Hello gentlemen! Been away most of today but imagine my surprise seeing this gem creep up on one of my forays into Club Talk's special offers tab: Brett Lee BJ special;) Hit his very first 11/1 special, so followed a few more, wonder if that hit?
Tonight's Soccer Blackjack match sees Barca try get revenge over Getafe.
I've decided to put in a tiny bit more than I usually do for this one, just to spice my life up a bit. Got a feeling. And we all need to see toma's gif before that guy goes crazy, no?

Now I don't want to hype up that thing people call defi but there is a lot to be said about Automated Market Makers... As they seem to have solved the problem of order books which is or was the downfall of dexes like Counterparty (I try not to remind myself of it but heh).
I can't speak to how secure their implementations are but some sidechains seem to be revving some talk...

Perez followed up and he really needs better PR advisors. Their Sunday announcement was ill advised. And now his response post abortive first attempt equally ineffective, if not harmful to his cause.
At the same time he does bring up fair points. Young people are watching less football, or rather, no longer watching clubs they were brought up in.
But he is wrong to think ESL will fix that. It was to some extent the era of galacticos that moulded youth to only want to see superstars on superstages. You help build the monster, now help heal it, not just feed it.

Nice hit toma. And yeah morvillz, just saw also Watford got a boost from the results of the other pretenders.
Was 7/1 for them to top Championship I still remember. Nice payout for loads of Hornets fans.
Am a bit incapacitated at moment as no internet so can't really place bets or even look at games. Hope to be proper back on weekend... Enjoy people.

The chart is bullish and might be for a few more months however lately with everything going on with DeFI, Doge, BSC Chain, TikTok kids turning $100 into $10 million. It really makes it seem we are near the end of the bull market, at least for non-bitcoin pairs. There is just way too many people making money these days.
Usually when you hear about bitcoin almost everyday in your daily life. Always some co-worker or some person on the street talking about it. It usually means we are near the top. Look at how high leverage the futures market is. We had a dip and over $10B was liquidated almost instantely and we still have an OI over >$20B.
Lots of money is still pouring in, tether prints in the Billions happening every few days here and there.
It does seem like this is a little bit different from past cycles in the sense that these tiktok kids ignored the last ones and went in deep in this, and strange to say, hardly any of them actually got into Bitcoin! That one still sees old buyers and old money carrying most of the weight. Dogecoin, NFT, farming and what not idiotic hype. Not angry or upset, fair play. But this is a very diverse crowd riding this current wave. They're not done yet either.

Given that the MAJORITY in the BTC game are low-IQ (the buyers), and have about $1,000 to invest, they're buying DOGE & friends
Real Privacy coins is the future of CRYPTO, otherwise just buy Tether or some other synthetic USD.
Agree that privacy is the future, but I actually believe that will still be an aspect Bitcoin will have with Taproot etc... the scalability issue's moved on and most development now is on precisely that (privacy). Never considered myself high IQ or anything but I'm still ready to plonk spare $1000s into Bitcoin all the time. DOGE and alts is always a luxury of chance I can't afford.

FULL TIME Push with a 16.
Not sure if happy or relieved it didn't hit cause I missed today... I just saw Ings scored, pity they couldn't hold it. @icopress. I've only missed two of these to my recollection, three actually including today as am on the move constantly and only because wasn't online or available. And each of these times I'm thinking "if this is the day, where was I and why wasn't I?". @toma I'll gif-challenge you one of these days.

Took a small withdrawal yesterday evening from a service, using the lowest possible fee, just out of curiosity. Ended up being a 21 sat/byte effective fee, and saw it was approximately 100k in queue of close to 200k. Blockchair estimation. Haven't been that far behind the queue since some time last year!
Will just wait it out, no rush at all. Nice experiment. Didn't think it'd happen again but next adjustment in about a week should start clearing things up.
Well, if you really wanted to save up some BTC you might want to get used to it and make sure you don't really need the money yet because it's a long waiting game. I've tried this before and it's stressing when you really needed the money but now, I'm making plans how to deal with this waiting game while making a low fees trades. It took me a week though to finally received the coins and converted it to fiat. You see, this is the problem when Bitcoin is in the bull run more people are trading during the ATH that's why the transaction fees is quite high. Oh yeah, I made the transaction fully prepared to wait, as I do all my txs. I generally even spending from my own wallet do 1 sat/byte fees no matter what, if I don't need the spend immediately. It's been a really long time since I had to wait for days, so am pretty curious to see how long this one takes. Besides, with RBF it's not a pain to up the fee if needed. Only I can't do anything about this since it's from a service.

