781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters, I need some advice on: December 18, 2020, 11:11:51 PM
i dont see anything wrong with the project , your main concept is social media with real users plus a bank . we know that theres many fake personalities in the existing social media platforms today but you can eliminate them .now i dont wonder anymore why this thing needs a kyc . your thread is posted by this month and it shouldnt be that long enough for other members to see it .

just be patience , there are others out there that it took a couple of months before they start seeing massive sign ups .
782  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: December 18, 2020, 11:13:52 AM
whats the connect ? i know. your thinking that btc hodler traded thier coin to usdt but i think not all btc hodler are doing it and not only those who hold btc can convert thier asset to usdt but they can be eth or other crypto hodlers .

i havent seen usdt collapse before but is that even possible for such stable coin but what could really collapse is the coin that are being converted to stable coin but collapse arent unusual . if its in btc i dont believe btc will back to 3 or 4 digits but it can be 5 something .
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many projects still making tokens with such large supply? on: December 18, 2020, 10:13:51 AM
This has often been my question so far
We all know that if a project has a small supply, the price will be very expensive in the exchange, but why are so many new projects still making trillions of supply? do those who have a large supply don't want expensive token prices in the market?
Are they too greedy so that make a large supply?
More the supply then less the price per unit will be so making the total supply into trillions is the project's devs choice and it doesn't literally means they were about to make more money because if the project is shit then they are not going to make anything no matter what is their total supply value is.

thats what im thinking too . if their goal is to make money why they create a coin with huge supply but there are actually coins that are not shit but have a huge supply and afaik a few of them are on the top list but the mostly the primary goal of those coin creators are not for the profit .

also most  investors nowadays dont really care if what thier investing and will mostly grab low supply coins , they love shitcoins because they think it was a gem for them to get rich quick .
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 18, 2020, 08:46:02 AM
With all the comments here on this thread, and checking again the site. The owner haven't managed to improve their site yet. So I don't think they can attract players here even if their house edge offering is legit.
i didnt back read anymore further and id like to ask if the owner still reply on this thread ? why can he just say that his site is already perfect and he dont want any adjustments anymore if thats what he thinks so that people wont expect or will add more request .

Sometimes people are not after for the low house edge of the casino but the entertainment they can get from the game. And with their game, don't think that it is enjoyable in the long run.
those gambler that wants entertainment love to play on higher house edge . the higher the better for them because this provides more excitement and fun .also they love if the casino looks colorful and have a variety of enjoyable games not only pure luck games .
785  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WARNING] Bustabit phising site! DON'T google "bustabit" !!! on: December 18, 2020, 07:51:40 AM
That's what I'm thinking, in this case it's pretty obvious that it's a scam attempt. What's more, you won't see this page if you have an adblocker installed - or use a browser like Brave
Of course, you can think what you want about Brave, but especially in such cases, the Adblock is worth its weight in gold and protects especially inexperienced users from falling for such ad scams.
i have an adblocker installed on my craptop , maybe thats the reason why i never see a phished ads after using google when searching something but i never thought adblock this great that they also have other purpose not just solely for blocking ads  . as we can see op catch a phished ad and he was using a mobile version of chrome and i think adblocks extensions arent possible in mobile right ? but if we use browsers with built in adblocks on them thatl do the trick and yes brave browsers is one of those . another one i know is opera browsers
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest in Bitcoin is relatively low compared to 2017 Google says on: December 17, 2020, 02:05:21 PM
google says it because less people are searching for btc because people are already aware what btc is . the headline is just missleading .

not true that people are not or less interested now to btc but infact their interest shoots up more after seeing that btc is now on its new all time high over 20k usd . people involvement in btc in 2017 is big because 2017 is the first year where btc and altcoins experience a massive bull run and after that there are no more altcoin bull run that follows only btc .
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scams vs DeFi scams on: December 17, 2020, 10:41:23 AM
The fact that the Defi projects are decentralized means that the scam risk is high but that does not mean that we can not spot them and avoid getting tricked by them but its same with ico's and conventional investment methods you have to check where you are investing and to get rid of this problem every team project must pass kyc so the community will know who they are dealing with.
defi is the same as ico because both are decentralized but conventional investments can be non crypto or they can be and they can decentralize or centralized .

there are pointers that we can go thru if we want a more succesful investment but if we still fail maybe we are destined for it but theres always more than second chances  . like i mention earlier defi is decentralized thats why the kyc that you think as a solution wont fit here and kyc can infact be used as an advantage by wrong people .
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non funded projects vs funded projects on: December 17, 2020, 10:00:01 AM
non funded projects are using pure skill and talent , this is only their capital so they habe no choice but to thier best  but those funded projects are too confident enough that they already forgot to foccus on their works .

