2017 Q4: Access to exchanges: Cryptopia, Evercoin and Coinexchange

What about other biggest exchanges?

They will come in some time. But it is good that they already making arrangements for exchanges. By the way, even if they make a deal with bittrex or poloniex they can't announce it because of their own rules.

Thanx, I was asking about exchanges. But this is road map and not really an announcement right?
And what rules are you referring to? Is it not allowed to announce being listed on an exchange?
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DAO PlayMarket 2.0 - App Store based on the blockchain and smart contracts on: November 04, 2017, 06:04:21 AM

I just watched the explainer video and I like the main advantages of this platform; lower fees (I didnt know google charged 30% for developers Huh) and uncensored platform because its decentralized. Last but not least, dividend to token holders! Sounds amazing!

Watch this video, https://youtu.be/QYjyfCt6gWc only 1.17 minutes and not boring

I saw a documentation about the problems of small cafes and restaurants. They have to pay high fees for the use of card terminals etc. So some of them only accept cash, but that means less clients. Maybe this project could solve the problem  Smiley

I'll tell you more. Business owners hate credit cards here

Pay crypto and save 10% How do you like it?

That is an awesome idea! Pay crypto and save 10% But I got this feeling that restaurant owners would not want crypto, because of the price changes. Maybe in the future they will

I guess the progress bar is still not working. I hope they can fix it soon, it doesnt really look professional imo. Good to hear that the soft cap is reached!
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: November 04, 2017, 05:24:24 AM
SOMA needs your help!

There were a lot of questions about the tokens and what will be burned and what not.
We told we would hold a liquidity reserve to support the smooth functioning of the SOMA platform. We were thinking about 10% of the unsold tokens.

For the moment nothing is created, so there is no liquidity reserve.
We think this reserve would help any liquidity problems with the SCT to support smooth fuctioning of the SOMA platform. If investors hold on there SCT we think there should be a problem with the liquidity. So with this reserve, users can still buy SCT after ICO to be used on the platform, this will not be at ICO price.

The devs have decided to listen to our great community.
We will consider based on the feedback if the liquidity reserve will be created or not.

So please give us a well argumented feedback on what you think its best for SOMA and his future.
We will listen to you guys.

Assuming that the platform will work well only if it will have enough liquidity, there's going to be a problem if most SCT are held in private addresses or in exchanges. So my feedback on this is yes , 10% of unsold tokens as liquidity reserve is ok.

I agree, if the platform works well, it should be ok to have a reserve of 10%. It can help in future.

With the volatility in the crypto market, I think its a good idea to have some kind of control over the tokens. If that can be done with a liquidity reserve, than I vote to keep the 10% of the tokens.

Fortunately, we already have Japan as a starting point, now we would go for Asia, the platform will be ready early, so the value of the token will rise fast, then consolidate and demand will be steady the more the platform is online, this will be really HUGE Cheesy.

SK Planet Japan is also active in Korea. But you may be underestimating the size of Japan. There are 127 million Japanese citizens. I do not know how many stores they have in total, but in this article 260,000 stores will accept Bitcoin. SK Planet has a network of 170,000 stores. So there are at least 90,000 more stores in Japan they can expand to.

Really excited to see how this will turn out in Japan. If it will be successful, Im sure this will also be huge for the crypto community.

etherdelta is easy to be list on, just a pull request is ok .  and the platform trading volume is good

Yes, ED is easy to listed. But I mean really nice exchanges - like Bittrex, or Poloniex at last  Roll Eyes

I can tell you that literally, every successful ICO has enough cash to list in the best exchanges in the market, the problem is not the money, but the approval of exchanges, they just don't list any stupid token, specially poloniex and bitfinex, they just put the ones that are a solid project, with teams and the such, bittrex has lower standards, but they still have them, regardless, the project will use exchanges that will take the less time at the beginning, while the best ones will be last, because they take their sweet time to list, even if you are secure the listing.

How do exchanges approve the listing? And do you think Playkey has the standards to be listed on the bigger exchanges?

I am impressed by the DAO Playmarket team, around 20 people with divers background. Their names are unique tho,  what country are you based?
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DAO PlayMarket 2.0 - App Store based on the blockchain and smart contracts on: November 03, 2017, 05:08:18 PM
I agree that the market that DAO Playmarket wants to be in, is a very competitive market. Not having a bounty campaign is a risky move. Hopefully, they have some other marketing strategies, otherwise the ICO competition is just too hard to compete in.

Are you also going to do food boxes in New York?