I can get on with tranthidung... All models break eventually, some more useful than others. Even the original stock to flow model was adjusted at least once already that I know of, probably going through a few more adjustments if PlanB would like it to remain relevant.
Never really been a fan myself. Prefer tobe as skeptical as possible and be happily surprised.
82k by May isn't so crazy though.

YES. That's very annoying. At first, I thought that he was a huge Bitcoin supporter, but then he started with all these inconsistent posts and bs, like that investing in Bitcoin wasn't his idea in the first place, he's only an engineer and has nothing to do with the investment team, and then with Doge. I used to believe him, but now I'm starting to see how he tries to manipulate things, and that's disappointing ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) But why is it annoying? Everyone seemed to be pretty chuffed when he hyped it up, and then got mad when he said it was overpriced, and then etc etc. It's social media, it's Twitter. McAfee had his day, Musk is having many days, we all know it's just nonsensical rubbish right? If we don't, we probably deserve to get ruined. At least it'll be an expensive lesson we won't soon forget, right? Don't be disappointed in him, just wise up and see the world for what it is.

The 4-3-Free promo, is it a daily thing or weekly? I suppose nobody was able to collect more than 2 correct picks, certainly not with zero goals and just three total corners. lol
Yeah I got 2 points haha, actually thought Brighton would win and all 3 corners came from them! I thought it was weekly actually, but I see a new one right now already available -- and it's another Big Six clash for our friends at Soton. I went with Spurs this time, I'm probably going to end up betting on Saints but maybe I'll use this 4-3-Free as a sort of hedge;) Thanks for the Blackjack reminder too, I really did forget.

Coln were good for me last season but they've been playing their worst football in a long time. Back them tonight for some home respite?
Damn, you got it right. I was sure Leipzig is winning this one but I also missed some tennis earlier so I am glad at least you cashed in ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Keep up your game man I have a feeling you are much better in getting value from these underdogs than playing x5 multi bets. Thanks man! Leipzig did dominate, but yeah, right after equalising, they fell behind immediately -- seen it happen to Liverpool far too often in my lifetime. The curse of the attacking team. And thanks! Yeah, I think if I look back, most of my profits are from these singles, and it's even more pleasurable when you see the odds drop was more just before match (this game I saw was even 5.4x just before kickoff). Plus if not for insurance, I'd be down a lot more from parlays. Problem is the boosts on accas are so tasty! Looking at Villa later but want to see if I can squeeze out 10/1 (currently 8.4). I feel a bit dumb for taking Spurs, Milan and BVB who are all capable to lose even, but hey. Meanwhile, boosted insured, Inter HT, BVB, Sevilla, Milan, Spurs to WIN @15.54. 14.76 Units advantage: 78 Running advantage after 314 bets: +21,481 (+78) All-time cumulative: +59,039 Running units after 313 bets (391W|264L): +10,378 (+694)

Ordinary people in China have never stopped investing in Bitcoin, they just needed to replace centralized crypto exchanges with decentralized ones or turn to the p2p way of buying and selling. For the Chinese government, all these years, bans on crypto trading have not affected mining too much, nor has it affected the production of mining devices that are exported worldwide.
Indeed. One only needs to look on WeChat and ask nicely in one of the Telegram groups for an invite to see hundreds... literally hundreds... of P2P networks to trade crypto, and hundreds more to get into crypto on ICOs and IEOs and NFTs and what not. Been looking at new projects listing after being in sleeper mode for the past couple of years. They've tapped China markets in a big way and they're not regretting it. Marketing and localisation services for the Far East are also the most expensive in the market now. Tells you a lot about the (non) effect of any bans on crypto.

