hmm moriartybitcoin name seems familiar Hi folks,
My company is developing a competitor to LocalBitcoins Thanks!
Dr. Michael Moriarty The Bitcoin Network
You can buy and sell altcoins such as Maidsafecoin, Mastercoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Namecoin, Bitshares and more.
You can buy and sell most major forex currencies such as USD, Euros, Yen, Rubles and more.
Deposits and withdrawals via BITCOIN!
Trades execute INSTANTLY and WITHDRAWALS are processed within 2-3 hours. No waiting!
NO MINIMUMS! You can start trading with as little as 0.01 btc!
this guy is absolutely on drugs. if you can only deposit and withdraw bitcoins. then your not buying and selling altcoins or forex. your just GAMBLING fake alotments of non existant securities which customer can never actually own. hello earth to planet cocaine.. withdrawals taking 3hours, no waiting!! no minimums, trade starts at 0.01!! moriarty cant even get a sales pitch for his scam to even sound rational.. so, now lets look at all of his businesses and let the doxing begin seems he is trying to create rep by saying he has beem around since 2010 with 50 businesses January 2010 – Present (4 years 5 months) Vancouver, Canada Area
I currently own and operate the Bitcoin Network of 50+ Bitcoin related websites including BitPlastic, CoinChimp, BitBing, BitListing, BitArmored, and many more! so lets look at when these businesses were created Domain: Bitlaunder.com Domain Age: 1 year 60 days old Domain: bitplastic.com Domain Age: 1 year old Domain: bitsweeps.com Domain Age: 1 year old Domain: coinchimp.com Domain Age: 6 month old im starting to see a pattern here i.e. privacy guard this makes me laugh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LY3BYR_1L9shis bitcoin meetup and linkedin places him in san fransisco. so ill leave others to dox this guy as i have time constraints as he is obviously a scammer. you just have to google all his domains and many scam accusations pop up. prime example of his lack of trust.. so many claims of being hacked then blaming th customer for trusting him with so much money If you were smart, you would not load 1 BTC to any online wallet anyway, especially as a test. Online wallets are best used for smaller amounts.
Again, you can call me a scammer all you want, but I run 50+ sites and hundreds of meetups worldwide, and dozens of free sites like BitListing and BitMeetup ... and it's just not in my best interest to steal anybody's money. I'm 'obviously' a scammer? Wow, as far as I can tell, you've never used any sites on my network. Guess you're just another forum troll who likes to make accusations you can't back up. The one or two public complaints about my sites were already long-since resolved by me PUBLICLY in this forum. If anyone has a complaint - EVER - I am happy to ADDRESS it publicly right here. We have 10,000+ clients. So go ahead, fire away. I'm not hiding - I'm right here to address anything and everything. What's your beef?

Page looks like a joke or put up by an idiot. Just a listing of sites which use Cloudflare. Everybody should be using Cloudflare as it is a security enhancement. Incidentally, the El Paso County Sherrif's office is listed on that page, along with plenty of legitimate looking AND scammy looking sites: http://www.epcsheriff.com/

Talking about capital gains: However, we DO NOT report to any revenue agency or government, nor would we comply with official requests for information. That doesn't sound illegal at all... Why would it be illegal? We're not US based. We have no obligation to report anything to US authorities or anyone else.

I think calling Brock Pierce a pedophile is premature and somewhat ludicrous. As far as I can tell, he has not been charged criminally with any sex crimes, much less convicted. Anyone can sue anybody for anything. Civil lawsuits mean absolutely nothing, whether they are for 'fraud' or 'sexual assault' or anything else. Companies and individuals get sued all the time for good reasons, bad reasons, and often no reasons at all.
That being said, I'm still opposed to the appointment of Brock Pierce, as he seems to be a venture capital darling and nothing more. Then again, I'm opposed to the Bitcoin Foundation itself and the direction it is heading. It seems to me they are trying to centralize Bitcoin especially with their support of mega-ponzi schemes like CoinBase and formerly Gox. Instead, they should be focusing on decentralization and anonymity exemplified by Amir Taaki and Cody Wilson's Dark Wallet, David Johnston's Mastercoin, Ethereum, and other real innovations.
Raising MtGox from the dead like Lazarus seems like a bad, bad idea ...