Why would this work better decentralized then centralized, since it will be local right? Not like some1 from Capetown can order a burger from New York

This question got me thinking, why decentralized indeed? Do you have any plans to expend in the future?

Restaurant owner will be much more decentralized from banks and government when his customer use cryptocurrency as a payment method

Ok, they are much more decentralized but what merit do they get from being decentralized? I mean, they still need to pay taxes etc.

Lower transactions costs, operational costs, increase quality of service. Discounts and bonuses for customers, loyalty programs.
When you review business project from real life you have to consider all aspects. Not only advantages from decentralization. Business owner don't care about decentralization at all. He think numbers - lower or higher. He think customers - happy or angry.
We made business model which is great for cryptocurrency. We are not on the technological edge of blockchain development. We want bring cryptocurrency to real people, to regular customers who don't know how to create crypto wallet

So if I understand correctly, the only benefit from being on a blockchain platform, is that you can accept cryptocurrency? That doesnt sound like you have a lot of advantages from your competitors. The only thing your competitors have to change in the future, is accepting cryptocurrency.

I had a look on your demo, it looks nice and convenient. What kind of cryptocurrencies will you be accepting? Are you also accepting fiat?

Is the counter broken? It still remains after 12hours on 19%.
They don't react to questions on the live chat. Very unprofessional.

Btw, I received my tokens.

I just get an answer from utrust : "The indicator is not in real-time. It has a delay"

I don't know how delayed it is but, the first day always the biggest funding gets. After the first day, it always gets slow so I think it is current status don't expect too much movement before segwit2x.

Actually, everything on coinmarketcap looks green now. I think bitcoinholders might want to invest, because a lot of people are expecting a dip.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: November 03, 2017, 11:41:46 AM

I see that SOMA's official partner Utrust is doing very well on their token sale. I want to suggest to SOMA to highlight this partnership, because Utrust has a good marketing campaign and as a partner, SOMA can also profit from this.

as you can see, the lack of marketing is not doing well for soma in comparison to utrusts marketing behaviour >< utrust meet the softcap within a day, even on hard times and soma is still crawling along the way ><"

in a sea of ICO, marketing makes all the difference. you can't just launch without a proper promotional plan

Yes you can see the ICO's with a good marketing plan, are selling more tokens. Especially if you want to become a social marketplace, you have to reach a lot of people

i dont really mind when is going to be listed, i will wait till the everything is properly launched before even thinking about it

Yes at this point, it doesnt matter on which exchange they are going to be listed, but I think many investors want to know this information.

SCAM warning!
There is a fake site called utrust .co m (i purposely didnt write the link correctly)

The real site is utrust.io

Please be carefull before you sent ETH to an ICO, scammers are always trying to trick you!

Yes this also happened to Datum and other ICOs. The scammers collected a lot of money from this. Please be very careful people! Double check before investing!

Besides from some articles about the partnership I dont see Utrust mention Soma on their website. Would be good if if they would help out their partner a bit more.

Yes I did see the small logo of Soma between all the other logo's, doesnt really count imo

they should leverage this partnership further. maybe utrust backers will also participate in SOMA ICO

What I would like to suggest is that Utrust can offer a bonus to their investors if they also want to invest in SOMA. That way, it would be very attractive for investors to participate in SOMA token sale

Is there a confirmation about listing of Gatcoin on the Coss exchange?

I checked their website https://exchange.coss.io but I could not find anything

Ive never heard of this exchange. Volumes seem low too. I would advise for Coins to try to get listed on small exchanges, they are exposing the GATcoin users to counterparty risks of the exchanges. Many small exchanges have disappeared over the years. Nevrr keep coins on exchanges people, especially small exchanges

Do you mean you would NOT advise for coins to get listed on small exchanges? What you are saying now doesnt make sense.
But I agree that holding your cryptocurrency on small exchanges is a bad idea. I would advise using a hardware wallet
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PLAYKEY: DECENTRALIZED CLOUD GAMING PLATFORM on: November 03, 2017, 07:58:08 AM
I see that the bonus in the token sale is almost over.
14 587 ETH raised
from 793 backers so far ($4 551 576)

Im afraid to ask this question, but what are backers?

it's not bad, hopefully it will be enough. All ICO's are going thru a rough patch due to the fork.

Backers are investors "backing" up the project. Often the term is used in "staking". the backer provides liquidity for the project. The project works their best to turn a profit. The backer gets part of that profit.

Thank you for your explanation. I was wondering why they were called backers and not just participants or investors. This makes sense though

Good news! Soft cap is almost reached. That means Utrust almost raised 10miljon USD with the token sale.

So does this mean that more people will invest, because now they know the project will continue?
