781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Courage for cryptocurrency participants on: January 30, 2019, 10:14:14 AM
While one is optimistic about crypto or any other investment, it is not a crime to have preparation for possible loss or failure. Some factors can just be beyond one's control. And no business is without a particular risk. Adequate preparation is crucial and should be properly addressed. Like you said one's time will come with one prevailing.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally ETH is back at no. 2 spot on: January 30, 2019, 09:55:30 AM
Soon he will fall even lower, now the stellar over it is trying very hard, and there maybe Cardano will support the initiative of breaking into top positions. So developers have something to think about.
No doubt other projects are coming up with innovative techs and the same way the ETH developers are putting all they've got to make the blockchain more better and effective. The spot will be for the survival of the fittest. I still believe ETH is still the king of altcoins. It is just a matter of time and solid developmental implementation for it to retain the 2nd spot.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: January 30, 2019, 09:25:40 AM
Hodling is the only option available during this turbulent time. Or what is the use of tons of unlisted tokens in my wallet if not to keep calm and hodl? Many tokens are afraid of entering any exchange right now for the fear of heavy price dump.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme on: January 27, 2019, 09:56:48 PM
Well you can try your 100$ of your money into a shitcoin, try to find a good shitcoin then with your 100$ it can be turned ito 10K - 100K USD. I have a experience with that. Example like a nano currency they start at under 0.01$ and get ATH 35$
I'm not doubting your view, but a good shitcoin might not see much increase in this current market and might as well end up dead before the end of this bear market. Your strategy was productive in a different market. However, it might not spell out good this time around. Even the genuine coins are struggling to keep heads up.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin? on: January 26, 2019, 07:20:13 PM
I think the obstacle of bitcoin is all the forks going on such as BitcoinSV and BCH.  This is confusing new investors that go to Bitcoin.com to buy bitcoin when in reality its BCH they are purchasing.

Yes, the division and different ideology in the bitcoin community is biggest obstacle of bitcoin coupled with unending market manipulation by the whales. These are slowing bitcoin in many ways.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 26, 2019, 06:55:50 PM
Whether to the Moon or to the Mar, we just need a leap from this earth. However, hyping won't help this time, but a real organic growth as a result of solid development and usage. This is just January and we still have a long ride for the year.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: January 26, 2019, 04:41:14 PM
For the sake of bitcoin gaining more adoption and for the fact that banks don't want to be left behind in this current wave of bitcoin revolution, I think it is a good thing. However, it will be more appropriate if the bank is merely in for investment rather than making itself a BTC custodian because the later is not needed.
788  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: January 24, 2019, 07:10:41 PM
I thought everyone got major learning by hacked off cryptopia. You never and ever leave your coins on exchanges or webwallets. Sooner or later you're gonna lose money. You might use a wallet for storage, a place you have control over it. You are only transferring to an exchange if you plan to sell.
that works for long term trader or investor, but not for daily trader
if you are trying to make money by trading everyday, you will need to keep your coins on the exchanges
depositing/withdrawing everyday would be cumbersome, time consuming, and very costly
You are right. There is no way day traders won't leave some amount of their assets on exchange for profit taking purposes. For this reason, I think there is need for exchanges to step up their security and always have counter measures in place to protect their users and their own reputation as well.
789  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: January 24, 2019, 06:48:05 PM
No matter how digital the world will be, fiat will still be relevant. The government still needs it and moreso some places will never be digitalised and fiat will be the only means of transaction. We shouldn't eradicate or preach against fiat, but rather find ways by which both digital currencies and fiat can coexist.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: January 24, 2019, 06:32:08 PM
I don't see any reason why bounty hunters should be running away from KYC unless they are using bots or participating with multiple accounts. However, hunters also have right to data/identity privacy especially in the case of unconfirmed projects. Similarly, fear of strict KYC procedures will cause any hunter to avoid KYC processes. Some projects can be so strict with the verification process, frustrating the hunter of which in the end, he can lose his reward.
Seeing some projects requesting for international passport as the only form of identity is a total turn off.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: January 24, 2019, 06:19:14 PM
Here in one of the developing countries, bitcoin ATM is far from what we need. Quite a number of people have heard about the word bitcoin but only few really understood its features and usage while many will consider it scam due to bad experiences people have had with online deals. I think education on bitcoin is what we need here for more adoption.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Revolution or a new start? on: January 24, 2019, 05:25:02 PM
Finally US company pay his business tax via BTC so, we can say it's a good start of BTC in future..

I think this company started new revolution so that other company too think of paying tax or payment via BTC. If companies started pay via BTC then other country definatly accept BTC too.