And also, if ANYONE using ANY of my sites has an issue with me or my services, I encourage them to post it here or elsewhere on Bitcointalk and it will be addressed publicly. I am not hiding - I'm right here, ready to address any possible complaint. I strive to provide the BEST possible service for all sites on my network. Michael Moriarty

One of the users who posted those 'scam' complaints was fully satisfied after I addressed the issue (really a misunderstanding) and even posted a news article on my site describing the resolution: http://bitforum.org/robocoin-vs-diamond-circle/

This individual is the owner of the scam website s-btc.com. He's never used any website in my network and the complaints he points to online have long since been successfully resolved.
I should note that if you google 'coinbase scam' or 'btc-e scam' you'll find a lot more complaints than those 2 or 3 involving BitPlastic (which, by the way, I publicly resolved). And yet, neither CoinBase nor BTC-E are scams per se (ponzi schemes, maybe!).

Ha, funny. You're the owner of the Russian scam site S-btc.com. Good one, you stole $150 from me. Congrats.

Hi folks, My company is developing a competitor to LocalBitcoins and we're seeking user suggestions and feedback. What features would you like to see on a LocalBitcoins-style website? What improvements could we offer beyond what LocalBitcoins already does? What do you like and dislike most about LocalBitcoins? We want to provide a top-notch and innovative service similar to LocalBitcoins but with many improvements and new features. Please feel free to post your suggestions here or email them to moriarty.bitcoin@gmail.comWe take user input VERY SERIOUSLY and if your suggestions make sense we will implement them on the site. Thanks! Dr. Michael Moriarty The Bitcoin Network

I should also mention BitSpeculate is much, much better than Kraken. Many Kraken traders complain they cannot get their money out. For example: https://www.bitcoinforum.com/bitcoin-discussion/kraken-6-months-and-still-cannot-get-my-money/Kraken will deny your documents and verification then hold your money indefinitely. Kraken is another overfunded, poorly-run, over-compliant company that is simply not in the spirit of decentralized currency. BitSpeculate will NEVER demand compliance documents. Withdrawals are processed within a few hours. It is as easy as logging in and then placing a trade. Even a beginning Bitcoiner or trader can do it. https://BitSpeculate.comThat doesn't help much when its coming for your mouth. I would suggest having someone other than the owner vouching for it. Exactly. Which is why we are asking people to try the site and offer feedback or criticism publicly here.

|
I see some of you have signed up and used the service.
I would LOVE to hear feedback about the user experience:
What do you like? What don't you like? How can we improve the service? (don't say lower fees :-) What kinds of features would you like to see? Is it easy enough to use? What other kinds of withdrawal and deposit options would you want?
Criticize it, praise it .. anything helps. We are seeking feedback to make this a great service. Thanks, Michael Moriarty

Look, Kraken is an absolute JOKE. There are literally hundreds of complaints about not being able to withdraw funds. We created https://BitSpeculate.com as a direct competitor to Kraken. BitSpeculate enables you to trade commodities like gold and oil, cryptocurrencies, forex currencies, stocks, Bitcoin stocks like BitcoinShop and Fortress Investment Group, and hedge funds. Trades occur instantly in and out. No verification documents required. Absolute anonymity. Withdrawals processed within a few hours. We report NOTHING to any government agency and do not even collect your name or address. All you need is an email to use our service. The downside? Our fees are higher than Kraken. https://BitSpeculate.com

CoinBase is forced to 'comply' with AML/KYC which makes it not much better than Paypal or GreenDot - they can (and will) seize your Bitcoins at the drop of a hat. They will report all your finances to the IRS, FinCEN and (probably) the NSA also. Like MtGox, they are most likely using your Bitcoins to invest on their own. It's a ponzi scheme just as bad as CaVirtex - maybe worse.
|
|
|
CoinBase isn't a PURE SCAM but more like a Ponzi scheme like MtGox. Also, CoinBase reports all of your Bitcoin holdings to the IRS, FinCEN and probably the NSA as well. They are plugged into the government because their Venture Capital funding partners demand 'compliance.' If you buy and sell Bitcoins with CoinBase, the IRS will know about it. And one day you may receive a knock on the door. For a truly ANONYMOUS way to buy and sell Bitcoins, use https://CoinChimp.com ... FAST, SECURE, PRIVATE and NOT a ponzi!

Also there are threads on other forums about this scam .. just google s-btc.com scam and you'll find plenty of disparaging information. Do not trust these crooks!

As I mentioned in another thread, S-BTC.COM is a SCAM. I deposited money and then they simply froze my account. No way to withdraw my funds, support doesn't answer emails, blocked my IP so I can't even access their site. This is the message you'll get after you try to buy bitcoin on their site (especially if you're buying a larger amount!): 'You're blocked for suspicious activity. Your funds will be returned. You may contact support team at support@s-btc.comВы заблокированы за подозрительные действия в аккаунте. Ваши средства будут возвращены. Вы можете связаться с техподдержкой по адресу support@s-btc.com' TOTAL SCAM!!
