781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible there are altcoins costing more than BTC? on: February 02, 2020, 11:01:06 PM
Those coins are very far from bitcoin in terms of marketcap that 42 coin has only $353  volume what a joke coin. Look at the Circulating Supply 42 coin has 42 supply and wrapped bitcoin is 622. And be aware those coins are not trading as a whole coin for sure probably 0.0001 or lower  Cheesy they reach that price because of the low supply.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 02, 2020, 10:09:12 PM
In my country bitcoin name has been damage by this Ponzi scam website, ICO's scam, and a lot of other scams and they use bitcoin as a payment method. That is why if they heard of bitcoin some say it is a scam but they didn't get it as you say it is just like a dollar a digital money, a digital currency. Ignorance is dangerous. As an individual, I encourage my friends to watch some videos about bitcoins. For sure a time will come that everyone will be aware of cryptocurrency I am waiting for china and japan tokenizing their own national currency I think they are already planning and developing it.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: February 02, 2020, 09:36:03 PM
I don't really know now, it doesn't mean that they are paying for a while, they are legit, maybe if it exists for a long time? Recently I found a gambling site I knew last year that is working well they even have a Signature thread here on bitcointalk and they are paying but now suddenly they stop the service and many users are saying they can't withdraw their funds I don't know if they are turned scam or what I am waiting for accusation thread if someone does.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to secure your asset in forkdelta? on: February 02, 2020, 08:16:53 PM
I dont know how metamask to use and what those functions on this wallet because I hate installing apps or any apps extension in my chrome. I still prefer to use MEW for storing my tokens/coins that supported ERC20. Don't use your main portfolio or MEW wallet when you import your wallet in Fork Delta, create a new one and transfer the token that you wanted to trade in Fork Delta. Your private key in the main portfolio is totally safe and not linked any DEX sites.

I have been using Metamask for a while and I have no problem with it, it is really worth it to install this extension it functions like a ledger but not literally because hardware is more safer. With metamask you are safe with phishing. But your method is good In fact I have tried it too but sometimes your order at forkdelta is not filled that fast so it needs to stay there for a while and I am not comfortable logging in with private key even if it is newly created there are still risk, using metamask minimize the risk in the trading in Ethereum DEX.

@Everyone
Be careful in using forkdelta double-check everything before placing an order you might end up selling your tokens at a very low price, or buying at a very high price, it happens many times and some traders abruptly grab the chance and that trade cannot be reversed.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 02, 2020, 07:29:13 PM
It is really hard to say when is the right time, I think it is always right with the right project. As a newbie account here on Bitcointalk but maybe in other platforms you are not, you pick a decent altcoin but at the end of the day we are the one who will do the final decision. The majority of the altcoins are just sh*tcoins and they are competing to survive. I want to share some of my thoughts about altcoins with CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS(VISA) I think they are getting some attention right now and they are offering some cashback better than traditional CARDS. These platforms are getting bigger like crypto . com, Wirex, Swipe wallet. This is not a piece of advice I just want everyone who does not know about it to be informed, I guess they are cool.
786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: February 01, 2020, 06:33:19 PM
Thanks for the information, I just wanna share my inputs to this thread. I suggest not to try KYC with websites that do not have a third party KYC Service, having a third party service will make your mind at ease but of course, a reputable service just like Binance is using "Refinitiv" is decent one. A website that does not have this service or similar is suspicious and our data is in danger. Some bounties here on Bitcointalk only using a google form for KYC details that is very dangerous for us so don't you ever try it.
787  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If I want to explain to a 10 years boy.what is blockchain?How should I explain? on: February 01, 2020, 05:22:00 PM
It really depends on the child's understanding but If I were you I would compare blockchain to other things to make it easier to understand. Like in a classroom their teacher and classmate are blockchains they are connected to each other, why? Because they exchange data, distribute information, receive or send data by hearing and talking it is like communication. Their teacher records every quizzes and attendance just like blockchain, Every transaction you made is recorded and has transaction history. And all those things are being converted into computer technology at least a little idea will help this kid.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: January 30, 2020, 04:19:20 PM
As mentioned in the article only "illegal Casinos" those casinos that do not have a permit and license to operate, etc. Their fate is obviously very predictable either in jail or needed to pay a bunch of money for penalty and need to stop their operation. Legal Casinos, of course, will stay and continue running. I think Online casinos are much better for both owners and players, accessible anywhere and anytime.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Places To Hold Initial Coin Offerings on: January 30, 2020, 03:56:36 PM
Maybe are you referring to IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) because ICO's day are gone. The safest way to conduct an IEO is Binance but it as hard to launch an IEO there but if you're confident that your project is good why not there is no harm on trying. Look for top exchanges that conduct an IEO that's should be decent but of course, always review exchange reputation; https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges
790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 3 USD a day? Tips wanted. on: January 30, 2020, 02:53:04 PM
I cannot think of any task that fits member rank to earn 3 USD per day, maybe signature but it requires higher ranks, Full Member up. The common rate for Full Member is just $10 per week for signature, not even enough to make 3/day. Let's move to the next option by selling your skills and talents but I am afraid those types of jobs are freelance you cannot guarantee that you will have a client every week or month it is not stable. You better find a daily job in person and do some extra stuff on cryptocurrency as extra income.