Watford leading 1-0 in a top 2 clash. Norwich of course have nothing but the title to fight for with guaranteed qualification and Hornets need 3 more wins to guarantee the same. Didn't pick them at 3/1, but maybe I prevented myself from jinxing them heh. Love to see Brighton get something tonight after we messed up last night. I don’t see it if I’m honest though. Imagine Lallana pops up with a late winner ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) You said everything I feel my man... as usual felt rotten all day because of last night but I'll be somewhat more cheerful if the Blues also make a misstep. Seems like other than the top 2, everyone's falling over themselves to throw away points. Can't help but feel like Super League talk threw Klopp off last night. Or I'm looking for an excuse when there is none. #pray4lallana

Instead of being pessimistic about what's happening in the market right now, why don't we just pay attention on monitoring the price pattern of bitcoin? Maybe it wouldn't go that way always but at some point, you can use that price movement to determine what can happen next with your holdings. Also, we need to remember how frequent bitcoin's value has gone up and as such things keeps on occuring, correction will surely take place to stabilize bitcoin and avoid seeing it lose control. Soon, bitcoin will stabilize once again or might even go up, so let us just have faith and believe that everything will soon become alright.
Instead of paying attention, why not encourage OP and others like him to keep on selling? Every purge strengthens the floors for us, delays the climb and firms up the charts. I mean, I'm actually somewhat disappointed by the dump/bears, if this is what it takes and this is all it gives, really, I am not entertained. If only they started using more reputable accounts too. I swear, quality of FUD has really gone to the dogs.

Man you guys are way too fast. Slowpoke me typing out stuff and as I submit, I see your alert out already. Guess I'm not the only one looking to try and get some payback for all those busts, eh?
5/1 for Brighton. Won't be the first time Chelsea lose against those kind of odds. If they play anything like they did against City, should be a comfortable 3 points though!

Well, staking coins I have are DOT, ETH, and ADA. Right now I only stake DOT though, but plan on doing the others soon.
DOT seems complicated to stake just from what I've heard, I haven't even researched it yet, and it (along with some trading profit) is what I'll be living off of starting next month now that my savings in the bank have run out, so I want it to be easily unstaked and sold with a few clicks of a button whenever I want so I just stake it on an exchange. Not the safest thing since I have a ton of DOT, but major exchanges seem a lot safer these days than a few years ago.
ADA sounds fairly easy to stake yourself, I still need to research it but probably in the next month I plan to get into that and try moving my ADA off-exchange and staking it myself.
ETH is currently nearly all in my own wallet but I will probably move it to an exchange soon to stake. I can't stake it myself because you have to be online to stake (and actually I think it's the same for DOT so I wouldn't be able to stake DOT myself anyways) and I don't have any way to keep a system running always online with my traveling lifestyle.
So yeah while I keep my Bitcoin in cold storage in my own addresses, and that is the vast majority of my money, for staking I feel pretty comfortable doing it on-exchange at major, regulated, secure exchanges, especially since I literally am unable to keep a staking node running due to my lifestyle.
Ah, right, thanks. So you haven't actually used any of those so-called cross chain networks to "wrap" your Bitcoin and stake that instead, then. I might have made my question clearer as this is what I was trying to see if people are already doing more (I know Bitcoin wrapped TVL is growing but I'm pretty certain it hasn't come from "proper" Bitcoin holders). Far as I know, these aren't proper stakes in the sense we understand them, no need to be online as a validator or part of one, more like locking into smart contracts. I get the attraction, trust a network instead of an exchange, but as I said, I don't exactly trust these networks any more than I do the exchanges!

Not as sorry as I am ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Would've made the rest of the competitions a lot more exciting had they been able to get past Chelsea. No idea why Pep didn't field the strongest team. I don't buy the 'tired' excuse. It's not like they've got anything super-important for a bit as the PL is practically in the bag. Winning the quadruple should be something any top manager should aspire to especially as it hasn't been done before and I don't think they've been in a better position to do so than right now. Yeah, same criticism as Klopp last season I think, even though I guess he knows best. Trebles and Quads don't come often for most teams, though I've to say City seem to be fighting for it many seasons now. Maybe he really, like Klopp, wanted something in the bag (for him CL, for Klopp it was the 30-yr EPL drought) which I totally get but precisely, with the title more or less won, could surely afford to risk more with such squad depth. Think any manager that does it will have statues in the city.
