AM
I haven't seen any too that's why SMF shall remain the way it is.

I think the voiced feature is mainly used for your direct contact, this is a forum and this is the standard of most forums.
7791  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any experience with DaoPay? on: May 19, 2020, 08:09:10 AM
There's no one that's answering you because probably the majority doesn't even hear of it.

I have not seen any thread regards to daopay.

7792  Other / Off-topic / Re: Social media marketing expert advise on: May 19, 2020, 07:39:45 AM
Guys, besides marketing what are the best ways to boost your business? I was recommended to read about salesforce demand in market and about the company in general since they are experts in IT and they can consult and develop various things. Is it a good idea to hire them?
I guess that you are one of them. Market research is part of marketing and it's probably one of most important things that a team needs to do to market their products and services.

This what most companies usually do, they hire an outsourced marketing company to do the marketing job for their company.
7793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best platform to practice poker on: May 18, 2020, 08:17:31 PM

Ok, so that's how to install that game.

How long you've been playing the droidhen? because I've just heard it when you have introduced it. Does it also accept crypto?

I started to play that game when in the year 2012. I look for zynga poker before but the graphics looks poor for me. In my country, I am using a wallet just in paying my purchases. I just transferring my BTC to my e-wallet (called gcash) then I buy some chips. I don't think so if it accept BTC or other cryptos.
Oh, so that's how long they've been operating.

I see that it has to be converted first before getting some chips. Not bad but someday if they start announcing the acceptance of bitcoin, that would be great for their platform.
7794  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halvings impact on Bitcoins price on: May 18, 2020, 07:49:37 PM
The halving impact may not happen in this year, it may need a year or more to come! If you check the history about the two past halvings, you will see halving impact did not happen in the same year!  Right now Bitcoin price seems stable at 9K area, but I expect to end this year by seeing Bitcoin at 14-15K USD at least! And anytime in 2021, I expect a bull run which will hit the ATH in Bitcoin price!
I'm also following the same pattern.

But this time, it looks like it's moving base from what we are not expecting and it's gaining the strength that we usually see when it rises. More of next year is given by most of us here and thinking of how low key it is for this year.
7795  Other / Off-topic / Re: GTA V free on Epic games until May 21 on: May 18, 2020, 07:20:15 PM
Just a few more days until the free game expires.

A huge volume came in that made the rockstar launcher faced sort of problem.
7796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LOST $176 ETH BECAUSE OF BLOCKCHAIN !! on: May 18, 2020, 06:40:52 PM
It's the same as this question --> https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/2045/is-ethereum-wallet-address-case-sensitive

To save time and energies, it's better you talk with pdax support. since blockchain.com has only sent ethereum in the right way, to the right address.
This is the thing that you have to do first, the sender wallet doesn't have anything to do with this because it's already confirmed. Some exchange receivers wallet might delay the appearance of received balance, maybe it's a bug from them or so. State the problem to that exchange receiver since they are the provider of your wallet.
7797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello guys, Help I'm new here. on: May 18, 2020, 06:07:19 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk.

The only thing that I can add is that whenever you are confused with something, ask it properly and sure you'll get the help and get your questions answered by people here.

I can't find any review about your platform in google. It seems that none had try it yet.
That's right because the platform was just made this April 2020.

a habit that I often do everyday is work while playing and also do new activities that are interesting to me.
How to do this and what's the nature of your work? I assume that you are working freely and you don't have a certain schedule, as long as you finish your job, you're good and that's why you can play and work at the same time.

Is that right?
7800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: May 18, 2020, 04:12:21 PM
There are many who do not like gambling I think if you don't know how to gamble well you are more likely to lose here However, there are many professional traders who do not see gambling as a means of entertainment but as a means of earning money.
They should be the professional gamblers. Trading is compared to gambling but it's not really like it.

The higher the profit the greater the loss Many would have left the game if they hadn't made money from now on Its main purpose is to make money.
Technically, the more comes back when they've lost more because of the chase and getting back those lost bets.