this is what im saying that if im going to succeed or have alot of money , i wont stop working what i started and im going to be humble and down to earth so that i can retain ny wealth for a many more years . i think this lesson can be applied on our topic .
789  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: December 17, 2020, 09:14:03 AM
Wow, someone tipped quite a lot to rainbot, and considering bitcoin at $22,000 each.
Can cash out in account tab tokens to any coin.

woah thats sick . i never see this happen on other gambling site especially now that btc price are pumping too much .

usually other gambling site have no rainbot , disable thier rainbot , have rainbot but give tiny satoshi only like 400 plus sats something . this is why i love bitvest so much more than any other gambling site  Smiley . not totally saying that i only love rains but i do depo too and play  but who doesnt like free coins anyway ?
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blocked funds in a poker room on: December 17, 2020, 06:19:15 AM
That is why we need to find the right site that will not leave and scam its members. Although it is not easy, we can find the gambling site on this forum because we will get a good list of the gambling site with good reputations.
i think theres no scamming happened but it looks that the op also done something wrong making him experience something bad on his account . the site where he played is still there and it didnt leave and both of them are still comunicating and hoping to solve each of thier issues .

finding a right site or should i say a more trusted site is not that hard because this forum of ours are not scam friendly and mostly that can remain here are legit sites only . if you still find it hard on your side you need to be persistent and just try to find a trusted site because itl be worth it at end.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The demise of Bitcoin. Biggest threat to Bitcoin and all PoW coins on: December 16, 2020, 01:01:41 PM
This sacred rock is just one way of tapping into unlimited energy... And this is the biggest threat to Bitcoin and other PoW coins.

There's some naïve humor in this. I mean, seriously? You do think that this sacred rock is a threat to Bitcoin? I've read that the people in Sri Lanka has good access to electricity but it has not yet reached 100%.[1] And how many households does this rock actually provide free electricity to? I guess none. So before we talk of this rock threatening PoW coins, let's first consider its better and more immediate use.

Well, other than this rock, we actually have unlimited energy sources. We'll never run out of the sun's heat, for example. Neither will our wind get exhausted. We also have unlimited atoms for fission and fusion. And so far, Bitcoin has never been threatened by all this.

[1] https://ourworldindata.org/energy/country/sri-lanka?country=~LKA
and he said that there are other inventions that public dont know but why those inventions arent use to threaten or destroy btc ? even on our country some people here can get free electricity but instead of thinking ways to use it to destroy btc , these people will be silently using that free electricity for good and for thier own purposes only . they can use it to mine free coins and earn income , if they destroy btc and other cryptos they are like destroying thier source of income but the post of op is a good read though , its interesting and reminds me of a discovered rock that i saw on a tiktok video
792  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH then correction of 35%+ on: December 16, 2020, 12:19:21 PM
Maybe next year.
I am not really hoping that it will reach a new ATH, I mean I am but then it seems it cant and then it can and then it cant so I don't know.
upon reading this my reaction is changing from this > Smiley to this > Undecided and then this > Smiley to this again > Undecided and so on . confusing isnt it ? but who wouldnt be ? we know btc .

If it happens, it happens. It is not like I will be selling all of my Bitcoins, maybe just some of them and use it to celebrate the exit of this worst year and welcome a new and maybe prosperous year.
ouch . i dont blame you for saying that this year is worst coz i know there is covid and many popular personalities passed out but not because of covid and others... but for the crypto the year isnt that bad because as we see we finally reach this prices again and it took almost 3 years for this to happen but lets hope that next year are going to be more better than this year .
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want DEFI? Go Oldy on: December 16, 2020, 10:46:28 AM
i thought the oldy on your title is name of a coin or the coin itself but it looks like you mean older coins . i like this better than a coin named oldy if ever it existed  Grin but you said defi that starts in 2018 , are there already defi on that year ?

because i think defi have started on the late 2019 and it only peak at the middle of 2020 but now that 2020 is closing the defi seem to do the same . too bad that old defi are getting affected by the new and scammy ones .
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: December 16, 2020, 10:06:58 AM
I have to agree with Lakai01, I prefer a website that has a simple and professional design.
I dont like Sites that have animations all over the place, might not run on all devices, slows down my computer/mobile device.