What you guys think of Overstock participate or i can say start revolution in BTC world.
Since it was a tax payment, that means the government must have been on either end. This is a great progress in the bitcoin adoption process right at the heart of the most powerful nation. Hopefully individuals and nations can follow this path of revolution.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: January 21, 2019, 07:27:47 PM
I think that this would be a completely different community. Satoshi initially safe his identity because of the idea of decentralization.
Yes, that is idea he put forward by going anonymous, decentralisation. He demonstrated the core feature of Bitcoin by allowing the community to decide the its direction and development.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: January 21, 2019, 07:18:00 PM
Of course. Fiat becomes a physical payment instrument. although crypto currencies are growing rapidly, but don't forget that crypto currencies have value because there is fiat money. Fiat indirectly becomes a crypto value gauge.
I totally agree with your point of view. I still don't get it why people often see fiat currency as the bad guy forgetting that without it we can't actually value whatever crypto assets we're holding. Well, maybe because of the government backing which is anticrypto.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: January 21, 2019, 07:02:39 PM
None of the two is without risk. Of the two, which one can I properly manage its risky without becoming too risky? For now, crypto is very unstable and full of uncertainties. Best choice is to open a real business, very good one and then little percentage from the profit can be invested into crypto from time to time.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the right time to explain about bitcoin to others..? on: January 19, 2019, 09:06:42 PM
There is no other time better to explain bitcoin to others than this moment. Many people entered the crypto world when things were rosy and market was booming. Lost in the excitement, many tutors forgot to explain to their students that experience like this (bear market) are bound to happen. Many hands has been burnt already. This is a better moment to make people understand the dynamic of crypto market and give them the opportunity to accumulate now.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: January 19, 2019, 08:56:40 PM
My strategy is to keep holding and accumulate  more Altcoin that  are potentially viable, with prospect to increase when the bull run commence, the currenct market give more opportunity to increase my investment  portfolio, the bull run is sure to take place in 2019.
It is true that holding is like a safe haven to prevent total loss. But how do you view someone still holding what he bought at ATH with no bullrun in sight? Definitely, holding doesn't look good when it is not properly applied especially in this bear market. However, I think by buying more in this dip, the cost can be averaged.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people refuse to accept bitcoin? on: January 19, 2019, 08:48:17 PM
3) are afraid of scammers
This is almost everywhere. No statistics to back this up, but nearly everyone that has been on the net or is using internet must have been a victim of scam in one way or the other or had a encounter with online fraudster. This experience will make people think twice before investing in an "invisible (intangible) asset" or digital product like bitcoin. I agree with you, friends and family are afraid of being scammed which is slowing down mass adoption of bitcoin.
799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: January 18, 2019, 07:44:32 PM
I personally believe that since I am involved in some other activities, I can not give the required time and flexibility which requires for the short term trade but as I can always take some time out of my schedule, I can use that time for research and it helps me to determine long term investment plans. As far as my experience is concerned, a newbie should take his time and start investing for the long term where he always has the opportunity to restructure his investment as per his knowledge and research which is usually difficult for a newbie to do in the short term.

but in my opinion a beginner is better off trading short term, because it will make him more time to learn directly and hone his skills, if he often interacts with the market, he will find out more quickly about market conditions.

I think long term trading will beneficial more than daily trading because daily trading had lot of work to do but long term trading will not be like this in daily trading the tensions are most important thing for us that's why saying this.

There is no thumb rule for trading and thus a trader can learn to trade in the short term as well as in the long term. However, when a new person enters into the market and starts trading, it is the period of excitement without much experience and knowledge about the market. I have observed that new trader often believes his initial results and assume it as benchmarking situation which is not true at all. Every trade is unique and hence some disappointments in early trades might destroy his interest in trading whereas having the larger timeline for trading can give some experience of the market and new trader gets time to settle.

I think the long term trading will be there right way to get more useful for our future but that daily trading is also profitable but the enough money will not be make able to survey our life but it depends upon the situation so we can definitely choose either short term or long time investment.
Both trading terms are good, profitable and none is without a risk. As a trader, it is advisable to have a long term trade while one can always do some quick day trades. However, one must still know what works for him/her and stick to it.
800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: January 18, 2019, 07:31:42 PM
Study more, do paper trades, do analysis of your paper trades. Ask if you are looping in similar mistakes while trading. DON'T TRADE WITHOUT A TIGHT STOP LOSS. Have your own strategy which is tested by you and do not even trust on your strategy HAVE STOP LOSS.

I love the way you stressed the words 'stop loss.' Stop loss is a great tool and it always come in handy in tight situation when properly put in place. Also I agree with you on owning one's strategy. What works for other person might not work for you. So, it is important to develop and know, stick and try out one's personal strategy.