792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remove the bad influencer from your life! on: January 28, 2020, 08:48:36 PM
You can't actually remove them they will always exist sometimes in a family, there is a black sheep. You can only do is ignore them and have your own perspective and plans. We are the ones who will make a decision in our life we can't allow others to make a decision for us. Do your own research so we can have enough knowledge and cannot be fool by fake news and fuds.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: January 28, 2020, 01:47:07 PM
Do you want to play and bet with your bank accounts, or Paypal? Not right? Some gamblers don't want to expose sensitive details and those platforms are costly and banks are not allowing gambling stuff they can freeze your account anytime which is scary unlike cryptocurrency no restriction you can join wherever you are with less fee and no banks intervention why is why most gambling platform uses cryptocurrency.
794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How find links in bitcointalk in an easiest way on: January 28, 2020, 12:49:15 PM
It's nice of you creating this thread but you don't need to install that app and it contains some ads it will cause your phone to lag, on every phone brand they have built-in notes with no ads at all just explore your phone features. On PC you can easily save on notepads and you can actually search anything on google with this format ( topic that you want to find + bitcointalk) list of topics will appear automatically.
795  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you get latest crypto news? on: January 28, 2020, 10:45:04 AM
I am getting news on different platforms like Twitter, Telegram, Reddit, and blogs. I usually go to https://www.newsbtc.com but there are lots of blogs out there just search crypto news on google. Beware some news are not true and fake some blogs are paid to post fake content. I just witness it with Binance in the previous year a blogging site publishing fake news against them. For cryptocurrency events, I usually go to coinmarketcal.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [AMA] The Life of a Professional Gambler on: January 28, 2020, 09:27:04 AM
Did it come out on your mind selling one of your properties just to do gambling or did you just borrow money to do gambling stuff?

I started like a lot of people do - losing. After some time, maybe half a year, I was done with losing and said to myself, I either up my game or quit gambling. So I took 800,- Euro and that was my starting bank. I always had a pretty simple money management and I started with staking 3% flat. Only single bets allowed.
I still remember my very first bet as a "pro". It was a tennis WTA match, Bammer to beat Bohmova @1,55. Stake was 24,- Euro (3% of 800,-) and it won, which gave me a net profit of 13,20 Euro. And so it started.

As the weeks, months and years went by, my winnings were higher than what I needed for my expenses. I only ever cashed out, what I needed to live and thus was able to compound - my betting bank grew and with it the stakes I placed on bets. I stayed on flat 3% stake for a long time. And with higher stakes and good, valuable bets, I was able to make more money of course. So, I never had to sell anything or borrow money. I started with the 800,- Euro and build my way up from there.

Nowadays I still have a betting bank (i.e. money that sits on my betting accounts, Neteller, Skrill etc.) and I am using this capital for my bets. I don't play 3% flat stakes anymore, it's lower now. I was never a fan of money management systems like Kelly for example, just for the reason, that I can tell that a bet has probably value, but I am struggling to tell precisely how much value it has. So flat stakes is a bit for the lazy ones, but just suits me right. And you should always do things the way you feel comfortable, if possible.
That was inspiring I guess making it simple and not complicated is fine. Anyways, what gambling sites are you into? sports betting sites? dice, poker, etc. Personally I have more success at sports bettings I don't know but in sports, you can pretty much predict who is winning if you know the team and sports of course but not at all time, In majority I have more wins than losses in those betting platforms.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No shill, just news. on: January 28, 2020, 09:02:45 AM
I have an account on mercatox and sometimes I am looking for possible arbitrage small exchanges do not react that fast in the change of price compared to a big volume exchanges. Now back to the topic this exchange is full of sh*tcoins there are so many coins with no volume at all and only sell orders and no surprise they are targeted by sh*tcoin projects for listing.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain to me what all the hype is with NFTs / digital collectables? on: January 28, 2020, 03:22:55 AM
We got a similar feeling about these NFTs some are so expensive with no use at all it is just digital art, I prefer buying actual art physically and put it on my wall. But I guess these platforms or investors are trying to hype it to be able to gain more returns or sell it at a much higher price.

Just like this one a binance limited edition NFT was last sold for 29.8 ETH More than $5000 and now being listed for 2,980 ETH.

799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunter stop free promoting! We are not Beggars! on: January 27, 2020, 11:54:53 PM
That is the reality in bounty hunting it seems like it is gambling too. Betting or entering a campaign without knowing that you will really earn from it unless it is BTC paid or ETH but campaigns like that are rare mostly signature with limited participants. To minimize the risk we should DYOR too even unique projects now fail because the lack of supports from the community no investors because everyone is being cautious and careful and not ending up being scammed.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [AMA] The Life of a Professional Gambler on: January 27, 2020, 11:44:17 PM
It is great to hear someone in gambling for around 15 years. Anyways, my question is how do you survive? given that gambling is not always winning. what are your strategies and discipline? Did it come out on your mind selling one of your properties just to do gambling or did you just borrow money to do gambling stuff? I am just curious but I never did those though.
