Can you turn it off, though? Or is RBF enabled for all transactions? Because enabling RBF but not allowing users to actually use it is worse than just not enabling it all.
You can turn it off under "Advanced Options" while making a payment. It seems to be enabled by default which is weird because it was disabled in the v2.7.0 update. I have no idea what a "regular Send" is.

Nie mogę sam go edytować ani usunąć.
Jakbyś miał jeszcze jakieś pytania, to śmiało. Nie musiałem podpisać NDA

If I got it correctly payments are still limited to 0.0429 4967 295 BTC (2^32-1 msat).
It might be an LND exclusive feature. See the following quote. To coincide with this feature, the existing payment limits have been lifted in the payment related RPC calls. The max payment is now bounded by what the reciever can receive, and what the sender can route over using MPP. Apparently, payments larger than the limit are split into smaller chunks. I am not sure how c-lightning and Eclair would behave in such a situation.

All major implementations now support "wumbo". It allows node operators to create and accept channels larger than 0.16777215 BTC and payments larger than 0.04294967 BTC. While the vast majority of users won't "go wumbo", operators of large nodes might benefit from it by having to rebalance their channels less often. Instructions on how to enable "wumbo": LND, c-lightning, Eclair

Use your forum name "Rath_" and I'll add an option for alternative usernames right away.
Done. Let me know once you have added it. Thanks in advance! Everyone's changing usernames those days? Yeah, everyone seems to have a good reason to do so. @TheBeardedBaby 's baby probably grew a nice beard.

Hey @TryNinja. Is there any way for me to get notifications for both "Rath" and "Rath_"? I have tried using "/start" and changing my nickname to "Rath", but I noticed that I didn't get notified about a quote from this post. I assume that most people will omit the underscore in my nickname but it seems that it breaks quotes (or maybe it was a one time thing). Edit: I have just got a notification that I mentioned myself in this post.

How did you get to this dialog for Coin control?
Make sure you are running the latest version of Ledger Live (2.11.1) and select "Send". Enter a Bitcoin address, type in any amount that you can cover from your balance, click on "Advanced options" and you should see "Coin control" on the right side of the window.
|
|
|
You can pick from two options? Can you actually pick individual UTXOs to spend, or can you only pick one of these options and the wallet still picks for you? Because that is not coin control.
There's also a third strategy called "Oldest coins first (FIFO)". You can pick individual UTXOs to use for the selected strategy. Here's how it looks like with all UTXOs selected. You can unselect an UTXO by clicking on it. Selecting individual UTXOs and "Minimize future fees" as a strategy should give a similar result to Electrum's coin control. Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious here, but that is true at any price, no?
You're right. They could have just used "potential fees rise" instead of "potential price rise".

Then why does it says the address will br expired?
It's an expiration date of an "invoice" and not your address. It doesn't have any impact on your wallet. I guess it is supposed to make it easier for some people to see which payments are overdue. The desktop version also behaves like that. You can change the expiration time by clicking the button next to 'Clear'.

If anyone knows 'Wallet of Satoshi', does it use a single NodeID for all of the user's wallet?
It is very likely since it is a custodial wallet. I have looked up their name on the 1ml.com explorer and found two nodes ( #1 and #2). The former is the one which generated those invoices. The latter has a much lower capacity so it might not belong to that service at all.

Eh, payment failure on my side (Wallet of Satoshi). Will try Blue Wallet in a moment.
Keep in mind that both of you need to have your wallets open when you are trying to send a payment. It is not possible to receive and route Lightning Network payments while being offline.
|
|
|
But it is seen as an alt coin because you need to swap your bitcoin for those lightning tokens to be able to use it on their network.
There is no such thing as Lightning Network tokens. Basically, the Lightning Network consists of many small valid Bitcoin transactions which are not broadcast to the network. I might be oversimplifying it too much, but it should give you a general idea. Indirect payments over the LN are a little bit more complicated. Consider reading the FAQ and feel free to ask questions there.

Is there any way to update Trezor without having to connect hardware device via USB? As far I know, Coldcard allows to update via SD-cards, what about Trezor?
No, you need to connect your Trezor either to a computer or an Android phone via USB. Currently, the SD card reader has only one functionality which helps to mitigate the unfixable seed extraction exploit.
|
|
|
Are there any updates regarding the Trezor suite?
They talk about it more often on their Telegram channel. Apparently, it is going to become publicly available in the third quarter of this year and the closed beta is still running. The changelog is available here.

Under Show Addresses, are addresses labeled Receiving those from which I can select in order to receive?
Yes, all of them belong to you. What are those labeled Change?
Change addresses are used when you don't spend an input fully. Instead of sending the remaining coins to the same address from which they were sent, they are sent to a completely new address in order to enhance your privacy. You can turn off that feature in the settings. Is there a guide more updated than the one on electrum.org?
I don't think so. You can also check bitcoinelectrum.com for more information and this thread if you are interested in the Lightning Network support.