Bustabit has a nice design and runs smooth on all my devices, what can one want more?

same . my lappy and pc are not that high quality enough for a fancy gambling site , i always feel laggy and it frustrates me but i dont have a problem visiting basic sites such as bustadice and bustabit .

in the first place my only goal is to gamble and not to feel good by seing cool animations and nice graphics . its a big loss for a gambling site because we arent the only people that have a low end device
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: If you have sell target, YOU'RE COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT. on: December 16, 2020, 07:31:06 AM
bitcoin is the only asset that can give you true ownership of your money or wealth
holding because you have plan on selling at a higher value makes you hold more your btc as when compare to if you dont have goals because you will end up selling randomly or too early . now tell which is better ? the one that those who hodl right ? however your also missing the point of btc if you will only hodl forever because btc isnt meant for that but btc is meant for active spending just like a regular currency .

for me it doesnt matter if i have a btc or a fiat but as long as i own it , im the owner of it .
796  Economy / Gambling / Re: A BRAND NEW BITCOIN CASINO FOR ALL CRYPTOENTHUSIASTS! on: December 16, 2020, 06:12:56 AM
Put some pictures in the ANN message.
yeah they will . i notice that they already have a cooper member which means they listen to previous users that also recomends this but they are still offline right now .

I was curious to visit your new casino, but uBlock Origin blocks it for too many redirects and tracking:

uBlock Origin has prevented the following page from loading:
https://winnershall.g2afse.com/click?pid=2&offer_id=3

When you add the KYC, my curiosity is gone.
i can visit the website normally and i only have an adblock but by the way what is that ublock ? and how is that differes to adblock but that must be a browser plugin too right ?  .  about the kyc.  kyc is already talked about on the first page and they say that they require all users to comply with it but hopefully they make adjustments because many users are not fine if a site has a kyc
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 16, 2020, 05:17:36 AM
Here in India, the government is refusing to do that and as a result the gambling is mostly done underground away from the eyes of the government authorities.
With your case in India, maybe the government has yet to see its economic impact on the country given that maybe only a handful of gambling institutions are erected there. Another thing, the population of India is so significantly huge that other problems are needed to be focused rather than gambling.
The problem in India is not about its huge population, because no matter how big the population is, if they have a good leader, they will make a way to solve and use gambling to sustain their economy. Underground gambling is not an ideal way because a lot of violence might happen that will cause more problem to their Government unlike being a regulated one.

they dont need to continue underground gambling because government are going to be warm with them and supply them with the needs to be able to verify their own casino. the reason why many gambling are operating underground is because of charges and they think that the government is going to be after them .

another is the huge population of india . if gambling is finaly legal the gambling business will be verry profitable on that country  . government can then provide help for the poor cause by huge population
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 15, 2020, 04:37:15 PM
Defi is not dead, in my opinion what has died is the interest in the Defi project,
because many of Defi's projects have now become nonsense, yes scammers are also in the Defi project,
making Uniswap the home of the Defi scammer project, of course this is what makes DeFi's name bad.
What's the difference ? If people have no interest on defi , defi will continue to fall one by one and will end like an ico and defi actually started and also compared similar to ico that we got back days .

There still defi that are standing strong and those are the original or the defi's with real  purpose . scammers are everywhere so expect that they will appear in the defi field and since its decentralized scammers loved it .
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges that support low amount of conversion on: December 15, 2020, 03:22:14 PM
I have been with that the same situation of wanting to convert the dust amount that I've got from another altcoin but exchanges does have a higher limit than the amount that I've got. The suggestions about trading it with other people is the most ideal, the p2p.

You'll just waste time and that small amount in exchanges when you want to transfer it. You want it in Eth? that would potentially be the lowest/highest amount that you could pay just for the transfer fee.

everybody is suggesting p2p trades . @op what crypro wallet  are you using ? other crypto wallets have a built in exchange on them and theres no minimum depo on a wallet, if im not mistaken exodus wallet have it but you can search for a reliable one and convert it right away , fees are also lesser compare to exchanges .

or you can just spend in on a online shop that accept crypto and pay using that coin . you dont need to stress your self out for a small amount of money and i believe in you that you can earn money again in the future , use it to buy eth .
800  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this a scam? on: December 15, 2020, 02:28:14 PM
I checked the video it has no sound and I don't understand a thing, it's too good to be true if he really made millions on Primedice he should use a good video editor but it was poorly created, I don't believe people who boast they are making a lot of money like millions of dollar in one gambling site, it's more of a click bait better ignore this video.
have you tried voluming up your device because it had a sound but it was too low . he narates what he was doing on the vid and its not a background sound or music . first tab is his wallet and second tab is primedice , he was showing that he depo and and withdraw by toggling in the transaction tabs of both pd and his wallet . i dont want to believe it but he really has a proof and its in a video and i think thats not possible to edit it ? but why he dont have a fix price in his pdf and i dont think he will sell it for a few bucks because he already earned millions .
